We had a wonderful evening here yesterday at the end-of-season party. Delicious drinks, good food, a great atmosphere, and, for us, an extremely convenient location near the U5 line. Looking forward to next season!

Such a lovely, rustic beer garden & the tank beer quenches every thirst. The food selection leaves nothing to be desired. And the pizza is great to eat by hand in the garden. It was great to chat with friends in such a relaxed atmosphere. We'd love to go again.

A beautiful beer garden right on Frankfurter Allee – super centrally located and therefore easily accessible. The drinks selection is diverse and impressive. The food selection is also plentiful and varied. While we weren't entirely satisfied with one or two dishes, that's a matter of taste, especially with things like salad dressings. A positive point is that everything is freshly prepared and the emphasis is clearly on quality. Overall, a very nice and cozy beer garden that is rightly well-attended.

Quite loud, smoking is unfortunately allowed everywhere, and the service is chaotic. Waited over half an hour for a mini tarte flambée. The staff were uncooperative. Extremely unfriendly!

I've been there several times now. So far, despite sometimes longer waits (which is quite normal when the place is packed), there's nothing to complain about. Service is friendly and attentive. The food has also been excellent so far. The atmosphere is relaxed, even though it sometimes gets very busy and is located right on Frankfurter Allee. Restrooms are OK. Reservations were possible even at short notice with perfect weather forecasts. For me, a classic beer garden in the heart of the city. Absolutely fine :)

No evening sun – of course, that's not the restaurant's fault. What it can certainly do is blame the unreasonably high prices, especially for the food. The quality is disproportionate. What we got couldn't really be called a "pizza" – the dough wasn't even cooked all the way through. It's a disgrace, especially since you have to get the whole thing from the uncomfortable self-service system. I like the ambiance, and the Pilsner Urquell on tap is a plus. But the food desperately needs improvement. Perhaps it would be wise to simply remove dishes that are clearly not well-versed in the menu.

I was there today for a 10th grade graduation dinner with 63 people. We were well looked after. The staff were very friendly and polite. I can only recommend it!

We happened upon this place and were drawn in by the variety of vegan dishes. The vegan tarte flambée was fantastic; I could eat it every day. The vegan currywurst was also very good. Everything came very quickly. My only criticism is that, even though it's self-service, you're asked for a tip when paying by card – a bit pushy, since you order your food at the counter, pick it up yourself, and then take the dishes away yourself.

I celebrated my birthday here and reservation experience was perfect, I just did it online and tables were reserved exactly like I asked to. Once there, they give you armbands that you can give to your guests so they can consume without any issues. Setting the budget with the team was easy. Staff was very friendly, food and alcohol was very good.

Location ist ok but it's too expensive. We paid 2 drinks coca cola and Aperol 14 Euros. Not even coke in the bottle.

We had a company event and thought it was a barbecue. It was all just a buffet with tough meat and Mederan paste. The Bockwurst was the best, but you had to ask for mustard. No bread. For a Berlin culture, that's terrible. The beer was okay. But people, don't go to the toilet there. That was.../ In Africa, it's cleaner without a toilet. It's probably just a larger snack bar, with a "toilet."

Right on Karl-Marx-Allee (Weberwiese subway station), "hidden" behind lush greenery, yet still very quiet. Great atmosphere, "normal" people, simply recommended, cool beer, and various grilled dishes. FZ: Perfect!

I hosted a party there, I think on December 9, 2022. Old-school techno house in the style of old Tresor, E-Werk, Casino, Treptowarena, Stammheim, Omen, or Warehouse. Simply perfectly adequate and almost perfect, considering what else is available to rent in Berlin, for such an event. Namely, nothing. Not for the price, not as easy, and certainly not as accessible, centrally located, and with such cool amenities. It's awesome. Talk about a club in the basement. The only bad thing is that no one came... well, that's another story. But if you manage to squeeze 50 to 100 people in there, MAN, you'll have the party of your life. Just one drawback. The staff that day (hence only 4 stars and not 5 - we didn't have any food) pressured us to stop at the end (4:00 a.m.) and had an excuse for it: they thought we weren't paying... So get lots of people and try to book a day when there's nothing going on upstairs, otherwise people up there might get dissatisfied because of the "noise" (techno philistines... but they tolerate the Love Parade...). Go for it. The club is awesome!!!

A great beer garden with reasonable prices. Delicious draft beer and even more from the bottle. Grilled sausages and neck steak in buns, veggie burgers, proper burgers, pizza, and much more. Cozy, with winter service inside and a mulled wine stand outside. Always busy, but big enough that you can almost always find a seat. A real recommendation, one I've followed countless times myself.

A reservation for 60 people was accepted without any problems, the correspondence was super fast and friendly, thank you very much for that (:

Nice beer garden. It's always very busy, and the food takes a while to arrive. It's generally self-service, but quite expensive.

JAMES JUNE – located in the heart of Berlin on the almost 3 km long and 90 m wide Karl-Marx-Allee, right in the popular Friedrichshain district, not far from Berlin's Alexanderplatz. Yet still quiet enough to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In summer, enjoy a freshly tapped Pilsner Urquell tank beer alongside delicious grilled food, a juicy burger, or a wafer-thin pizza in our green oasis. In winter, the Winterland welcomes you with rustic coziness, twinkling lights, and tasty mountain hut classics.

Well-organized beer garden, beer served immediately at the bar, food served after the piper announces himself; good selection of non-alcoholic beverages, draft beer selection could be a bit larger and more regional; I consider a 0.33l soda for €4.50 too expensive; plenty of seating at standard beer tent sets, and a few benches with backrests under the veranda roof ;)

'My' beer garden... despite the plus 30 degrees, a chilled atmosphere thanks to the plenty of shade. Personalized service for my birthday party with almost 40 people. Unfortunately, due to the residential area, it's pitch black at 11 p.m.... until then: MEGA!!!

Saturday, June 14, 2025; 6:45 PM Food: No idea - I couldn't order anything! Service: Absolutely not! Now it's self-service, where you go to the counter and get the food yourself, BUT NOTHING HAPPENED! I stood there for 20 minutes. The grillers had nothing to do and were just standing around. Both hatches/counters were open, but nothing happened! In some places, you need professional staff! And self-service is definitely not reflected in the prices anyway.

I celebrated my bday there and it was amazing ! Super nice relaxed Place with Great Service and lovely Beer Garden . Super nice for celebrations because you can book for up to 25 people .

Ein WM-Fussball-Spiel bei Nieselregen .. Es standen reichlich große Schirme parat, damit man trocken blieb. Es waren genügend Leinwände und TV-geräte aufgestellt, somit konnte man aus jeder Sitzplatzperspektive das Spiel sehen. Gastronomisches Angebot ausreichend und gut organisiert. Der Sanitärbereich ist sauber. Gerne wieder 🌟🌟🌟🌟

good atmosphere to meet with friends, have a drink or two and enjoy a nice burger.. the food quality is ok though in my opinion.. not bad but I have much better burgers in my life. the service was through a counter which was also problematic due to fact that if you have some issue you need to wlk there and it is not a small place. but still as far as it goes, the place is very hospitable for large groups and friends for friendly talks and good beer

We went there for the hut brunch in April and can only warmly recommend it. The choice of food was very varied and very tasty. The after-service was also great and everything was refilled quickly. The service was great too.

April 30, 2025 Start of the summer season and the James was so well attended. The staff is a dream. Despite the stress, a smile, nice short conversations throughout the service area. Hats off. You are really a great team. Always my favorite place.

The food was very good and varied, worth every cent. We had reserved for eight people and were given a table for six, to which two chairs were added. It was very narrow and unfortunately not appropriate for the whole thing. Overall, it was very well attended (fully booked), which was clearly noticeable in terms of volume and ventilation. Visually a beautiful location!!

I had brunch in the winter hut with a larger group and children. The buffet offers something for everyone and the food is delicious. The service was super good. Very great and dedicated staff, always with a smile on their faces. Great! I can also recommend James June as an event location. I celebrated my birthday there and the value for money is simply perfect.

We were there for brunch with our children and friends. There was a good selection of cold and warm dishes. The staff was very attentive and friendly. There is actually everything your heart desires. For someone who likes meat, perhaps not enough choice. We only had stuffed cabbage (but it was good) and white sausage. Price-performance is totally fine. We can recommend it and will definitely come back!

We were there for brunch and were very impressed. The service was great, very present, kept asking about what we were doing, really great. Food was very good, was always refilled, there was something for everyone. A small mini chocolate fondue, very sweet and a great idea. All in all we really liked it.

We went for brunch today. Pre-order is mandatory. The food is very good. Cold and warm buffet. Service staff were super nice, despite it being fully booked today, always with a smile on their faces. Every now and then you were asked if you had another wish. Very well furnished winter cabin.

Yesterday we were there shortly after 2 p.m. I didn't know you also offer brunch. Unfortunately, brunch was already over and the buffet was almost cleared. The kitchen was open again from 3 p.m., but it was so cold in the dining room that we didn't want to wait. It wasn't just cool, but really cold. The waiter explained that the heating switches off automatically at 25°C. However, I'm sure it wasn't even 20°C in the room. Ich war bereits im Sommer hier und es war sehr angenehm. The Pilsner Urquell always tastes good. Im Winter werde ich jedoch nicht wiederkommen, da es einfach zu kalt ist.

Our waitress was super nice and fulfilled our every wish, the food was overall good and tasty, there is only one star deducted because it wasn't refilled. We made a reservation for the hut brunch at 11am and almost everyone had a lot of it, for example the scrambled eggs and the bacon. Unfortunately, the egg tarts were very dried out due to being kept warm for a long time and were no longer good. We didn't get any more apple strudel for dessert and when we asked, we were told that we had to take it to the table at the beginning, so to speak, for later. It's actually not my style to "hoard" something like that... Well, next time we'll be smarter :D Nevertheless, overall it was a nice visit that we would like to repeat, among other things because of the really friendly staff <3

We felt very well looked after. Our grandchildren were also treated very kindly. It was also beautifully decorated for winter inside and out! We can recommend this location with a clear conscience.

The reservation for the New Year's brunch for 20 people went smoothly. Everyone enjoyed the homemade food. There was something for everyone. Location very cozy. Service very nice and attentive. Definitely recommended. The outdoor curling rink is also recommended.

Very authentic hut brunch! It really felt like you were in a mountain hut and then jumping back onto the slopes. The food was delicious and I also thought it was great that there were vegan options. Unfortunately I didn't see any in the sauces. But the filled pasta pockets were very good. It's certainly super challenging to serve all the guests in such a full hut, which we had that day, but we felt a bit forgotten at our place and didn't have any drinks for a long time. I thought the additional special with the chocolate fountain was great, but I only knew about it through Instagram; I didn't find any reference to it on site. And when I was away for a short time, the chocolate fountain was simply cleared away, despite protests from my companion, even though the pineapple pieces had not yet been touched, with the justification that the brunch was being cleared away (but it was still there at the same time). I would still come back, it was delicious and the atmosphere was cool.

It was my first time at the hut brunch. The atmosphere was very cozy. All that was missing was the view of snow-covered mountains. The quality of the food was top. A small but fine selection from rolls to croissants and muesli to various excellent warm dishes and dessert. Vegan alternatives were also considered. I have a small comment about the dessert selection. I would have liked a little more choice. There was apple strudel and crepes. Maybe a small selection of cakes. And it would have been nice if cutlery had been available at the buffet. For 4 people, the cutlery at the table was quickly used up. I definitely recommend the hut brunch.

Admittedly, I had relatively high expectations and was unfortunately a bit disappointed. The building itself is very nice, but it is terribly drafty, so please bring a sweater, and the toilets are really not up to scratch. The service was mostly quick, but we were often forgotten and the tone of the service was also very abrupt. There was quite a lot to choose from when it came to food, everything was okay. There could be more choice for dessert at the buffet, there was nothing to choose from Kaiserschmarrn with apple confit, apple strudel and chocolate fondue. There's definitely not something for everyone.

The hut brunch is absolutely recommended! If you like something hearty and alpine, you've come to the right place :)

Winter brunch in a class of its own – simply perfect! I recently went to this winter brunch for my birthday and I'm still loving it! Everything is just right here: the food was absolutely fantastic, the selection was overwhelming, and the price-performance ratio was unbeatable. There was a huge variety of food - from savory to sweet, warm to cold, and there was even a wide selection of vegan options. Everything was fresh, lovingly prepared and of the best quality. I was particularly impressed by the sweet treats and the vegan specialties - you can tell that people work here with heart and mind. The atmosphere was simply wonderful: cozy, inviting and perfect for a relaxing winter morning. You immediately feel at home and can enjoy brunch to the fullest. The service was also a highlight: the team was incredibly friendly, attentive and always quickly made sure that nothing was missing. Even when there were a lot of people, everything ran smoothly, which made the stay even more pleasant. This winter brunch was really an experience - absolutely recommended, whether for connoisseurs, families or vegans. I'll definitely be back! Thank you for this great start to the day!
