Overall, they have good food and service. Today was an exception: a woman with long hair decided to play a joke and claim she didn't understand what I wanted to order. She was very cheerful about it. She deliberately tried to put something else on my plate, even though other customers were also telling her what I wanted. I normally have no problem communicating, especially when ordering rice with fish.

The name is completely inappropriate. Nothing is cooked "alla mama" or "homemade" here. In the kitchen, they turn the large steamers into which the metal containers filled with frozen food are placed. And there's no Italian restaurant. Kale with sausage and Wiener-style schnitzel with fries are the daily specials today. The price is reasonable, and I'd rate the taste as good as a snack bar. The staff behind the counter (self-service - so much for a restaurant) is motivated and friendly. Everything is clean. But it does have a train station atmosphere. Free Wi-Fi and parking right outside are positives.

Lots of choice and steep prices. I ordered a vegetarian burger and was told it wasn't available due to a lack of staff, but we could have the cauliflower casserole! Hello! Are you serious? Then I got a regular burger for 7.95, which was served cold, and I got really dry ribs. So, quality and service, 0 points.

The idea of ​​adding such a “feeding station” here is actually great, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio still leaves a lot of room for improvement. In any case, the relatively high prices at the moment can only be explained by the location and lack of competition in the surrounding area, and in no way by the special quality of the products or particularly amazing taste. In the two dishes we have tried so far, we chewed our way through completely tasteless fried potatoes and a tough schnitzel and the absolute lowlight of culinary “enjoyment” so far: the pizza. Not only was it outrageously expensive for something that looked like an undersized version of pretty much any frozen pizza, including ham that had been measured with a set square and chopped into equally sized squares. It was also inedible and most of it ended up in the trash because practically the entire bottom was burned into a single slab of coal. The young man behind the counter was clearly inexperienced and I don't want to hold that against him, but perhaps his colleague/supervisor should have helped from time to time instead of retreating to the back in annoyance. The serving staff were definitely nice and friendly, I assume that there is still room for improvement in the kitchen and at management level. In any case, I won't be getting my lunch break food there any time soon.
