Friedemann'Z - Bar & Bistro in Kirchheimbolanden

We always enjoyed our time at Café Bahnhof/Friedemann'Z. Unfortunately, the bistro is closing permanently at the end of the year. Thank you for the great food, the delicious cocktails and other drinks, and the lovely ambiance. All the best for the future!

The food tasted okay. It still lacked that certain "wow" quality. We had a non-alcoholic Pina Colada with it, which was really delicious. The only downside was that you had to shower afterward because you smelled so much of grease.

Formerly called "Café Bahnhof," it was rather so-so over the years; the breakfast had become truly unacceptable... I gave it another chance and was pleasantly surprised. It was really busy, and they were able to "push" us ahead of the group order. I had a Buddha bowl with glass noodles and warm peanut sauce (vegetarian version with falafel for €13), which seemed to take a while to arrive, but the little wait was definitely worth it. It was absolutely delicious! The service was very friendly, young, and a bit unsure :) I think I'll be a repeat offender. Update 10/2023: I've been here several times... The food is delicious, but unfortunately, not everything is on the menu, which might make it difficult to decide ;) Otherwise, the service was still very friendly and discreetly attentive.

Great service, great host, good food. Points deducted for the noise level. So if you like it quiet, you probably shouldn't come... Additional information: since my review still refers to the previous owner, there have been some changes. The noise level is now much more bearable. Unfortunately, there's still no option to pay with an EC card. It's amazing how that still exists... when every chip shop has a card reader these days. Apparently, there are problems with the internet. Instead, every guest is expected to have sufficient internet reception. Unfortunately, there's only an ugly barcode. Then I have to decipher what I want on a much too small display. Personally, I find this new innovation simply stupid. So, it remains a point deduction.

Our group of 10 wanted to end a long day at work with a good meal. We arrived shortly before 6 p.m. Full of anticipation, we immediately ordered the mixed appetizer three times. Only after several requests did the appetizers finally arrive after more than an hour and a half. The main course then arrived after a total of two hours. Which, of course, isn't ideal, especially when sitting outside in September. Unfortunately, the medallions, which were supposed to come with a creamy mushroom sauce, didn't have it. When we asked about it, we were told the pasta had been tossed in it. This was rather disappointing, as some of the medallions were a bit dry. The tarte flambée was simply pizza dough topped with tarte flambée and was far too greasy. Again, when we inquired about this, we were told that they've been making it this way for 25 years. Very disappointing. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The wait was unbearable (two hours for the main course). The food was burnt, and the medallions with cream sauce were absolutely awful. They clearly skimp on the sauce. We had to wait 20 minutes for a simple Coke. I will never set foot in that dump again!

Once and never again. We waited two hours for our appetizer. Pasta without sauce, cold...horrible!! Sorry, not recommended.

Das Ambiente super! Der Salat für 14 Euro mit Scampi auf Spieß am Spieß wie auch immer lagen daneben. Bei meinen Kollegen waren bei diesen Preis auch noch unansehliche Blätter mit dabei. Was ich nicht so toll fand. LG Bianca

Best cheese burger I had in Europe (easily beats a lot of burger places in the USA as well): slightly crispy & charged on the outside. Soft, juicy and perfectly cooked in the middle.

Lekker gegeten, Italiaanse gerechten op z'n Duits en heerlijke flammkuchen.

War überrascht wie dieses Restaurant sich verändert hat. War nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Neuer Inhaber, etwas farblich aufgefrischtes Ambiente und fast identisch Speisekarte. 🍕🍔🍟🌶🫑🥒🍹🍺 Selbst das eine oder andere Personal kennt man noch. Hat sich auch nicht viel geändert 🙂 Als erstes wird nach einer Reservierung gefragt. 2 Personen zu früher Stunde ohne Reservierung kein Problem. Später ?? Das bestellte Essen war lecker und hat auch nicht lange gedauert( früh dort)

Für ein Bahnhofsbistro ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Gelungenes und stimmiges Design. Gefällt mir sehr gut 👍. Der Service war durchgehend sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Schnelle, freundliche Bedienung. Das Essensangebot ist vielschichtig und hinreichend. Für jeden etwas dabei.

Was für eine köstliche Pizza. Das letzte Mal in Düsseldorf so gute Pizza gegessen. Atmosphäre ist super wir kommen definitiv wieder. Fotos darein machen.

Sehr schöne Kneipe in ehemaligem Bahnhof. Außerordentlich freundlicher Service. Pizza mit knusprigem Boden und nicht übersalzen wie sonst oft . Ganz tolle Atmosphäre durch gute Lichtverhältnisse. Geeignet für ein romantisches Treffen und auch für Freundestreffen.

Wahren zum Brunchen Sonntags dort auf Vorreservierung ( empfohlen!). Naja, der Brunch liegt im Auge des Betrachters! Für 18 Euro etwas mehr Fantasie erwartet. D.h. warmes Essen gab es Wienerwurst, Nürnberger Würstchen, Kroketten wo ich dachte das währen Chicken Nuggets, Leberkäse mit einem Spiegelei und gebackene Zwiebelringe, wo ich dachte es wären Calamaris😅!✋ Ansonsten 🤔gab es nichts warmes🤷🏻‍♀️! Den Rest des Buffets kennt man ja...Schale mit gebratenen Pilzen(kalt). Als Fisch gab es Lachshäppchen od.wahlweise Forelle. Kochschinken mit Spargel ( Dose/Glas) kalt! Marmelade und drei verschiedene Wurstarten. Obst-Salat dazu eine Mouse a Schokolade für darauf. Zwei drei Käse Sorten, Müsli Milch und Honig 🤷🏻‍♀️🆗 Trotz Leberkäse mit Ei und auch fertig gekochten Eiern, wurden wir am Tisch nochmals nach unserem Eierwunsch gefragt🤷🏻‍♀️😅✋.Darauf haben wir dann auch noch scrambled Eggs probiert.

Wir waren hier zum Brunchen. Es gab eine gute Auswahl, alles war liebevoll angerichtet und hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Ein sehr authentisches Lokal mit einer ganz eigenen Athmosphäre. Ein ehemaliger Bahnhof, umgebaut zu einem Restaurant. Leckeres veganes Essen und immer sehr nette Bedienungen.

Geschmacklich gut, aber für das Geld find ich die Portion klein und wenn man ausser Haus eine Pizza mitnehmen möchte, nehmen sie den vollen Preis, obwohl Mittwochs Pizzaabend ist. Habe ich noch nie erlebt sowas.

Sehr leckeres und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Freundliche, aufmerksame Bedienungen, schönes Ambiente, man fühlt sich wohl. Aufgrund Deckenhöhe und Bauart etwas laut, wenn es voll ist.

Das Bahnhof's Café hat ein sehr gutes und ausgewogenes Angebot. Sehr großes Frühstücksbuffet.

Schönes Ambiente, nette und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Sie machen wirklich tolle Pizza, Salate und Pizzabrote. Alles andere ist nur okay.

Wir waren gestern dort und haben uns durch die vegane Karte probiert. Ich war wirklich sehr begeistert, in Kibo so eine tolle und vor allem leckere Auswahl an veganen Speisen zu bekommen. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und die Bedienung sehr herzlich! Die Pizza ist der absolute Hammer und selbst im "veganen Paradies" Berlin schwer so zu bekommen. Bitte macht weiter so! Ich werde es jedem weiterempfehlen 🤗
