Great atmosphere and super nice music

A Hard Rock Cafe like you'd expect from anywhere in the world, with outdoor seating and not-too-loud music inside. Our food was good. Unfortunately, the meat on my burger wasn't very warm. Our server, Julia, was very helpful and super friendly. Thank you again!

The food wasn't appetizing; the burger was still pink in the middle and had absolutely no sauce, drier than the desert. There was no cheese to be seen. The drinks were very watery and tasted simply sad. The fries tasted absolutely amazing, but there were fewer than enough of them. Service was okay. The atmosphere vanished as soon as the food arrived. The ice cream was amazing, with a really good play dough flavor 🤗. 2/10; wouldn't recommend it if you want something with flavor!!

The restaurant was very loud, and the service was terrible, especially the cashier. There were 15 of us, and it took over 30 minutes to cash out. There were multiple miscalculations, incorrect money was given out, and after the second person, the lady couldn't give any more change... A disaster. The order is still written down by hand...

We always visit Hard Rock Cafés when traveling in Europe, but the Munich location was absolutely awful. The waitress was extremely rude, unfriendly, and even made faces because we didn’t order more. No real service, no hospitality, just a terrible experience. Definitely the worst Hard Rock we’ve ever been to.

We are absolutely thrilled with the Hard Rock Cafe Munich. What an incredibly great location. A delicious selection of excellent food, and very friendly staff. Since I travel to America several times on business, I immediately felt at home. I am the manager of a successful Munich rock band and had asked if we could introduce ourselves. Our sound and our atmosphere fit perfectly into the atmosphere. Everyone was thrilled, but to date I still haven't received an appointment or any friendly feedback. I wish I would be contacted properly, and what can I say? I promise a full house, a great atmosphere, and a great sound. We now play on various international radio stations, among other things. We have many gigs in the new year. The Hard Rock Cafe is still missing and fits perfectly with our motto: Good rock, great musicians. We love the atmosphere and feel the passion for music. We will also make music history and would be delighted if we could captivate people with our music at the Hard Rock Cafe and if we were given the chance to play there. Our numerous fans come from all over the world and also love the HardRockCafe. They would go crazy if we played there. Let's talk... We promise you a magical evening and unforgettable moments. WHO thinks will get real Hard Rock experience will be harshly disappointed

With an excellent atmosphere for rock fans, it's a must-visit to learn about the curiosities of music lovers by looking at the many iconic objects hanging on the walls. The food is good... it's not delicacies, but it's not bad. I recommend the wings with the hottest sauce; it's quite a challenge if you manage to eat them. I recommend booking a room in the chapel, a soundproof room if you don't want to listen to the music at full volume. The service was a bit terse... but that's quite common here in Munich. If you say it's your birthday, they'll give you a free dessert...

A traditional Hard Rock Café. Restaurant, cocktail bar, and shop. Everyone is super friendly. Highly recommended for rock fans and those aspiring to become one.

Great shop right next to the Hofbräuhaus

We were really disappointed; it was just a money-making scheme. You couldn't make song requests. Then we asked if the boss could make an alien request, and the answer was, "Unfortunately, that's not possible; you'll get a free drink instead." Forgot about it... They said we were too drunk, even though we'd had a beer beforehand...

The American service attention you are craving after not getting it in other bars. But yes it's still fun. Bar keeps are enthusiastic and friendly. Speak German or not they gotchu. Fun times and probably half the price of the one in Nashville.

Most of the music played there has nothing to do with hard rock, or even just rock. That's disappointing.

Standard food, relatively expensive.

For me, this is one of the most unlovable Hard Rock Cafes in the world. High prices, rather mediocre service, and only the standard shirts, although in a city like Munich, they have so much turnover that they could even dare to try more unusual experiments. It doesn't really compare to the breweries here. As a tourist, therefore, it's not convincing for me, even though I'm an absolute fan of the brand.

The service was lovely, but the cocktails were unfortunately the worst. The atmosphere was great, and the DJ was amazing! We didn't eat, and next time we'd rather go somewhere else for a simple drink.

The size is big, staff are so friendly and fast service and the music is so appropriate. Best of all you see a lot of memorabilia from known rockers. Love it!

We were there with a school class (about 31 people). We had pre-ordered and were offered a choice of four different dishes. The burgers were missing sauce, so we had to add it ourselves. The portion of fries that came with them was a bit meager (I wasn't completely full and hadn't eaten much during the day). The food arrived fairly quickly, but the waitress only communicated with us in English, even though we're obviously German. In my opinion, the tables are far too crowded and the seating is far too close together. This was my first experience at this restaurant chain, and I don't think I'll be going back.

It's decorated like many Hard Rock Cafés. The prices are quite high for Tunisia, but it's absolutely worth it.

In my case, as a regular at all hard rock bars in the cities I visit, and after some pretty good experiences, this time I have to weigh in. I love going to the hard rock bars in every city, buying a T-shirt, and also dining surrounded by unique memorabilia from my favorite rock bands. I understand that dining in this setting is somewhat "exclusive," which can somewhat increase the price of the food. Furthermore, the service from the staff has always been magnificent in my experience. As we know, hard rock burgers aren't anything special; they're just average burgers with an inflated price considering the experience of where you're eating them. However, this last time, nothing at all justified the price we paid. Both my partner and I always ordered the same burger: I ordered the BBQ burger and she ordered the regular cheeseburger, since there wasn't much more variety. But this time, we were surprised to see that four themed burgers from different countries were offered, so we decided to change them up and order the American and the Spanish. The American burger was acceptable; it wasn't crazy, but it had a certain charm. On the other hand, the Spanish burger was so absurd that I don't know how they realized that burger is completely unpalatable. Maybe the combination of ingredients isn't bad, but the chorizo ​​jam is just plain awful and ruins the whole burger. On another note, and something that's making me reconsider whether or not to dine at Hard Rock again is the fact that you're paying 25 euros for a burger and the bun is frozen. Yes, the bun is frozen. I've always criticized the potato bread they use at Hard Rock because, in my opinion, it's super dry, and I think it's easy to replace with a good butter brioche (probably due to negligence by those in charge). What's unacceptable is that it's frozen. And how do I know that? Quite simply, hamburger or hot dog buns, when they're frozen and toasted to put them on the burger, fall apart. The top layer of the bun is dry and cracking due to the thawing process, which in my opinion is unacceptable for a burger that costs almost 25 euros, just as it is with the fries, which are also frozen. On the other hand, I think they should reconsider making new burgers with new buns and abandon the meat patties, since, as I have seen, they are not their thing. I wrote this review with great regret, as I have already visited six Hard Rock restaurants in the six trips I have made so far and bought all six of my T-shirts. But either they change their tune or the closure of more of the chain's restaurants, as happened in Paris (where I visited), will be inevitable.

A wonderful restaurant with delicious food located in Marienplatz. The atmosphere is wonderful and worth a visit and a try. I thank the server, BRIE, who is helpful, cheerful, and an ideal employee. The restaurant is simply wonderful and worth a try.

HRC is synonymous with good food, magnificent desserts, and excellent drinks. All of this in a background music atmosphere with music videos and great music. The customer service is always exquisite. And there are always details of music memorabilia on the walls to immortalize.

Ordered a Chef Salad with a steak add on for 25euros and the steak was so dry and overcooked like they reheated it. It definately was not fresh and a big disapointment. Told the waiter and he said he would check on it and never came back. Been to over 16 different hard rocks around the world and we come there specifically for this salad. This was the first fail. That being said the natchos were good. I would never return here again as the service and food were not in any way compelling to return.

The interior design of the place is great. Beers are priced around 6 euros and cocktails around 10 euros.

Have been twice since arriving in Munich. They have a gluten free menu which is greatly appreciated. And they don’t look annoyed when you ask for it so that worth the money. But the food is very good. I had Cobb salad today and a burger a few nights ago. Both were very good. Husband enjoyed the steak. The drinks are expensive I think but there are free refills for sodas. Lovely staff and the brownie dessert was amazing.

Well, a Hard Rock Cafe, after all. We've been to one or two over the years. What I've noticed is that the menu has become more concise. And the prices have, of course, gone in the other direction. The taste is really okay, but even here, I think things are going in the wrong direction. The ambiance suits my taste in music. The staff is friendly and competent. A visit is basically a matter of taste. For us, it's been a must so far. If they continue on this path, I'll probably refrain from going.

Great location, reservations were easy online. It's commendable that a separate gluten-free menu is available upon request. The prices are relatively high, but the food is excellent, and the portions are generous.

A very nice HRC in Munich. Very bright and clean, and friendly service. The music is also great, but I've never had a beer as warm as this one. It doesn't suit Munich. The glass was extremely warm, so the beer was only slightly chilled. For the high price of beer, I expected more. The Rock Shop, however, is super nice and has a large selection.

Wonderful, with an extremely friendly waiter, Albino, who gave me the wonderful feeling I also experienced in America: friendly, up for a joke, and relaxed. We'll be back!

We've been standing in front of the shop in Munich for about an hour before heading home. The shop door says 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays. In the café, they say 10:00 a.m. Tip for the office: adjust the opening hours on this door and on Google as well. Thanks.

Huge disappointment!! I recently visited the Hamburg branch and was very pleased. This one was a disappointment. We went with a reservation. The place was spacious and the atmosphere was nice. We ordered a burger, a triple chicken slider, fries&chicken and onion rings. The portions were stingy for Hard Rock Cafe standards. The chicken in the burgers was so thin it was dry. The onion rings, priced around €6, contained six pieces. The fries were so few that they could be counted. In short, despite the small portions, the flavor profile was weak, and the prices were high. When I ate the same food at the Hamburg branch, I was stuffed, but I left here half-starved...

Cannot fault the service. I was seated no problem (despite being early for my reservation) and managed to order very easily. The food and drink arrived prompt and tasted great. I always enjoy visiting the hard rock franchise to see everything on the walls plus there's always great music, loud enough that you can hear it but not so loud that you're shouting to be heard.

We made a reservation in advance, which didn't work online, but it was absolutely no problem and we got a table right away, even though the café was full. The staff shows how gastronomy works. The ambiance is fantastic, the food is fresh and delicious, and well worth the price. We'll be back.

I'd like to start by saying that I love hard rock cafe and always have done, I have been to many in the UK, Ireland, America and Europe but this one...not my favourite by far. The staff member who served us (Anteneh) was completely avoidant of our table, it took forever for our order to be taken and a long time for drinks to arrive after ordering, not only this but when trying to get his attention to order more drinks he completely ignored us and avoided looking in our direction. I'd like to add that it was not very busy in there and there were plenty of staff members working. He also got one of our drinks orders wrong but oh well things happen. The decoration was not the best that I've seen in a hard rock cafe, especially as no music videos were being shown on the screens which was disappointing as I consider this to be part of the hard rock experience that you don't get at other restaurants. The decoration was lovely for the fact that it payed homage to the fact that its in germany and not america so had a lot of obviously german architectural decoration which I loved to see. The food was lovely as always though and so we're the drinks so all in all not a bad experience. The man at the shop desk on the contrary was an absolute angel and was really lovely. I'm hoping that all other staff members are as lovely and we just ended up with an anomaly...

Right in the city center. We had a great meal here. Because of the nice weather, we ate outside. The patio is small, and you're right next to people walking by. That can be a bit of a nuisance. The steak was good. The pulled pork and chicken combo was a bit mediocre. The service, however, was excellent. We frequent Hard Rock Cafes and have noticed that prices are gradually rising. That's a shame.

Food was great lots of choice, great choices for gluten free they have a whole menu, great to see . Oh and gluten free beer 🍺. Atmosphere was fine however the music so load we couldn't chat properly. Service very slow we waited 25 mins to place our order for drinks and food !

At a Hard Rock, you'll always have a good dinner!!! There's no doubt about it! But on this occasion, the waiters left a little to be desired. Ours, in particular, disappeared, and although we wanted to order more drinks, we couldn't because he wasn't there... Delicious gluten-free burgers! Unfortunately, given the current warm temperatures, there's a subtle stench coming from the Hofbräuhaus across the street, so eating on the terrace loses a point.

I'm disappointed. The ambiance and the restaurant are great, nicely decorated, tidy, and clean. The staff is very friendly. The food is far too little for the price, overpriced, and not appropriate. It's similar to the T-shirts you can buy; you're paying for the name, not the quality. I would have preferred better music, too. They played lesser-known songs, probably something to do with the licensing. And Messi is advertising for the Hard Rock Cafe, why not a well-known bandleader or musician? Very strange, and it's questionable why the Hard Rock Cafe enjoys such a cult status?!
