In addition to the dumpling restaurant, there is a new dumpling address for me in Berlin. Super tasty Bavarian dumplings with a modern side dish. Great service and a small city oasis in the backyard in a beer garden atmosphere. And that directly on the Schlesi. Highly Recommended!

Typically Kreuzberg... colorful ambience. Super delicious dishes with a variety of dumplings to choose from, served with salad and the eye eats too. Friendly service. Definitely want to try more!

La cuisine était très bonne et copieuse. Les brezenknodel, la sauce goulash et les accompagnements étaient excellents ; d'autant plus, le chef était amical et nous a bien reçus.

Has some delicious vegan options on the menu of Bavarian knödel! Had a vegan potato-green garlic knödel with goulash topping and salad. Very cozy little shop with nice atmosphere in its small outdoors seating area.

Ich hatte einen Kartoffelknödel mit veganem herzhaften Gulasch. Das war extrem lecker! Super gewürzt, richtig deftig, frische Zutaten, hausgemacht. Top. Ich werde gerne wieder kommen, um die anderen veganen Soßen auch noch zu kosten. Noch toller wäre, wenn man den Knödel im daran anschließenden Biergarten essen könnte ;)

Food looks amazing, why 2 stars? There are 3 separate papers you need to track when ordering (prices/options/combos with sauces) and I didn't catch the price correctly - my bad honestly. Yet this is street food, and we're talking about knödel (dumplings), not fine dining. Well, for 15€ - which is what you see in the picture - you get half a plate of plain salat with a few raw carrot/beetroot pieces, a bigger potato dumpling (rather tasteless) and a yummier but rather small spinach dumpling. You can't be full despite ordering the "full" meal, and if you aren't new to Berlin 15€ opens the doors to amazing street food options (BBI, Senegambia, Darfur, Han West, Pancho Villa, Mmaah,Nacthigall,Baraka, bloody Zola - all within ~1km radious from Dumpler Knödel) while spending even less. It's really hard to believe that some boiled spinach/potato balls with green salat can cost 15€ (one Knödel is 8€!). The second star of the review is because it wasn't an unhealthy dinner, so it's a plus. Though it's not what you're looking for when you want street food, oder? This is my honest review - learn from my mistake :)

we went there early november as google maps stated they were open, and I couldn't find any contradicting information on their website or social media neither. But unfortunately, this place is only open during the summer months so it seems …

Die leckeresten Knödel die ich je gegessen habe! Dazu ein frischer Salat mit nicht zu viel Dressing und dazu gab es für uns die leckere Linsen-Soße. Wir sind begeistert. Und dazu noch ein super Typ! Leider stimmen die Öffnungszeiten bei Google nicht und wir standen heute vor verschlossenen Türen (waren um 16:30 da, Öffnungszeiten laut Google ab 14:30).

Bardzo przyjemne miejsce z dobrym jedzeniem i zielonym, kameralnym ogródkiem. Przemiła obsługa.

"Knödel-Ali" macht super leckere Knödelvarianten, außerdem leckere Pommes und Salat dazu. Die Bar/Biergarten Banja Lucka, wo seine Küche steht, ist noch einer der immer weniger werdenden coolen und entspannten Berliner Szeneorte. Vor allem im Sommer sehr zu empfehlen. Am Wochenende legen auch häufig DJs auf und man kann tanzen.

Super tasty hand made fries and knödel (Bavarian dumpling).

The fries are called "Jesus fries" because they are blessed by god himself while they're made. That's the reason why they are so amazing. Must be. Excuse the semi-blurry photo, I could barely walk back to the office with these in my hand - the temptation to sit on the ground and cram them in my mouth was overwhelming.

Absolut mega leckere Knödel - sowohl herzhaft als auch süß. Die Eigentümer sind auch extrem nett . Einziger kleiner Abstrich vielleicht : die Germknödel kommen leider ohne Vanillesoße

The fries were delicious and the dumplings are great! You have a lot of options (approximately 4 different dumplings that you can mix and match with 4/5 different sauces) where you can create your own „dumpling experience“. 😁 So good to be back outside exploring these kind of places! 👌🏼

Dümpler Knödel bietet über das Internet eine schon vor dem Besuch lesbare, übersichtlich gestaltete Karte mit den Angeboten (die Auswahl ist dem Zweck des Restaurants entsprechend etwas einseitig), der Geschmack des Essens ist einfach unbeschreiblich, welch Nette Bedienung.

Super Laden!!! Der Inhaber ist ein angenehmer lockerer Typ und sehr nett. Das Essen ist suuuuuper lecker! Mein Favorit ist der Spinatknödel mit Linsencurry und die Pommes sind auch erste Sahne. Als Beilage zu den Knödeln wird ein Salat serviert, der auch super frisch und lecker ist. Leider ist der Laden sehr versteckt und wir haben ihn erst 2 Jahre nach Eröffnung bemerkt. Also Leute: unbedingt probieren!!!

Wirklich toller Laden mit außerordentlich freundlichem Besitzer und hervorragenden Knödeln, auch vegan. Man kann vorne sitzen oder im gemütlichen Biergarten. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen!

Eine schöne Alternative zu dem gängigen Fast-Food. Und außerdem vegetarisch.

Leckere Knödel. Man kann aus verschieden Knödeln wählen. Es gibt süße und herzhafte Varianten. Den gewählten Knödel, z.B. Spinatknödel oder Semmelknödel, kann man mit verschiedenen Soßen kombinieren. Dazu gibt es leckeren Beilagensalat. Das Ganze ist wirklich gut hat einen fairen Preis. Auch die Pommes und Bratwurst sahen lecker aus. Man sitzt supernett im gemütlichen Biergarten. Getränke holt man sich bei Banja Luka.

Prima plek vlakbij de Oberbaumbrücke voor een snelle lunch. De gelegenheid doet zich voor als 'alternatief' of 'anti-kraak'. Waarschijnlijk ooit begonnen als eetkar maar inmiddels zijn de eetkarren permanent geworden en veranderd in een mini restauratie met een redelijk groot terras op de binnenplaats. Het geserveerde eten is prima. Het meubilair is oud en niet heel comfortabel. Maar de sfeer is dan wel weer heel erg leuk. Het lijkt een populaire plek om te lunchen voor de kantoren hier omheen. Al met al zeker het bezoeken waard. Een groene alternatieve oase in druk Berlijn met lekker eten.

Precioso bier garten. Muy bien cuidado y muy original. Si visitas Alemania tienes que tomarte algo en uno de estos lugares. Estos jardines preparados para beber o comer algo son estupendos. Sobre todo en verano!

Delicious knoedel. If you don't know what that is, you have to try it ! It's a typical german dish (a sort of mix between dumplings and gnocchis) If the garden is open, eat them there, it's a really nice place to relax.

Had two Knödel für lunch and thought they were pretty fantastic, the Brezelknödel with creamy mushroom and cranberry sauce being the standout. Given the place's location I'm sure I'll be back sometime late at night and whilst thoroughly inebriated.

Beer garden vibe! Sitting outside. On the one side you got the bar and on the other you got Dumplings (not asian dumplings) and fries. You choose the dumpling (only one vegan option) and the souse (4 vegan options) and you god to go. Great vibe, chill atmosphere (in a good way)

Cours intérieure. Choix de 1 ou 2 Knödel faits avec une base différente et accompagnés de « sauces » différentes. Salés et sucrés. Bon marché et bon. On reste volontiers et on commande facilement plus. Les frites sont aussi bonnes ;-)

One of the best Bavarian dumplings!!! The food was fresh and delicious. It was located in a nice area with a ping pong table. Great place to chill with friends with great food! The owner is also super nice and welcoming!! We visited this place twice already and will be back again definitely!

Ein liebevoll gestalteter Ort der Erholung und der kreativen Knödelei. Freundlicher Service, exzellenter "Beilagensalat" und Preise wie in den 90ern. Jederzeit wieder!

Ein ruhiger Hinterhof am Tage, ein lebendiges Treiben AM Abend. Bei meinem Besuch an einem Samstagabend gab es ein Livekonzert. Klasse. Das Essen ist lecker. Die Knödel von herzhaft bis süß sind durchweg empfehlenswert. Die Pommes sind auch extrem gut. Nicht so matschig wie von den Fastfood-Ketten.

Wow! We were reluctant but this was such a nice surprise. Vegetables we're crisp and fresh and the dumplings we're incredible. I'm not a fan of dumplings and I LOVED this place. Give it a try. It's charming and you'll feel great about it.

Breznknödel mit vegetarischem Gulasch ist eine Wucht, nur ein tick zu scharf geraten für meinen Geschmack. In Selbstbedienung wird er auf einer Pappschale mit Holzgsbel und einem kleinen Salat serviert. Sieht äußerst appetitlich aus und schmeckt hervorragend. Hinten Biergarten. Best dumplings I have had in Berlin. Two of us shared a potato and a spinach dumpling with the beet ginger sauce and the lentil sauce ( at the recommendation of the chef) most DELICIOUS !!! Don’t miss this quick little food stop in the Kreuzberg area.

Our impromptu friends trip to Berlin was stellar and full of surprises like this little tucked away gem. We had spent the day walking around Kreuzberg, visiting the Turkish Market and Hard Wax records amongst many sites. During our travels we ended up in front of Knödel Kitchen looking for something to eat and quench our thirst...hours of walking will leave you parched and hangry. If you don't pay attention you might walk right past as the doorway blends inconspicuous between brightly painted walls. Luckily the sidewalk sign grabbed my attention and the idea of bavarian dumplings piqued our collective interests. Stepping through the door you come out into a covered area with seating against the sides that opens up into a courtyard. One one side is a beverage stand with a variety of beers and drinks...cold and reasonably priced, what more could you ask for? On the other side of the courtyard is Knödel Kitchen, home of my first Bavarian dumpling. I won't pretend to be an expert but I thought it was delicious! A nice little variety of dumplings and sauces meant that we each tried something unique. I had the spinach dumpling with beet and ginger sauce and it was as tasty as it looks. If you find yourself in the area, and are looking for somewhere to have a drink and snacks with friends, maybe play a game of table tennis, it’s definitely worth stopping for.

Fresh healthy food. They offer homemade knödel (dumplings) in modern versions that are really good. There are also vegan knödels. The service is very good. Definitely worth trying.

Nice owner, nice music, good beer to be picked up in the beerlocation two steps away. Great gem in exploring Kreuzberg. Vego, but not sure about the vegans.

The perfect place after a long day. You can sit in the garden drink a beer. You will find a lot of happy people. Plus in the garden there is a table tennis equiped with all the necessary to play with friends
