Very expensive for what you get: burnt ribs

I don’t have much time in Munich but I had to check the local HRC🥳 My 11th location visited✅

I went there specifically to eat a Fajtas...excellent!

Great food. Huge portions, great music. However, I had to dine under a onesie worn by a certain Freddy Mercury from the band Queer.

Food so-so. Typically hard rock. Unfortunately service is not good. You feel like a tourist. Burgers were very dry. Fries quite good. Beer was tasty. It was very full, we had to wait about 10 minutes for a seat and only had about an hour. Then the table was reserved again. Maybe. better reserve.

This restaurant didn't deserve to have a good reputation. Firstly, the restaurant showed us to our tables, which is normal, then they made us wait for a good 40 minutes, which was outrageous. After the long wait, I was obviously dependent on it To draw our attention to us, I contacted me and pointed out that we hadn't been served yet even though the rest of our group had already been served. I did this twice and then they took care of it. The food was mediocre and the citizen kept falling apart, making it inedible which is sad. ! THINK IF IT'S WORTH IT AT THESE PRICES!

Super delicious food and drinks. The atmosphere is very cool with exhibits of various rock bands.

Thank you very much for this great expierience and atmosphere. All was great !!! The waiter was really friendly and even when we told him we have about 1 hour of time till we had to go he said "dont worry im gonna tell the chef to be fast" and so did he, instead of waiting 50 minutes and having to run to the bus we got it in 15 minutes and we could eat slowly, enjoy the music ,sorroundings and the amazing atmosphere without needing to worry about being late.

unique atmosphere and the decor really refined down to the smallest detail, Valentina from the staff was very nice, the only minus is that in one of the burgers the meat wasn’t done, only very rare in the middle, the rest was well-done (we were not asked about the degree of doneness ) however, a huge plus is the short waiting time with a large number of guests

Came here on a rainy day after we couldn't get seats anywhere at nearby places. We were all pleasantly surprised that the food and drinks were good. We shared several appetizers and there were all great. Great service as well, and a fun atmosphere.

Visiting a Hard Rock café, for some people, is a must when traveling. In addition to the restaurant, they are unique museums of objects, clothing and photographs from the world of rock music. The Hard Rock Cafe in Munich is very large and beautiful, with very interesting collection pieces. The menu in these places is always the same, it does not vary: greasy American-style food. The prices are slightly expensive, but you won't leave hungry. There are vegetarian and vegan dishes. Four of us went for dinner on a Saturday in August, without a reservation. They initially told us that it is advisable to reserve and that we should wait, although later, when we managed to enter, the place was half empty. The waiters are very nice in these places, but it takes a lot of effort to get them to serve you, and they are not fast. The premises are not suitable for people with reduced mobility, since the toilets are on the ground floor and can only be accessed by a flight of very narrow stairs.

Expensive and poor quality food. The waiter served us in Spanish, of course, to tell us that there was no dish with chicken (Thursday night in August). Burnt and dry burgers, broken and dirty bathrooms. I don't like the concept of an expensive store + an expensive, low-quality restaurant (and I've been to several)

Like all Hard Rock Cafes with lots of great decoration. The service was a bit slow. We were there as a group and not everyone was very hungry. But €13 for a drink and a portion of fries is already steep

I visited the restaurant for the first time a few days ago and was really impressed. The atmosphere that the place exudes is indescribable, the staff is very friendly, especially the hostess who took care of me and showed me to the table, her name is Bianca if I'm not mistaken. I live here in Munich and will definitely come back!

I loved the experience in Hard Rock!! The food was delicious and everybody was super nice, especially Bianca who attended me and my family super kindly and patiently. Will come back for sure and hope to see her there again :)

I went to the restaurant to celebrate my birthday, the atmosphere is very cozy and the food is very tasty, all the staff were friendly, especially one named Bianca, very attentive and kind. I will definitely come back again!!!

We had to cope with a 45 minute wait for a table and it worked out well. We were shown to the table and given the cards and then had to wait forever until we could order a drink on this hot day. Ordered food and drinks. At some point the iced tea arrived and my cocktail was a long time coming. The food was then brought out, quite hectic, at first it seemed to us that the gentlemen didn't want to come to us and since we couldn't understand them, it was a bit suboptimal. The cocktail was still waiting and arrived another 10 minutes later. The waiter assigned to us wasn't seen for ages, and after eating we wanted to have a coke and a menu. We told a colleague who wanted to pass it on but that didn't work either. The waiting time for the coke was very quick after the assigned waiter was there again. After waiting another 20 minutes, we decided to eat ice cream in the ice cream parlor a few meters away, as we wanted to arrive back at the hotel the same day. After the first signal that we wanted to pay, another 10 minutes passed. When we waved further, we were waved back in a friendly manner but that was it. It wasn't until we got dressed that there was any movement. The wrong receipt was brought in first, but then the cashing went quite quickly. We don't know this kind of customer service in Hamburg and Berlin, unfortunately it's very disappointing. In terms of price, it's a bit too expensive for what was offered.

Be careful, we went to this restaurant yesterday with my girlfriend (August 16, 2024), I can assure you that we were sick all day the next day (food poisoning) I'll spare you the details but we never been this sick in our life, it was horrible!!! Never again!!!

Went to dinner several times with a large group during our annual visit to Oktoberfest. In 2023 we had dinner in a private room. That was very well organized and an ideal quieter location in the restaurant.

Really great shop with delicious food Unfortunately, there was an employee who treated us very rudely and looked at us askance while we were talking (😒🙄😑) (Larger middle-aged lady with dark blonde hair->hairstyle fixed with a pin)!!! Unfortunately, she was really completely rude, which is not possible However, the food was really very good And you will definitely be full. Gladly again but without this rude waitress

Great location with very friendly service, delicious food and of course good music! I was in Munich for a week on business and visited the Hard Rock Café 3 times. Ok, the price of food and drink is already in the upper class, and I think some of the souvenirs in the shop are overpriced, but I just felt comfortable here. There was even 1 hour of live music on a Tuesday and the guy was really good. For dinner I tried the chicken wings in barbeque sauce and they were fantastic! Very tender, great taste, generous portion, so the price-performance ratio was definitely right for me. All I can say is: Have the honor, see you next time!

The food was really delicious👍🤗 One star deducted because of the pricing. Unfortunately, service times were quite long at the beginning... At the allocated (alcove) seat you felt quite squeezed in (zero legroom) - although there would have been significantly more seats available in the restaurant with a little more freedom of movement... 👎 Overall visual ambience👍 What doesn't work at all (acoustic ambience): During a 90-minute stay you were treated to music by Coldplay (in my opinion, maximum PopRock), Eminem/Rihanna (...) and ballads by Adele (🙈)... 😧😠 This is absolutely unworthy of a “HARDROCK” cafe 👎👎👎 It's a miracle that the MEGADEATH bass guitar didn't fall off the wall... 🤘 Conclusion: If you want to enjoy good food in an extraordinary ambience, this is the place for you. However, the operators should think about the choice of sound system for the guests (Rock!) - or simply change the (brand) name to "PopCafe"... sorry... With appropriate music there would definitely have been more stars!

The place is certainly charming, but the service was nothing short of "scandalous". We went here because it has a fairly extensive gluten-free menu, but when ordering, they told us that they ran out of gluten-free bread and ribs. We reluctantly resort to a salad, then wait FORTY minutes to receive the order, which is delivered to us incorrectly! Only after threatening to leave without paying, within five minutes they brought me what I had ordered, apologizing and telling me that my meal would be free. Small consolation, but at least it was an admission of the mistake made. However I won't go back.

We went to Swifties Brunch - that's the only reason I'm basing my review on it. Completely disorganized, 1 hour wait before we could even place our order. Fatal if the whole thing only lasts 2 hours. The "hot drinks" came cold, as did the food. In addition, it did not correspond to the description. Too bad! I would have preferred to pay 5 euros more for a buffet, then the service wouldn't have been so stressful.

Cool service and even cooler cocktails!

We often go to the Hard Rock Cafe in different cities but this one is just wow. Wow for the restaurant/restaurant, Wow for the decoration, Wow for the absolutely super friendly staff and Wow Wow Wow for the absolutely delicious awesome food. I've never had such great spare ribs (sorry baby back ribs) and so much of them in a Hard Rock Café. I didn't even touch the fries or salad because I was so full from the ribs. Absolutely awesome. We'll see and in any case again next time we are in Munich.

So far, we have been to Hard Rock Cafe for lunch or dinner in many large European cities because we know what to expect. This is the worst so far.

The Chinese lady who served us was very unfriendly and charged us without asking for a tip. Didn't give me the receipt. We had to repeat everything several times. As a long-time Hard Rock Cafe visitor, I am very disappointed.

We were there more often before the children (5 years old) unfortunately a lot has changed during that time. We waited over an hour for the food and had to wait 30 minutes despite having a reservation. Unfortunately, the map has also changed a lot. The food was amazing, it was so delicious 😋

Food in Munich gluten free that we found by chance thanks to the kindness of a waiter named Roberto who attended us very kindly in Spanish. The place is right in front of the hofbrauhaus and thanks to Roberto's attentive service, my 6-year-old son enjoyed the burger and the place like a dwarf. A 10 for staff like this waiter who unfortunately are becoming less and less.

Have eaten here several times. As always, delicious, staff attentive and friendly. Atmosphere unbeatable anyway. Always my pleasure

First the good: our waiter was very nice. Now for the bad: the shrimp on a creamy colesalad was the absolute worst dish I have ever eaten in a restaurant. The colesalad was barely there and far from creamy. There were lots of crispy, unseasoned potato sticks or whatever they were supposed to be in the bowl. It was like I was chewing on a match. The prawns were neither taste nor visually recognizable as prawns. The cola was underground syrupy stuff. It remains to be mentioned that it is incredibly overpriced. Never again

Our waiter Bree was very nice and attentive, but the restaurant was very under-staffed, even though only half-full. We had a reservation for 20.00 and it took 20 minutes for the host to seat us, and another ten minutes before a drinks order was taken. The tables around us were not cleared the whole time we were there, which made for a not very nice environment. Our food was really tasty, but it would have been better to have all diners in one or two sections, rather than have stressed staff running all over and leaving dirty tables uncleared. We dined on 28th July.

Our waiter was funny and very welcoming. The food was average for Hard Rock however I have had nicer in another Hard Rock. The interior itself and layout was one of the best I’ve seen & their musical artefacts were pretty impressive.

We went by to get some souvenirs from the rock shop and devoted to get some dessert, i had the chocolate fudge brownie, wich was so big it defeated me 🤣 my friend had a milkshake.

Music 🎶 was much better than Hard Rock Cafe Innsbruck. The food was even better. 🥳

We had reserved a table in advance. Unfortunately, when we were brought to the table, it was in a corner. It was also very narrow to the next table, so a star deduction. The food came pretty quickly and was very tasty.

As in almost all Hard Rock cafes, the food is good and the service is excellent. Located in a great city in a beautiful building. One of the more extensive shops at the cafe so you can stock up on plenty! Nice to be able to add this to my list

Very nice lady in the shop, but restaurant was different story. Manager had an agresive kind of a meeting with 2 employees close to my sit, burger was below Hard Rock expectations, atmosphere was not good (employees showed no Hard Rock mood). Had a feeling climate in the team should be worked on.

Once again there is a lack of special Munich items and chic shirts

We just love the food, the drinks and the whole atmosphere in the Hard Rock Cafés. This was also convincing again.

Service was okay, unfortunately no one checked on us in between, you felt a bit left alone, the buffalo chicken sandwich was too spicy for me personally, but the fries were very tasty!

According to Hardrock Cafe, the service and ambience were very good and friendly. The food was okay. My wife had a classic meat burger that was tasty and good. Which is why there are 2 stars and only 2 stars for the food: I had the vegetarian/vegan burger, which in the classic version includes sauce and cheddar. I ordered it as vegan. Everything that wasn't vegan was simply left out here. So the burger only consisted of: bread, V-patty, lettuce, tomato. No sauce, no cheddar substitute, so rather dry. It tasted okay, but not overwhelming. Afterwards I'm actually annoyed, no, I think it's cheeky that you still have to pay the full price of €22 for the vegan version, which lacks many essential things. It would be at least a small price reduction if you save half of the actual ingredients...

The nice ambience and a slightly larger shop than I know from other Hard Rock Cafes in Germany. The food was very tasty and the service was always attentive and there when the drinks were empty. Background music was at a comfortable volume in a very sociable atmosphere.

As Hard Rock Café fans, a visit to the Munich Café was a given for us. Munich is more of a small café, but that doesn't make it any worse. The food and drinks (cocktails) were great as always. The service took a little longer this time, but that didn't detract from our evening. However, some additional training may need to be given regarding the Unity program, but unfortunately no one asked about it in the café or in the rock shop. When I presented my QR code, I was looked at with questioning eyes because no one really knew what to do with it. Nothing was scanned in either location. I thought it was a bit of a shame because there was a display with “Join now” on all the tables. But that was the only not so pleasant thing about our visit. Otherwise, we look forward to our next visit to the Hard Rock Café

I'm a huge hard rock fam and also collect the pins. We come here regularly to eat or just drink. The people are super friendly and the food is good.

Absolutely fantastic! My fiancée is celiac and nowhere else in THE WORLD has ever been as accommodating as Hard Rock! We got a drink where they used alcohol from a bottle with gluten (they’ve poured Hendricks into Beefeater) and when we raised concerns they offered to replace the drink with one we’re comfortable with! Nowhere in the world can celiacs (gluten frei, gluten free, glutenfritt) ever be as safe! I want to give Albin and the bartender our greatest celebration from me, my fiancée and our dog (Pink) Floyd!

Everything is fine so far, but unfortunately it's not really enough for 5 stars for an HRC. There is still room for improvement. If the store is only 10% full and you're waiting in front of an empty glass, that's a bit unfortunate. But the burgers were okay. The “lid” was a bit dry and I personally was missing the knife in the burger ;-) In the shop you have to ask for the discount despite wearing an HRC shirt (explanation: the colleague certainly didn't see it) In summary, a pretty decent HRC with room for improvement.

Best restaurant I've ever been to! Our waiter Sergio was very attentive and delivered everything correctly. You can happily spend your money on that :)

The hostess couldn’t care less about customers. Worst HardRock experience ever. This is not Hradrock standards at all. She seem to enjoy not letting go in the restaurant and not giving any option like the bar. Basically she treat us with no respect. I have been in more than 20 HardRock an around the world and the signature is how they attend the customers. Well, this is the clear exception

It is better to eat nothing but burger. Caesar's had horrible lettuce leaves, no lettuce, you'd think of damaged oak leaves. The chicken wings are terrible, they are boiled, not fried, they are covered with a horrible spicy cheap sauce.

Their coffee is as excellent as their alcohol and food. Next to the most famous bar restaurant in the city

sweet margarita I've ever tasted! Really like the shrimp tho, but not the burger. A little upset, live music only on the corner near the entrance. Well it's Hard Rock, which is identical with music. However, i enjoyed being here ☺️

The stake was well done when we ordered medium rare. The singer was bad and a normal playlist would be better. The view inside was good, but that is not The most important. Other Hard Rock cafe’s i have been to are way better! Like LA, New York, Wroclaw, Berlin and such. Dissapointing for a Hard Rock.

The worst Hard Rock Cafe I have ever experienced and know about 15 others worldwide. Worn seats and benches, table sticky, had to ask for the table to be cleaned, service completely confused and didn't know his own menu (according to him, the 3rd day of work, which may be true, but then there should be a better introduction/instruction), knife completely blunt , you can't cut bread or meat with it, burger buns are too soft... Simply disappointing for us and from my point of view really the worst hard rock I've ever seen and experienced...

We were “just” here to drink and relax. Since we didn't eat anything, only 4 stars. The location is great, the service is very friendly and what we drank was delicious.

We had very bad experiences with a boutique staff the guy was very rude my message to the Hardrock cafe munich why you hired the guy with no manners and no integrity!! But the guy who served us at the bar was very nice I think he is from Ireland and my daughter left her tumbler at the bar where we had a drinks and the next day July 10 th we came and asked the other staff in the bar said they didn’t see what a big liar!! We visited on July 9th 2024

Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

The overall experience is very good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is not good enough to justify the price but obviously one is not paying for the food alone. Something that does have a very good value for money is the children's menu.

This is your typical chain restaurant cashing in on a big name. i love hard rock and actually like to stop by all of them when I travel but after sitting for 15+ minutes while trying to flag down several waitstaff and being ignored I decided this not even busy place is trash and doesnt deserve the patronage. What a disgrace to the brand.

Average restaurant but at high end prices. You are paying quite the premium for the hard rock environment. Winners: cowboy ribeye steak, chicken caesar salad. Losers: nachos, wings, kids options. The Bangkok shrimp are especially unappetizing.

Popular place, it is always crowded in the souvenir section and the restaurant section, my favorite is Baby Ribs BBQ.

Loud, bright, like in the USA. After a few minutes you get used to the enormous background noise, the service is rehearsed and on point, the cuisine is American, down-to-earth, hearty and always a little too much. Just the thing to prepare for a vacation in the States or to satisfy your US homesickness. It's only when you leave that you realize that you're still in the middle of Munich.

Fairly high price, at least for the merchandising, and the store space is not very large, making travel complicated in the presence of other visitors.
