Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch eine ordentliche,aber gute Portion welche zu schaffen ist. Die Mythos Platte optisch ein Traum [für 2 personen] Der Service freundlich,super , einfach klasse.

Tolles Restaurant mit super netten Mitarbeitern, das Essen kommt jedes Mal (wir waren schon 4x hier) sehr schnell und schmeckt fantastisch, ist frisch zubereitet und ist preislich auch top! Es lohnt sich, einen Tisch zu reservieren, weil das Restaurant immer gut besucht ist. Wir kommen gern wieder :-)

Wir haben am 12.06.2026 Magdeburg besucht. Die Stadt selbst hat uns leider nicht besonders überzeugt, aber dieses Restaurant hat den Besuch mehr als wettgemacht. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Als Koch bin ich normalerweise sehr kritisch, wenn es um Gastronomie geht, doch hier hat einfach alles gepasst. Die Qualität, der Geschmack und die Zubereitung waren ausgezeichnet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch den aufmerksamen und freundlichen Service, der den Abend perfekt abgerundet hat. Vielen Dank für das großartige Essen und die tolle Gastfreundschaft. Wir waren gestern zum zweiten Mal da und sehr zufrieden. Die Portionsgrößen sind angenehm, das Essen schmeckt gut und die Bedienung ist auch freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis ist optimal. Wir haben für drei Personen, incl. Getränke, Vorspeise, haubtgang und teilweise Nachtisch rund 110€bezahlt. Also wir kommen gerne wieder

Essen war ok. Allerdings war die Bedienung leider ohne Mimik/Gestik, kein Bitte Danke. Und haben 1 1/2 Stunde auf die Aufnahme der Essenbestellung gewartet, trotz mehrmaligen Nachfragen.

Ich möchte meine Rezension von vor 8 Jahren aktualisieren. Wir waren tatsächlich inzwischen viele Male hier und haben jeden Besuch genossen. Essen ist Spitze, Personal ist superfreundlich, immer wird auf meine Allergien eingegangen. Vor 8 Jahren: Wir waren heute zu fünft hier. Das Restaurant weckt im tristen Winter Sommergefühle. Freundliche Farben, die Gestaltung der Räume führte uns virtuell nach Griechenland. Das Personal ist superfreundlich und professionell. Ich habe wirklich viele Allergien. Wir haben gemeinsam geschaut, wie wir das richtige Essen für mich finden und mir geht es gut😊. Alles wurde entsprechend zubereitet. Die anderen 4 haben richtig griechisch gegessen und waren total begeistert. Jeder von uns hatte ein anderes Menü, und jedes Menü war perfekt. Vielen Dank. Wir kommen wieder.😄

Essen ist in Ordnung und schmeckt, es gibt aber weitaus bessere Griechen. Das Servicepersonal ist unaufmerksam und braucht wirklich sehr lange. Die Inneneinrichtung erinnert leider eher an eine alte Kneipe und ist heruntergekommen.

Wir haben heute unseren Schichtabend verbracht. Das Essen war lecker. Ich selber hatte nichts zu Beanstanden.

Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar. Sehr leckeres Essen. Mega nette und aufmerksame Bedienung. Tolles Ambiente, nicht zu laut und im Sommer kann man schön auf der Terrasse sitzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Griechisch essen wir nun nur noch bei Mythos in Magdeburg.

Wir haben in diesem Restaurant einen Geburtstag gefeiert und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Portionen waren reichlich. Besonders schön war die Aufmerksamkeit am Ende: Das Geburtstagskind bekam eine Flasche Wein als Geschenk des Hauses – eine wirklich nette Geste. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Trennwände sorgen für ein besonderes und angenehmes Ambiente. Allerdings wurde es recht laut, als das Restaurant voll war, was die Unterhaltung etwas erschwert hat. Die Bedienung war durchweg sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und gut organisiert. Insgesamt war es ein gelungener Abend, und das Restaurant ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Es war wunderbar, tolles Essen, großartige Atmosphäre, hilfsbereites und schnelles Servicepersonal, sehr empfehlenswert. Bravo se olous sas.

We were in Magdeburg for a weekend trip, and the Mythos restaurant was not far from our hotel. We absolutely did not regret our visit, as everything was perfect. I would even venture to say that it was the most delicious Greek food we have ever had. And we have enjoyed Greek cuisine many times before. If we come to Magdeburg again, we will definitely return.

For me, this is one of the best Greek restaurants in the city. I order from here regularly.

The restaurant was completely empty, apparently fully booked. We wanted to come back in an hour. All the tables outside were empty, and half the place was empty inside. Never again – we probably didn't fit the bill with four people. We'd rather go to the competition.

An absolutely wonderful evening! The appetizer was fried peppers – nice and hot and perfectly seasoned. The ouzo plate for the main course was truly excellent: plentiful, delicious, and typically Greek! Plus, the friendly service and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. You feel welcome and well looked after. I'll definitely be back – Efcharistó!

The Mythos may have had a different name in the past, but for 30 years there has always been a Greek in this place, despite the change in operator. The guests are often from the surrounding area or further afield. You can even find a place for an entire family at short notice without a reservation; if necessary, you have to wait a few minutes. Large, no-frills portions are served at wallet-friendly prices. And at the end you get an ouzo on the house. What more could you want?

The food did not correspond to the description on the menu. Instead of spaghetti with Metaxa and cheese gratinated, there was spaghetti with Metaxa and sprinkled with Parmesan. Visually it could have been pasta with pesto and in no way corresponded to the price of €12. When asked, there was no suggested solution. “The menu is from last year and it hasn’t been topped with cheese for a long time.” That was the end of the issue for the waitress. In addition, some of the tables were already covered, although some were still eating and after paying, they said that the next ones would be coming soon and we had to finish our drinks quickly. Unfortunately, the service and quality have deteriorated significantly. We always enjoyed going there, but that was definitely the last time we visited this place.

We had reserved a table at short notice and were there before we made the reservation. We received a very friendly welcome. The staff was very nice. The food was great, portions were large and the price was definitely worth it. We will definitely come back.

To quote some other reviews: Good restaurant with solid cuisine, very nice staff and the typical flair of a Greek restaurant. You can also easily get there by tram. 4 stars only because, like other Greeks, I missed a simple vegetarian dish. Meat culture or not - a vegetable stir-fry with feta, Greek spices and a generous dollop of tzatziki would look good on any menu.

If you want to eat there on the weekend, you should make a reservation. We really enjoy going there. The food and service are great. You will always be warmly welcomed there. Always happy

First of all: I only rate restaurants that I would like to visit again... Impressions are always individual. I also find a maximum of 5 too undifferentiated. I give a maximum of 10 stars, including stars for the kitchen. So don't be sad if it doesn't get a 5 on Google, I still really like the restaurant. The restaurant's motto "Greek hospitality" hits the nail on the head. The family-run service here is 100% true. Everything was great, a little good conversation was always possible. We felt very well looked after every time. Interior classically Greek in design, good room layout, great terrace in summer with lots of outdoor space. At that time, the restaurant offers everything that almost all Greek restaurants offer. And that's where we come to the evaluation. The map is almost identical throughout Germany. Once or several times a week the truck comes and brings the ingredients. A lot of it is bought in, and for me there isn't enough of my own craftsmanship. Not really your own handwriting. That's why the lower points. Many could do it much better and more authentically, but don't dare. Unfortunately . Some things could be that simple. E.g. Natural yoghurt with burnt walnuts and a bit of honey as a small dessert... But: compared to Germany, there are still big differences in what is bought. And Mythos does a lot of things right. Fries, rice top and meat well prepared. The starter selection we had was all good. Good mocha! There's not really anything to complain about here. A clear recommendation for MD compared to the city center. My tip is to make something more typically Greek, perhaps as a daily or weekly dish. and if not, it's a shame, but I'll still come back again and again. Jamas...😁

We spontaneously got a table as a family on Saturday evening and we were all thrilled. Chic atmosphere and nice service. The main courses were delicious and lovingly prepared. The Cretan potatoes are particularly recommended. Of course there is ouzo on the house and a tasty dessert after the meal. For me one of the best Greeks in Magdeburg. We'd love to come back. Very nice Greek restaurant. We come here for dinner irregularly but often and it is always delicious. We recommend the mushroom pan as a starter and the baked gyros for the main course. There is always a small surprise dessert on the house and of course the obligatory ouzo before and after the meal is always included. We will definitely come back.

We had reserved a table, were greeted very friendly and asked to sit down. The meal with starter was very rich. The garlic bread was pretty puny, the pork fillet was unfortunately too tough. Otherwise the taste was okay. The waitresses were always friendly and accommodating. All in all it was good. Unfortunately the parking situation is a disaster. We drove in circles a few times until we finally found something.

The food came reasonably quickly and everyone enjoyed it. The atmosphere was “typically” Greek and the outdoor area was also well attended. Yesterday the four of us wanted to spontaneously go out for dinner with friends and decided on Mythos based on good reviews. After a laborious search for a parking space, we were turned away right at the entrance at around 8 p.m. with the message that they were now only accepting orders and that otherwise that was enough for today. There were still a few tables free inside and everything outside too - it wasn't due to lack of space. But not because of our demeanor or appearance either 😅 Rather, people no longer felt like having to work. Incomprehensible! I'd rather go somewhere else where you can still appreciate (paying) guests and enjoy a full house.

Average Greek. The food is good and the service is friendly.

Had dinner on Saturday. When the weather was nice, we wanted to eat outside. Eyes were already rolling. Oh god, there are still guests who want to eat outside. The table was not set, even though the waitress said please go to the set table. Then we waited 1 1/2 hours for the menu. Waited over 1HOUR for food. And we are patient, but there was no response that it would take longer or anything like that. It wasn't that crowded that evening. Staff want to go. But food was very good.

Food was rather average. Gyros way too fatty and the ouzo too watery. I don't understand 4.7 stars.

Das ist kein Gericht, sondern superfettiges Fast Food, und es sieht auch so aus, als ob es aus Resten gemacht ist. 3. Statt griechischer Dolmades gab es die üblichen türkischen Dolma aus der Dose. 4. Übrigens wurde der Salat-Snack an einen leeren Tisch gebracht, lange vor dem warmen Gericht, und entweder man isst ihn hungrig, oder man erstickt an Trockenfleisch. Die Bedienung und der Service sind schrecklich, finde ich. 5. Am Ende, auch ihre Stimmen erhoben und überredet, Desserts für Kinder zu nehmen, obwohl keine Schokolade, keine Art - nichts mit der Bestellung zu tun. Meine Frage mindestens 5 mal gestellt, von meinem Mann wiederholt - wo ist die Schokolade Eis, Schokoraspeln - nicht beantworten. Sie beharrten darauf, dass wir es annehmen sollten, und wir brauchen nicht auf die Bilder zu schauen (wahrscheinlich aus dem Internet heruntergeladen?). Wenn Sie glauben, dass wir zu sanftmütig sind, dann schauen Sie sich das Kindereis an: Bananensplit (wir haben ohne Banane zugestimmt, weil die Kellnerin sagte, dass es in der Küche keine Banane gibt) und Coupe Danemark. Die Kinder wurden von zwei Kellnerinnen auf einmal so bedrängt, dass meine Tochter fast geweint hätte! Übrigens isst man draußen auf dem Mülleimer, das stimmt.

Had a spontaneous meal last week in the evening. Great hosts, friendly staff, typical Greek atmosphere. Nice, tasty portions, ouzo before the meal, a small dessert after the meal as a greeting from the kitchen. It was fun to eat here, we would love to come back.

Very good ! I tried the rice noodles with Metaxa sauce and loved it. Starter of sheep cheese and tzatziki. Everything delicious . The best thing I like about this Greek restaurant is that they don't serve too quickly. So (as with many others) there is no feeling of mass processing 👍😊💫 Thanks !!!
