Very authentic hut brunch! It really felt like you were in a mountain hut and then jumping back onto the slopes. The food was delicious and I also thought it was great that there were vegan options. Unfortunately I didn't see any in the sauces. But the filled pasta pockets were very good. It's certainly super challenging to serve all the guests in such a full hut, which we had that day, but we felt a bit forgotten at our place and didn't have any drinks for a long time. I thought the additional special with the chocolate fountain was great, but I only knew about it through Instagram; I didn't find any reference to it on site. And when I was away for a short time, the chocolate fountain was simply cleared away, despite protests from my companion, even though the pineapple pieces had not yet been touched, with the justification that the brunch was being cleared away (but it was still there at the same time). I would still come back, it was delicious and the atmosphere was cool.

It was my first time at the hut brunch. The atmosphere was very cozy. All that was missing was the view of snow-covered mountains. The quality of the food was top. A small but fine selection from rolls to croissants and muesli to various excellent warm dishes and dessert. Vegan alternatives were also considered. I have a small comment about the dessert selection. I would have liked a little more choice. There was apple strudel and crepes. Maybe a small selection of cakes. And it would have been nice if cutlery had been available at the buffet. For 4 people, the cutlery at the table was quickly used up. I definitely recommend the hut brunch.

Totally lovingly made brunch. I go there very often, even in summer. Everything is always really nice! You feel comfortable there :)

Admittedly, I had relatively high expectations and was unfortunately a bit disappointed. The building itself is very nice, but it is terribly drafty, so please bring a sweater, and the toilets are really not up to scratch. The service was mostly quick, but we were often forgotten and the tone of the service was also very abrupt. There was quite a lot to choose from when it came to food, everything was okay. There could be more choice for dessert at the buffet, there was nothing to choose from Kaiserschmarrn with apple confit, apple strudel and chocolate fondue. There's definitely not something for everyone.

The hut brunch is absolutely recommended! If you like something hearty and alpine, you've come to the right place :)

Winter brunch in a class of its own – simply perfect! I recently went to this winter brunch for my birthday and I'm still loving it! Everything is just right here: the food was absolutely fantastic, the selection was overwhelming, and the price-performance ratio was unbeatable. There was a huge variety of food - from savory to sweet, warm to cold, and there was even a wide selection of vegan options. Everything was fresh, lovingly prepared and of the best quality. I was particularly impressed by the sweet treats and the vegan specialties - you can tell that people work here with heart and mind. The atmosphere was simply wonderful: cozy, inviting and perfect for a relaxing winter morning. You immediately feel at home and can enjoy brunch to the fullest. The service was also a highlight: the team was incredibly friendly, attentive and always quickly made sure that nothing was missing. Even when there were a lot of people, everything ran smoothly, which made the stay even more pleasant. This winter brunch was really an experience - absolutely recommended, whether for connoisseurs, families or vegans. I'll definitely be back! Thank you for this great start to the day!

The brunch buffet was really good, the goose would have needed a little more time but still great food, service was absolutely convincing! Would like to give it a 5, the food selection was good, but the implementation failed a bit. But still absolutely recommended, some room for improvement.

We went to the hut brunch on the 3rd of Advent and it was so delicious! There was a large selection of breakfast treats and hot food and everything tasted great. There was a lot of good vegan food at both breakfast and hot dishes ☺️ we will definitely be back. The service was super friendly and attentive! Thanks for the nice brunch.

We went to a birthday Advent brunch. The atmosphere was very cozy and the service was incredibly friendly (despite the many guests). The food was also highly recommended and the price/performance was absolutely right. We'll be back

A cozy-looking wooden building as a location creates a winter and Christmas atmosphere. The price-performance ratio is top. There were goose breasts and legs and a chocolate fountain for the children. Nicely done!

A wonderful place for a Christmas party or something similar, of course also for the individual. We had a buffet. The warm dishes and salads were excellent. An all-round successful evening.

We came across this brunch by chance and went there for the first time today. The food was really tasty and there was something for every taste, the vanilla sauce probably tasted more like vanilla 😉 When temperatures are low, people who feel cold should rather dress in an onion look. We will definitely come back, just remember that the drinks in the brunch all have to be paid extra.

Yay, the cold season has begun and the popular brunch buffet is back and its quality has not diminished

A quaint and super cozy place right in the center. The service is attentive and very friendly. The food tastes great. Be sure to try the dumplings, they are amazing, but the sweet potato fries burgers are also very good. I didn't hear anything negative from a total of about 20 people, all of whom ate differently. Although there were many groups there, the volume was limited. Price/performance fits. I like being there and can happily recommend it. Update: even on the fourth visit there were only satisfied friends. The food still tastes good and the service is always friendly and quick.

Good selection of dishes, as well as vegetarian and vegan options. The dumplings were a highlight. The quality of the food was good overall, but I had slightly higher expectations given the price of 25 euros. Super friendly and attentive restaurant staff. There is still room for improvement in terms of sustainability (e.g. individual portions of jam, Nutella and butter are no longer required). And unfortunately none of the toilets were cleaned.

Nice beer garden in itself. You could ignore the hefty prices if the service was good: self-service and since our beeper didn't work, I went to the counter myself after a while. Of course, the burgers had been there for a while and were cold. Fries were cold and carelessly slapped onto the plate. Once and never again.

The James June in Berlin is a true gem! We were there yesterday for the Oktoberfest and we all really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is inviting and modern. The menu offered a creative selection of typical Bavarian dishes, all freshly prepared. The service was attentive and friendly, making you feel completely comfortable. We have been here several times at various events, such as: World Cup Sonmergarten, Winter Wonderland and, as I said, Oktoberfest yesterday – the James June is definitely worth a visit! 5 out of 5 stars!

A great place with a good atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive. The food at Sunday brunch is plentiful and tasty, everyone can find something. Only the crepes were very hard after being kept warm. Otherwise, James June can only be recommended.

In winter, this Bavarian ambience is atypical/weird for Berlin. I like it much better in summer.

Beautiful, large beer garden, located directly on Karl-Marx-Allee, you can sit under the trees and in the evening the fairy lights create a nice atmosphere. Nice for an after-work beer. Also suitable for groups.

Was there on Friday, right at 3pm when it opened. Work meetings with colleagues. We sat comfortably in a lounge. Self-service food & drink. Very nice service and you can pay by card. I had a large salad with chicken & shandy, about €22. Considering it's right on Karl-Marx-Allee, it was very quiet.

Food ok - nothing special. Unfortunately, the self-collection service quickly becomes annoying as soon as it becomes full. Unfortunately, we were often "warned" by employees to behave - for example, we allowed ourselves to supposedly park a stroller in an escape route and refused to put it away out of sight. We won't be coming back - there are more pleasant places in Berlin.

We celebrated our daughter starting school here. Both the short-term move to a shady spot in the beer garden and the process with the wristbands for our guests worked very well. Everyone really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Thank you again for everything!

Always happy. In the summer there is a beer garden with good food (although at peak times there can be long queues at the checkout and longer waiting times for food). In winter, cozy hut atmosphere (plus 2024 brunch buffet on Sunday - we hope you do the same in the coming winter season). We always enjoy going there.

Another great evening spent with friends. Each of the different meals was delicious. Service - since it was self-service, only 3 points - was great. Employees are very friendly. Overall a professional concert. Personally, I (as a neighbor) was an even bigger fan when there were more sun loungers and fewer benches. Well, that's the price of success, which I understand from a business perspective. 🤷‍♀️

The atmosphere is appealing thanks to the beer garden and the nicely designed ordering counters. Drinks are okay but you really don't have to come here for the food. The service isn't great either: self-service and it takes a long time to get your food.

Cozy beer garden. You don't notice anything from the big street because everything around it is green. Drinks flowed quickly and the men's group had fun.

I always feel like events happen right when I decide to go. Still fits! My children like the fries, but there are also burgers or pizza or or. And the beer first. I'm just saying Pilsener Urquell! On tap!! There is of course a large selection of other drinks, whether with or without alcohol. Good location, nice garden; can have a nice time. If you want to spend the evening with friends, this is a good place. Nothing beats good conversations!

Great place to relax after a long walk and order some good beers! There was a queue of about 10 minutes to order drinks when we arrived.

The food was very good and there was plenty of outside seating, so you can always find a spot. It also had a great atmosphere.

Great beer garden on the former splendid mile of the GDR, centrally located under large shady old trees, rustic and cozy and the prices for Berlin are ok.

The food here is ok, but the ambiance and drinks are very nice! Also they have a big sand pit for children so it's a great place to meet up with other families. The people are very friendly, service just gets a bit slow when it gets crowded.

We had our company's summer party here. Super great location and a wonderful summer party.

My first visit was actually horrible. The beer garden was very full and so it took a full 26 minutes before we could order drinks and food. Since it took so long (1h26min) for the food to arrive, there were 4 vouchers for free drinks. That almost reconciled me a bit, despite the completely burnt chicken breast and the salad that was no longer fresh. Today the weather was nice and we thought about going to the gym (I can fully recommend it). Then we thought, oh come on, we still have the receipts, let's give this thing a second chance; because the ambience is really wonderful. The moment I was told at the counter that these vouchers were only valid on this last evening, I felt completely ripped off. And that for 2 reasons: 1. IF you give out such vouchers - and that wouldn't have been necessary. Because in a beer garden I almost expect a long waiting time, then they have to remain valid in order to "lure the customer back in" or they say that they lose their validity. (The two students behind us would have been happy and we would have left with a good feeling) 2. If the bar manager doesn't even have the opportunity to decide on 4 free drinks, that speaks either of a bad employer or a bad bar manager. Tonight's meal summarized: -Salad with chicken breast strips. Meat burned again and it didn't come in strips either. Dressing: delicious -Baked potato again with a mayo variant, instead of sour cream, without specifying it. - Alsatian style tarte flambée with cheese (!), something like that doesn't belong on a F.E.A, but it would be ok if it was at least topped everywhere and not made with pizza dough. - Fries: delicious. So for me the beer garden would still have been great for drinking - and not for eating - if I hadn't had the stupid feeling about the vouchers. And certainly not because of the money, but because I value goodwill and customer friendliness. Unfortunately that was our last visit. On the other hand, I recommend the beer garden at Schönbrunn and the gym, and if you like to go further, also the café at the new lake.

Cozy beer garden, I expected it to be smaller and found the atmosphere quite nice. Unfortunately, the smoke from the kitchen wafted through the garden, which made us smell quite bad despite being outside.

It's a shame that our reservation for the final of the European Championships didn't work out, so we had a very unfavorable place, but it was still great there. We had 5 different pizzas and they were all really tasty. I don't understand why a bottle of water now has to cost over six euros, but that's just how it is in Berlin. Half a liter of beer costs a little more than five euros plus the deposit. The location is in a great location and there are enough parking spaces on the side streets

Super relaxed beer garden with a pleasant atmosphere in the middle of Friedrichshain. Here you can get freshly tapped Pilsner Urquell tank beer, delicious grilled food, burgers or pizza. I'll definitely come by again. :)

I celebrated my birthday here and enjoyed it a lot. It has an isolated area which is good for groups of up to 40 people. This area has a shelter which is good for rainy days. The staff is friendly and service is quick.

Visit on June 25th, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. (Public Viewing EM 2024): Ambiance okay. No statement can be made about food... Service only 1 star >> Location was full to capacity > This resulted in a 40-minute waiting time in the queue at the counter for drinks and food orders > When we arrived at the counter at the front, we were informed that no food orders would be accepted for the next 30 minutes because there were no " Pager" (device vibrates and lights up as soon as the order can be picked up at the distribution station) there were more in stock >> !! Then develop a solution so that the guests standing in line are informed that no food orders can be taken at the moment or get more pagers!!

Great for the European Championships.

It's a solid spot with good food (bock, burger) but it's a bit expensive. Two beers, 2 pretzels, and 2 sparkling waters came out to 20 euros. Don't sleep on the homemade garlic aioli and don't forget to give your glasses back to get back the deposit.

Goods for the Germany European Championship game here. Reservations went great and entry went well too. Nice security! Unfortunately it takes forever to get drinks. You also have to hand in the glasses with a deposit stamp. Unfortunately, this is not really customer-friendly. This needs to be organized better.

You really tried hard. But queuing for 40 minutes is just too long. The mood was not dampened by the German team's victory.

Change the guards. 06/29/24 It's bad when you come with your friends and the security guard greets you with words: 1 Show me your backpack 2 Are you okay? 3 Is there a bottle in the backpack? (was with water) 4 Listen, if you're in a bad mood, it's better if you go yourself now. You can only make a first impression once. Your security guards ruin the impression of your facility I and the whole group went with me.

Beautiful summer species. The burger was pretty dry, the fries were tasty. Prices for drinks and food are quite high considering that it takes quite a long time to get it and it is only self-service.

The beer garden decreases more and more every year. The food and drinks become more expensive, but the quality decreases. The burger, for example, tastes bland, the patty on it is tiny and looks more like a meatball. The waiting time for drinks and food is incredibly long.

Public viewing was ok in itself, unfortunately the only TV at the Germany game wasn't working properly with lots of picture dropouts. In addition, the only screen in the viewing area is partially covered by a rain/parasol. Annoying and shouldn't be there.

The beer garden is disappointing, they just seem to be processing the guests. If the 0.5 beer for €5.20 isn't even filled to the mark and the 0.2 Aperol Spritz for €7.20 is served in a dirty glass, then the "tip" signs aimed at the guests' conscience also help is good for karma" not much. The pizza wasn't a bit better than a frozen pizza from the supermarket. Overall, a number to forget. 🙈

I really like the place, but after complaining because they charged me a large beer and half the glass was just head, they said they knew better and told me to go away... Pictures are only AFTER complaining and the bartender adjusting it twice! Outrageous

We were with you again and were again very satisfied. Thank you that everything worked out so easily and uncomplicated. Unfortunately this time our burgers were cold and small. The salads and everything else were super delicious. The staff and service were very good, although yesterday it was very, very crowded for the European Championship games. We would love to come back.

I went to celebrate my birthday, we were more than 20 people and everything was very easy. Excellent Service, staff very friendly and willing to assist us. Super recommended!

Unfortunately the food was very bad. The salad was very sandy, the bread had definitely been cut for a while as some of the slices were dried out and the chicken strips were barely fried and therefore tasteless. In addition, there was smoking almost everywhere, which isn't exactly great when it comes to eating, there didn't seem to be a non-smoking area, and the meal took a long time, even though it was only half full. Unfortunately very disappointing. Maybe it was a bad evening during the European Championships.

Whenever I want to gather a larger group of people I actually go to the summer garden. It's a good idea. The atmosphere is very nice, well-kept classic beer garden. The food and drinks are great and the staff is very friendly and smart. I can recommend it. Even if you want to enjoy the summer in a small group or as a couple. Feet in the sand, or on the grass, with your pumps on the wooden platform, or on the terrace in a more sheltered place when the weather is not so good... everything is possible. I find it particularly practical to be able to make reservations online, even for larger groups. I've done it a few times and it always works very well. Thumbs up!

There is an event location at the back that can be rented for private events with a separate entrance. I can't say much here, except that the sound wasn't quite ideal, but all the employees were very friendly The beer garden is at the front. You line up to order and pick up when the beeper rings. All employees were very friendly. Food was okay, I even got extra sauce. Unfortunately, further special requests could not be entered into the system. But actually you come for the beer. That was great too!! Music was strangely quiet didgeridoo music. Maybe a mistake too? There is also a covered area which is great in the German summer. Overall, you could definitely get more out of the location. But it's quite nice, the location is very good I'm excited to see what they'll do in the winter
