Great experience! Delicious burgers; very friendly staff! We will be back. The only small negative point was the coleslaw, which could have been a little colder, so it would be a little more refreshing even on warm days.

The burger could have been a little more salted/seasoned, but it was still convincing. The ambience is great, but there is no extractor hood, so you can smell a lot of food after your visit.

Unfortunately we cannot understand the good reviews. The Philly cheese steak was a total disappointment. I wouldn't recommend it, especially considering the prices. There are several other restaurants that make much better burgers in my opinion.

Great food and great customer service

The best burgers I've eaten in Munich so far! The American flair is great and can be felt everywhere. The seating is also super comfortable :) The service from Mr. Chris was also great. It was my first visit to Jones and I can't wait for the next time.

Super big recommendation, both in terms of the food and the service! Where in Munich you usually have to slide around on your knees if you want a table without a reservation, at Jones we even got a drink on the house as an apology for the wait. We've been there several times now and the food is always amazing. The Philly Cheesesteak is amazing! Thank you for such a great diner with heart in the city 🙏🏼

Simply WOW! The Big Club Sandwich was the BEST I've ever had. The service was excellent and the milkshakes are perfect ♡ the food came quickly and we didn't have to wait long for a table on a Friday evening. I would love to give 10 stars ☆☆☆☆☆!

This diner serves Authentic american sandwiches and sides. The only downside is that it’s located in a rough area - somewhere by hbf . The meals have great portion sizes and the flags are such a cute touch. I love the decorations in the restaurant. I’m an American myself and it reminds me of someplace back home 🇺🇸

Classic American diner with delicious food. The Jones is very centrally located near Munich Central Station. The menu offers a large selection of American classics. Especially finger food classics (chicken wings, onion rings...), sandwiches and burgers, as well as brownies and cheesecake. The service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is like a diner in America. Unfortunately the ventilation is not that good. It is cooked and fried in the room. That's why all your clothes smell like food afterwards. The food came to the table hot and was beautifully presented. They tasted great. The portions were very large. Definitely worth a visit!

The three of us spontaneously got a table on Sunday evening. The feeling was like an old American diner. We ordered the Philly cheese steak (with hot sauce), grilled chicken burger and a vegan burger. It was my first time eating a Philly cheese steak and I thought it was delicious. The portion was very large and just the right dish for cheese lovers. The grilled chicken burger is said to have been grilled to perfection, the vegan burger was rather unspectacular. Fries are frozen “steak” fries. Salt was missing, but other than that you can't go wrong with these. Unfortunately, you smell like fat after eating. This smell of grease clings everywhere to clothing and the body. Unfortunately the trigger is not as strong as it should be. Conclusion: Would come back again for a burger and dessert, but would prefer to take away. Otherwise the diner didn't blow me away.

Were visiting with a bachelorette party. Ms Lilly served us that evening. The ambience is really nice, just like you would imagine an American diner to be. The service was really super nice. She happened to notice that one of us had recently had a birthday and surprised the person with a piece of American brownie. The food was very tasty, there was no one who didn't like it. The diner is highly recommended!

You get a really nice welcome and the service in general is great. Very good ambience with suitable music. Food is also impeccable. All in all, the restaurant gives the right feeling of America 👍🏻

Nice shop with the right atmosphere. So typical old American diner. The burgers, hot dog and Philly Chesse sandwich were quite good. Unfortunately, the problem is that when the store is full the waitresses can no longer keep up. So plan for some rest during rush hour.

Cool experience in Munich, been trying to go for a while but can never call them/always fully booked. The general vibe and atmosphere is cool, they really nailed the American diner look. Food was average, not terrible, not amazing

Its refreshing to have a diner in Munich 💯 from my first visit here is my honest review: Here's what I loved... 👏The diner's interior had a feel of a typical American diner (I've been to only one of them in the US and seen them plenty on TV-my references). Apt music was playing. Juke boxes would have been excellent, but it was all good nevertheless. 👏Their menu is concise and has almost all the cliché dishes. Good amount of vegan and veg options were available. 👏👏The thick shake (vanilla) was delicious, indulgent, absolutely thick as advertised and would 💯 recommend. The onion ring sides were nice and hot, almost straight from the pan served with ranch. 👏Reserving a seat is recommended and it was pretty straightforward to call for a table 1-2days in advance. 👏The staff were nice and friendly. Here's what i felt could have been better... 👍I ordered the BLT sandwich and it was a bit of a let down. And I know it could have been better because the 2nd half of my sandwich was firmer and tasted good. The first half almost fell apart in my hands as I was eating. It had too much Lettuce and less Bacon, it felt like a salad. 👍The hot chocolate was at room temperature, it was unfortunate because it was nice and chocolatey, I felt like it could have atleast been warmer if not really hot. If it was something that was to be requested, I wasn't aware unfortunately. 👍The Jone's Burger which was advertised as very spicy (so much that we might need a glass of milk) was definitely not as advertised. 👍The air started getting unbearable towards the mid of the meal. I read through the few other non-5 star reviews to see that they also had the same problem- the open grill's smoke was not intense, as in you couldn't see it, but it started burning my eyes slowly and only built up. I will admit that this didn't affect my companions as much as it did me, but I felt like the ventilation/exhaust could be improved. Overall, I would 💯 definitely visit again for the unbeatable milkshakes, it was truly unique and their starters. Their bar setting looked nice and hip.

We had been planning for a long time to try the burgers here. It was worth it. The burgers were really delicious. The chicken wings with hot sauce (you have to ask separately for this ) were superb. The fries were different and quite good. The milkshake was also really good. The vibes of this diner were amazing. We enjoyed our time here. Must check out this place if you are in Munich.

We were here for the first time yesterday and were thrilled. The diner is stylishly furnished and offers a nice ambience that matches the theme. The staff/service staff were very friendly and helpful. And I can't say a bad word about the food either. It tasted perfect. We'll definitely be back!

A bit on the expensive side but definitely worth every cent. The food is amazing with kind waitresses and waiters to boot.

We were lucky and were able to take a table because another group arrived late and had reserved a table. (The reservation was also made, so everything was good) The selection wasn't just limited to burgers, the sandwiches also looked very good at the next table. Burger was very good and thanks to the atmosphere it tasted very similar to the US. The fries could be a little better and more. Service was very friendly and appropriately dressed :-) Thank you, we will be happy to cycle past you again and continue to feast our way through the menu

The best American dinner. The staff is super friendly and even if everything is reserved, they do everything to ensure that you still get a place. The owner commutes between the USA and Germany and here you can be sure that you will get a real, authentic American dinner feeling. We had the Philly Cheesstake and it was just like I knew it from the USA. Thanks for the super delicious food

The ambient was quite nice and unique for Munich. The staff was friendly and nice. I had the jones burger claimed to be their famous burger. It was quite bad though. The patty was quite dry and did not taste well. The fries was also tasteless. Our food also arrived quite late supposing its a burger place. In general food quality was very low. Also the air filtration was extremely bad and you were smothered with oil smell. I had to directly take a shower afterwards. I would say if you just wanna experience the old style american diner just take a milk shake. Music was nice.

We had to take a shower after dinner! The burger was ok, the apple pie very good, service also ok. BUT there was such a smell of food, you could not breathe properly. Our clothes, hair, baby, dog, all was impregnated with that smell. Please do something about it!

When I saw this, I was quite pleased. Unfortunately, I'm a little disappointed. The food was good, but not more than that. I expected a little more from a place that draws inspiration from typical American diners. The service was very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our food. It's a pity that the window behind us was open, so there was a draft all the time. I can recommend it to anyone who just wants a burger without too much fuss. Prices are good too. Make sure to reserve in advance! It fills up quickly.

The service was super friendly and outstanding. The burgers were good but not great. The amount of fries could be a little more. The prices are okay for Munich. And at least there was Mexican beer too.

This was a true representation of an American diner. The pin up girls on the wall and even the music they played just portrayed the kind of ambiance you would want to hear surrounded by. The food was great and portion size is very good. A little more salt would be good on the meat but overall I had a great time. Kudos to the serves on the Thursday night shift of 01/02/2024 they were soo kind and sweet towards us. I will defo come back again.

I went to this restaurant because of the good reviews, but my conclusion is sobering. 1) Ambiance The decoration is well-intentioned, but very poorly executed. You just randomly ordered these records from Amazon and then carelessly nailed them to the wall. The feeling has little to do with a real diner like in the States. The space was probably once a travel agency, everything is very compact (dining area, open kitchen, toilets). 2) Drinks and food - Tegernseer and Spezi on tap?! - No American beer? Budweiser from the Czech Republic? Very disappointing - The burgers look edible - The supposed steak was nothing. The whole thing is more like a baguette with a lot of sauce and something floating in it. I didn't get any enjoyment for the €14

Es ist sehr schön dekoriert, es gibt leckeres Essen und Getränke. Sauber war nicht so gut und es stinkt sehr wegen des Frittieren. Wenn du zu spät gehst ohne Reservierung, kriegst keinen Platz.

Das beste Restaurant in ganz München! Essen schmeckt super und das Personal ist immer freundlich. Wer amerikanischen Flair sucht ist hier gut aufgehoben. Komme immer und oft gerne hierher. Ihr seid die besten! Wie eine kleine Familie!

Coll place with fun atmosphere. The food was pretty good, I tried the cheese steak sandwich. Also woher die Bewertungen kommen ist mir ein Rätsel. Milchshake war nicht sonderlich gut - für eine Kugel Eiscreme, bisschen Milch und fertig Sprühsahne ist der Preis zu hoch. Burger patty war fertiges aufgetautes Industrieprodukt. Der Burger war wirklich eklig! Nur das Club Sandwich und die Fritteusen Vorspeisen waren gut.
