The room was the best part of the holiday. The staff was sometimes friendly. The staff didn't seem to mind parking the bus and trailer. Breakfast was good, but exactly the same for four days. Dinner was very simple, with a buffet starter consisting of only vegetables, mozzarella, and herring. Not my thing. The hot dishes in the buffet were good, not always hot, but they tasted good. Dessert was a struggle: a round bowl of pudding and kriek (cherry) for 40 people. I missed some fruit, a baguette with a bit of cheese; it was very poor. I wanted to mention this, since we stayed for four days.

It's a shame there's no lunch at Kaninchenwerder, even though it says online that it's open. That's really disappointing, considering it was so well publicized!

First time here – the first impression was actually good: considering the location and size, the restaurant is nicely decorated. Unfortunately, the tables were only moderately clean; they could have been wiped down more often. I was quite disappointed with the food, however. One pizza was served exactly as usual, despite a notice of change, and the second (Margherita) was simply missing the most important ingredients: it was advertised as mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil – in fact, the 32cm pizza only had half a tomato, some grated cheese, but no fresh mozzarella or basil. When I asked about it, the only answer I got was: "That's how we always make them." For an Italian restaurant, I expect a lot more. It's a shame, the look is fine, but there's still a lot to improve in terms of quality and service.
