The team is extremely friendly! We always enjoy visiting the potato field.

We come regularly and my favorite dish is definitely the baked sweet potato with goat cheese and spinach on a bed of lettuce. Everything else is of course also recommended, but this is my absolute favorite. Add a glass of Riesling and the day is perfect. The staff are always very courteous and attentive, and that is definitely not always easy for every guest. Kind regards

A little hidden in the back of the sixth and therefore a little insider tip. Starting with the super nice and very attentive service and then of course continuing with the food: Very nice menu with dishes based around potatoes. We had a potato and broccoli gratin and rösti with Zurich schnitzel. Very good quality, the meat is tender and the preparation was really skillful. The quantity is more than enough. In addition to non-alcoholic drinks, the drinks menu also offers wines, beers and the almost obligatory KaDeWe champagnes… Due to the location, it is a little quieter when eating than in the sometimes very busy front part of the restaurants. This was definitely not our last visit here.

A very comfortable spot at the back of the KaDeWe food hall, perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal. The dishes are delicious, especially our favorite, the Bauernfrühstück, with perfectly crispy Bratkartoffeln. And the service is great and friendly. A great place to enjoy classic, well-made comfort food in Berlin!

I've been going to the potato field for probably 15 years. Probably longer since my mother took me with her as a child. The stand is always well attended, of course, everyone likes what is on offer. For me they have the best fried potatoes here, but everything tastes really good. My favorite is the Winzer Rösti, I could indulge in that. There is hardly anything that tastes better. The employees are now familiar faces, always friendly and helpful. I haven't lived in Berlin for a few years but when I'm here I ALWAYS visit the potato field...

An institution in KaDeWe with very tasty, down-to-earth dishes. The entire long-standing team rounds off the visit. Berlin warmth with the associated authenticity. Ms. Schulze is, among other things, a great host who impresses with her warm nature. Keep it up!!

Slightly hidden but quieter than the other restaurants on the floor, with very nice service and really tasty food. We also found the prices definitely fairer than some of the other places on the same floor, where the food tastes worse. Really a little insider tip with interesting dishes.

Nos dejamos caer en Kadewe con el objetivo específico de buscar el Kartoffelacker. Una visita a este pequeño restaurante especializado en patatas en las tiendas de renombre patio de comidas de la planta superior se ha convertido en una especie de peregrinación cada vez que tenemos la suerte de estar visitando Berlín. Hemos estado aquí muchas veces a lo largo de los años y apreciamos la reubicación del restaurante de nuevo a un lugar más central. El Kartoffelpuffer es el Santo Grial para el 'Queso y besos' y los planes están en movimiento para al menos otra visita durante nuestra estancia. No estaba tan ocupado como de costumbre en este almuerzo, así que tuvimos una opción de asientos, un servicio muy rápido y amable. Kartoffelpuffer y patata al horno acompañados de un pequeño vino y cerveza hecho para un gran almuerzo. Recomienda echar un vistazo al menú y probarlo. Los precios son razonables.

Service & food is top as it has been for years. Since the renovation it has been a sad place, which was previously a hotspot with atmosphere for tourists and Berliners!!!!!
