We ordered for pickup. The food was super delicious and prepared with love! We could even order via WhatsApp. That was really great. We'll definitely order again. A quick tip: the salad dressing was a bit lacking. We highly recommend this restaurant! 😊

Decent, simple restaurant with friendly service. I didn't eat there because the Italian restaurant Caruso next door had already "finished" me off in terms of food (as he defines it), in the truest sense of the word.

Six of us had dinner in the malt house and felt very comfortable there. The restaurant is very clean and you can tell that a lot of the furnishings and decoration have been updated. We were served very friendly, competent and attentive throughout the evening. The meal didn't take long and was simply delicious. The prices are fair and affordable. Everything was just right here, so it deserves 5 stars! We'll definitely be back!

By chance we passed the somewhat inconspicuous building next to the large malt house and after looking at the outside map we decided to go in. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful furnishings and the great ambience. Almost all tables were occupied, but we were lucky to get one. We chose spinach dumplings with tomatoes and sage butter as well as the homemade goulash soup, each with a side salad and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The service was also very nice and attentive, exactly as it should be. There was an excuse that it took a little longer, although it wasn't a problem for us. Everyone knows their job, from the cook to the waitress. The Mälzerei is a great, family-run restaurant where, in addition to the food and the lovingly decorated plants, you can tell that the owners love what they do and pass this on to their customers with passion. Therefore full marks and a happy: keep it up! We'll definitely come back.

We've been there several times recently with large groups. Everyone was very happy, the food was excellent and somewhat unusual. Will remain a loyal guest. I particularly liked the Riesling schnitzel👌 You also have to emphasize child-friendliness. My biggest thanks for that

Haven't been there for a while. New owners, new atmosphere. Food was really great. As a schnitzel lover, I got my money's worth. Our men's evening will probably have to take place there more often. Oh yes, and sorry that there are no pictures of the food...we were just too hungry that we simply forgot to take pictures🙈

We were there again after the change of ownership Unfortunately our reservation was not found at first. Then we had to wait until we were even served. Then unfortunately our drinks were booked for another table and we had to wait again. As a starter we had a side salad and grilled peppers that were really tasty but then the food for the kids came that was actually intended for another table and we adults had to wait again. The schnitzel and the rump steak looked and tasted great Unfortunately, at the end a waitress came and wanted to cash in because she had left out our table We didn't want to order anything anymore. We had the feeling that we were thrown out Too bad

We visited the restaurant with a group. The service was very friendly and attentive. In keeping with October, the service team chose dirndls as their outfit. We all enjoyed the food and it was reasonably priced. I can only recommend the malt house.

Excellent schnitzels, very good traditional cuisine. However, the schnapps could be a little cheaper and then they would sell.

Ambiance is also a matter of taste, so we were all the more enthusiastic about the service and quality, price-performance ratio was absolutely fine, very nice and attentive service.

Ate schnitzel with two small children. Very good service, food was very tasty. The waiting time was a bit long, but it was also at classic lunchtime. We would have liked the children's meal to have been brought forward. But that was the only downer. We'd love to come back.

Salads were tasty. The schnitzels quite small for German standards. Service wanted to clear the table while 1 person was still eating. Ok, but not special.

You immediately notice that only fresh ingredients are used. The price-performance ratio is also good. We will definitely come back and recommend the restaurant. We were here for the first time today. The service was great, our dogs were immediately taken care of (mats and water), and then we were very well looked after with delicious food and drink. We'll be back next year at the latest.

I received a very friendly welcome, but unfortunately there was only one failed communication after another. The turkey steak was advertised to us as the only meat dish that was neither beef nor pork, which we then took. But then we got the beef steak - even though we had asked for it in the meantime. Out of respect for the animal that died for it, we didn't let the dish go back. However, we were extremely disappointed that there was no compensation whatsoever - the steak was charged in full, and there wasn't even a small amount on the house as compensation - as is usual in many other restaurants when the service makes such mistakes. I don't know that. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing visit overall.

Super tasty Riesling schnitzel and very friendly service

The rump steak was a dream. The sauce was very tasty, everything was beautifully presented. Price-performance fits! The waitresses were attentive, friendly and accommodating. Were always present without being intrusive. The atmosphere is a bit old-fashioned in my opinion, but you come in and feel comfortable. Overall it was a nice evening with very good food.

I was in Kirchheimbolanden for work and the Mälzerei restaurant was recommended to me. I wasn't disappointed - on the contrary. The food was very tasty and there was also good wine. The service is very good and friendly. There should be more places like this again.

Sorry I can't give a good rating here. Were there for the company's Christmas party. The service staff was overwhelmed with the orders of the 15 people. Two rump steaks were good, the rest of the rump steaks and the deer meat were mixed and the portions were manageable, dumplings were mass-produced. The baked pepperoni were still almost raw and baked with cheese 😳. Price-performance ratio is not right. Definitely not going there again (almost everyone in our group) Atmosphere in the next room, well just next rooms. On the positive side, the toilet was pleasantly clean.

We had dinner after work after a long tiring day and it was delicious. The Riesling schnitzel was great and so was the sauerbraten! Thanks for that!

Unfortunately it took a long time for the drinks to be absorbed. It only got better after polite advice. The ambience wasn't anything special for me, but it was clean and you couldn't complain about anything However, the acoustics were terrible. The rooms are not big and the table opposite was full, you almost couldn't understand your own words... but that was also due to the inconsideration of other people. But the food was definitely very good.

Did not have certain menu articles for vegetarians. Portion was small, around us were kids yelling, it took a long time to be served even the restaurant was not full to capacity. The waitress was nice, food ok, nothing to write home about.

Wir waren mit unserer Gruppe "Aktiv und Unterwegs" (20 Personen) zum Mittagessen im Restaurant "Zur Mälzerei". Durch die perfekte Organisation von Frau Bergsträsser klappte alles wunderbar. Das Essen war qualitativ hervorragend, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt und der Service sehr schnell, aber trotzdem freundlich. Wir alle waren hochzufrieden und werden uns mal wieder kulinarisch verwöhnen lassen, wenn wir nach Kirchheimbolanden kommen. Herzlichen Dank für das "Verwöhnprogramm" in Ihrem Restaurant!

Hier wurde ich schnell und sehr freundlich bedient. Das Essen wurde schnell serviert und war vorzüglich. Kleine Änderungen waren kein Problem und wurden erfüllt.

Obwohl wir dachte kroatische essen zu gehen, wie wir im Internet gelesen hatten, waren wir super überrascht ein echt leckeres Menü zufinden, super freundliche Bedienung und guten Wein zu schlürfen. Frische "TORTELINI Gigante" waren lauwarm Und vermutlich aufgewärmt. Schnitzelgericht waren soweit ok. Wir waren im Juli da!

Endlich haben wir es mal geschafft, spontan in die Mälzerei zu gehen, nachdem der Pächter gewechselt hat. Haben kurzfristig noch einen Tisch bekommen, das Essen war wirklich lecker, da gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Kommen wieder.

Seit der Neueröffnung im Februar 2023 (durch die Familie Bergsträßer) endlich wieder gut bürgerliche Küche in Kirchheimbolanden

Sehr gemütlich. Nicht überladen.. Das Essen war sehr gut. 5 verschiedene Gerichte. Alle sehr zufrieden. Hervorragender Service. Klare Empfehlung.

Das Essen ist wirklich gut, jedoch sollte man sich vielleicht für die Speisekarte ein anderes Konzept ausdenken. Bei einer Umbestellung von Beilagen sollte man auf den Gast eingehen.

Heute 08.04.2023 vor 4 Wochen waren wir in der Mälzerei zum Essen ! Wie wir heute wieder feststellen müssen, ist und sind immer noch die Menü-Bilder des Vorbesitzers drin, die mit diesem Lokal der Mälzerei nichts zu tun haben ! Wir finden das unerhört und halten es für vorsätzliche betrügerische Handlung der Gaststätte Mälzerei ! Wir behalten uns vor, fals diese falschen Menübilder nicht sofort verschwinden, sie die Pächter der Mälzerei Anzuzeigen, wegen Vortäuschung falscher Tatsachen ! Es ist unglaublich, aber war !!! Wir waren Allen echt entäuscht, weil die Bilder zur Speisekarte überhaupt nichts mit der heutigen Mälzerei zu tun hat ! Das Essen war sehr Fade und sehr primitiv auf dem Teller zubereitet ! Wir hatten Jäger Schnitzel bestellt mit Pommes. Die Pommes konnte man abzählen und 8 Stück Pommes bei mir von insgesamt 26 hatten so schwarze stellen, wo man nie weiß, was es ist !? Das ist so bei der billigsten Qualität! Und die Soße war eine helle Rahmsoße sauer mit Champions aus der Dose ! War komisch und nicht gut ! DER Beilagsalat ist ein extra und kostet stolze 4,50€ bei 13,50 nur Schnitzel ! Wir gehen dort nicht mehr hin ! SCHADE !
