I liked the elegant atmosphere and the impeccable service of the bar and the breakfast buffet. Courteous staff. Beyond all expectations. The gym is beautiful and the sauna is convenient. The pillows are a bit uncomfortable but I rested well. Excellent location

Recommended for Berlin visitors and business people alike. Centrally located, park nearby, nice rooms. The hotel is big!

We regularly visit Berlin and this time we wanted to try a new hotel in Berlin. The location at Alexanderplatz sounded promising - you actually have to walk a little bit, but there is a tram stop right in front of the door. The trains run regularly, so you can get to the city center quickly, and Alexanderplatz can also be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The hotel itself is very cozy and well-kept, we felt completely at home. The breakfast buffet in particular was rich and well stocked. On Sunday morning the staff was very busy and could hardly keep up with the refills, but with a little patience everything was fresh and available again quickly. Thank you for the great service – we’ll be happy to come back!

It was a very nice stay in Berlin, the hotel is centrally located and offers a good starting point for exploring Berlin. There are many small restaurants to discover nearby. The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly, we were able to enjoy a rich breakfast, if it is missing or not there at the moment, you will be helped quickly. We had a lovely time in Berlin and will book this hotel again the next time we visit the capital.

Pretty bad really. We arrived on a Thursday, on Friday afternoon the door broke down and from that moment on we had to go through reception every time we wanted to enter, of course, but not before having to go up to the room and down 3 times with different cards before they showed us up. Until Sunday afternoon, another room was not offered, and when we said that we wanted to speak with the manager, that possibility was withdrawn and we were not given a couple of gifts that we had been promised as compensation. On top of that, the manager delayed us until we had to go to the airport with bad management and on top of that he hides behind his receptionists. He didn't even show his face. Overall, there are a thousand places to sleep in Berlin, don't take risks with this one because the expense of time and energy that such a situation entails is not worth it.

The hotel has a very good location. There was free tea and coffee in the room. Unfortunately the heating didn't work which was very uncomfortable in winter. Unfortunately the television didn't work despite the technician. The room was on the 6th floor and the fitness room was above us. Unfortunately it was very loud and the room layout was poorly chosen. But basically the room is large and clean.

Near to center, convinient with public transport. Services good, room comfy.

Located 10 minutes walk from Alexanderplaz, therefore from metro, trains, buses and trams. Excellent hotel ☆☆☆☆½, clean, well furnished, huge TV screen, large room with kettle and coffee pods and bags of various herbal teas. Internal refrigerator to be used at our discretion. For every day we stayed we were offered a large bottle of water. Very comfortable and large bed, diffused lights. On the 6th and top floor there is a SPA which can be accessed for €5 and a bathrobe if desired. Very kind and discreet staff. Inside the Vitruv Lounge Bar and Restaurant, tried on the evening of arrival with a phenomenal single dish: breaded cutlet which in Milan is called Elephant's Ear and various side dishes. Excellent experience.

Everything was great, nice rooms, clean, staff very friendly, breakfast was just great. One small point of criticism is that parking is a bit expensive but the positive outweighs the negatives 👍👍👍👍

I recommend this hotel. We loved it, it's close to many activities in Berlin. The breakfast (buffet style) was very generous and good. The staff are also charming.

Fri.31.Jan.25. At 9:15 a.m. the door to the main entrance was closed 🤔 🌿🌳🌱🧚🏼🪷🌾🌴🌵 I'm disappointed

Late night on the 30 of January 2025 we were hungry so we ordered some food from a nearby restaurant .We forgot to order cutlery with our meal so we thought the reception could assist us on finding a fork. When we politely asked the lady in the reception if we could have a fork she bluntly replied “No we don’t have fork the restaurant is closed” with no intention on assisting us any further as if its extraordinary to think a fork was possible to be found in a 4-star hotel (which also has a restaurant and bar) even though it was 2am. We just forgot to order a fork and asked for some help . Let’s really believe that the whole hotel didn’t have a single fork she could at least act like she tried to find one or offer us an alternative option if there was any or be professional in some way . Also our friend who is staying in the same Hotel with us before 2 nights, same time at night with the bar-restaurant closed again , took forks from the reception so the guy before 2 nights was was, helpful the lady probably wanted us to eat with our hands as she didn’t care at all that we didn’t have a way to eat our pasta ! Ok the bar was closed ! Fine ! And then what ? You can not bring just one spoon for your guests and don’t let them eat by hands ??? I asked her , so what you’re recommending? To eat by my hands ? And she didn’t care at all . She didn’t even tried to go to the closed restaurant and bring one . Even a ONE STAR HOTEL could help you eat like human and not like animal . There is no excuse! NO EXCUSE They destroyed my last night , i suffered for one plate pasta !

Slight mold in the room due to damp windows.

I really liked my room (mine faced the inner courtyard), it was large, bright and, above all, nice and quiet. I also really liked the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and I was able to sleep very well, which is very important to me. There was also a glass of free still water every day. The hotel has a very central location. It's just a few minutes walk to Alexanderplatz. You can also take the tram (the stop is basically in front of the hotel) or the bus. There is also free parking. The staff is very nice and friendly. I enjoyed my stay.

Very nice and well-kept hotel with a very good restaurant.

The hotel is very nice, the location is also good. The tram stops almost in front of the door. We had a room facing the inner courtyard which was very quiet even with the window open. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is rich, there is nothing left to be desired. All in all a very good price-performance ratio.

We stayed for 5 nights; Location, cleanliness and breakfast variety are very good. The staff is friendly. There is no need to search for anything else when we come to Berlin again; We definitely recommend

Staff were really nice and friendly. The Sauna should be better and maybe with no fee. Breakfast was also good 👍🏻 For the double bed room, I expected a double bed mattress not 2 single connected. Overall it was a nice stay We enjoyed 😍

Not a special building on the outside. Beautifully and modernly furnished inside. Rooms not completely new, functionally furnished. Still everything you need is there, clean and comfortable. Lavish breakfast buffet, large selection. There are enough seats, spread across different rooms, which means the background noise is pleasantly muted. In terms of transport, the hotel is very well located. Bus & tram not far away. Alexanderplatz can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes.

The rooms were nice and big and bright. The furnishings are modern. Unfortunately, people smoke right in front of the entrance. You always have to go straight through the smokers and the lobby smells of smoke. The breakfast price is unreasonable (21 EUR), no breakfast can be that good.

Very good hotel with an exceptionally good breakfast! Super clean, very nice atmosphere, very quiet despite the street. Very nice staff! Absolutely recommended! Unfortunately, the beds were sagging and the pillows were either too thick or too flat.

Very pleasant stay at Leonardo Royal Hotel. Our room was very spacious and rooms were cleaned and sheets replaced every day. Although, it would have been better if more amenities were provided. The shampoo, body wash, and hand soap we're all identical which was a bit disappointing. Smart TV's in the rooms were a nice touch, although a little temperamental. Fair value for money overall, good for a short stay. Location is walking distance from Alexanderplatz and public transport is readily available.

Great hotel lovely rooms great facilities and staff

We spontaneously stayed at the Leonardo Royal Hotel for one night. The price for one night was completely reasonable. The rooms are very nice and tidy. I can also absolutely recommend the hotel bar. The drinks taste very good and are not overpriced for Berlin standards. The prices are okay. We'd love to come back.

The room was clean and the water pressure was good. (But when I changed the filter, the filter turned yellow and I was embarrassed.) I liked that the TV was big and had Netflix and YouTube. The problem was that the people working early in the morning were noisy outside and came in insisting on room service, so I was surprised... even though I checked at first that I would not receive room service... and the laundry service took all the money. ㅠ

More than positive experience! The hotel is quiet and comfortable, the rooms are really clean and the staff is always friendly and available for any eventuality. I really recommend staying at Leonardo Royal Hotel!

Perfect for us to enable us to visit our son easily. Staff were so helpful and polite. Breakfast was good varied selection. Sundays was not as good we went down later and the hot food hadn’t been replenished. I would suggest that the lovely toiletries in the bathroom were made a little easier to use I found it quite challenging to squeeze the container. Will be returning

Splendid hotel, attentive service, with water and tea and coffee supplied in the room. Possibility of checking out until 1pm, very close to public transport (tram, bus within walking distance). Friendly and competent staff. Really highly recommended

Fabulous hotel, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Friendly and welcoming. Our suite was lovely and large with all we needed Bar, restaurant have long opening hours with a range of drinks and food for everyone's tastes. 5mins walk to the TV tower but that suits us to be just outside the main centre as we came for new year and no way would we have got any peace in the hotel as its such a busy place.

Myself and my wife stated over new year for 3 nights. Great location, no more than 12 minute walk to alexanderplatz. The room was very spacious and clean. Mattress and pillows very comfortable. Shower clean and good water pressure. For a city break honestly a bargain. I would recommend. If your not in the mood to go out don't be disappointed the hotel food was honestly good for a hotel bar food. If I was to return to Berlin I will 100% return.

Overall it was okay but sad for the money as our room was dirty with glitter make-up, the bathroom wasn't clean and there was rubbish under the bed.. plus a window that couldn't be closed completely.. cocktails and drinks were all great but the food My salad was served with cheese even though it was ordered without..

It's just a great hotel. A few small things such as a shower head that sprays in all directions and therefore indeed ugly sealant edges with some mold. The shower was supposed to be repaired but no one saw it. Fortunately, public transport is close by because the city is big.

You have to say 20 euros a day for 1 parking space that wasn't even in the parking garage, I think that's a joke.

The location is great, conveniently close to several tram stops. The hotel is massive, so be prepared for a bit of a walk from the entrance to your room. That said, the room itself was very spacious, with good furniture, a nice bathroom, and a comfortable bed—we really enjoyed our stay. The reception staff were friendly, and the flavored water offered in the entrance was a thoughtful touch.

This pleasant hotel is located near Alexanderplatz. We had a suite because we need space around us. The normal rooms with 20sqm are quite tight. The breakfast is very good and there are pleasant seats in the breakfast area.

Highly recommended hotel in a central location directly at the Volkspark Friedrichshain. Almost luxurious, but reserved in style, noticeably friendly staff and a lavish breakfast buffet that is actually worth the price of 16 euros. And the best thing: you can come with your dog!

Was attending a conference at the hotel and had lunch and dinner for a week here. The lady at the bar(guess she runs the night shift) was very friendly and attentive to me and our group, which helped as we were out of towners. She made our experience great overall. The burgers at the bar are amazing.

A nice hotel. Room was clean and very spacious. The food in the restaurant was very tasty. There was also a lot of choice at breakfast. Unfortunately the reception could not be reached by phone. Overall, I am satisfied with our stay.

The rooms are very quiet despite being on the main street. The curtains are really dark, so you can sleep in in the morning. In terms of furnishings, the rooms are lovingly and beautifully designed, but unfortunately one or two deficiencies become apparent upon closer inspection. What I don't think is possible is mold in the shower or limescale, which can be removed without much effort. The breakfast was rich and good. Parking for two nights is quite expensive at €40. In other hotels you don't pay extra. The staff was friendly. All in all it was ok for a weekend.

Nice hotel about 10 minutes walk (or 2 tram stops on the M4) north of Alexanderplatz. Nicely furnished comfortable rooms and good variety for breakfast. The staff on reception were always polite and helpful. A great choice if you're willing to compromise on being a little bit further out (which of course makes it a little bit better value for money too).

This hotel was the best we have stayed In, and we have been to Berlin many times. The property is clean, and the staff are so friendly and helpful, the bar staff were exceptional nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast us out of this world, there is so much to choose from and it never runs out. We liked it so much we plan to return next year. Thank you Leonardo Royal for a great stay!

We felt completely comfortable. The scent in the lobby, the peace and serenity throughout the hotel. Rooms very clean and nicely decorated. Water and coffee machine available and also free 🫶. Staff attentive and very friendly. Breakfast 👏👍. Top! Something for everyone. ! Location . Terrific!! You can reach the Alex in just 400 m on foot. Price performance 👍👏. We'll definitely be back. We loved Leonardo Royal Alexanderplatz. The location is excellent, really central with a tram right on your doorstop. The room we had was big, beautifully decorated with a huge comfortable bed and bedding. The bathrooms are cleverly designed with the shower and toilet separated and the sink separate. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend. Loved that you could bid for a better room a few days before your arrival. Great little extras.

Amazing hotel with perfection on rooms and service. I would recommend this, however it is not in Alexanderplatz. Big plus for amazing beds.

Our stay here was a comfortable one. The rooms are nicely decorated and the bed was very cozy. Sadly the bathroom, while having modern touches, looks outdated with a sad color scheme and a very small shower. The location, while not directly at the Alexanderplatz, is walkable to the name-giving square and public transport. The staff and service however is not up to par. With a ev charging station listed on the website, the reality is a bit more complicated. For over 300 rooms, there is only one charging opportunity. We were told, even though our car was empty, to not load it overnight, so that other vehicles can charge too. Wanting to plug in the car in the morning, the parking space was occupied by a ICE vehicle. The staff however said that they don’t see a problem there and don’t have a solution. The lady at the front desk even was very unfriendly and unapologetic about the situation. Another staff member, later on, at least waved our parking fee, which bumps the service back up to two stars. While the bedroom itself was nice, i won’t see a stay at this particular location in my future.

Unfortunately, our guest was more than disappointed and we had to apologize.

I loved the Hotel, I intend to go back, but as not everything is perfect, it's a shame that one of the windows in my room doesn't have a handle, I noticed that something wasn't working with the heating in the room, there was cold air coming from the open window. Impossible to close it without a handle. This ruined my experience with the cold in the room. I hope they fix it today.

Clean hotel as a whole. The room is small, but clean/tidy. Toilet and shower ok, and clean. The staff is friendly, they can do well in English. Breakfast reasonably good and plentiful.

Freezer not working ı sad reception yesterday but making noting Airconditioning working very noisy like a track We have arrived 15.00 for enter but reception weited half hour and nobody have showed smiling face THIS HOTEL IS NOT GOOD I WILL WRITE ALL BOOKING COM

Great hotel. I felt very comfortable. The staff was very nice, competent, helpful and always friendly. The hotel and the rooms are very clean. It is very well equipped. The location is very good.

Top location, but unfortunately no 4-star service The location of the hotel is really excellent, but the service left a lot to be desired. Reception was often difficult to reach and a customer service phone number was nowhere to be found. Our room was missing some basic amenities which made the stay less pleasant. Given the shortcomings, I wonder how this hotel received 4 stars; it looks more like a 3-star hotel. However, I would like to positively highlight the restaurant staff - the employees there are extremely friendly and helpful.

I always enjoy staying in various Leonardo hotels across Germany. The differences vary of course. This hotel here in the middle of Berlin is always a very pleasant stay.

Everything perfect. We got there well, slept well, ate well in the in-house restaurant Vitruv and at the breakfast buffet. Easily accessible by public transport. Room quiet facing the inner courtyard, good size and design, air conditioning can be switched off, choice of pillows on the large double bed.

The sauna has been broken for weeks

We felt completely comfortable. It's a 15-20 minute walk to Alexanderplatz, or 5 minutes by tram.

Nice room, good facilities, a blanket and a bowl were also provided for our dog. We liked it and would book here again.

Nice hotel in a good location. The expensive parking fees (20/24 hours) and paying extra for the sauna (5 per person) alone are disproportionate and spoil the overall impression. In addition, a visit to the sauna has to be registered 1 hour in advance, which makes no sense at all.

It's further away from Alex than the name suggests. The room was large and clean. Unfortunately, there was no storage space around the sink in my bathroom at all, which made the morning routine much more difficult. Breakfast buffet was very generous and the service was good and attentive.
