We were guests a while ago and felt very comfortable. The service was good, the staff exceptionally friendly and attentive. We also really enjoyed the food. A thoroughly pleasant visit, we'd love to come back! Thank you!

Yes, highly recommended. The salmon was fantastic and very reasonably priced; lunch was about €14.

I had cheese spaetzle, which were far too oily and the cheese was more like "spilled." The food wasn't good value for money either. The waiter was rather irritated and spoke very quietly, so I had to ask several times what he wanted. The atmosphere was quite pleasant, apart from the cigarette smoke.

The service staff is very attentive and friendly. The ambiance is actually very nice, too. But the food has deteriorated considerably in some areas over the last two years. Dry-fried cevapici, burnt veal loin steak, and black fried potatoes are completely unacceptable. What a shame! What used to be good…

The location itself is beautiful! I went there for the second time (for a birthday). But unfortunately, the quality of the food is really not that good. What a shame.

We were there in a group of ten people. The waitress was quick to get our drinks. They arrived after a normal wait time, except for one person who had to wait a full 15 minutes for their drink despite repeated requests. The food also arrived after about 45 minutes, despite what appeared to be a fairly normal occupancy. Unfortunately, one or two items were missing or incorrectly prepared. The order was then removed from the table. After the meal, the table was cleared, and we were asked again about any further requests. Everything was done rather hastily, even though the place didn't seem very busy. Afterward, we had to wait almost 40 minutes to pay. The food arrived warm and tasted okay, but unfortunately nothing special. My veal schnitzel was very bland, as were the fries. All in all, it lacked flavor. And at €25.90, it wasn't good value for money either. While we were sitting in the dining room, the used cutlery was pre-sorted in one area and used plates were emptied. I understand that the kitchen might not be big enough, but the whole thing wasn't particularly appealing. I was a bit disappointed with the staff and their attentiveness, as there was no real sense of hospitality. Unfortunately, I won't be coming here again.

We've been to the Kaisergarten several times now. The service, food, and atmosphere were top-notch. We were very satisfied and would gladly return.

The food and ambiance are recommendable. The drinks were either overpriced or the service ripped us off. It's best to check beforehand or print out the receipt. Unfortunately, this leaves a bitter aftertaste after a pleasant evening.

Before dinner, we went curling, which was really fun. Afterwards, we went to eat. It was SUPER delicious. One star deducted because we got the hot stones and the meat only arrived five minutes later. It was supposed to be cooked, but the meat took a little longer to cook. **** CARD PAYMENT ONLY **** Please keep that in mind.

The Kaisergarten Located in Karlsruhe on the outskirts of the city. Just a 10-minute walk west from the Europaplatz center. The Kaisergarten is a cozy restaurant with lots of wood furnishings and a very nice and large beer garden. The seating here is really nice, both inside and outside. The restaurant is very well-kept and clean. The service is good, and the waitresses are very polite and friendly, with a uniformly well-groomed demeanor. The food is good, home-style, with generous portions and a beautiful presentation. Everything tastes great. We'd happily return again. Highly recommended. Best regards, Alexander

We were there with a large international group (about 30 people). Due to language barriers, it wasn't always easy to assign orders immediately. The waiters reacted with open rudeness and unreasonable irritation. It was completely unprofessional and seriously detracted from the experience.

Contrary to expectations, the food was just average, we expected much more. Ambience in general not really a feel-good atmosphere. Some food was carelessly placed on the plate. Onion roast not medium rare, as ordered, but rather English. Price/performance doesn't fit at all. Big praise for the service. Extremely friendly and quick.

We were in Karlsruhe for a training session with a group of 6 and “stumbled” into the Kaisergarten yesterday by chance. Even though it was packed, a table was prepared for us within a very short time and we were treated like a prince, as if we had made a reservation. Great cinema! Today we visited the Kaisergarten again because we didn't feel like trying anything else. Today it was much more crowded than yesterday and yet a table for 6 people was quickly prepared for us. The waitresses were super friendly and beamed despite all the work. We were kindly informed that it would take some time because the store was packed and larger groups had just ordered. That wasn't a problem for us at all. And yet our food came within fifteen minutes and was of the very best quality. Everything tasty and fresh and huge portions. THANK YOU dear Kaisergarten team for this masterpiece. You really spoiled six boys from the Schleswig-Holstein Baltic Sea coast. I hope this review brings you more great guests. Keep going and stay the way you are. Just great! THANKS

A very nice restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. Drinks and food are rather expensive.

Second time there: Cevapcici were a disaster. 1st visit: Käsespätzle were very dry. Sheep's cheese in the pan isn't very special either. Instead of a small wheat beer, I got a large one. Staff friendly, but not extremely accommodating. There was a closed party in the restaurant that evening. Have to come back again to be able to judge properly.

Went there for lunch organized by our training course. Food was already ordered in advance. The economy was extremely busy and therefore it was quite loud. Food came super quickly, the service was quick and friendly. The food was OK but nothing special. But maybe it was because we came with 40 people and the food was prepared.

Very nice outside in the summer months. I was really unlucky when it came to eating. Cevapcici were still raw and cold. The service can easily be overwhelmed when there are too many guests. There are better restaurants in Karlsruhe

Cozy restaurant with a large beer garden. Balkan cuisine with home-style recipes can be found on the menu. Good selection, but rather difficult for vegetarians. The Kaisergarten is also popular with larger groups, and not just because of the quick preparation of the food.

The cevapcici were dry and firm, but that can be changed. Otherwise you are welcome to stop here.

I ordered a Wrustsalat assuming that it includes wrustel and salad (I’m Italian, so this was my straightforward conceptualization). As soon I realized that was a salad entirely made by würstel, I called back the blond waiter (literally 2 minutes after having taking the order) and asked to change it with another dish. Unfortunately the waiter told me it was not possible because the order was already being placed in the kitchen. So the options were: take it or additionally order something else. I gave them a chance and tried the so-called Wrustsalat. It was made of about 500 gr of würstel tasting really bad. I decided to order the lamb plate instead, and it was eventually tasting good. At the end of the dinner, I had to pay both the wrustsalat and the lamb. It was something a shame especially in regard of a tourist that was clearly unaware of the language of the menu (which was only German) and the specificity of the plate. In Italy, we treat our tourists so much better!

We were here in the beer garden in great weather. It was pretty full. We (5 people) were very good with both drinks and food served quickly. The food was very hot and very tasty!!! The waitress kept coming by and asking if everything was OK or if something was missing. So all around a great service!!!👍 The price-performance ratio is slightly in the upper region, but you can easily get over that given the good quality and the really good service. So, always happy 👍👍👍

The Kaisergarten is located in the western part of the city with a backyard. The food is really good. The service served us drinks and food quickly.

Were invited to the school enrollment celebration for dinner, food, service, ambience was great, there were large portions and it was quick too. We'll be back. 😊

A very nice restaurant with friendly service and great food.

I ordered liver with fried potatoes. Unfortunately one side was burnt completely black (came from the grill). This page has been “cleverly” turned down. Of course I spoke to the waiter. He acknowledged the complaint without comment. Haven't received any feedback either. As a chef, I would never have passed on such quality to my customers. My honor would have forbidden that. Drinks that were ordered also had to be complained about. D

Habe Leber mit Bratkartoffeln bestellt. Leider war eine Seite völlig schwarz verbrannt (kam vom Grill). Diese Seite wurde „clever“ nach unten gedreht. Habe natürlich den Ober angesprochen. Dieser nahm die Reklamation ohne Kommentar zur Kenntnis. Habe auch keine Rückmeldung erhalten. Als Koch hätte ich eine solche Qualität nie an meine Kunden weitergegeben. Das hätte schon meine Ehre verboten. Auch bestellte Getränke mussten reklamiert werden.

Nice beer garden with trees. Here you can tolerate it well even at 30°C. The meat from the grill was really good and not dry, especially the cevapcici. Unfortunately the fries are just mediocre. The service was good.

We were there in August for a family member's birthday. The beer garden is known for its beauty! We were excited about the food - since we have ancestors from the Slavic region, we were particularly happy about this meal offer! Everything was very good / the service, the drinks and also the food - with the exception of the Djuvec rice... unfortunately that wasn't our case. There were zucchini and eggplant in it, which we don't know at all. The fries were great - overall a very tasty meal

Not easy to spot from the street: nice beer garden in the back yard. Very protected even in the rain thanks to large umbrellas. Great staff. Recommended: Cevapcici and a Radeberger Pilsener. The restaurant with winter garden also serves meals outside of the beer garden season.

Nice beer garden, fast friendly service, but unfortunately the food is pitiful. Had meat dumplings, nicely presented, but with subterranean filling. The baker had more ingredients than the butcher. Soggy and completely tasteless. It's a shame, the location deserves better.

Good food but outdoor patio was a bit unkept

Der Biergarten ist schön . Was man vom Essen erwartet, ist Geschmackssache und persönlich. Meine Maultaschen mit Salat haben mir nicht geschmeckt. Mehr Brot in der Füllung als Fleisch, schlecht gewürzt, und auch der Beilagensalat war ziemlich langweilig. Da nützt es auch nichts, dass es hausgemacht ist. Das, was ich bei meinen Freunden auf den Tellern gesehen habe inklusive ihrer Reaktionen darauf, hat mich auch nicht inspiriert. Wie gesagt, Geschmäcker und Ansprüche sind unterschiedlich, aber ich werde dort nicht mehr essen.
