After I saw the food that fell on the floor being put back on the plate and then brought to the guest... never eat there again no matter how good or cheap the food is..!!

Food was very tasty and service was very nice. Except that the service is a bit younger and should be a little more relaxed. Otherwise we were completely satisfied. There was so much food that I couldn't finish it. It was number 50 on the map. You can have the rest packed up. I will definitely eat there again.

I was there yesterday with my fiancé and I wasn't happy. We ordered “fish platter from grill” - the calamari was really bad. They weren't cooked properly and you couldn't eat them. My husband ordered “chicken pancakes” and it was delicious. I ordered “Bifteki” and told the waitress that I can't eat cheese and wanted the Bifteki WITHOUT cheese but I still got it with cheese. I didn't see it at first because I thought it was without cheese, but then I realized there was cheese in it and had a stomach ache the whole night!!!!

We were invited. Unfortunately it doesn't look comfortable from the outside. There was a terrace, unfortunately children from the adjacent soccer field were playing with their ball on it, which is just not nice. Only when we and another table said something did they leave. The staff is very very friendly. The portions are very large and also delicious. We hadn't finished our food. It was also packed up but unfortunately not the most important thing, the tzatziki:( so it was very dry. It has more of a sportsman's home character due to the sports facility right next to it instead of the typical Greek one.

We've been eating here for years. Whether as a couple or with friends. A family restaurant, everyone is very friendly. It's always delicious 😋 Last night (02/02/2024) everything was super delicious again 😋. The garlic bread and grilled pepperoni...hmm. Today, May 1st, 2024, we were here again for dinner. As always, everything was delicious 😋

We went to KALIPSO for the first time today and we really enjoyed it. Delicious food (the price/performance ratio is great!) and very friendly staff. Since my sister and her family often eat there, I now know that it is advisable to book a table in advance, as often, like today, all the tables are occupied. Since some of the generous portions were not finished, the waitress asked when clearing away whether the rest should be packed up. So there will be a delicious leftover meal tomorrow😋.

Very pleasant family atmosphere. Cozy. As always, the food was delicious and fresh! We are always very satisfied and happy to be there!

We called spontaneously on Saturday shortly before opening and asked for a short-term reservation. This was kindly made possible at such short notice. The food was super tasty and the portions were typically Greek big. The service was great, friendly and quick.

The food is typically Greek and is difficult to manage with very large portions. As a former sports bar, the facilities are clean, but rather rustic and simple. The service is very good and we really enjoy coming here with our children.

I ate here with my family a while ago. Even the entrance area was reminiscent of the good old days, just not of Greece. No matter - so we entered and were assigned a table in the middle of the presentation plate. Supposedly the others were reserved, but remained unoccupied the entire time. In the room itself, apart from two flat screens showing Greece videos, there wasn't much that reminded us of this beautiful country. The drinks arrived very quickly, including two ouzo that glowed in blue and green. Was there any adulteration here? Then followed a salad that consisted of a spoonful of white cabbage, a spoonful of red cabbage and some grated carrots. Only the olive on top told us that this was an original Greek starter salad. Was there any savings made here? The food reached 9 of us! Minutes after ordering, my son stopped the time. Was this just a warm-up? I had a grill plate that was so small that the meat was literally piled up on it. Quantity and taste were okay. Last but not least, a drink was charged that was not even ordered. Has anyone been damaged here...? It can happen, but it shouldn't! Conclusion: there is still a lot of room for improvement.

The price performance ratio is very good. The portions were very generous and very tasty. The friendliness of the staff was great. It was only a bit cool in the men's room. 😁

Wir waren heute spontan hier und waren sehr zufrieden. Klar, das Ambiente ist jetzt nicht umwerfend, aber geht vollkommen ok. Das Essen war wie erwartet reichlich und lecker. Das größte Plus ist hier definitiv das Personal. Unfassbar höflich, sehr freundlich, sehr aufmerksam. Kleine Extrawünsche (Portion Ketchup), oder Änderungen beim Essen, es war alles überhaupt kein Problem. Alles in allem ein gutes Essen, mit tollem Personal und sehr gute Preise. Wir würden wiederkommen, vielen Dank.

Eine schlichte aber schmackhafte griechische Küche. Wir werden gerne wieder einkehren. Leider entsprach das Ambiente nicht das eines griechischen Restaurant. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam.

Ich war skeptisch, da das Restaurant auf den ersten Blick von außen nicht den einladendsten Eindruck macht. Das ganze hat sich jedoch schnell ins Positive verwandelt. Sehr schneller und guter Service. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Gerne wieder :)

Gestern waren wir einer Einladung folgend zum Abendessen hier. Dass es sich beim Kalipso um eine frühere Sportgaststätte direkt neben einem Fußballplatz handelt, lässt sich sowohl an den baulichen Gegebenheiten sowie dem Interieur wiedererkennen. Etwas Dekoration an den Wänden wertet das Ambiente nur wenig auf. Und obwohl die Räumlichkeit sehr großzügig war, saßen wir mit 10 Personen sehr beengt. Drei kleine quadratische Tischlein zusammen gestellt boten nur wenig Platz für Teller, Gläser und Besteck. Der Service war freundlich und umsichtig. Das Essen wurde zeitnah nach Bestellung gebracht und war geschmacklich in Ordnung, jedoch kein besonders kulinarisches Erlebnis. Die Portionen wie so oft in der griechischen Küche sehr groß, so dass fast jeder von uns halb volle Teller zurück gehen ließ. Es wäre da schöner, wenn für den Preis mehr Wert auf Qualität statt auf Quantität gelegt würde.

Sehr freundliches Personal für Familien mit Kindern besten geeignet, und vor allem super leckeres Essen.

Angenehmer Grieche mit freundlicher Bedienung und guter Qualität. Empfehlenswert auch der trockene Weisswein, der im Gegensatz zu den anderen griechischen nicht geharzt ist. Ungewöhnlich ist, daß kein Brot serviert wird. Aber das kann man leicht verschmerzen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, sehr nette Bedienung...man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Schon seit längerem unser Lieblings-Grieche.

Ein tolles Restaurant, ich hatte einen Gutschein der leider drei Tage abgelaufen ist, als ich angerufen habe hat der Chef mir gesagt dass es kein Problem sei noch vorbei zu kommen. Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Abend mit meinem Mann. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen.

Seit Jahren mit Abstand einer der besten Griechen Magdeburgs. Da steht der Chef noch selbst in der Küche! Immer frische Zutaten, das Gyros ist außen knusprig und innen saftig, dabei nicht zu überwürzt. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend, davon können sich manch andere mal ein Beispiel nehmen. Die Karte ist vielfältig, nicht überladen und bietet so manche Spezialität. Mein Tipp: die Lammhaxe mit Bohnen. Wir sind aus Überzeugung regelmäßig hier, nachdem wir in Magdeburg von vielen griechischen Restaurants enttäuscht wurden oder mit Mittelmaß bedient wurden. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Die Einrichtung ist etwas rustikal aber das ist reine Geschmackssache. Das Essen war super lecker und wirklich viel. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch war das Essen super schnell am Tisch ohne lange Wartezeiten 🙂sollten wir mal wieder in Magdeburg sein kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder 🍛

Gutes Essen, aber leider keine schöne Atmosphäre zum "schön Essen gehen". Außerdem war die Bedienung ziemlich unfreundlich und bestand darauf, dass durch den Austausch von Gyros durch ein Bifteki (Grillteller) ein Aufpreis von 13€ gerechtfertigt wäre (Preis des Grilltellers auf der Karte knapp 18€) und fing an, rumzudiskutieren. Unangenehm.

Essen war ganz okay. Ambiente ist okay...

Sehr nette Bedienung, guter Service. Das Essen war heiß allerdings habe ich schon leckerer beim Griechen gegessen. Das ist aber meine persönliche Meinung. Preis und Leistung sind angemessen.

Service ist sehr gut 👍🏻 Essen schmeckt lecker 🤤 Nur die Location passt nicht ganz… (direkt am Sportplatz) Ansonsten kann ich es jedem weiterempfehlen

Tolles Essen,toller Service,sehr freundlich. Wir sind spontan eingekehrt und hatten eine schöne Zeit auf der Terrasse am Sportplatz bei herrlichen Sonnenschein und leckerem Essen.

Wir waren zum Geburtstag hier essen und das war wirklich sehr gut. Für mich bisher das beste griechische Restaurant in Magdeburg, und wir haben viele probiert. Wir waren zu 3 und haben mit Vorspeisen, 3 Hauptgerichte und Getränke 64 Euro bezahlt. Die Portionen war für uns zuviel von daher gab es nächsten Tag die Reste.

Dieser Grieche hat sich nach unserem 1. Besuch in 2021 und dann weiteren Besuchen zu unserem Lieblingsgriechen entwickelt. Essen super Qualität, auch alles sehr saftig und großzügige Portionen. Jedesmal ein anderes Gericht gewählt. Auch die Vorspeisen sind sehr schön angerichtet und schmecken gut. Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und nett. Wir fühlen uns immer sehr gut aufgehoben dort. Das Ambiente ist eher rustikal und es ist eher von außen unscheinbar. Mit 2 Leuten findet man eigentlich meist einen Platz, obwohl wir dennoch jedes Mal reserviert haben. Auch zu mehreren immer gut gesessen und gespeist. Im Sommer kann man super draußen sitzen, bekommt dann aber auch das Fußballtraining mit.

Immer wieder super gut, große Portionen, sehr leckeres Essen und immer freundliches Personal. Jederzeit gerne wieder
