Kaninchenwerder in Schwerin

It's a shame there's no lunch at Kaninchenwerder, even though it says online that it's open. That's really disappointing, considering it was so well publicized!

Unfortunately, the restaurant hasn't been open yet this year (according to a local), although it still says online that it's open. It's a shame, given the beautiful location. Otherwise, the island is a wonderful place for a short hike. A very nice new marina. The observation tower is finished. Perhaps someone should write how and when it can be visited.

If it says online that restaurants are open, I don't understand why everything is closed and there isn't even an information sign. Very disappointing if you're driving out just for that.

Unfortunately, this wonderful place in Schwerin is relatively unknown. A wonderful nature experience, and when everything is finished, definitely go there.

I wanted to go with a group by boat today. Unfortunately, it wasn't even possible to dock. The jetty that was specifically reserved for us was blocked by an uncooperative boat driver, and even with words and the police, we couldn't get him to move forward a bit.

Apparently, some people here consider the public jetty to be private property (permanent moorings including shore power from the restaurant) and the legally freely accessible island to be a private party and camping retreat. The city should urgently take action here!

The best restaurant in all of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The chef is top-notch! I highly recommend it!

Top driving school, nice people and super competent

We had a great day, the food and drink was delicious, the operators are hard-working and courteous, we would love to come back.

We do not share the bad criticism about the catering on Rabbitwerder. We had a wonderful confirmation of our son. The boat trip to the island was already a nice introduction to the celebration on the island. The buffet was prepared according to our wishes. Everything was fresh, you could taste it really well. Special requests such as mousse au chocolat for dessert were also fulfilled with obvious enthusiasm. Our guests were thrilled by the celebration and the warm hospitality. The only point for improvement: It took several attempts from the request to the concrete agreement. We raised this and got the impression that our criticism was being taken to heart. In the preliminary discussion about the celebration, we got a good impression of the tenant's ideas for revitalizing the catering industry. You get the feeling that someone with an expert background and a lot of commitment is there. We hope that the tenant will stay for a long time and that the catering industry will be well received. Keep it up, Michael!

We had our daughter baptized on the island at Pentecost '22. The place is beautiful. The new restaurant tenants accompanied us and our 35 guests well. Champagne reception Cake buffet with coffee Grill buffet in the evening Drinks throughout the day and evening Our guests camp on the island Breakfast The cook and tenant Michael worked very hard with his wife, prepared a lot of fresh food and even made the jam himself. Everything worked out wonderfully. The place is nice, some of the furnishings still need to be renovated, the innkeepers are very friendly, the quality is high, and the price is completely reasonable. Dietary requests of individual guests were well addressed. Camping is good. The only point of criticism: since the port was blocked by many long-term berths, the berth that had been promised several times did not work out. There was still another place to lie down on the jetty. We can only recommend the place.

Netter chilliger Ort mit Gastronomie, die ganztags geöffnet hat. Aktuell kleine Tageskarte, wird aber gerade aufgebaut. Kann auch für Feiern jeder Art mit Buffet etc.gebucht werden.

Tolle Location, immer für einen Ausflug gut.
