From the call to ask if we could join spontaneously to paying the bill, it was a successful evening. A very friendly team, exceptionally delicious food. The waiter, with his smile, wit, and charm, which was noticeable despite wearing a mask, rounded off the whole experience. I think it's great when you can see a smile on your face even with a mask on. Then at least it's genuine. We'll be back. And we came back. And we weren't disappointed on our second visit. Such warm service, I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Even with a 15% tip, you feel like it's too little to express your satisfaction. Mamma Mia is definitely on the agenda for our next visit to the Harz Mountains. 3rd visit in 2025 - and another great evening with delicious food and friendly service. Everything freshly prepared. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't like too much cheese, so to speak, with less cheese! The price is totally reasonable. I would go again 👌

The food was good, but unfortunately lacking in flavor. We're used to more flavor and fresh herbs from Mediterranean cuisine.

We ordered a pizza and a lasagna – both were decent, although the lasagna looked a bit plain. Unfortunately, the drinks didn't arrive until after the meal, which was a shame. The service seemed a bit distant that evening, making us feel a bit unwelcome – perhaps it was simply due to the mood of the day. The cozy ambiance, especially the outdoor area where we sat, deserves special mention. Overall, a solid visit.

We've been at the Muehl Vital Resort in Bad Lauterberg for May 18th and have now familiarized ourselves with almost all of the restaurants. Great food, good wines, and excellent value for money. Very friendly staff and fast service. The chef is everything you'd expect: friendly, attentive, and very professional. We'd be happy to return anytime. Thank you! We were on vacation in Bad Lauterberg and ate here twice this week. Everything was fine, both in terms of taste and presentation, and everything was prepared and served quickly. The second time, my son had a rather small portion of tomato soup for €7.50, and we thought it was missing a piece of bread. We asked the waitress there for another piece of bread, which she did. Everything was fine, both in terms of taste and presentation, and my son enjoyed his soup very much. When the bill came, we could hardly believe it; of course, we checked the bill first. After we had already paid by card, there was a €3 charge for bread on the bill. For this, we're only deducting four stars, because we've never experienced anything like it. A piece of bread comes with soup. The management should rethink this concept. We found it quite cheeky, as the price of the soup was already relatively high, and then another three euros added on top. So all in all, apart from this minor detail, which really annoyed us, it was a lovely evening with good food and a good conversation with the family. We ordered here today by phone and had it delivered to our hotel. A little over 20 minutes for three pizzas on a Sunday evening is great. The delivery person was super friendly, the delivery person super friendly, and the food was super delicious. My 2-year-old son "swooned" the Magherita, he loved it so much!

We were on a short trip to Bad Lauterberg and ate at Mammamia both evenings. The food was simply delicious and the service was excellent. We'd happily go back.

A cozy-looking restaurant, where we were served a delicious pizza and a salad with a friendly "to-go" order. Unfortunately, it had a lot of underutilized potential due to the seemingly careless and barely/overly cut ingredients. Overall, the salad lacked a bit of value for money. The pizza left us wanting more.

The location itself is good, but unfortunately the outdoor area is directly adjacent to a parking lot (good for driving up, but can be a bit noisy for sitting down). Definitely recommended!

Delicious Italian cuisine, the interior ambiance is traditional and neatly decorated. The menu is extensive, and the wait time is short (or at peak times, still reasonable). Reasonably priced, it's always a pleasant experience.

The food is really good. Tasty salad and a delicious pizza. However, the coffee is really bad. We didn't even drink it. A watery cup of coffee just doesn't go down. Too bad. That's why three stars.

The food quality was good, and the prices were reasonable. The service was not satisfactory, especially from the person in charge of our table. This wasn't about being unfriendly, but rather about a rather cold demeanor and the implications this has for the guest.

We finally landed by chance and intensive searching. Mama Mia, the Italian we trust. FOOD, SERVICE, AMBIENCE, everything TOP. We are thrilled and after many tests we have finally found our START ITALIAN. buongiorno!!!

The service was very courteous, the dishes were at the table quickly and there is an extensive menu. However, the dishes are only lower midfield in terms of style and taste. The pizzas are lavishly topped with cheese and ALL pasta dishes are dressed with cream. A lot helps a lot ;)

There were six of us there and we all ordered different dishes. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere, the service was friendly and attentive, so we felt comfortable. However, the food didn't convince us. It was rather simple and consisted mostly of ready-made products. For an authentic Italian, we would have liked more freshness and homemade food. Canned peas, ham and canned ravioli seemed carelessly put together. Overall, the food was more of a bistro level than an Italian restaurant. Despite the friendly staff, we wouldn't recommend it based on the food.

We ate at Mamma Mia with 10 people and it was really beautiful. The food tastes very good and the restaurant is very nice. There is even a gift of schnapps or liqueur as a farewell gift. This used to be standard for Italians but is rare these days. If I lived there I would be there at least once a week. There is still quality here and the price was also great. For me personally the best Italian in the Harz! A special mention should be made of the pizza bread, which is world class!

Due to a celebration, I ordered pizza trays and at quite short notice. Still wasn't a problem at all. The food arrived on time and everyone enjoyed it very much! Definitely one of my better ideas.

The food is tasty, I had a pizza with seafood and I have to say it had plenty of toppings. Now to the service... if you could give negative points then the service would have gotten some. From unfriendly answers to questions to "you should have said that you wanted the starter before the main course." I soon fell out of my chair... Drinks were forgotten, the food took over an hour to arrive from the time it was ordered, even though the shop was only occupied by three tables. Ambiance was nice. There were pictures from Bad Lauterberg's past times and it was otherwise well maintained. Conclusion: Just train the staff on how to deal with guests and the place would be full...

Went to this restaurant for the first time last week with eight people. We had reserved the table some time in advance. The atmosphere was very inviting. Welcome was also friendly. Two people took the bruschetta first. They were quite good, but I will never understand this balsamic cream. For me this is simply a superfluous product. For the main course I had a pizza. I think it was the 70th. With spicy salami, sheep's cheese and rocket. The waiting time was relatively long. Pizza was to my liking only in the middle the base wasn't fully baked. Nevertheless, I was satisfied. Dessert was cassata. A delicious ice cream. Service and ambience was very good. The food was good. In school grades you would probably give a B. Small drawbacks.

Meine Familie und ich waren wandern und hatten unglaublich Hunger (stellt euch einen 2-Jährigen und eine 6-Jährige mit Hunger vor). Leider kamen wir genau zur Mittagspause und die Mitarbeiter wollten gerade schließen,sahen aber unsere "Not" und meinten zunächst sie machen uns Pizzen zum Mitnehmen. Schlussendlich waren sie aber alle sooo nett, dass wir noch dort essen durften und freundlich und nett bedient wurden. Die Pizzen waren mega lecker. Insgesamt definitiv empfehlenswert.

The first impression when entering the restaurant is simply impressive. The stylish but cozy interior exudes an ambience that is perfect for a relaxed dinner. The staff greets you with warm hospitality that immediately makes you feel welcome. The menu offers a fine and large selection of Italian classics, prepared with a lot of love and dedication. Even if you don't feel like pizza, pasta, etc., but still want to visit the cozy restaurant, there is also a large selection of meat and fish dishes on offer. The service is also remarkable, as the staff is always friendly, attentive and reacts very flexibly when it comes to special requests or adjustments to the dishes. The restaurant is a great place for a dinner for two, a meeting with friends or a family celebration. I can only warmly recommend the restaurant.

Without a reservation, you can get a place outside with your dog. The “terrace” is located directly on or next to a parking lot. That's a bit uncomfortable. The service was friendly and quick. The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long. The price-performance ratio was okay for the food. However, we resisted a wine (Lambrusco or Chadonnay) 0.25L for €9.50.

There are currently 10 people waiting for food for 1.5 hours. Pretty grubby sweaty employee came out of the kitchen. 😝 After another 10 minutes the delicious food arrived. So wait 100 minutes. The excuse was that it was the first day after vacation and supposedly the only restaurant open. Lt. Google didn't agree! There were at least 6 other restaurants open. The pizza knives cut poorly on the plates. The standard knife worked significantly better.

Das Mamma Mia liegt an einer der Hauptstraßen in Bad Lauterberg. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, sollte in einer der Stichstraßen vor oder nach dem Lokal einbiegen - hier findet man mehrere Parkflächen. Wer den Weg bis zum hauseigenen Parkplatz hinter dem Gebäude finden will, braucht etwas Glück, hat dafür aber dann auch gleich den Biergarten gefunden :) In selbigem ließen wir uns an einem warmen Abend spontan nieder. Die Bedienung nahm zügig Kontakt auf, Speisekarten waren sofort zur Hand. Getränke und Essensbestellungen wurden dann zeitnah aufgenommen. Die Wartezeit für die Kinder wurde mit Malbuch und Stiften verkürzt - so macht das Spaß! Warten mussten wir aber tatsächlich nicht allzu lange. Die Pizzen sind naturgemäß ein Schwerpunkt dieses Lokals, das zeigt schon die große Auswahl - aber auch die Qualität ist gut, und reichlich ist es auch. Die Salate sind ebenfalls gut und reichlich; es gibt auch Pizzabrot dazu - warm wäre letzteres noch besser gewesen, aber immerhin. Auch das Pastagericht wusste zu gefallen. Insgesamt gut und lecker, solide, angenehm. Die Bedienung wurde an diesem Abend von mehreren jungen Frauen übernommen, die sich viel Mühe gaben, sympathisch und stets präsent waren. Alles in allem empfehlenswert. Nicht billig, aber seinen Preis wert.

We picked up some food. It was tasty and the portions were completely ok. There is a short waiting time, but that was bridged with an amaretto on the house. As I said, the food was delicious. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star because there was no more lasagna and that wasn't supposed to happen. Otherwise everyone really made an effort.

By far the worst pizza I've eaten in recent years. Instead of fresh peppers, pickled peppers, the cheese on top, instead of after the tomato sauce as is usual in Italy. Yoghurt dressing consisted of mayo and was just straight out of a bag. There are two Italian restaurants in town, the other one offers a typical Italian pizza. So much potential is wasted here with the pizzas. I've eaten ready-made pizzas and they were better.

Restaurant has been newly renovated. New furniture completes the whole thing. I like it very much! Portions decent, 😉, taste great as always. Keep it up....
