Extrem lecker! Definitiv das beste Sushi in der Umgebung. Nur zum empfehlen

Update 2026: Habe zum Mitnehmen 2x Sushi bestellt. Leider wurde beides in eine Verpackung gequetscht… Ingwer dementsprechend nur eine Portion, sowie Wasabi und zu wenig Sauce. Beim Abholen sah ich die neue „Dekoration“, dass mich sehr erschrocken hat. Mehrere Goldfische in einem Plastikblumenkübel! Fische ohne Pflanzen…auf engsten Raum :( Man kann die „Ecke“ auch besser nutzen. Update Sommer 2025: Leider schmeckt es nicht mehr so wie zuvor. Die Soße schmeckt anders, generell sind wir anderes hier gewohnt. Irgendetwas hat sich verändert und das leider nicht ins positive. Update Juni 2025: Preise sind gestiegen. Die H51 (8Stück) wurde von 13,50€ auf 14,90€ gesetzt. 1-2€ teurer! Wir haben Sushi zum Abholen bestellt, leider wurde alles in eine Box gepackt und es gab nur eine Portion Ingwer, anstatt 4 und es war auch nicht sehr anschaulich, wenn alles zusammen ‚gewürfelt‘ wird. _______________________________________ 2024: Sehr lecker! ❤️ Qualität TOP! Die Bowls sind sehr lecker mit dem Kokos-Curry & dem frischen Gemüse! Wir kommen fast jede Woche mindestens einmal zum Essen! Lieben das Essen, die Qualität…. Vorallem die H51 😃🫶🏻 Die Ente ist etwas fettig, da wäre eine Barbarie Ente die bessere Wahl, die man in die Karte aufnehmen sollte. Kleine Idee: Sesambällchen als Nachtisch wären auch schön:) Aber auch die gebackenen Bananen mit Vanilleeis sind sehr zu empfehlen! Manchmal muss man etwas warten, wenn viele Menschen vor Ort sind ABER: lange Wartezeiten gibt es sonst nicht! Aber eine Servicekraft mehr wäre von Vorteil, vor allem wenn ein Andrang absehbar ist (Frühlingserwachen , Residenzfest Kibo).

Sehr leckeres Sushi für einen fairen Preis! Wir waren zum Business Lunch in der Mittagspause dort und wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Nach der Bestellung ging es auch trotz anderer Hauptgeriche sehr schnell. Ich kann’s empfehlen -

Selten so schlecht Japanisch , Asiatisch gegessen ,Was der Herr uns da an den Tisch gebracht hat war Ente mit Erndnusssuppe statt Ernussoße .Wir hatten einmal Reis einmal Nudeln . Der Reis war ok , die Nudeln sahen aus wie Würmer diese wurden unter die Ente gepackt und darüber würde eine nicht definierbare Soße gepackt .Leider war Samstag Mittag und der Rest der Restaurant im Umreis hatte schlossen .

Ein wunderschön eingerichtetes Sushi-Restaurant. Es ist absolut sauber und verfügt über tolle Toiletten. Wir bestellten einfaches Sushi und wurden positiv überrascht von dem geschmackvollen, kunstvoll zubereiteten und großzügigen Portionen hochwertigen Sushis. Es ist fast Abendessenzeit und ich bin immer noch satt vom Mittagessen. 10/10 – ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Das Personal spricht auch gut Englisch.

Vor allem wegen des soliden leckeren Essens und der herzlichen Bedienung gibt es eine sehr gute Bewertung. Beim Ambiente hatte ich etwas gezögert, aber sowohl innen (etwas einfach gestaltet) als auch außen (herrlich am Marktplatz gelegen) lässt es sich gut sitzen. Die Speisekarte bietet einiges an Verlockungen, Curry mit Lachs und ein Mango-Lassi waren letztlich eine gute Wahl.

Toller Laden, sehr gutes Essen. Das Personal ist freundlich, allerdings sollte man Zeit mitbringen.

Bei der Hauptspeise fand ich die Saucen etwas zu viel in meinem Teryaki Gericht. Vorspeisen waren mega lecker. Sushi probiere ich das nächste Mal. Das Restaurant ist nett eingerichtet.

Wir waren heute mit fünf Personen in diesem Restaurant essen und sind leider sehr enttäuscht von unserem Besuch. Während des Aufenthalts haben wir lediglich höflich nach einem zusätzlichen Teller gefragt, damit wir ein Gericht besser teilen können. Darauf reagierte die Bedienung jedoch sehr ungehalten. Vor allen anderen Gästen wurde uns vorgeworfen, wir hätten uns respektlos verhalten. Anschließend sagte die Bedienung, wir könnten gehen. Diese Situation war für uns äußerst unangenehm und überraschend, da es aus unserer Sicht keinen Anlass für eine solche Reaktion gab. Ein respektvoller Umgang mit Gästen sollte selbstverständlich sein – gerade wenn ein Restaurant voll ist und Stress herrscht. Leider haben wir uns in diesem Moment weder ernst genommen noch willkommen gefühlt. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass man die Situation ruhig und professionell klärt. Stattdessen wurden wir vor anderen Gästen bloßgestellt. Schade, denn so bleibt von dem Besuch leider ein sehr negativer Eindruck zurück. Aufgrund dieser Situation können wir leider nur jedem davon abraten dieses Restaurant zu besuchen.

Waren heute das erste Mal bei Domäne. Wir sind eigentlich keine Sushi Fans. Deshalb hatten wir uns für die warmen Hauptgerichte entschieden und die waren alle mega gut. Der Chef gibt sich alle Mühe, ist sehr freundlich und die Preise sind total okay. Da gehen wir öfter hin bzw. bestellen uns kurzerhand was online.

Erster und definitiv letzter Besuch in diesem Lokal. Mit 2 Freunden und 3 Kindern. Lokal eiskalt. Auf den Toiletten war es sogar wärmer. Besitzer und Sohn total unfreundlich. Bereits bei der Getränke Aufnahme wurde gemeckert weil die Kinder sich nicht so schnell entscheiden konnten. „Das muss schneller gehen, das Lokal ist voll“ so die Aussage. Essen dauerte 1 1/2 Stunden. Kartenzahlung erst ab 40€ ! möglich. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Waren am Rosenmontag dort essen. Außer dem Salat war nichts der Zutaten frisch. Die Sushirollen klebten so zusammen, als wurden sie aufgetaut. Überall klebte die gleiche Mayonnaise und Ketchup Sojasauce drüber, ob Fisch oder Ente. Der Thunfisch war so trocken, als wäre er schon 3x gestorben. Leider nicht lecker.

Kein Personal da zum Bedienen und die Leute werden frühzeitig gebeten den lokal zu verlassen wegen Platz Mangel.

Das beste Sushi in Kibo. Das Essen und der Service waren hervorragend. Angemessener Preis für die gebotene Qualität. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir gehen seit der Eröffnung in dieses Sushi-Restaurant und sind Stammkunden. Das Essen ist hervorragend, besonders das Sushi. Die tempurierten Spezialitäten sind meine Favoriten. Der Service ist sehr gut, das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal.

Wir waren die ersten Gäste und es kamen auch mehrere Personen die bestelltes essen abgeholt haben. Möglicherweise war das etwas stressig sodas wir vergessen wurden. Wir erinnerten freundlich an unser dasein und ab da war unser Aufenthalt super und sehr schmackhaft. Wir hatten eine Platte für 2 Personen die absolut ausreichend war. Da wir unter Zeitdruck standen, sind wir zum bezahlen an die Theke gegangen. Es hängt auch ein Zettel im Restaurant das man sich für evtl. Wartezeiten entschuldigt, da noch Personal gesucht wird. Wir waren zufrieden und gehen sicher wieder hin!

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Restaurant mit vietnamesischen und japanischen Gerichten (Sushi), die alle wirklich lecker sind. Die großen gemischten Sushi-Platten werden auch kunstvoll dekoriert und machen auch optisch richtig Eindruck. Man kann die Sushi-Typen auch einzeln bestellen - für zwei Personen ist die große Platte seeehr üppig. Dazu eine schöne Pho Bo vorweg. Auf unsere Bitte hin wurde die Belüftung sofort reduziert. Guter Service.

Sehr hübsches und bequemes local. Beste Suppe die ich bisher gegessen habe. Sehr zufrieden hier gewesen.

Familienessen mit 8 Erwachsenen. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen. Der Service ist leider nicht so aufmerksam, aber sehr freundlich. Wenn etwas fehlt geht man am besten zum Ober, denn er schaut nur selten nach den Gästen.

First of all: We didn't try the food!!!!!! It might even be good. We went to the restaurant on a busy day. We sat down at a table and waited about 34,294,844 minutes, and we weren't even served. I understand that they had just opened and were extremely busy, but it took us too long!!!! They were too busy with takeout for me. Overwhelmed service. At least the atmosphere was very good. Recommendation: Just barely, but on an empty day!!!

Today, the five of us went out to eat in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the Residenzfest run. It was sooooo delicious. We had a mixed sushi platter, served at our table with "fog volcanoes." Not only delicious, but also a feast for the eyes. The bowl and curry were also very attractively presented and simply delicious (because I don't want to write "delicious" again). Plus the homemade lemonades or the mango lassi... We highly recommend it. Unfortunately, we couldn't have dessert; we were simply too full. To finish off, we had a traditional Vietnamese coffee—not to be missed.

The food at the restaurant was fresh, clean, and absolutely delicious. I was especially impressed by the Asian-inspired decor, which was designed and conceptualized by the owner herself. A restaurant with excellent food – everything is fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. The service is extremely friendly and helpful, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. The interior is elegant, with tasteful decor that creates a pleasant atmosphere. A big plus is the quick order fulfillment and really solid portions. Definitely worth a visit!

The food is always absolutely delicious. No matter what you order, it's always perfect. That's why I think it's such a shame that the service is so bad. The phone is hung up without saying goodbye. No one ever comes to ask if you need anything else. And when we got the wrong food even though we had ordered correctly, we were really annoyed. The food was for my son and then the plate was slammed down on him with absolutely no respect without a word. Our glasses were empty the whole time but no one came to ask if we wanted anything else. At 9:30 p.m. the music is simply turned off and you are indirectly asked to leave. Unfortunately not the first time, we won't be going again even though I really like the food. A real shame.

We ordered food for our family today and experienced a truly unprecedented annoyance when picking it up. We wanted to redeem an €80 voucher that was given to us for our birthday a year ago. It turned out that it had expired six days ago. We were vehemently and unfriendly about the voucher. After much pleading for leniency, we were able to pay the bill of approximately €60 with it, and the remainder was retained. We've redeemed restaurant vouchers at other locations in the past, and we've never been refused payment, even when the redemption period had passed considerably longer. The food was okay, but unfortunately, the whole family lost their appetite after this incident. We therefore do not recommend this restaurant, nor will we ever visit it again.

Unfortunately, I don't recommend it. Poor service and incredibly long wait times. Drinks, if they arrive at all, arrive after the meal, which takes over an hour to get served, even when the restaurant is at 50% capacity. Not worth a visit.

The food was very good. The service was poorly organized. Long wait times, some of the food was wrong, and the wait for drinks was also too long. The service needs a lot of improvement. As for the food itself, I'd go back anytime.

Unfortunately, we were annoyed at dinner by the manager's son. He threw scraps at us and set up his Lego the whole time. He was sick and coughed on us all the time and touched our cutlery. Nobody said anything, even when we said something nothing happened. Food was also brought incorrectly and we had to wait forever and the second round of drinks never arrived. but then it was added to the bill. Unfortunately, really bad service all around and absolutely not worth a visit.

Simply awful!!! Service was terrible!!! Cocktails were unavailable, and homemade lemonade was unavailable either. We only got part of the appetizer for three (incomplete), we passed the sushi plate for three, but waited for 1.5 and didn't get it. We got up and left!!! Never again!!!

UPDATE, after my last review was 5 stars after several visits: It should be a nice evening again... we've been here many times. Today is the last time for now! Very unfortunate! This is not how you treat well-paying guests! Unfortunately, a complaint ended in a discussion with the boss after I complained that one of the starters (combination with grilled scallops, etc.) only had a single scallop on it. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only thing (we haven't mentioned anything else here, once was enough): the calamari we ordered had been in the deep fryer for far too long, rock hard and dry, barely edible, something like that shouldn't leave the kitchen! There was far too much sauce on the tempura roll and also on the specials - the actually special taste, especially of the flambéed tuna, was completely masked. A normal apology would have done it and at the end a liqueur or some fortune cookies (which are always available anyway) and everything would have been fine. If there are complaints, there will probably be no fortune cookies - as usual - and therefore no tipple, thank you! I am angry and disappointed with the way we were treated - I would have preferred to spend the 115€ for 3 people to go to a Greek restaurant and be greeted with more hospitality.

We went for sushi at Doman Restaurant on Christmas Day, and it was packed with diners. Naturally, we had to wait for our food, which didn’t bother me—it was completely understandable. The food at the restaurant was fresh and perfectly prepared. The waiters are attentive, diligent, and courteous to the customers.

The store is clean, the food is delicious, the customer service is good, and the atmosphere is great. I will go out to eat with my friends again.

We traveled to this small village and came across an excellent sushi restaurant. Even though it was a busy holiday, we waited patiently and politely for our food. The sushi was incredibly delicious, and the owner was exceptionally friendly!

During our Christmas holiday in Germany, we discovered a hidden gem, Doman Sushi, in a quaint village. Despite the holiday rush and a fully booked restaurant, we didn’t mind waiting for our dishes and drinks. The staff, mostly of Asian descent, might not have been fluent in German, but their warm smiles and dedication to serving every guest stood out. They remained friendly and enthusiastic, even when treated unfairly by some patrons. When our food arrived, it surpassed all expectations—the flavors were incredible, and the drinks unique. The wait was not only bearable but worthwhile, even compared to other German restaurants. We highly recommend Doman Sushi for a fantastic dining experience.

First of all: The food here is really delicious. Both the starters, the sushi and the curries are highly recommended. We have eaten there several times since the restaurant opened and unfortunately the service is really not good. Drinks arrive very late, no cutlery at the table when the food arrives and great difficulty redeeming vouchers and paying with separate bills are just a few of the many shortcomings. I can recommend picking up food more, but it was the last time here for us. Cold and hot dishes are packed together in one bag. This means summer rolls and sushi are already warm before you leave the store. If you have problems with the EC device, your questions will not be addressed. You are not treated properly either as a guest on site or as someone picking you up, so unfortunately, despite the great food, this is the last time for us after many attempts.

So I don't come here anymore. Everything takes forever. We waited half an hour for drinks and 1.5 hours for food.

We have eaten here several times and are always thrilled with the food! However, there is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to service. Drinks come to the table very late despite being ordered early, so if you have a request it is difficult to get attention. But the food is always great!

I can only agree with the other top reviews. The food was very tasty and high quality. The prices are fair, the rooms are very inviting. The service was very friendly and accommodating, all in all a great restaurant. We would love to come back, wish you all the best in Kibo for the future and would like to maintain the friendliness and quality of the food!

I ended up at the Asian restaurant by chance. Very tasty food, I wish there was something like that near me.

We ordered pickup from Doman. Despite the empty restaurant and the very early online order, the food was delayed by 30 minutes. When we finally had our food, we discovered that one dish had been forgotten. So we had to wait another 10 minutes and our lunch break was almost over. The service is also very difficult and communication is not easy. We also had to witness something very unsavory... the older lady who serves there every now and then took off her sock at one of the dining tables and scratched her foot... Shortly afterwards, guests came into the restaurant and she served them without washing her hands beforehand. The lady also had problems using the cash register, so an employee from the kitchen (perhaps the boss) came out and touched the cash register with the gloves he was wearing to cook. So the gloves become less important... After such a long wait for food, we were hardly hungry anyway, but this really spoiled our appetite.

Craziness! Simply delicious sushi at a fair price. Even people who are not familiar with sushi will receive excellent advice. The waiters make every effort to explain the dishes to you, both from a technical and a taste perspective. And to the Palatinate stinginess and village mentality: yes, it takes a while, but that's to be expected with excellent food!

My family visited this restaurant over the weekend. It was quite busy, but the service remained attentive. The owners personally greeted us, which added a nice touch. The food was delicious, and my daughter especially loved the drinks. Overall, it was a great experience for a weekend outing.

The food is really tasty, prices are okay too. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired... Starter came at the same time as my friend's main course, half an hour later my main course? The service staff doesn't pay any attention to you at all and is sometimes a bit slow to understand. Generally you have to wait a long time to be served. In between, you don't ask if everything is okay or if you want to drink/eat something else. Happy to pick it up again, otherwise unfortunately not recommended.

We were very enthusiastic about the Doman Restaurant, the food tasted fantastic and was really lovingly prepared and of high quality. We had the feeling that our stay in the restaurant was truly presented as an experience. We will definitely come back and look forward to our next visit.

We visited the sushi restaurant Doman for the first time last Saturday with our boys and their partners. Everyone was thrilled! The welcome and the short conversation with the owner were very warm and funny. The service team is extremely friendly. The dishes were excellent and everything was beautifully prepared and presented. These were real “feats of art” on the plates/platters or bowls. We are already looking forward to our next stop there.......

Delicious food, unfortunately drinks are always not possible, this was explained due to a lack of staff or that the ingredients were empty. That's too bad. (in the photo the drink was finally possible and the only time so far)

Quite perfect Asian restaurant!!!

We often eat at this restaurant. The food is good and tastes good, but there are a few criticisms about the service, among other things. Unfortunately, it has often happened that a dish is completely missing, you wait too long to be served, something comes wrong and the service staff is really very unsympathetic and also rude. If you ask him something, he either doesn't answer or acts as if he didn't hear it. I would like to report on two situations. We were there once, sat down outside, it started to rain, went in and wanted to open the window because it was really warm and stuffy, then the service person came and closed it again. We asked if he could please leave it open and he said no without giving any reasons. We then politely asked why not and said that we were very warm inside, then he simply stopped answering and just stared at us. This didn't change when we asked again. For us it was really a very strange and uncomfortable situation, just not getting an answer and being stared at. Another time we ordered something over the phone, I wanted the tuna to be left out of the sushi, then they said the sushi would be too small, then I said if they would just make more of the vegetables, then he did told me that he would then charge €1.50 extra. I really found that a bit strange, you could have left the church in the village, after all I decided not to eat the expensive fish. Of course I pay the same price, but an extra charge for a few more vegetables?! This rule probably only applies to customers, because the window was open at the table in front of the counter, where the employees/owners themselves sit. It's nice that customers are supposed to sweat and can hardly enjoy the food! Rules should have meaning!

The food was great, the staff was very nice and a very nice atmosphere. Deserved 5 stars, I can only recommend it. We even got dry ice as a surprise, which made it look even nicer.

Rudeness at the highest level - a disappointing visit to Doman restaurant I visited the Doman restaurant in Kirchheimbolanden today and unfortunately have to say that, despite the good food, the evening was an extremely unpleasant experience. While the cuisine was definitely convincing, the evening was completely ruined by the behavior of the waitress. After my additional drink didn't arrive after 15 minutes, I first wanted to politely ask another waitress where it was. But to my surprise, I was deliberately ignored - she simply walked past me without even looking at me. When I finally asked another waitress, I was reprimanded loudly and completely inappropriately in front of the other guests. The waitress rudely explained that there was too much to do and that other guests hadn't received anything yet - that's definitely not my responsibility! This behavior was not only embarrassing, but also completely unprofessional. Other guests, who also had to wait far too long, finally left the restaurant - apparently frustrated. The reaction of the waitress? A casual wave, as if she didn't care in the slightest. Conclusion: If you appreciate good food, but also value respectful and polite service, I think you should avoid Domo. It's a shame about the kitchen - but with such service, frustration is inevitable.

Nice little restaurant with a great ambience and super friendly and courteous staff. We felt very comfortable and would like to come back. Price-performance is great! Keep it up!
