Fährhaus Saatwinkel in Berlin

Gute Nachrichten für alle Personen mit Glutenunverträglichkeit oder Zöliakie!!! Das Fährhaus Saatwinkel hat die Speisekarte im April 2026 auf nahezu vollständig glutenfrei umgestellt. Die Zubereitung der gf Speisen erfolgt in einer separaten Küche. Im Angebot gibt es zahlreiche Speisen, wie Schnitzel, Fischbrötchen, Pinsa oder selbst gebackenen Kuchen; alles in glutenfrei. Aktuell wird auch eine glutenfreie Biersorte angeboten. Vielen Dank, für die Möglichkeit so unbeschwert genießen zu können.🤍 Glutenfrei, gluten frei, coeliac disease

Was sind wir enttäuscht, es sah heute aus, als wären wir auf einem Hinterhof gelandet mit ein paar Tischen. Am Wasser stehen noch die Gartenstühle, so hatten wir es in Erinnerung. Mittlerweile gibt es nur Selbstbedienung mit wenig Auswahl und muss am Tresen bestellt werden. Unsere Speisen sind viel zu teuer gewesen 🙈, dazu die Getränke und 45 Euro waren weg. Sorry für unseren Eindruck, aber hier war es wirklich mal angenehmer. Schade, so ein Biergarten ohne Flair macht keinen Spaß mehr.

Die Location liegt schön, Essen- und Kuchenauswahl ist eher mager, dazu noch Selbst- bedienung. Ist nicht so mein Fall.

Liegt vielleicht etwas versteckt aber zum Glück machte am 1.Mai Musik auf diesen super Biergarten aufmerksam. Man sitzt mit grandiosem Blick und es gibt eine großartige glutenfreie Kuchenauswahl. Und auch das sonstige Angebot macht Lust öfter wiederzukommen!

Absolute Herzensempfehlung und das nicht nur, weil wir hier 2023 unsere Hochzeit gefeiert haben…sondern auch, weil die Küche einfach fabelhaft ist, die Fondues lecker (und gesellig), das Personal super nett und zuvorkommend und der Blick auf den Tegeler See jedes Mal zum Entspannen einlädt. Wir haben im Sommer 2025 mit ca. 70 Gästen unsere Hochzeit in dieser traumhaften Location gefeiert – und es war einfach perfekt. Die Lage mit direktem Blick aufs Wasser ist traumhaft, der große Sommerpavillon war ideal für unsere Feier und sorgte für eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Lars als Veranstalter und unser "Wedding Planer" hat wirklich alle unsere Wünsche umgesetzt – und sogar übertroffen. Von der Planung bis zum letzten Detail fühlten wir uns jederzeit bestens betreut. Das Essen war ein echtes Highlight unserer Hochzeit: hervorragend abgestimmt, mit viel Liebe zubereitet und geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Unsere Gäste waren begeistert und haben das Essen durchweg gelobt. Auch das Getränkekonzept war perfekt – hochwertig und "all in". Kulinarisch blieben wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Beautiful beer garden right on the water. They have Peroni on tap, great! I had the 2 potato rösti with herring, beetroot, and sour cream and was disappointed. They were tiny and looked like they came from a convenience store. When the dish is called "2 potato rösti," I expect homemade rösti that's a bit larger. Disappointing for €16.50. The herring was delicious. Beetroot came in a small bowl with it. I voiced my criticism. The response was: thank you, I've taken note and will forward it.

A very nice beer garden right on the harbor with a view of the boats and Lake Tegel. It's self-service, but that's not a problem, as the bar is fast and the staff are very friendly. The schnitzel and herring were amazing! I've rarely eaten such a good schnitzel. They offer a different beer than usual, which I found very interesting. All rooms are wheelchair accessible. There is a disabled restroom. In summary: Highly recommended!

We just had our confirmation celebration there. Lars is a fantastic host. He accommodates all requests in advance and implements them to the best of his ability! The location is beautiful for celebrations. Right on the water, with a covered pavilion. The service staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating; I've rarely experienced anything like it. Lars was always there, invisible. If someone wanted to give a speech, he would be there with a microphone and turn the music down. And the food was unbelievably delicious! The sous vide fillet was a dream – the chicken was buttery tender and juicy – ​​and the homemade bread was delicious and crispy. All of our guests were absolutely thrilled and didn't want to leave. We say thank you! It was fantastic!

Today, after a long absence, we visited the Fährhaus to treat ourselves to an excellent sour cream herring with homemade fried potatoes and a fresh side salad. Unfortunately, we could only relive our memories, as the kitchen (new tenant???) had changed so much. Instead of fried potatoes, we were served two small potato cakes (after less than 5 minutes of "preparation time"), the herring looked sad, and the fresh salad had been replaced with beetroot from a packet. It all smells very much like convenience food, which is a no-go for €16.50. We're now sitting in the neighboring restaurant, the Jägerhäuschen, to tuck into a perfectly cooked herring.

GREAT!! 🫶🏻 We were here for a birthday party. The location is charming in its own way. The mix of indoor and outdoor areas with a view of the water – wonderful. 👍🏻 The service was very friendly and attentive. Empty glasses were constantly noticed and new drinks were brought immediately. 🤗 The food was a kind of grill buffet. I'd say it was the best beef fillet I've ever eaten. WOW! 😍 The ice cream bar was especially enjoyable for the kids. All in all, a successful evening. We would love to come back 🤩

Price performance a bit too expensive you pay for the view of water and boats.food is ok but the price...you can't talk about the service you have to get the card to order in the restaurant you get an alarm clock and when it goes on you go back to the restaurant but if you pay straight away when you order you should clear the dishes yourself...that's the service...they are nice but with the prices you want to be served.clean toilets...parking spaces are hardly any free

We honestly wonder how this restaurant can even survive. Once again - today, on a public holiday at 7 p.m. - we stood in front of closed doors. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated case: We have been trying to come here again and again since last summer, especially because we have a garden in the immediate vicinity. But even in the best weather it is closed. It's a shame, but after today it was our last attempt. Answer to the answer from the ferry house: Dear team, As already mentioned, unfortunately it wasn't the first time that we stood in front of closed doors - and that in very pleasant temperatures, over 15 degrees. Should it really be necessary to have to call a restaurant at peak dinner time just to make sure it's open? From our point of view, this should be a given – especially in the evening, when many guests expect the doors to be open. When we arrived yesterday we met two people who also wanted to visit you. As we were leaving, we also met another group of five people who described similar experiences and also often stood in front of a closed door and said that unfortunately it was standard practice. We would like to give you this feedback, but we will refrain from visiting in the future. It's a shame, but we don't have to eat with you - and we still wish you all the best.

Unfortunately, our visit did not quite meet our expectations. Communication was generally fine, although there were some misunderstandings when ordering and it seemed that the staff were overwhelmed at some moments. So none of us were served the plates we ordered and we had to remind them several times about the drinks, which led to longer waiting times. Regarding friendliness, in some cases there was behavior that may have been perceived as less professional, but this only applied to two people. All other employees were friendly and accommodating. We understand that being overwhelmed can happen, but in this case a more professional approach to communicating with guests would have been desirable. Perhaps the impression will improve on a future visit - if there is another time.

We were here as part of our company Christmas party. The fondue was very tasty and an experience.

Unfortunately I had to reduce it from a five star rating to a two star rating. There are only two stars because the service was really good and the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately, there isn't much left of the once almost perfect cheese fondue. I've never experienced a cheese fondue that drips off the bread and doesn't pull any strings. And not only that… the taste has gone from heavenly to eatable. Very unfortunate *P.S. We expressed our displeasure about the bad cheese fondue right in the store and honestly, if you have a bad product, it's better not to offer it at all. And by the way, criticism and praise are always expressed publicly... that's what the reviews here are for.

We were really looking forward to the fondue, even though it cost a fortune. What we got, however, is a disaster. Each of the cheese fondues was just bad!!! Slightly lumpy, it was more like a bad sauce. The cheese didn't bind. And whoever pulls the strings has unfortunately completely lost. The location is good, but that's about it... The prices are simply outrageous for what is on offer! All finished products! Ready-made tarte flambée (perfect rectangle) not fully baked. Potato rösti are Norma-BILLIG potato thalers. Sour cream or something similar is slapped onto the plate as remoulade... well. Dear operators, I'm sorry but the customer doesn't need something like that! Do it differently or leave it!

The view in the beer garden is really nice and you have a nice view of Lake Tegel, but eating is not recommended. All three dishes consisted exclusively of ready-made products and tasted rather poor. Too bad.

We celebrated a wedding in the Fährhaus and it was a lovely celebration. The food was delicious (the low-cooked meat in particular was an absolute delight), the service staff enjoyed their work, were attentive and approachable, and the location by the water evokes romance. Highly recommended!

We were guests for a larger celebration (closed party). Therefore we can't say much about general hospitality on normal days and the stars mainly refer to this event. The location was nicely decorated and generally offered a nice environment and various smaller corners for quiet conversations, despite the number of guests. The staff was very attentive and also looked after children lovingly. The food was exceptionally good and there was something for everyone.

Lars' experience and his tips on our ideas and wishes were very valuable. Sympathetic, sensitive, calming and very, very attentive. For us and unanimously for everyone! Everything was perfect for our guests. The entire team was incredibly friendly, approachable and attentive. From the table decorations, to the cocktail reception, to the photo box, DJ, ice cream stand, projector - everything was organized wonderfully and calmly. Even the harshest critics were full of praise for the fantastic grill buffet. We had such an exuberant, informal party where everything was just right. We and I'm sure many of our guests will come back, and we'll also love fondue in winter. Thanks !! 🙏

An incredibly beautiful location. A bit remote, but that's exactly why it's cozy and private and familiar. The food is incredibly good, the service is incredibly friendly and extremely quick and attentive. I was there for a closed event, but I would definitely like to come back when it's normal.

Anyone planning their event (whether a wedding or something else) is in the very best hands with Lars and Steffi. Lars pursues his vision of making people's dreams of celebration come true. We looked at some locations and organizers in Berlin and the surrounding area in advance. Lars was the only one who was really interested in our story and our idea. Who was not only open to what we dreamed of, but also actively complemented our thoughts and needs. But without being intrusive. We felt how important it was to him that we spend a perfect day with friends and families. Lars is 1000% reliable before, during and after the celebration, so you can enjoy the day worry-free. He provides unusually good food, has great contacts with DJs, knows a lot about drinks and gives you very good advice. He thinks about things that we would never have thought of beforehand, but that could get bumpy during a celebration (e.g. the question of how well the children's guests will be looked after). Lars knows exactly what he is doing and is very approachable, warm and lively. Absolute recommendation!

Self-service means that the tables are not wiped and the ashtrays are not emptied? It's nice there, but the beer garden can do with a little effort, as it's expensive enough.

Dieses Restaurant wenn man es so nennen kann ist es nicht wert es zu betreten. War vorhin dort, man wird noch nicht einmal eines Blickes gewürdigt,und der an der Kasse sitzt vertreibt den letzten Kunden. An den Besitzer (Betreiber)..Wenn ihr Mitarbeiter hinterher ruft auf solche Kunden könnte er verzichten, frage ich mich welche er um die Mittagszeit meinte,wäre der einzige Kunde gewesen!

The service staff is nice, but over time they have developed an arrogance towards me that I don't like as a customer. Now there are arbitrary opening times. First you have to pay at the counter (like at Burger King) because there is no longer any service staff, and of course you have to pick it up when it's ready, the quality of the schnitzel is below all standards. You don't even get fried potatoes anymore, just fries. Here the customer is the last straw and is treated as such. If it were still tasty at the end you could overlook one or two things, but it doesn't. Back to the tenant You didn't pass on the VAT reduction to us customers during the pandemic, but you collected it, and are you telling us customers that we now have to pay it again? So in conclusion, in my opinion, keep driving, eat somewhere else and you will be happier like you are here. Wedding in the ferry house Steffi, Lars and the Fährhaus team gave us a wonderful day! The whole festival was tailored to us through a few preliminary discussions and agreements in advance, so that it simply felt harmonious, authentic and right for us. It was our celebration, which was relaxed, exhilarating and complete despite the rain! The ambience by the water was immediately relaxing; everything was arranged in such a way that the guests were free to divide up as they wished and come together at the same time, which created a very relaxed and at the same time festive atmosphere. This was accompanied by a beautiful decoration. The food was great and was repeatedly mentioned positively by the guests, even after the wedding! Lars took care of the timing, which allowed us as the bride and groom to immerse ourselves in the events. Great “beer garden”. On the water, quiet and cozy. The food was delicious for everyone and was worth every euro (fried fish, salad, the special fries, the schnitzel,…). It's a bit more expensive, but it's really very tasty. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good beer garden nearby.

We celebrated our wedding at the Fährhaus in May. The day was perfect. Lars was able to fulfill all wishes, was super nice and helpful and the service was absolutely brilliant. Everyone was super committed and we felt totally comfortable. The food was fabulous. All expectations were exceeded. All guests were thrilled with the food. I can only recommend the Fährhaus Saatwinkel. We had nothing to complain about and I'm so happy we were able to enjoy this special day. Rarely have I felt so comfortable. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable for the place and the service is great. Self-service is the order of the day here. The people are super nice and respond to all kinds of requests. The ambience is simply awesome.

As part of a private celebration last weekend, we had a first-class evening as a larger group at the Fährhaus Saatwinkel. Great restaurant, visited on July 5th.

On July 5th We got married there and everything was more than overwhelming. Many of our guests have described it as the best food served at a wedding and the service was also top notch. We celebrated our daughter's wedding in the ferry house. The location is great. And the event was a complete success. Simply fantastic from the planning, implementation, execution and orchestration. Here all wishes were fulfilled and beyond. Lars and Steffi basically read every wish from their eyes. The food was a dream and the hospitality from the very attentive, dedicated crew was outstanding. Many thanks to the whole team. You are our first address for the next events.

We celebrated our son's wedding there. The food was great and filling. Everything went smoothly. The owner made everything possible. He had an eye on everything during the celebration, but was not visible or intrusive. We can recommend it without reservations.
