The Hard Rock Café Munich is definitely a highlight right in the heart of the city! As soon as you enter, you can feel the special atmosphere – a perfect blend of rock 'n' roll, history, and modern hospitality. The decor is impressive, with authentic collectibles from famous rock legends that turn every corner into a mini museum. The service was once again excellent – ​​friendly, attentive, yet pleasantly relaxed. The legendary burgers are highly recommended – juicy, perfectly grilled, and with delicious sides. The cocktails were also first-class and stylishly served. What's particularly nice: Despite its touristy reputation, the visit feels personal and authentic. Ideal for an evening with friends, a cool date, or simply when you're in the mood for good music and good food. I'll definitely be back again – Rock on! 🤘

We really enjoyed it! The people are very friendly, the atmosphere is authentic, and the music is rocking, of course, what else? ;). The food is good too; I had the BBQ bacon cheeseburger. The prices are steep, but OK for Munich. We'd love to come back.

Amazing food, staff and ambience

Great for lunch or dinner - great American food and drinks, love to go for those. For brunch/breakfast, there’s much better places in Munich. Their breakfast is overpriced and the quality is sub-par; mostly cold and tasteless food, small coffees and no specialty hot drinks.

Calls itself Hard Rock and only plays bad music... Doesn't live up to its name anymore, no trace of rock music the whole evening... But the stuff from big bands on the wall... Ridiculous

Very good service.....great cocktails.... But since when does a Hard Rock Cafe only play bad mainstream music? The name says Hard Rock, not Taylor Swift...that needs to be changed urgently!!!!!

My visit to the Hard Rock Cafe in Munich as part of a school trip wasn't great. The ambiance of the cafe was very good and nice. However, the burgers didn't taste good. For that price, I think they should offer much better options.

We really love this Hard Rock location. The service is excellent and they always have the best staff there. We’ve been a few times since moving to munich and always have a great time, but last night was even more special. It was my daughter’s birthday and we made reservations…not realizing how crazy it would be with all the euro championship soccer fans out. We got there late because the roads were packed and the “bouncers” asked us to wait outside—likely being no tables left. A few minutes later they brought us in and seated us. I know we were late and it was a very busy night for them, but they handled it professionally and with kindness. We can eat anywhere, but that’s why we come back.

I went to a place I truly love, like the Hard Rock Café, known worldwide for its great service and attention, but in Munich it was a disaster. Because of Edwin and his colleague, who treated us very poorly when we asked for a table and ordered food, we had to get up and leave. This kind of treatment is unacceptable at a chain like Hard Rock, especially in a city like Munich, which is otherwise known for the quality of service in its other establishments. We were 4.

I visited again after 8 years. Despite the pandemic, the quality has not changed. You can make a reservation, but we went in the evening without making a reservation and there was a seat. The beers are still good (there are better places in the city with better beer, by the way) and the food is still of good quality. We even ordered ribs this time, and they were extremely good with barbecue sauce. If you know what hard rock is, you should definitely visit. By the way, don't say I didn't warn you, the prices are expensive compared to some restaurants.

Great staff and a pleasant atmosphere. We ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The fries were really great and everyone enjoyed them, but the cheeseburger was just too dry and barely edible.

The worst Hard Rock Cafe I've ever been to. The staff seems very lackadaisical, so you'd have to pay extra for a smile. We had a somewhat overweight server who clearly didn't enjoy his job. Plates were slammed down listlessly, and the rest of the time they all hid in the kitchen. My New York strip steak, ordered medium, was grilled to perfection (shoe sole) the first time. While waiting for a new steak, I was allowed to watch my companion eat, and after I received my "perfectly" cooked steak, my companion was able to watch me eat. A little unfortunate, but you could tide me over with a small treat like a cup of coffee or something similar. If, after this poor service, you don't follow the prompt to select the tip as a percentage of the total on the machine, but instead enter a number you consider appropriate, the machine is snatched away from under your credit card after the payment process and you're left sitting there. You then wait in vain for a farewell. We visit every Hard Rock Cafe on our travels around the world. But we won't be coming to Munich anymore.

Service super good. Staff very friendly and attentive. However, I am very disappointed with the atmosphere. Music is way too quiet and unfortunately it has almost nothing to do with rock. From time to time a rock song but that's it. Otherwise only mainstream titles. Very disappointed how this has developed in recent years. It was my last visit to the Hard Rock Café.

On May 10th, 2025 we were at the Hard Rock Cafe again with friends and everything was really good, from the service to the food. On March 5th, 2017 I was back at the Hard Rock Cafe Munich with friends and unfortunately I have to take back my praise from January. We were greeted very friendly and got a table straight away. It then seemed that the waitress took too long to place our order. We ordered an appetizer for everyone and a burger each. Unfortunately we didn't eat the starter quickly enough because our conditions were suddenly in front of us with the house price. When we didn't want the food yet, she took the burgers back with her. After about 20 minutes we were served four cold burgers, those were the ones from before. When we complained, the manager arranged for us to get new food. Actually, something like this shouldn't happen because the food isn't cheap and the service at the Hard Rock Cafe is very important. I was in Paris exactly a week earlier at the Hard Rock Cafe and there was no reason for any complaints. Service was great. Food was great. Everything was great. Please take note and in France the place was full and you could also reserve a table for Friday. But I think it was an exception last Friday. We had breakfast at the Hard Rock Cafe today (January 24, 2016) and it was really good. The price of €20 was also reasonable, everything was included. It was a typical American breakfast, with bacon and eggs, pancakes with maple syrup, sausage, cheese, cornflakes, sweets and of course sausage and fruit. Unfortunately there was a bit of a lack of guests. The service was great, as you would expect from the Hard Rock Cafe. The plates were always cleared away, the buffet was always checked to see if everything was still there and a smile was given free of charge.

Service and atmosphere 10/10. But the food is just getting worse. The menu is looking more like a cheap restaurant with less and less uniqueness. I even tried getting the BBQ combo plate. It's now an overpriced dish. The meat tastes bland and you can see that they just poured some BBQ on some cooked chicken and served it. Shame

I am the ultimate Hard Rock Cafe GROUPIE!! I find them from my world travels. Many times my trips are planned based on the location of the nearest cafe. I love the ones that have the photo boths. I collect T-shirt, trading pin, and shot glass. I LOVE HARD ROCK!!

Hardly anything is hard or rock here except the ambience. The music is as mainstream as any other standard bar. Pretty disappointing.

Got a voucher in Booking.com so go there in my last day in Munich. The Gold menu does not have many options that match my taste, so I go with chicken ceasar salad which turns out not bad at all. Service is quick and efficient, staffs are nice. What confuses me is that the restaurant does not seem very busy, but why people have to buy tickets via Viator and Booking to get there?

To the Owner/Management: A Sharp Decline in Service – Deeply Disappointed We’ve visited Hard Rock Cafe Munich several times over the years, but this recent visit was a major letdown and far from what we’ve come to expect from the brand. It started with our waiter not understanding our order, despite us speaking clearly in both German and English. The interaction felt off and unprofessional. Shortly after, a second waiter brought plates and slammed one of them onto the table with a loud bang — completely uncalled for and rude. Then, our appetizer and main courses all arrived at the same time, showing a total lack of coordination and care for the dining experience. No sauces like ketchup were provided — we had to ask. And there were no drink refills unless we requested them, which is disappointing for a place that usually offers attentive service. This was, without exaggeration, the worst dining experience we’ve had in Munich in years — and by far the worst at any Hard Rock Cafe we’ve been to. We hope this feedback reaches someone who cares, because the current level of service does not reflect the Hard Rock name we used to trust.

Unfortunately not like it used to be. The food is overpriced and unimaginative, the music is now a pop/rock mix. The veggie burger consists of a patty, cheese, lettuce leaf, tomato and fried onion ring, without any sauce. The smash burger was also disappointing.

We had a great time at Hard Rock Cafe Munich! 🌟🎸 The chicken fajitas were sizzling and delicious 🌶️🔥, the mac n' cheese with chicken tenders was pure comfort food bliss 🧀🍝🍗, and the vibe was amazing with friendly service 🎶❤️! The only letdown was the BBQ burger 🍔❌ – it came without any sauce and tasted a bit dry compared to the rest. Overall, it was a rockin' experience 🎤🎉

Beautiful environment, shame about the music not relevant to the theme of the place: 90s disco mix!!! The salads are excellent and plentiful, however the French fries are to be avoided, they are very small and overcooked sticks, the ones served in McDonald's are much better

yesterday 20.4.25 20:10 pm came to this establishment for dinner waiter named Damir was aggressive, responded rudely, was not polite and answered mockingly! In the end I had to leave with the children without dinner! I will never go there again in any contry! We came to Italy for the international football tournament!

Typical Hard Rock experience. Wanted to change up and get a burger to eat. I think I only eat at Hard Rock when I'm in another country. Service was average as was food. Not bad but not anything special. Server was Ok, took our order, checked on us once and came back for the money and wanted a tip. Positive note, it's always neat to see the exhibits.

Finally Hard Rock Cafe again. Today we went to a Hard Rock for a long time but unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. We were 3 kids and 2 adults and one child didn't eat anything. 1 beer, 4 Sprite Conclusion: 1 forgotten fuel. Ok, no problem can happen. I ordered patty melt. Fries were cold. After I told the waiter he asked briefly: “May I”? And shortly afterwards touched the fries with the back of his hand. To which he replied: OK, they are a little warm but should be warmer. He disappeared with my plate and came back a little later with my plate and hot fries. Now the sandwich was no longer warm. Everything tasted ok. Basically except for the temperature. When I paid he wanted to give me back a 10 too little (I paid with a 100). Now I had to give him the bill in advance until he finally checked it. Pop Rock Cafe. That would probably be the right name for this restaurant. I used to enjoy coming here, but the music mix is ​​now a disaster. Between Nena's 99 Balloons and Lady Gaga I couldn't really feel comfortable. What's that supposed to mean? When I asked at the bar about other music, I was told that we had to adapt to the times. The nice bartender didn't like it either. You can only feel sorry for the good guy. The concept was good, anyone who liked it came here. This franchise has probably never had a complaint about not having enough guests, so I don't understand that at all. I probably won't come back.

The triple chicken burger was nice, the sauce was delicious. Katie (I hope I remember her name correctly) who served our table was attentive. However, the person who showed us the seats at the entrance said "reserved" even though the tables in the middle of the place were empty as seen in the photo and remained empty for a few hours. It wasn't nice that he didn't want us to sit at those tables. Although the food variety is low, it is a nice place with a nice concept.

Went to eat at the Hard Rock Café for the first time in Munich. We have been to many others. The Hard Rock Café has a nice atmosphere, but it doesn't come close to L.A., New York or Miami. The music collectibles on display are also not that interesting and international. The food was very tasty and the service was also very friendly. We found the prices overpriced for what you get. Despite everything, it is worth seeing.

So the food was, well, it reminds me of MC Donald's and in the toilet you get insulted and threatened... That's not possible in my opinion and I won't come again.

The ambiance and service are really great. But for a burger that costs over €20, it's pretty steep, and unfortunately, the taste wasn't great either.
