-5⭐️ The four of us went bowling and wanted to take the opportunity to eat something together. Everyone had different dishes. Immediately after eating we all suffered from stomach cramps and nausea. Two of them felt so bad that they vomited and had diarrhea. The night was horror and the symptoms resembled food poisoning. The responsible health authority has been informed. Conclusion: bowling yes, eating no! Conclusion 2: at the KIBO health department A stool test was carried out for various germs. The Noro virus was confirmed by this location. Threatened? Because we can still laugh WITHOUT alcohol and drugs? (We only ordered non-alcoholic drinks on site) OK. Drunk and in a good mood, yes 🥳

Since other rooms were fully booked or used as a vaccination center, we moved to the Jahnturnhalle for an event. It was clear to us that with up to 82 people expected, catering à la carte would be a challenge. The innkeeper rejected our suggestion to put out a small card - we could do it. Of course, it was clear that the participants in our event would have to accept waiting times, but that wasn't a problem for our people. But we didn't expect what happened that evening: 1. A large number of the dishes on the menu laid out on the tables could not be ordered from the start 2. Some guests had to wait 3 hours for their food. This was not only due to the poor kitchen crew (the restaurant upstairs was probably also busy), but also because the landlord brought out the food all by himself. Every now and then he would show up with just one dish and then not even know which table it had to go to. Out of desperation, the last guest then took what was brought - even though he had ordered something else. 3. The fact that the innkeeper demanded an additional fee of "up to €150" on top of the rent we paid to the city, even though he would have the chance of good sales through us, was upsetting to us, but we had yes, no other choice. In the evening he asked our cashier €200 for putting 12 folding tables with 6 chairs each in the gym. At least the tables were still covered with a cheap roll of paper tablecloth. 4. Our event started at 7:00 p.m. At some point, it wasn't even 10:30 p.m. and the last guests had just received their food, staff began to clear the hall, i.e. to push out the chairs from the already empty tables. There were still 3 tables well occupied! THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS !!! Or should we now say that we paid well for it with the €200 (see above)? Well, anyway, we packed up our elaborate hall decorations and we were off again around 11 p.m. 5. The guests had to pick up their drinks at the counter themselves, which is not a point of criticism. However, after the first drinks were at the tables, suddenly higher prices were charged. And the drinks weren't exactly given away at the beginning. But no matter, all that remains is the aftertaste that it was probably opened again. Wouldn't have been mentioned here if the rest had been true. What Kirchheimbolanden residents didn't believe us the following day: The food was okay to good. Nevertheless: If we made mistakes during our three-day event in Kirchheimbolanden, the biggest one was going to the Jahnturnhalle.

We were there once for line dancing training. Friendly staff, large hall, good floor for dancing 😉
