Very good cuisine with very attentive service. The ambience corresponds to the name. We had a very good meal even well after 2 p.m. The food came very quickly and was delicious. Prices are okay and card payment is possible. Gladly again!

We ate in the Resturante Jägerstuben three times during our short vacation. The food was excellent every time. We would also like to thank the nice, young man (waiter) who served us. You can tell that he enjoys his job. And he also responded to our request to get a place by the fireplace. THAT WAS A SPECIAL EXPERIENCE.

The food was very good. I had the wild boar roast and my wife had the Viennese style schnitzel.

Such a cozy place. Always good and friendly service. We come to bad lauterberg a few times a year and the holiday always starts with a visit to the hunters club. Their wild boar ragout is absolutely fantastic.

Unfortunately, the game ragout was too hard, the red cabbage was hardly seasoned, the dumplings were warmed up and there was a lot of room for improvement

Food was delivered to the wrong table and then brought back. Food tasted very bland and you had to wait forever to pay.

It's been a long time since I've had a meal returned completely, deer with dumplings and chanterelle cream, underground for the money 💰, dumplings microwaved, meat absolutely tough, sauce shitty, can't be sent, sorry

The food didn't taste like anything. Everything tasted the same with the mixed salad. It took quite a long time for someone to cash in.

A great, rustic restaurant with a very friendly boss and staff. Also a great winter garden. We hope that this restaurant will be around for a long time, unfortunately this is becoming increasingly rare. We'd love to come back.

The food was very tasty and the service was nice

Atmosphere: sleepy, hardly any guests. Food: Salmon underground, gypsy schnitzel drowning in indefinable, thick, tasteless sauce. Side salad comes within 1 minute, the main courses (18€ each!) within 5 minutes, so definitely not freshly made. Outside seating: chair full of crumbs. All very unsavory. Actually 0 stars, but the fries were okay. Never again!

Good selection of hearty dishes.

We come here regularly. The rump steak and roast beef dishes are always excellently prepared. We can recommend it to everyone!

The food was like prison food, the schnitzel was extremely dry and the potatoes were mush NOT RECOMMENDED SO DISGUSTING!!!!

My husband loves game meat and chanterelles, that's why we came to this restaurant. The atmosphere is simple, the service is quick and attentive. The food is still heavy on our stomachs. My husband got the wrong food, the chanterelles were drowned in sauce, the meat was dry. My beef liver was fried to death, was also swimming in far too much sauce and I still didn't understand what a piece of watermelon was doing on the plate, both on the side salad and on the plate with the liver. The operator offered to show us another piece of meat, but by then we had already lost our appetite. A dish was taken off the bill as compensation. I found that positive. My conclusion: Sometimes less (sauces and “decorations”) is simply more.

Very tasty food, vegetarian alternatives such as vegetable schnitzel are also highly recommended :) Restaurant very dated in design but still cozy. Very nice service :)

Nice restaurant especially for lovers of game meat and chanterelles. Food was good and service too. Was traveling in a wheelchair with a friend. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not accessible for wheelchair users from the main street (5 extremely "high" steps)! Ate in the outdoor area, which can be reached via a driveway. Lt. According to the staff, the restaurant can be reached via the side entrance with fewer steps!?

Unfortunately, our visit to the Jägerstuben restaurant was very disappointing. - **Furnishings**: The furnishings are very outdated and desperately need a refresh. - **Service**: The service was unfriendly and arrogant, which made the stay very unpleasant. - **Menu**: There was no real menu and no drinks menu at all. - **Food**: The food was tasteless and was in no way convincing. We definitely won't be coming back and unfortunately we can't recommend the Jägerstuben restaurant.

Beautiful terrace winter garden, service on Sunday very busy but attentive and friendly. Food was good but poorly seasoned, unfortunately it took over an hour but it was bearable on the terrace. Good, large selection of dishes.

We were in this "restaurant" with six people in the evening. According to the menu, there is good German cuisine, but the reality is unfortunately different. I had a schnitzel that was about 1.5 cm thick and it died several times in the pan 1 kg of Sahara sand probably contains more moisture. The fried egg was in the pan for too long and the egg white was partly still glassy. My two children had asparagus with schnitzel and here too it was important that both schnitzels were absolutely The asparagus was more than al dente and could definitely have been fried longer. Unfortunately, the hollandaise sauce was the cheapest ready-made sauce that you can buy in the wholesale market. It was successful, unfortunately the cutlery was bad very blunt, making it difficult to cut the ham. Overall, no recommendation due to the poor performance of the kitchen.

Great food, reasonable portions, very nice service. One point is deducted because there was no possibility of providing a receipt for hospitality and the ambience is very quaint and rustic, but is almost in need of renovation.

I can't write a big review here. We just took a short break and had something to drink in the heated winter garden, where you can also smoke. The restaurant is cozy and rustically furnished, just as you would imagine a hunter's room to be. Interesting menu, something for every taste at local prices. Nice personel.

Sehr saubere Wirtschaft , nettes Personal. Aber ich bin der Meinung das das bestellte Essen sehr bescheiden von der Menge war. Auch hatte man das Gefühl das das Gericht vorher eingefroren war, Das Fleisch war außen heiß und im Inneren lauwarm. Für den Preis hätte ich mehr erwartet. Auf einen weiteren Besuch in diesem Hause verzichten wir.

Rouladen hätte noch eine halbe Stunde gebraucht, etwas zäh. Inventar etwas altbacken.

Essen sehr gut und die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Wir kommen hier seit Jahren her und werden es wieder tun.

Wir waren im Urlaub mit 3 Kindern hier. Eines der Kinder hat eine schwere stoffwechselstörung. Die Bedienung hat uns jede Zutat genannt und auch mit der Küche Rücksprache gehalten. Besser hätte der Service nicht sein können. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden und gut gefüllt.

Die Bedienung war nett, aber sehr gestresst, obwohl es nicht voll war. Die Speisekarte besteht nur aus einzelnen Zetteln, eine Getränkekarte gibt es gar nicht und die Eiskarte ist auch wieder einzeln. Das Essen wurde in Etappen geliefert. Bei nur vier einfachen Essen, sollte es möglich sein, dass alle zusammen essen. Die Portionen waren für diese Preisklasse sehr klein gehalten. Die Pommes zu den Schnitzeln wurden zusammen in einer extra Schale geliefert, das Schnitzel selber wurde auf einem Teller ohne Soße und nur mit Zitrone serviert. Auch das Wildgericht ist nicht dazu gedacht, dass ein normaler Erwachsener satt wird. Alles in allem haben wir über 100 EUR für vier Personen bezahlt. Da haben wir für viel weniger sehr viel besser in Bad Lauterberg gegessen.

Essen war reichlich und Preis/Leistung in Ordnung, die Bedienung war flott und auch die Essen wurden zügig gebracht, es hat uns allen geschmeckt, Punktabzug gibt es für das in die Jahre gekommene Gasthaus - erinnert mehr an eine Kneipe, es gibt keine Getränkekarte u. die Speisekarte besteht aus losen Zetteln

Altes Restaurant, Essen schmeckte nur leider ist das Inventar sehr alt und einiges Bedarf mal einer gründlichen Reinigung....

Sehr kinder- und gastfreundlich. Essen war auch super lecker und in großen Portionen. Die Preise sind auch fair. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in Bad Lauterberg sind.

Einfache Hausmannskost, die sehr lecker war! Selbstgemachter Beilagensalat hat man kaum noch irgendwo. Netter, aber dezenter Service. Wir waren zufrieden! Preis-Leistung zur heutigen Zeit völlig in Ordnung

Wunderbar uriges Ambiente und trotz voller Hütte leckere Speisen sowie Getränke binnen weniger Minuten erhalten. Besonders die Bratkartoffeln waren ausgezeichnet. Preise gehen voll in Ordnung. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Weder vom Ambiente, noch vom Essen her hat es uns zugesagt. Aber über Geschmack kann man sich bekanntlich streiten.

Wir sind begeistert und werden auf jeden Fall hier wieder einkehren. Das Ambiente entspricht dem Namen Jägerstuben zu 100%. Rustikal mit Geweihen, Holzvertäfelung und passender Deko. Der Service war super, sehr freundlich, angemessene Zeit. Kommen wir zu dem Besten, dem Essen: Wir hatten den Wildspieß und es war das beste Wild, dass wir seit langem gegessen haben. Innen rose, saftig lecker und eine ganz tolle Waldpilzsoße dazu. Alles herrlich abgestimmt. Auf der Karte mit Kroketten, aber ein Tausch war kein Problem und ohne zusätzliche Kosten. Und vorweg gab es noch einen leckeren gemischten Salat. Dazu ein leckeres Landbier. Was will man mehr. Wir sind happy und können das Restaurant weiterempfehlen.
