Kalimera Restaurant in Magdeburg

I just think it's a really great restaurant... which really tastes great. The portions were for their price, which is not a small amount for €19.90, but still a lot and you will be full. But where hasn't it become more expensive these days? I can only recommend anyone who likes good Greek food to come here.

Well, a bit disappointed at the beginning, we had ordered 6 people but there were only 5 and our table was promptly reduced!!! Luckily they understood and the table was enlarged again so that 5 of us could sit comfortably!!! The food was super tasty and everything else was perfect

Food outstanding, service grade 1 +, ambience great. It was my first time at Kalimera, but if I come to Magdeburg again I'll only eat there. And the nice couple at the next table made the stay even more enjoyable. Simply great.!!

We ate there because of the average reviews. However, we were disappointed with the service. Long waiting times and not even a “cheap” ouzo. I don't understand why more and more people save money because it attracts guests and satisfied regulars and is very cheap for the restaurant. So stop saving!!! The food was OK, not special. Meat partly tough, Metaxa sauce has a very mild taste without any effort. In the end there is a long wait and little for the guest for a lot of money. Not worth a trip, even if I live next door, I'd rather go to Corfu.

We were at Kalimera last night and loved it! The staff is super friendly, the prices are reasonable and the food is simply incredibly tasty and the portions are large. The best Greek food we have ever eaten!

Always a good choice to go to Kalimera. Price is right, especially at lunchtime 😃, you can sit outside and get service very quickly and friendly.

I was there yesterday with my parents and my partner. Very cozy, the food was really tasty, the service (woman and man) was super nice. All in all, we had a very, very nice evening there. We will go again.

The restaurant welcomes its guests with a slightly Greek style. We were greeted friendly and served. The appetizer platter put us in the right mood with delicacies. The gratinated gyros are delicious, the bifteki is huge (unfortunately a bit dry). Big portion. We were there at lunchtime and it was busy, so make a reservation in advance!

Starter plate for 2 people was very tasty. My beftiki was a little dry but otherwise quite tasty. A huge amount. Rustic atmosphere.

My wife went out to eat with the girls today...everything looked delicious, but when she wanted to eat some of the tomato rice, she pulled out a long, black hair and told the waiter (possibly also the boss), he said a Sticky hair and took the plate with him....no apology just a laugh and left...of course the full meal was charged....Very sad that you are laughed at for poor quality...

Kalimera is just great. 😊 Ben the owner and his employee are very attentive and always have a smile on their faces. Very cozy there and the food is simply delicious 🤤

This is now our Greek tribe. The food was great, the atmosphere was great and the staff were just incredibly friendly.

It was my first visit there and it was really delicious. I immediately fell in love with the tzatziki and the grilled pepperoni. :) Had a table for four, already reserved and available immediately. The volume was pleasantly quiet.

Went to Kalimera for the first time today. Everything was great and the dish of spaghetti with gyros and metaxa sauce, which was unusual for a Greek, was also very tasty, but I had to have half the portion packed for me to take home because of the size of the dish. The next visit is already planned. Nice and very attentive service. So highly recommended.

Four of us had dinner here on a Friday evening. Table was reserved and available to us immediately. The service staff was very courteous and provided us with drinks and food quickly. The meals were really generous and very tasty! We liked everything very much, we will definitely come back when we are in Magdeburg again. Many thanks to the team

The lunch menu was dishes around 11 euros and more. However, the portion size is more like a children's plate. The taste was rather sober, as was the salad and the Metaxa sauce

We were here with work colleagues and had a delicious Greek meal. Nice ambience, nice service and sumptuous dishes that taste very tasty. As is well known, there is little choice for vegetarians in Greek. I would like 1-2 more dishes here. Otherwise we felt very comfortable, had a great evening and good value for money.

Unfortunately disappointed after this evening. Despite having reserved a table, we had to wait 15 minutes for our table, we were not offered a drink and everyone except us also got an ouzo as an aperitif. We were only assigned a table after we asked again. Unfortunately, service was also very average... people asked if everything was good, but not even though the empty glasses were visible and they asked if they wanted anything else. We only asked when we requested the invoice. Food, however, was very good 🫶

Coming from Frankfurt we visited their restaurant today. Unfortunately the atmosphere is very sober and loveless. The lunch menu was sufficient, but the portion size was more worthy of a children's plate. Unfortunately not recommended.

Ambience very pleasant for an evening for two. Waiters friendly and attentive. Food satisfactory and sometimes above my expectations. All in all, highly recommended if you fancy Greek 🤝🏼

Actually not bad at all. There were a lot of people there for Christmas but there was quite a wait. The food was good. In terms of price, I think it's still ok.

Sehr lecker das Essen und alle sehr freundlich

Haben spontan angerufen und war direkt was frei für 10 Personen. Sehr freundlicher und schneller Service. Essen war echt lecker man, musste auch nicht ewig warten. Preis und Leistung echt in Ordnung. Kann man empfehlen wenn man spontan was sucht und auch nicht 0/8/15. 😉 Gern wirder👍

Dieses kleine Restaurant ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Es ist uns ein Vergnügen, dort zu sein und wir können bestätigen, dass alles schmeckt, weil stets frische Zutaten verwendet und serviert werden. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und nett.

Eines der besten griechischen Restaurants in Magdeburg. Sehr nette Bedienung und das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Es werden nur frische Zutaten verarbeitet und serviert. Wir besuchen regelmäßig verschiedene Restaurants in Magdeburg, gehen aber immer wieder sehr gerne ins "Kalimera".

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe (15 Pers.) Essen und alle zusammen haben ihr Gericht warm und schmackhaft bekommen, so dass alle gemeinsam Essen konnten. Etwas Wartezeit für die Bestellung der Getränke war erforderlich, es war sehr voll. Kleiner Tipp für den Chef und Betreiber des Kalimera. Wasserflaschen auf dem Tisch können diese Wartezeit gut überbrücken. Das Essen war bei allen Klasse und wir hatten einen bunten Mix aus der Karte bestellt!

die typisch griechische Gastfreundschaft fehlt hier leider, man fühlt sich eher störend... was außerdem sehr unpassend ist, ist ein großer Flatscreen an der Wand mit Werbung, welche sehr grell ist und die Atmosphäre stört. Das Essen eher durchschnittlich

Gegen die Speisen per se ist nichts einzuwenden. Wenn man aber abends kommt und ein Angebot das sowohl auf der Mittags- als auch auf der Abendkarte steht, sollte man schon darauf hingewiesen werden, dass das am Abend bestellte Gericht 100% teurer ist. Nicht gut.

Нам понравился ресторан своей чистотой и можно сказать опрятностью. Типичная греческая кухня, на фоне греческая музыка. Персонал улыбчивый. Блюда приготовленные правильно но на наш взгляд жареной картошки не хватало до обычной порции. Мы втроём поели на 80 евро.

Leckeres Essen im Urlaub in Magdeburg. Nicht weit von Innenstadt entfernt,sassen draußen,haben dort 2 Standorte im Hintergrund und an der Straße.

Das Essen hat super geschmeckt, die Bedienung oke.

Das beste Gyros, was ich bisher in Magdeburg hatte! Fleisch zart und von außen knusprig, geschmackvoll und echt lecker. Ein Tzatziki, das ordentlich wumms hat. Pommes goldgelb und auf dem Punkt, sogar so Kleinigkeiten, wie die Mayonaise, welche oft vernachlässigt wird, war super und ein Markenprodukt. Dazu freundliches Personal und ein angenehmes Ambiente, sowie ein ansprechender Aussenbereich mit vorhandenen Parkplatz. Was will man mehr? Ich komme wieder!

Ein sehr nettes, und sehr typisches griechisches Restaurant mit einem gemütlichen Biergarten. Nicht ganz ruhig, da an einer vielbefahrenen Straße gelegen, aber das gute Essen und das freundliche Personal wiegen das mehr als auf.

Bedienung, Essen und ein Super Ambiente alles passt irgendwie zusammen! Man wird super nett empfangen mit einem leckeren Gemisch aus Granatapfelsaft und Ouzo. Wünsche werden klasse umgesetzt! Alles so wie man es sich bei einem griechischen Restaurant vorstellt! Vor kurzem ein zweites mal dort gewesen und der erste Eindruck hatte sich bestätigt! Es ist ein klasse Restaurant mit super leckerem Essen und netter Bedienung!

Das Essen und die Zubereitungen war unerwartet gut. Ausgezeichnete Qualität und ungewöhnlich gute Vielfalt.

Kalimera excelliert in Essen mit excellentem Geschmack. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und nett. Der Gast fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Es lohnt sich,immer wieder dieses Restaurant zu besuchen.Super! Wow!

Die Portionen sind klein im Verhältnis zum Preis. Des weiteren haben wir eine Flasche Mineralwasser 0,7l bestellt, diese ist unverschlossen serviert worden und mit 6,50€ in Rechnung gestellt worden. Das Essen entspricht dem durchschnittlichen Griechen.
