Jägerstuben in Bad Lauterberg im Harz

Ich hatte ein köstliches Abendessen. Schon das zweite Mal diese Woche.

Ich kann die ganzen negativen Bewertungen hier überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen... Sind die Menschen echt dermaßen pingelig?!? Ich hatte die Schlemmerpfanne, mit perfektem Fleisch, tolle Pommes und einen sehr leckeren gemischtem Salat. Dazu ne Pepsi und zack wunschlos glücklich. Die Preise sind auch normal.

Tolle Gaststätte. Prima deutsches Essen. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

War hier mit meiner Tante Der Toast war sehr lecker..... dazu einen "Aperol" LG Ina

Hier kann man sehr gut deutsche Küche genießen. Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal.

Ein schönes Lokal mit viel Gemütlichkeit. Es sieht sehr einladend aus und der Service ist super freundlich. Vom Essen waren wir leider etwas enttäuscht.

Bedienung sehr freundlich und witzig. Essen war gut, Portion ausreichend. Selbst mein Sohn (11) mochte die Pilze und das soll was heißen. In großen und ganzen war alles suppi. Mein Sohn bekam dann sogar noch ein Eis😅

Wir kommen nun seit mehreren Jahren nach Bad Lauterberg. Ich kann inzwischen gar nicht mehr sagen, ob es die Stadt ist oder die Jägerstuben, die uns immer wieder in den Harz verschlagen. Mein Mann und ich haben uns selten in einem Restaurant so wohl gefühlt wie dort. Das Essen ist wirklich Top und das Personal super nett. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich. Für uns gibt es kein besseres Restaurant. Das frisch gezapfte Landbier ist auch nicht zu verachten 😉

Wir waren heute zum 1. Mal in der Jägerstube und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Einrichtung eher rustikal aber passend. Das Essen und der Service waren sehr gut.hat uns gut gefallen

Wir waren am 18.01.26 in der Jägerstube. Das Lokal war zwar wenig besucht, aber typisch für einen Sonntag. Wir hatten Hirschmedallions und den Wildspieß und es war traumhaft lecker. Das Lokal ist absolut Oldshool eingerichtet, aber passend zur Karte. Alles in allem: Absolut Rund! Volle 5 Sterne!! Beim nächsten Besuch im Bad Lauterberg unser Pflichttermin!

Freundlicher Servive und das Essen, Reh , war sehr lecker. Die Atmosphäre ist einzigartig , passend zu einer Jägerstube. Wir fanden es gut dort.

Essen konnte nicht bewertet werden. Wir wollten um 20Uhr was essen, da wurde uns nach einiger Wartezeit in Angesicht, dann doch endlich mal mitgeteilt das die Küche wohl schon sauber sei und man uns jetzt nichts mehr anbieten kann. An einem anderen Tisch wären Leute jedoch am Essen. Und das ohne dass irgendwo steht Küche nur bis 20 Uhr oder ähnliches. Also dort wollte man uns nicht bedienen. Dann haben wir kurzer Hand unser Geld zur Konkurrenz gebracht. So einfach geht das. Einen zweiten Versuch wird es sicher nicht geben. Von daher die überschaubare Bewertung. Das Lokal Feuer und Flamme, wo wir dann gegessen haben, das ist sehr zu empfehlen. 5min. Fußläufig weiter die Fußgängerzone runter.

Die Einrichtung passt perfekt zum Namen. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen – das Essen war wirklich lecker, und die Bedienung war freundlich und mit viel Humor.

Zuerst wurden wir sehr seltsam empfangen und standen erstmal nur da und mussten ziemlich lange auf unser Überteuertes Essen warten, was im Endeffekt nach garnichts geschmeckt hat. Die Currywurst war lasch, der Salat sah unappetitlich aus und das Jägerschnitzel mit Pilzsoße war gummiartig und die Pilzsoße war kaum vorhanden, hat dementsprechend schlecht und nach nichts geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war sehr tollpatschig und nicht sonderlich zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente war sehr überwältigend, viel zu viel auf einmal und unbequeme Sitzplätze. Nie wieder, ausser vielleicht zum Rauchen im Wintergarten, wenn‘s draußen zu kalt ist…

Eine gemütliche Gaststätte, auch für Raucher gibt es einen Wintergarten, die extra bequem sitzen und genießen können. Ein Ofen, der für gemütliche Wärme sorgt nur leider nicht auf den Toiletten und diese leider auch sehr alt. Als Vorspeise hatten wir einen gebackenen Schafskäse für 13€. Wirklich sehr lecker😋, sehr zu empfehlen, aber 13 € auch nicht wenig. Hauptspeise war Woldragout mit Pilzen, Klößen und Rotkohl für 19€. Das war allerdings nicht ganz so schmackhaft. Die Klöße sehr klein und es fehlte defenitiv Salz. Das Wild hätte etwas zarter sein können. Die Soße war allerdings sehr lecker und genau richtig. Und die Teller haben unser Auge leider nicht mit essen lassen. Wir finden, diese könnten gegen einen neueren ansprechenderen Stil ausgetauscht werden. Das i-Tüpfelchen für uns war das hausgemachte Eis Dessert, für 4€. Bratapfeleis mit Schokosoße, sehr köstlich und preislich absolut angemessen. Wir haben satt, gut gelaunt und aufgewärmt die Jägerstube verlassen. Happy new Year for everybody!!!

Wir sind mehr oder weniger zufällig in die Jägerstube gestolpert und haben uns nach unserem Besuch über die relativ verhaltenen Bewertungen gewundert… Die Speisekarte liest sich wie ein Ausflug in die 80er Jahre: Toast Hawaii, Pute mit Currysauce und Früchten, ansonsten viel Wild, Fisch und andere Toastarten :-) Die Preise sind ebenso wie ein Ausflug in die 80er, wirklich erschwinglich. Dem Essgenuss hat das keinen Abbruch getan. Ehrlich gesagt hat mich mein Gericht (Wildragout mit Apfelrotkohl und Klößen) an meine Oma erinnert. Und so hat es auch geschmeckt: Deftige Soße, sauber geschmortes Wildfleisch, sehr leckeres Rotkohl und natürlich schön Butter und Semmelbrösel auf den Klößen. Der Service war auch flott und absolut flexibel. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, wahrscheinlich schon morgen!

We were a group of six at this restaurant on Boxing Day. When we arrived, with our dog, who was very excited, the first thing we did was lecture us about dog training, which I found very inappropriate. The dog then lay under the table the whole time and behaved well. We ordered our food from the Christmas menu. My son didn't find anything he liked and asked if he could have fries. The server replied in a rather harsh tone that they weren't available today. The food was okay, although the price-performance ratio wasn't right. We then noticed that another table was being served fries. I wonder what the difference was between them and us. Overall, I didn't find the service very coherent; the server seemed very annoyed and unprofessional. The ambiance was alright, although I thought the dining room was very crowded. I certainly won't be going there again.

The atmosphere here is very rustic. Everything is geared towards hunting. I ordered beef liver, as I hadn't had liver in a long time. It was very tender. There's a lot that can go wrong here. Before that, I had a salad bowl, which was also very tasty. Unfortunately, there were hardly any other guests. They had probably opted for mulled wine in the old town. I think the price-performance ratio is okay.

When you look forward to going out to eat because of today's prices, but end up going home sad!

Designed to resemble a hunter's parlor, the food was very bland and took over an hour to arrive, while other guests received their food earlier.

Ordered 3 meals. 1 of them was okay. There was hunter's sauce on a dish that wasn't ordered. Mushroom allergy. They should be more careful about what they order. After all, they're paying for it. The medallions were cooked twice and unfortunately quite inedible. The salad was fresh. Unfortunately, they ordered takeaway, otherwise everything would have been returned immediately. Service was good!

My husband had the gypsy schnitzel, with an indefinable, gray sauce that tasted of nothing. I had the "homemade" venison aspic. I seriously doubt it was truly homemade. I don't mind parsley as a garnish, but there was so much parsley on my plate that my entire meal tasted of it. We started with tomato soup, which was okay, but tasted like canned soup. Since I didn't eat half of my meal because I simply didn't like it, I wanted to eat my husband's salad. I found a hair in it, and then I completely forgot about the meal.

The ambiance is reminiscent of the 70s and 80s. But that's okay, I thought it was funny. The food was delicious. The service staff could have put in a bit more effort.

We had lunch at the Jägerstuben today and left satisfied. The food was good, and the service was fast and very friendly. 👍

We had a great time. My husband and I sat outside and ordered the Waldmann schnitzel, rump steak with onions, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Absolutely excellent. Very good service, superb results from the kitchen... and to finish, the quark strudel with vanilla ice cream... A dream... We'll be back...

We had venison, and it was delicious. Nothing special, but not bad and down-to-earth.

I have to say, the Jägerschnitzel was a complete tragedy. The sauce tasted of absolutely nothing, really… I'm not complaining on a high level, it had absolutely no flavor. On top of that, there were canned mushrooms that were like rubber in the mouth, and the schnitzel felt like a sponge being cut through. I'm sorry, but it really wasn't worth 21 euros.

The service was very friendly. The food was OK, hot but very lightly seasoned, thus rather bland. The salad was plain, with no dressing. The menu was very large, so it was obvious it wouldn't be high-quality. Salt and pepper were on the table. Unfortunately, the holes in the pepper shaker were clogged. We were full, but we'd rather go to a different restaurant next time.

Got a menu... after 20 minutes no one came to even get a drink... well then I just went somewhere else to eat.

Nice restaurant, friendly service. Drinks were okay, menu was okay. We ordered two dishes: one was schnitzel with chanterelle mushrooms and potatoes, and the other was roast wild boar with potatoes (with dumplings upon request) and red cabbage. The schnitzel was more boiled than fried. The breading was spongy. And all that for €28.80. The roast wild boar was very, very firm; it could easily have used another hour. Price: €27.50, generally low in salt.

We had lunch here, and I have to say, it was simply excellent. The service was very attentive and immediately helped my disabled mother. The portions are generous and the prices are hard to beat. What surprised me most was that we were offered gravy or an extra potato. I think that's exceptional service. I can recommend the Jägerstuben to everyone. Thanks to the team

This is a really nice pub (at the bar) and also a restaurant. I didn't eat here. But it wasn't because of the menu, but because I had already eaten. There's nothing fancy here, but there is a nice wood stove that burns in the evenings. I found it cozy and cool. The service was attentive and quick. That's how it has to be when you close so early 🥲 My conclusion: Go there! It may not be for everyone, but it's worth finding out for yourself 😁

Update 12/27/2024 We were there for Christmas dinner on the 1st holiday. We had a menu that day that included a game soup and a quark or cream dessert. You could choose the main course from the menu. We had the finest deer. Everything homemade look for the croquettes. Class .. Mega atmosphere for the holiday. Staff and boss are constantly trying hard and super friendly. The price 2 times menu 1 wine spritzer 1 water 2 large cokes 1 espresso Around €80.00 UNBEATABLE! Oh yes..The meal as a whole tasted delicious and the meat was buttery tender. Thanks Gerald -------- Food is great when the boss cooks himself. Personally, the atmosphere is too dark and old-fashioned for me. Friendly and clean. Prices are okay.

The restaurant's furnishings are a bit old. The price-performance ratio could also be improved a little. The plates were manageably full for the price. I wasn't full. The taste was acceptable. The vegetables, for example was frozen goods.

We ate in the Resturante Jägerstuben three times during our short vacation. The food was excellent every time. We would also like to thank the nice, young man (waiter) who served us. You can tell that he enjoys his job. And he also responded to our request to get a place by the fireplace. THAT WAS A SPECIAL EXPERIENCE.

The food was very good. I had the wild boar roast and my wife had the Viennese style schnitzel.

Such a cozy place. Always good and friendly service. We come to bad lauterberg a few times a year and the holiday always starts with a visit to the hunters club. Their wild boar ragout is absolutely fantastic.

Unfortunately, the game ragout was too hard, the red cabbage was hardly seasoned, the dumplings were warmed up and there was a lot of room for improvement

Food was delivered to the wrong table and then brought back. Food tasted very bland and you had to wait forever to pay.

Atmosphere: sleepy, hardly any guests. Food: Salmon underground, gypsy schnitzel drowning in indefinable, thick, tasteless sauce. Side salad comes within 1 minute, the main courses (18€ each!) within 5 minutes, so definitely not freshly made. Outside seating: chair full of crumbs. All very unsavory. Actually 0 stars, but the fries were okay. Never again!

We come here regularly. The rump steak and roast beef dishes are always excellently prepared. We can recommend it to everyone!

The food was like prison food, the schnitzel was extremely dry and the potatoes were mush NOT RECOMMENDED SO DISGUSTING!!!!

My husband loves game meat and chanterelles, that's why we came to this restaurant. The atmosphere is simple, the service is quick and attentive. The food is still heavy on our stomachs. My husband got the wrong food, the chanterelles were drowned in sauce, the meat was dry. My beef liver was fried to death, was also swimming in far too much sauce and I still didn't understand what a piece of watermelon was doing on the plate, both on the side salad and on the plate with the liver. The operator offered to show us another piece of meat, but by then we had already lost our appetite. A dish was taken off the bill as compensation. I found that positive. My conclusion: Sometimes less (sauces and “decorations”) is simply more.

Nice restaurant especially for lovers of game meat and chanterelles. Food was good and service too. Was traveling in a wheelchair with a friend. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not accessible for wheelchair users from the main street (5 extremely "high" steps)! Ate in the outdoor area, which can be reached via a driveway. Lt. According to the staff, the restaurant can be reached via the side entrance with fewer steps!?

Unfortunately, our visit to the Jägerstuben restaurant was very disappointing. - **Furnishings**: The furnishings are very outdated and desperately need a refresh. - **Service**: The service was unfriendly and arrogant, which made the stay very unpleasant. - **Menu**: There was no real menu and no drinks menu at all. - **Food**: The food was tasteless and was in no way convincing. We definitely won't be coming back and unfortunately we can't recommend the Jägerstuben restaurant.

Beautiful terrace winter garden, service on Sunday very busy but attentive and friendly. Food was good but poorly seasoned, unfortunately it took over an hour but it was bearable on the terrace. Good, large selection of dishes.

We were in this "restaurant" with six people in the evening. According to the menu, there is good German cuisine, but the reality is unfortunately different. I had a schnitzel that was about 1.5 cm thick and it died several times in the pan 1 kg of Sahara sand probably contains more moisture. The fried egg was in the pan for too long and the egg white was partly still glassy. My two children had asparagus with schnitzel and here too it was important that both schnitzels were absolutely The asparagus was more than al dente and could definitely have been fried longer. Unfortunately, the hollandaise sauce was the cheapest ready-made sauce that you can buy in the wholesale market. It was successful, unfortunately the cutlery was bad very blunt, making it difficult to cut the ham. Overall, no recommendation due to the poor performance of the kitchen.

I can't write a big review here. We just took a short break and had something to drink in the heated winter garden, where you can also smoke. The restaurant is cozy and rustically furnished, just as you would imagine a hunter's room to be. Interesting menu, something for every taste at local prices. Nice personel.

Great food, reasonable portions, very nice service. One point is deducted because there was no possibility of providing a receipt for hospitality and the ambience is very quaint and rustic, but is almost in need of renovation.

Sehr saubere Wirtschaft , nettes Personal. Aber ich bin der Meinung das das bestellte Essen sehr bescheiden von der Menge war. Auch hatte man das Gefühl das das Gericht vorher eingefroren war, Das Fleisch war außen heiß und im Inneren lauwarm. Für den Preis hätte ich mehr erwartet. Auf einen weiteren Besuch in diesem Hause verzichten wir.
