A large but well-run hotel. Check-in was straightforward, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was plentiful, with vegan options. A good choice for tourists looking for a central location.

The worst hotel stay of my life. Broken air conditioning throughout the entire hotel and the room was like a sauna for all three nights, we didn't sleep well any of the nights we were here and it left us fatigued in the days and completely unable to enjoy our holiday. Opening the windows meant very loud noise from the road. They didn't offer fans and then had none available when we asked. (which one woman on front desk even giggled to herself about) All we were offered was 20% refund, which was a meagre £30 each. We were exhausted from lack of sleep (the literal point of a hotel) and couldn't complain to front desk anymore, none of whom seem to care. Awful, truly just absolutely terrible!

Beautiful place in the center of Berlin. From the hotel to Alexanderplatz 500m. The hotel does not have a large parking lot. But it is not a problem, because you can park your car at the back near the church. You only have to pay fees. Nearby shops: Aldi, Edek. Breakfast is varied. There is even a pancake machine.

A very conveniently located hotel in the heart of Berlin. Good size rooms, well equipped. Clean and tidy. There is an option to buy a breakfast buffet if you so desire. One thing to keep in mind - sockets don't have built-in charging ports. Make sure you bring your own chargers.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and were extremely unhappy. I'll start from the very beginning: we had to wait a long time to check in, although we arrived on time. While waiting, it immediately caught my eye that there was dust everywhere at the reception and in the room, especially on the decor - it seemed that cleaning was done formally. The room really surprised us, and not in a good way. Despite the deluxe category, it turned out to be very small, stuffy and uncomfortable. The architecture of the room is absolutely impractical - the toilet area is not separated by a full-fledged door, but just a partition. As a result: when someone just goes to wash their hands, the light turns on in three lamps at once and a noisy extractor fan, which illuminates the entire room. This is especially inconvenient if you have a child with you, for whom you have just created darkness with curtains so that he falls asleep - and all this is disturbed by one click of the switch. The air conditioner practically did not work, the room was really stuffy and hot. The windows open a maximum of 10 cm due to the restrictors, so it was impossible to ventilate. To top it all off, there was mold in the shower, which is completely unacceptable in a hotel of this level. The breakfast left much to be desired - a very poor choice and an absolutely monotonous menu. We stayed for three days - and not a single variety. The price is absolutely not consistent with the quality: almost 500 € for 3 nights with breakfast for three - and this is for such conditions. Plus, at the reception they took some additional tax, although all fees were already included in the application. It is completely unclear what else we were paying for. Overall, the experience is extremely unpleasant. I will never return to this hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast has a wide selection. One huge downside: the air conditioning didn't work. According to the reception, this affected all rooms. Standing fans were distributed. Since there weren't enough of them, they opened our window; otherwise, it would have only been tilted. I don't quite understand why this couldn't be repaired more quickly.

We were there for the workshop and felt comfortable.

The hotel is located directly on a main road, but it's built at the rear, so the rear rooms don't experience any street noise. A very nice courtyard. The rooms are perfect for a pleasant stay; clean, and everything is provided (refrigerator, safe, free water, coffee or tea, hairdryer, TV). Breakfast is full, but needs to be refilled frequently. A pleasant stay, in the heart of Berlin, and all of Berlin can be explored using public transportation. Parking was available, which is very rare, especially in the city center. A real insider tip for a next visit.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights. While the room was quite small, it served its purpose adequately. Unfortunately, the in-room Wi-Fi was not functional, so I had to rely on the public wireless connection. The room was also quite warm, and the air conditioning did not effectively cool the space. Additionally, parking is available for a fee, which I believe should be clearly stated on the hotel's website. On a positive note, the location was excellent, offering convenient access to key points of interest. The room was clean, met most of my needs and the staff was friendly

Well, the Leonardo... the lobby has been beautifully renovated and the bar also makes a nice impression, and now comes the downside... the carpet in the hallways is long past its best, and the paint on the bathroom mirror was chipping in places. The comfort rooms, ranging in size from 16-24 square meters, vary greatly. We once had a "large" one and were very satisfied, and the smaller one now was... well, a bit tight for two people. During the morning rush hour, hot water was hit and miss... it's a nice hotel, but it's starting to show its age.

About 10-15 peso minutes from Alexander Square. A sliding door with 5 cm gaps leads to the bathroom, which is right next to the bed. Breakfast was a disappointment for me. A lot to look at, but nothing extra in terms of taste. I expected more for the price.

The hotel is really nice. Attractive looking interior, nicely decorated and clean. Staff are polite and friendly but still very efficient. The room was spacious and very nice looking. The room was cleaned properly every day. Breakfast was very good with a great selection. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay in the hotel.

Our stay here was nice. Pretty close to Alexanderplatz (I think around 12 minutes of walking). We didn’t try the breakfast though. Maybe next time! :)

Well located hotel. Clean and well soundproofed room. Efficient service. Only small remark: the shower head is damaged and leaks when you take a shower.

Nice hotel with amazing breakfast!

Excellent hotel with a good location (although a bit far from Alexanderplatz, there is public transportation just a few meters from the hotel). The breakfast is very good, but it does not vary over the days. The hotel staff is very polite and helpful. The room is super comfortable and impeccably clean. The only inconvenience was the long line for check-in, even though I had completed the online check-in.

It was really a great stay, we received a very friendly welcome and the location of the hotel is also good. There is a tram station about 180 m from the hotel and it goes to Alexanderplatz if you don't want to walk the 800 m distance (which is quite a short distance anyway). We'll definitely be back!

The room was quite spacious and very clean. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was very good. It’s just a 3-minute walk to the tram. If I come back, I would definitely stay here again.

I had great time in the hotel. The breakfast is excellent! Would love to have more fresh vegetables (as to prepare my own fresh salad - there was no lettuce for instance. Only tomatoes and sometimes peppers). Other than that- excellent food and wide variety. Also many types of breads. Room clean, spacious and the bathroom very well designed and large as well. Missed a complimentary body lotion as expected in that level of hotel. Also - the shower gel wasn't refilled, and we had to take out the shower & hand gel placed near the basin. Location is a bit far from center, and there are not many attractions/restaurants or shops around the hotel. It was an advantage in the days we wanted to have quiet atmosphere though. The staff was consistently friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was great, lots of choice. Overall, we had a really nice stay and will definitely book here again next time we visit Berlin.

Everyone was very helpful, polite and friendly

Stayed there for one night. We were very satisfied. Parking at the hotel, but with an additional charge. (20€ for 24h) Room was clean and modernly furnished. The only thing that bothered us was that you had to walk a long time through the hallway to get to the room.

Room had a few defects. Infrared lamp defective because light bulb was broken, was not repaired despite reporting to reception. Broken shelf in closet. Cup was dirty upon arrival.

We stayed at the hotel for a four night break and we were very happy, the room was clean and had everything thing we needed, the hotel staff, in particular the reception were very helpful and friendly. We checked into the hotel for two nights. We really liked it and will book there again on our next vacation in Berlin. The staff in all areas were nice and friendly. It was clean everywhere. The breakfast buffet was rich. The hotel is centrally located, about 15 minutes walk to Alexanderplatz. Good connections also with public transport.

Great hotel, spacious and clean rooms, has everything you need and even a Hebrew channel on the TV, very good breakfast and the location for me was excellent. Not exactly on Alexander Vetz square, a quiet place and there is a tazmat at the exit of the hotel everywhere. Buses and tram m4. Juicing in heat

Room is a bit run down and time certainly left behind its mark with the visible stains on the furniture and carpet. They have probably seen better days. I felt it was a rather expensive price for the quality you get for the rooms. Housekeeping trolleys crowd the corridor, practically the whole day, so it wasn’t welcoming walking towards the room. Even though it is the hotel name, it is not located exactly at the Alexander Platz.

Great location with good rooms and some very helpful staff. Despite the very friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant, an incident still occurred that really upset me. During my short vacation I bought relatively expensive shoes that I might want to resell. When the room service was in my room, to my regret, they disposed of the box of shoes that was lying around. Now I can forget about reselling! I cannot understand this act and was very disappointed! For me it doesn't belong to prudent service!

Very nice, modern hotel, which is easy to reach. One disadvantage was that the parking garage was already fully booked when we arrived. So you would have had to book in advance, which isn't a problem. When we were looking for a parking space, we found one in the area. On the marathon weekend, water was provided in small tetra packs in the lobby. But there are also rubber animals and fresh water in the dispenser. An absolutely great selection at breakfast. Fresh pancakes from the vending machine, vegan alternatives - something for everyone. A minus point for the trash can that was on the vanity when we arrived and the toilet brush in the open toilet. I also complain about an emptied shoe box that was left there by the previous guest. A cool idea is the snack machine in the hallway, but it was absolutely dusty at the delivery compartment and full of dust mice. For the price please clean it up. Small points of criticism - but the positive always outweighs the negatives here. A class hotel with friendly, courteous staff. We'll be back!!!

The hotel is very big. The building is solid and the sleep is good. Bed is comfortable, the room silent even if looking at the main street. Staff is friendly. Location is good very close to Alexander platz and near Friedrischain Volkspark. Transportation is at hand (M4 tram).

I will definitely be back soon - this feels like home.

I was at the hotel for an event organized by my employer. I got a “barrier-free” room, but it was okay for one night. I also found the breakfast okay. Quite full and the buffet was a bit tight for me. The highlight was the fitness studio on the last floor, with a view of the television tower (pictures). The location is well centrally located. Personally, I would book something else.

In general the hotel is good, but they gave me a room next to a church and you are woken up by the bells that ring throughout the morning, check out is at 12 but they start bothering you at 9 am to leave the room, they even arrive and enter

I really liked the hotel. The location is of course central. The room is clean and modern and the breakfast was absolutely fine. It was tasty. The reception was also very friendly, with all the guest's concerns. Price performance is therefore top here. Gladly again.

I felt very comfortable at the Leonardo Royal Berlin Alexanderplatz! What is particularly noticeable is that the staff in all departments are well trained and very friendly. Unfortunately there weren't enough people in the restaurant and kitchen in the evening and that was clearly noticeable: the wait was too long (even though we had been warned by the service!) for food and drinks! The things didn't come at the same time, for example 3 schnitzels were ordered, 2 came after about 35 minutes and the 3rd about 20 minutes later. Similar to the drinks. At breakfast the walking paths are somehow not right... Maybe you can swap the drinks station and the sweet station? Because of the narrow space, people are walking around on their feet while getting drinks. If this station were extra, that could perhaps equalize. Maybe the problem lies somewhere else. Overall it was a very nice stay! The hotel is modern yet cozy. I felt very comfortable here. The snack machines in the hallways are a good idea! I particularly like the refreshment station in the lobby! Thanks for a nice weekend! P.S. Don't miss the fairytale fountain nearby! Unfortunately, it's partially covered in winter, but it's certainly even more beautiful from April onwards!

I really liked my room (mine faced the inner courtyard), it was large, bright and, above all, nice and quiet. I also really liked the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and I was able to sleep very well, which is very important to me. There was also a glass of free still water every day. The hotel has a very central location. It's just a few minutes walk to Alexanderplatz. You can also take the tram (the stop is basically in front of the hotel) or the bus. There is also free parking. The staff is very nice and friendly. I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is NOT SAFE at all. Recently I was guest with my friends and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Because one more friend came we changed the room during our stay how it was reserved before. While moving I forgot my fav blouse in the closet. I went to check with the reception immediately and the answer after two days was that they didn't find anything. There isn't anything in lost and found after two days. What a disaster of staff who are working at the front of the reception. I insisted to spoke with the manager and scheduled time and day. Of course he didn't appear at first time, but after double checking in the background of the reception suddenly appears a man who on my question to introduce himself said that he is a manager. They never had any explanation how the blouse disappear, say sorry, maybe apologies and even to offer and check the cameras, which probably are not even working. Be careful the hotel is NOT SAFE at all and keep your things, because if something is missing it is not their responsibility. I'm traveling often and all around the world, never before had this kind of miserable experience, even in far a way cheap and low budget hotels. Never thought that this can happened in Germany. BIG 👎 for everything which this hotel offers or rather say does not offer

Ist class Hotel with Great staff, asked for slippers as none in the room, 5 minutes later the slippers were delivered to my door. My room was upgraded because I'm a Leonardo club member and a fruit basket and drinks were delivered to the room. I've been a guest of the Leonardo Hotel group for 8 years and the service is exceptional

I could not be happier. Clean. Comfy. Friendly with super location and plenty of restaurants around. Big and not to soft beds and really a great and worthy breakfast for everyone. (Gluten, lactose..) We are going to come back.

Very clean hotel, 1.5 km from the city center (about a 12-15 minute walk). Quiet and well-connected area, with a bus stop almost across the street and the tram station next door. The food is quite good and the cleanliness is top-notch. Free Wi-Fi with a good signal. We loved it and will definitely return!

We booked the hotel for two nights, and everything was great. We were able to check in at 2:00 PM, and the staff was very competent and friendly. The double room was comfortable, with very good mattresses, and everything was very clean. Breakfast cost €16 and was very varied. Please book breakfast directly upon check-in, otherwise it will cost €21. The hotel is centrally located, with easy access to Alexanderplatz and public transport. I definitely recommend the hotel.

Hotel was good! 1 star deducted because we got a free room upgrade when we checked in and then we had to pay an extra €100 when we checked out. After a long discussion, no payment was made.

We didn't stay here so I can't give a review for the rooms. We visited the bar in the evening and found the selection of drinks very good and the atmosphere absolutely cozy. What is striking is the opening time of the bar. Open until 1:00 a.m. every day. This is not a given. Other hotels in the area don't have their bar open every day and if they do, they do so until 10 p.m. That's boring. So we went to the bar at the Leonardo Hotel a few times during our vacation.

It was not my First Time at Leonardo Royal Berlin. The hotel is in excellent condition, improving, looks young, and is well maintained. Starting with online reservations that went to a very user-friendly web interface, payment, online check-in ... Arriving at the hotel, the staff were very professional, yet friendly, fast, and efficient. The Room (247): is very well prepared, clean, and in excellent condition. Housekeeping: nothing much to say here, "Simply Amazing", thanks to my room attendant whom, unfortunately, I had never met. Breakfast has a wide variety that suits everyone regardless of his dining needs, I used the vegan corner; I have to say, it is excellent and convenient. General Cleanliness: Again, housekeeping is amazing. Hygiene: Generally very much accepted, only one comment, the complimentary corner at the lobby, more forceps are needed, some people were picking the complimentary snacks by hand from the jars.

I liked the elegant atmosphere and the impeccable service of the bar and the breakfast buffet. Courteous staff. Beyond all expectations. The gym is beautiful and the sauna is convenient. The pillows are a bit uncomfortable but I rested well. Excellent location

We regularly visit Berlin and this time we wanted to try a new hotel in Berlin. The location at Alexanderplatz sounded promising - you actually have to walk a little bit, but there is a tram stop right in front of the door. The trains run regularly, so you can get to the city center quickly, and Alexanderplatz can also be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The hotel itself is very cozy and well-kept, we felt completely at home. The breakfast buffet in particular was rich and well stocked. On Sunday morning the staff was very busy and could hardly keep up with the refills, but with a little patience everything was fresh and available again quickly. Thank you for the great service – we’ll be happy to come back!

It was a very nice stay in Berlin, the hotel is centrally located and offers a good starting point for exploring Berlin. There are many small restaurants to discover nearby. The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly, we were able to enjoy a rich breakfast, if it is missing or not there at the moment, you will be helped quickly. We had a lovely time in Berlin and will book this hotel again the next time we visit the capital.

Pretty bad really. We arrived on a Thursday, on Friday afternoon the door broke down and from that moment on we had to go through reception every time we wanted to enter, of course, but not before having to go up to the room and down 3 times with different cards before they showed us up. Until Sunday afternoon, another room was not offered, and when we said that we wanted to speak with the manager, that possibility was withdrawn and we were not given a couple of gifts that we had been promised as compensation. On top of that, the manager delayed us until we had to go to the airport with bad management and on top of that he hides behind his receptionists. He didn't even show his face. Overall, there are a thousand places to sleep in Berlin, don't take risks with this one because the expense of time and energy that such a situation entails is not worth it.

The hotel has a very good location. There was free tea and coffee in the room. Unfortunately the heating didn't work which was very uncomfortable in winter. Unfortunately the television didn't work despite the technician. The room was on the 6th floor and the fitness room was above us. Unfortunately it was very loud and the room layout was poorly chosen. But basically the room is large and clean.

Located 10 minutes walk from Alexanderplaz, therefore from metro, trains, buses and trams. Excellent hotel ☆☆☆☆½, clean, well furnished, huge TV screen, large room with kettle and coffee pods and bags of various herbal teas. Internal refrigerator to be used at our discretion. For every day we stayed we were offered a large bottle of water. Very comfortable and large bed, diffused lights. On the 6th and top floor there is a SPA which can be accessed for €5 and a bathrobe if desired. Very kind and discreet staff. Inside the Vitruv Lounge Bar and Restaurant, tried on the evening of arrival with a phenomenal single dish: breaded cutlet which in Milan is called Elephant's Ear and various side dishes. Excellent experience.
