Best burgers in town, always delicious! 🔥

It's good in principle, but the wait is simply too long to then hear that they're out of beef and you have to take chicken.

On November 26, 2025, four of us went for burgers. Three out of four people showed signs of food poisoning either immediately after our visit or shortly thereafter. Beware, hygiene standards and cold chain maintenance are clearly not being observed here.

Incredibly delicious! The smash burger was a symphony! The fries were sinful! The perfect cheat meal! Don't even try to resist!

Great food, super tasty, sadly always overcrowded (though this speaks for the restaurant) which leads to long waiting times at the door. The restaurant should also offer more and also price friendlier beverages

The burgers are incredibly good every time – unfortunately, your current service and queuing concept is ruining your business. On a Friday evening, there was a super long queue outside, empty tables inside, and very slow service at the door for no apparent reason. This leads to a lot of frustration for the customers, and there's definitely room for improvement.

Diggah I paid 16€ for a burger and a specialty. Yani, you guys rolled your prices. The burger was as small as my balls. I went to the MCS afterwards and was really full.

The burger itself was tasty, but the buns didn't really go with it as they were quite sweet, so the flavor of the meat didn't really come through. The garlic fries with parmesan were unfortunately not tasty; they were too dry, so I would only recommend the burger, or if there are two of you, share regular fries. I had the vanilla milkshake, and it was really nothing special and overpriced at €8.50.

Unfortunately, the sauces of our burgers were swapped, so my girlfriend could only eat half of her now spicy burger

The burgers weren't bad, but nothing special either. The price is too high without fries in my opinion. Waiting in line is just further proof that all these Instagram food bloggers have no clue and just call it "the best XY in town." The place is a bit overhyped. You could certainly argue about the atmosphere, but I couldn't find anything appealing about the concept.

Burger - Basic Smash: - Patties are nicely smashed, but could use a bit more flavor. - Bun is a bit medium. - Sauce could be better, but pickles were good. Atmosphere: It's very crowded, loud, and hot there, and you'll have to wait a long time.

It was outrageous how long we had to wait. The concept is just so wrong. You can't offer two things and then give 85% of the seats to the Mexican restaurant. Simply a bad concept.

Fairfax Express is a gem! The smash burgers were juicy and packed with flavor, the tenders were crispy, and the mac & cheese balls were spot on. Loved that they serve Fritz-Kola and offer tasty housemade drinks. Staff were super friendly and welcoming—great food and great vibes all around. Highly recommend!

About a 20-minute wait late Friday night. I tried two burgers. The smashed burger was absolutely mediocre, but the chicken sandwich was outstanding and made up for anything negative, although the chicken was a bit dry.

Excellent food. Been multiple times. Extremely long wait times though. Be prepared whether you're dining in or taking away. I keep trying to find a quieter time to visit without luck.

Excellent! The chicken pieces are just like you'd get at a good US BBQ restaurant, simply outstanding! The mac and cheese balls are also interesting. The fries are excellent. Only the mayo wasn't that great. You should definitely try it; you certainly don't find something like this in every city here.

This was my third time visiting, and I wanted to share my latest experience along with my overall comments. I ordered the 3-piece chicken "tender" combo with fries, ketchup, and a dip of my choice. Chicken Tender: They only serve chicken breast, which was as dry as sand. Chicken breast itself isn't very tasty to begin with, and it was borderline inedible due to its dryness. The breading was relatively tasty, but it just falls off the chicken. You can choose different heat levels, from mild to very hot. This time, I got "hot," and they simply brush nearly dry pepper on the chicken after frying, which only made the dryness worse. My overall rating for the chicken tenders is a 2, so I don't recommend them at all. Fries: To be honest, I don't care much about fries, but these were solid—crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Their ranch sauce was tangy and tasty, but nothing special. Note from my previous visits: If you do go there to eat fried chicken, their Nashville chicken sandwich is way better due to its sauce and coleslaw, which helps with chicken's dryness. Overall, it's still one of the better chicken places in Munich, which honestly says a lot about the Munich food scene xx. Bon appétito!

Guys these are the best chicken burgers you can find probably in all of Germany. I got Nashville hot tenders and my friend the korean gochujang burger and both were insanely good. I would get the korean burger next time because those pickled vegetables and the unique taste. The only thing I would change is to change my spice level from spicy to medium but seriously so good. The parmesan garlic fries and tater tots were also so delicious. Definitely will be coming back here again. The owner was also very kind and gave us amazing service. Atmosphere is very nice in Gaststeig but was too hot during peak summer, that's why only 4/5. Looking forwards to the next time!

The burgers are delicious and the atmosphere is hip. The moist bun and salty chicken patty remind me of a cold beer, but unfortunately, there is no cold draft beer here ㅠㅠ And it is too hot inside ㅠ So I will come back to eat outside after the sun goes down^^

The "Nashville Hot" burger is highly recommended—I was sweating like I was filing my tax return! Crispy, spicy, and still so good that between bites, I considered writing my will. The fries were divine, and the sauces almost dried my tears. If you don't lose a little dignity while eating, you're not doing it right.

We enjoyed the chicken sandwich and the fries. The mayo that came with it is also highly recommended. We were disappointed with the Smash Burger, which we found to be too dry and the onions didn't come through.

I don't know how the burger tastes yet, but I had to wait 30 minutes in line in front of the store and 20 minutes for the food

The burgers are ok but waiting in the line for so long is really unnecessary. We waited half an hour to order while all the tables were empty. Then waited another 20 mins to receive the food to our table. That was a really bad example of self-service.

The visit to Fairfaxx was definitely worth it! The burgers were really tasty – juicy, well seasoned and made with high quality ingredients. Particularly noteworthy are the pastrami fries – absolute recommendation! The selection of American drinks was also cool and rounded off the experience. Unfortunately the prices are a bit high, so I would have liked cheaper burgers and sides. But if you like really good burgers, you should definitely stop by here.

My 3rd time here. The fries with garlic and Parmesan had much more oil than before, the only thing that I didn’t liked. And classic burger so far is the best one. Chipotle is spicy.

We were there for the first time yesterday and tested the smash burgers - really crispy, spicy and with high-quality ingredients. There were also pastrami fries, which were really special and super tasty - I've never eaten them like that before. I also thought the small selection of American soft drinks was great, it rounded off the overall package really well. I only knew Fairfax for their chicken sandwiches (also a 10/10!), but now I'm totally sold on their smash burgers too. For me one of the best burgers in Munich! The only negative point: the prices are already high – e.g. E.g. €13 for a bacon burger, €16 for the pastrami fries, €4 for a soft drink. The three of us paid around €70 - quality has its price, but something cheaper would be desirable.

I've been to Fairfax several times now and every time everything has been delicious! The crispy chicken burgers 12/10, the banana milkshake 12/10 and the fries 10/10. Simply recommended, you have to try it yourself!

Fairfax Expresser is a real insider tip! I particularly liked the different chicken burgers - each burger is unique and is prepared with fresh, juicy chicken and perfectly balanced ingredients. The selection is large and the taste experiences are simply extraordinary. If you are looking for delicious and varied chicken burgers, you should definitely try this place. I will definitely come back!

Smashburger was good, but the chicken sandwich was best - very tasty, juicy and crispy. There tended to be a bit too much mayo on everything and unfortunately the mac and cheese balls were already out. Would definitely come back again to try other burgers and the mac and cheese balls.

Probably the best burger place in Munich. Definitely when you consider the chicken burgers. The thick and crispy breading is just perfect. However, the Smashed Burger doesn't have to hide behind it and is worth a visit in itself.

I ordered the Nashville Hot Burger It was okay, but I honestly expected a little more. The fries were delicious, the service was nice, and the location at Rosenheimer Platz is really great. What was a bit annoying: On the day we were there, there was extremely loud music playing in a club next door, which was annoying. I also didn't think it was so cool that you could only pay by card and cash wasn't possible. Overall it was fine.

Unfortunately the meat was already sold out at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday...

Great Smash Burgers and Chicken Sandwiches - would recommend the Tater Tots as a side!

This is one U.S. burger joint to the core. It offers the basics: smashed burgers and chicken sandwichs. Basics but amazing. The place is opened only in the evenings and there s always a crowd, but it s totally worth it. Pass by for a pure american dinner burger experience with U.S. soda on the side to make the whole experience great.

The burgers are freshly prepared and tasted good yummy. The fries taste like standard fries. Unfortunately the food is very, very salty. You could immediately see the salt on the burger meat. Unfortunately, the concept of the store doesn't convince me and it reminds me a bit of a fast food chain. If you want to order something you have to stand in line and pay in advance and then find a place at one of the large tables. You then have to get alcoholic drinks yourself from a separate bar. The store doesn't invite you to linger, but rather, as already mentioned, it reminds you of a fast food restaurant where you can quickly get out again. I find the food too expensive for this purpose. But the shop is suitable for a quick and tasty meal (regardless of the long waiting time to even get inside and the waiting time until you can order and get your food)

Absolutely overrated, everything was extremely salty from smash burgers to fries. I can't say anything about the chicken, but I'll come back to test it.

Best burger in town, whether chicken or smash burger. Great monthly specials. Super friendly service. However, it is too loud for me to eat inside. But the long waiting times are worth it for the food. I would be happy if you could order online for pickup at some point to shorten the waiting times.

The place is really nice, food is well presented and they have some original and good tasting drinks; however the food is too salty, greasy and the burgers have Little ingredients. The water at the bar is a bit overpriced: 6€ for 0,75L.

The Burger is good, nothing crazy though. The service was insanely slow- they took our order while we’re standing in line outside and still they only managed to give us our food an hour after we sat down. It’s almost as if they are doing it on purpose to have the line outside for the hype…

you have to wait a line to order but it is very much worth it. It was the best smash burger I’ve ever had. I got the bacon smash. The white chocolate & pistachio milkshake was also really good.

Unfortunately completely overrated. The meat was totally over salted and was not of good quality. Mac and cheese balls, on the other hand, tasted like nothing.

It’s simply a 10/10, amazing taste, helpful ordering suggestions, clean and fast!!! What else can you ask for.

More “hyped” than good, unfortunately. We waited in line outside for longer, about 30 minutes, like everyone else. We were then assigned our seats, which are benches where you sit with other people. The food selection is not particularly large. The only highlight were the fries with garlic and parmesan, sounds dry but the garlic must have been in the pesto (parsley or something else?), it was really tasty. My burger was large but very dry, without tomatoes, onions or other things a burger lacks the typical quality. It was just a lot, but not particularly tasty. The chicken burgers consist of a really large chicken breast fillet, which can dry out quickly, and quite a bit. The portions were quite large, but unfortunately nothing special. After eating, sitting on the bench, you actually leave the restaurant quite quickly because the atmosphere doesn't invite you to leave. You can't sit comfortably and chat in the large canteen.

You have to wait for 30 minutes to get your mediocre burger. The place smells very bad with oil and it's noisy as there's club just behind the door.

Visiting the Fairfax Express First of all, props to the staff who are really cool, nice and accommodating! The bacon smash burgers are good but not mindblowing either. We ate our way through the entire map. What was really the finest were the chicken tenders. Unfortunately, the milk shakes are only mainstream. As far as the fries are concerned you can't complain, good standard fries. I would have expected more from the Mac & Cheese Balls. All in all, I would definitely check in with Express again for the chicken tenders! The price is absolutely justified! It's best to see for yourself and just go there and try the food. Tastes are different and that is my personal impression.

Well, I still can't understand the hype now that I've tried smash burgers at the best ones, patties fried to death that only taste burnt 🫣 my opinion, the burger has to have drops of all the juice from the meat, so that was my last time, But thanks anyway, definitely for students or young people who have no idea, good alternative to mc&co Ah yes, two burgers and two fries for just over €40, not a bargain either

I can really recommend the vegan crunchy chicken burger! Very delicious. The meat dishes we tried were really bad. Especially the pastrami fries. Also avoid the garlic fries.

If you're looking for a very good smash burger, you've come to the right place. There is no better for me. Chicken sandwiches are also great, as are the tater tots! Always happy to come back!

I was excited to try this American-style burger after hearing and seeing so many good reviews. Honestly, it was a bit underwhelming. I’m not saying it’s bad – it was good, but not as amazing as the reviews made it seem. I tried their chicken 🍗 burger this time, so I might give it another chance and try their beef burger 🍔 next time.

Our favourite burger place in Munich! There's usually a line so come when it opens (6pm). Service is always prompt though. We always get the same order cos it's that good! Recommendations: Nashville Hot burger (only for those who can take the heat), tater tots, classic smash burger, chipotle burger

Its a MUST when ur in town. The burgers are so juicy and tasty. By 7pm theres a line to wait but it moves. The staff are nice and easy going.

Best burger in Munich! Situated within a hubbub of the city, great atmosphere and vibes. Good service with helpful staff. Now, the food. INCREDIBLE. Truly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, crispy patties, great sauces and options for specials - they had everything. Don’t miss the garlic parm fries or tater tots too! Honestly can’t wait to come back and will be telling everyone how much we loved it here!
