Kalimera Restaurant in Magdeburg

Hatte Pommes und Schweinemeda und Gyros. Der Vorspeisesalat war leider nicht berauschend. Fand den nicht so frisch und dann auch bissel schwach zusammengestellt. Das Fleisch hingegen war genau richtig gelungen, auch von der Menge her war es nicht zu viel oder zu wenig. Das Tzazikischälchen oder Soße war gut, nur bissel zu wenig für das gesamte Gericht. Die Pommes waren gut. Der Ouzo den es im Anschluss gab war so mit einer der besten den ich trank war sogar gekühlt und ja. So ingesamt ein "kann man machen" .

Waren durch Zufall das erste Mal da und waren freudig überrascht. Haben uns gleich willkommen gefühlt und sehr lecker gegessen. Dankeschön 🩷

Empfehlenswert. Auch Jahre später gilt es weiterhin.

Wir wollten gerne das Essen probieren, sind aber leider nicht dazu gekommen. Trotz Tischbestellung standen wir pünktlich im Eingang und wurden erst stehen gelassen als ob wir nicht bestellt haben und nach ca.10 Minuten sind wir frustriert gegangen. Schade.

Fantastisches griechisches Essen! Das Fleisch war so zart und saftig, das Gemüse ein Traum und selbst die Pommes waren superlecker. Wir haben uns sehr über dieses tolle Abendessen nach der langen Autofahrt gefreut. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal!

Wir waren hier essen und rundum zufrieden. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich genau so, wie man es von einem guten griechischen Restaurant erwartet. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist der Retsina – sehr gut temperiert und angenehm im Geschmack. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und unaufdringlich. Man fühlt sich willkommen, ohne dass es gekünstelt wirkt. Auch das Ambiente passt: angenehm, sauber und entspannt, sodass man sich gerne etwas länger aufhält. Insgesamt ein sehr stimmiger Restaurantbesuch mit guter Küche, freundlichem Service und passender Atmosphäre. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Leckeres Essen und eine sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung

Essen und Service jedes Mal Top! Sehr gute Auswahl an (selbstgemachten) Vorspeisen, Salaten und Hauptgerichten. Sowohl zum Abends essen gehen, als auch den Abend ausklingen lassen einfach toll.

Gutes griechisches Essen. Die Peperoni und das Bifteki waren lecker. Die Bedienung war freundlich.

Das Lokal hat einen schönen Garten und ein angenehmes Ambiente, deshalb habe ich es gewählt. Ich bestellte jedoch einen 100-ml-Tsipouro, bekam aber 200 ml (nachdem ich nach der üblichen Portionsgröße gefragt hatte) und mir wurden 30 € berechnet, berechnet nach 20 ml pro Shot (10 x 3 = 30 €). Zum Vergleich: Ein 200-ml-Tsipouro kostet normalerweise 4–5 €. Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber aufgrund dieser Erfahrung werde ich nicht wiederkommen.

Zum Ambiente kann ich leider nichts sagen da wir online bestellt haben. Die Lieferung hat hervorragend geklappt und würde in der versprochenen Zeit stattgefunden. Leider war das Fleisch der Grillplatte kalt. Der scheint sein Essen nicht zu probieren? Sowohl die Panierten Champions als auch die Salate waren gefühlt völlig ungewürzt. Kein Salz, kein Pfeffer und über die Salate wurde nur Öl gegossen, vom Essig konnte man kaum etwas schmecken! Schade, das Essen war hier mal besser.

The location right in the city center on a main road would not have been my first choice. But the important thing is the restaurant and the food. And the food is amazing. The starters alone are so delicious 😋 that you could almost get full from them. But since my son and son-in-law are always hungry, they naturally got their money's worth with the main courses. The staff are very friendly. It does take a while to get your food, but that's not a criticism. I suspect this is also due to a lack of staff. We didn't reserve a table and despite the restaurant being almost full and being served alone, we weren't turned away. Not every restaurant would have done that. We would love to come back. We would especially like to try the inexpensive lunch menu. See you soon.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed today, we had been looking forward to a relaxing evening for two... unfortunately that turned into 2 sad faces. Starting with the Aperol which simply tasted like champagne... then we come to the starter, garlic bread that was so hard that I could have hit someone with it... Rolla... yes to my Rolla, what can I say, I took a bite and suddenly it stuck in my mouth, what was it? A piece of toothpick.. Waiter came and instead of an apology he said. "Yes, a piece broke off" I'll bring new ones, if it had been a child who got the plate, cheers meal. I had the 82. I actually ordered it with mushrooms and Cretan potatoes, none of them...there were neither mushrooms nor Cretan potatoes, my wife said I should let you know, but no, that was actually too stupid for me at that moment. If you can't manage everything properly, you should leave it alone. That was the last visit.

The best Greek food I've had in a long time. Authentic, tasty and plentiful - and very reasonably priced. Plus a cozy atmosphere and TOP service!

I just think it's a really great restaurant... which really tastes great. The portions were for their price, which is not a small amount for €19.90, but still a lot and you will be full. But where hasn't it become more expensive these days? I can only recommend anyone who likes good Greek food to come here.

Well, a bit disappointed at the beginning, we had ordered 6 people but there were only 5 and our table was promptly reduced!!! Luckily they understood and the table was enlarged again so that 5 of us could sit comfortably!!! The food was super tasty and everything else was perfect

We ate there because of the average reviews. However, we were disappointed with the service. Long waiting times and not even a “cheap” ouzo. I don't understand why more and more people save money because it attracts guests and satisfied regulars and is very cheap for the restaurant. So stop saving!!! The food was OK, not special. Meat partly tough, Metaxa sauce has a very mild taste without any effort. In the end there is a long wait and little for the guest for a lot of money. Not worth a trip, even if I live next door, I'd rather go to Corfu.

We were at Kalimera last night and loved it! The staff is super friendly, the prices are reasonable and the food is simply incredibly tasty and the portions are large. The best Greek food we have ever eaten!

Always a good choice to go to Kalimera. Price is right, especially at lunchtime 😃, you can sit outside and get service very quickly and friendly.

I was there yesterday with my parents and my partner. Very cozy, the food was really tasty, the service (woman and man) was super nice. All in all, we had a very, very nice evening there. We will go again.

The restaurant welcomes its guests with a slightly Greek style. We were greeted friendly and served. The appetizer platter put us in the right mood with delicacies. The gratinated gyros are delicious, the bifteki is huge (unfortunately a bit dry). Big portion. We were there at lunchtime and it was busy, so make a reservation in advance!

Starter plate for 2 people was very tasty. My beftiki was a little dry but otherwise quite tasty. A huge amount. Rustic atmosphere.

We were there today and are totally thrilled. The ambience was great and so was the food. The service is excellent. There are rarely such nice staff, especially when there is still a lot going on. I would have liked to give even more stars. We will be back definitely!!!!

My wife went out to eat with the girls today...everything looked delicious, but when she wanted to eat some of the tomato rice, she pulled out a long, black hair and told the waiter (possibly also the boss), he said a Sticky hair and took the plate with him....no apology just a laugh and left...of course the full meal was charged....Very sad that you are laughed at for poor quality...

This is now our Greek tribe. The food was great, the atmosphere was great and the staff were just incredibly friendly.

It was my first visit there and it was really delicious. I immediately fell in love with the tzatziki and the grilled pepperoni. :) Had a table for four, already reserved and available immediately. The volume was pleasantly quiet.

Went to Kalimera for the first time today. Everything was great and the dish of spaghetti with gyros and metaxa sauce, which was unusual for a Greek, was also very tasty, but I had to have half the portion packed for me to take home because of the size of the dish. The next visit is already planned. Nice and very attentive service. So highly recommended.

Four of us had dinner here on a Friday evening. Table was reserved and available to us immediately. The service staff was very courteous and provided us with drinks and food quickly. The lunch menu was dishes around 11 euros and more. However, the portion size is more like a children's plate. The taste was rather sober, as was the salad and the Metaxa sauce

We were here with work colleagues and had a delicious Greek meal. Nice ambience, nice service and sumptuous dishes that taste very tasty. As is well known, there is little choice for vegetarians in Greek. I would like 1-2 more dishes here. Otherwise we felt very comfortable, had a great evening and good value for money.

Unfortunately disappointed after this evening. Despite having reserved a table, we had to wait 15 minutes for our table, we were not offered a drink and everyone except us also got an ouzo as an aperitif. We were only assigned a table after we asked again. Unfortunately, service was also very average... people asked if everything was good, but not even though the empty glasses were visible and they asked if they wanted anything else. We only asked when we requested the invoice. Food, however, was very good 🫶

Coming from Frankfurt we visited their restaurant today. Unfortunately the atmosphere is very sober and loveless. The lunch menu was sufficient, but the portion size was more worthy of a children's plate. Unfortunately not recommended.

Actually not bad at all. There were a lot of people there for Christmas but there was quite a wait. The food was good. In terms of price, I think it's still ok.

Haben spontan angerufen und war direkt was frei für 10 Personen. Sehr freundlicher und schneller Service. Essen war echt lecker man, musste auch nicht ewig warten. Preis und Leistung echt in Ordnung. Kann man empfehlen wenn man spontan was sucht und auch nicht 0/8/15. 😉 Gern wirder👍

Eines der besten griechischen Restaurants in Magdeburg. Sehr nette Bedienung und das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Es werden nur frische Zutaten verarbeitet und serviert. Wir besuchen regelmäßig verschiedene Restaurants in Magdeburg, gehen aber immer wieder sehr gerne ins "Kalimera".

Dieses kleine Restaurant ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Es ist uns ein Vergnügen, dort zu sein und wir können bestätigen, dass alles schmeckt, weil stets frische Zutaten verwendet und serviert werden. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und nett.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe (15 Pers.) Essen und alle zusammen haben ihr Gericht warm und schmackhaft bekommen, so dass alle gemeinsam Essen konnten. Etwas Wartezeit für die Bestellung der Getränke war erforderlich, es war sehr voll. Kleiner Tipp für den Chef und Betreiber des Kalimera. Wasserflaschen auf dem Tisch können diese Wartezeit gut überbrücken. Das Essen war bei allen Klasse und wir hatten einen bunten Mix aus der Karte bestellt!
