Das Holz verottet immer mehr Farbe würde helfen Öle taugen nix ,Lasuren mit wachs sehen am besten aus bieten für essen ferbe Hilfe an schade das mann teure holzmöbel so verboten lässt

Wir waren heute im Hausberg .Ich bin wiedermal positiv überrascht. Essen super. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Also nicht wie hin. Wir kommen wieder. VG aus dem Norden von Hamburg.

Ich bin gern und oft auf dem Hausberg. Lecker Kaffee, lecker selbstgemachter Kuchen, lecker Essen. Service einwandfrei 😀 Hunde sind herzlich willkommen 😄 Jetzt bin ich selber schuld, wenn ich beim nächsten Besuch keinen Platz bekomme 😁

Einfach wow! Wir haben unsere Hochzeit auf dem Hausberg gefeiert, und es war einfach wunderbar. Schöner hätte es nicht sein können, mit einer wirklichen kompetenten und liebevollen Art des gesamten Personals, einer gemütlichen Armosphäre und unfassbar gutem Essen. Absolut faire Preise und dann wird auch noch wirklich auf Wünsche eingegangen mit viel Flexibilität. Danke liebes Team! Die Aussicht ist dann natürlich noch das Sternchen auf der Torte. Also eine absolute Empfehlung von uns! Als Info, wer Lust bekommen hat: Die Gäste kommen mit der Seilbahn hoch, was auch ein schönes Highlight des Tages war.

Ob bequem mit der Seilbahn, oder sportlich zu Fuß. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Das Essen ist lecker und die Bedienung super nett und humorvoll. Die Aussicht ist unbezahlbar.

Was für ein toller Ausblick und was für ein nettes Personal

Wir hatten traumhaftes Wetter und saßen auf der Terrasse. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker 😋 und alles war sehr frisch ,selbst die Maultaschen waren selbst gemacht . Das Restaurant hat eine tolle Tellersprache das Auge isst eben mit . Die Bedienung war wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend hat immer gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist, ohne aufdringlich zu sein.

Sehr einladend vom Ambiente :) so herrlich gemütlich. Essen sehr lecker und frisch ! Kann man nur empfehlen. Lohnt sich. Besonders noch hervorzuheben ist das Servicepersonal! Super freundlich und sympathisch. Immer gerne wieder .

Der Ausblick ist wirklich eine schöne Belohnung für den Aufstieg. Empfehle links von der Seilbahn den Aufstieg durch den Wald zu machen und auf der anderen Seite, Richtung Bismarckturm abzusteigen

Ein tolles Erlebnis dort oben über den Wolken ! 👍 In einer etwa einstündigen Wanderung hatten wir die tolle Hütte 🛖 erreicht und waren von der Aussicht begeistert ! Dann erstmal einen frisch zubereiteten Glühwein getrunken! (30.12.25)

Meine Partnerin und ich haben kürzlich im Restaurant auf dem Hausberg in Bad Lauterberg gegessen und waren rundum begeistert. Wir haben uns für deftige Gerichte entschieden – Grünkohl mit Schmorwurst und Schwenkkartoffeln sowie Käsespätzle – und als Dessert einen Germknödel. Sämtliche Speisen waren hervorragend zubereitet und geschmacklich absolut überzeugend. Auch das Ambiente des Restaurants sowie die freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung haben unseren Besuch zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder einkehren und könnten uns sehr gut vorstellen, auch aufgrund der tollen Aussicht sogar Silvester dort zu verbringen. Eine klare Empfehlung!

We were there for the New Year's Eve party and experienced a buffet that was second to none. An enthusiastic team ensured we didn't go thirsty that evening. 😃 I also went there for lunch last summer and was very impressed then as well.

I was there on New Year's Eve. Taking the cable car up is definitely worth it. The staff is incredibly friendly. The view is fantastic, even in winter, and the terrace offers an unobstructed view of the town. It has a lovely atmosphere, reminiscent of an old ski lodge. I had Germknödel (yeast dumplings), which were absolutely delicious :) The price was also great. A nice little extra was the group of chimney sweeps who even climbed onto the roof so we could take a picture.

We had a wonderful lunch here on Christmas Day, buffet-style. Local dishes, honest, delicious flavors. Very pleasant staff. The price-quality ratio is excellent.

Great view; beautiful location; friendly service. We only had mulled wine, etc. Next time we'll try the food. The menu sounds promising. Update: In the summer of 2025, we went there for asparagus. The location is still great. The food was delicious. We plan to come back in December.

This restaurant offers a very cozy atmosphere and is easily accessible via a footpath or a small chairlift – a delightful experience! The staff are very friendly and attentive. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and highly recommended. A big plus: Our small dog (about the size of a well-fed cat) was allowed to lie on his own blanket in a corner on the bench. In short: A wonderful place for a relaxing meal with good food and excellent service.

A truly lovely stop with a beautiful view, both indoors and outdoors! The surroundings are stunning, and the Bismarck Tower is also nearby... the option to arrive by chairlift is unique and highly recommended. A real highlight. The climb is generally manageable on foot ;-) Special stamping point HWN.

From snacks to hearty meals, everything is available. Good quality and reasonable prices, with friendly and attentive service.

What a great place :-) Here, they really cook and cater to their guests. Despite the space constraints – the terrace was packed to the last seat – we were offered a lovely table by the window. We took advantage of it and enjoyed a fantastic lunch. Special requests, including vegan food, were no problem, albeit with a bit of a wait. This wait is definitely justified for such great value for money. The girls are in a great mood and really enjoy their work. Respect to the whole team. Keep up the good work; you deserve more than 5 stars.

A fantastic view! From the truly spacious terrace, you can enjoy a variety of views down to Bad Lauterberg, and the food is first-class.

The restaurant is truly worth a meal, with the cable car directly up there. Enjoy a fantastic view while eating. The food and service were top-notch, making yesterday's day the perfect end. We'd love to go back.

The location is really beautiful and the view is truly fantastic. But the umbrellas, some of which are too small, combined with the response "Maybe a cloud will come along sometime," are simply unfortunate. You have to sit in the blazing sun, depending on availability. The prices for drinks are still reasonable, but the prices for the hot food are definitely too expensive. Pork schnitzel with fries €24.50. Card payments are acceptable, but only for amounts over €15. Why do we always take everything in cash, even for small amounts? It's not cheaper to handle cash. Addition to the owner's response: The prices for food are simply justified by greed. Increased costs aren't a justification for why, for example, a currywurst with fries at the Bismarck Tower across the street costs only half as much. It's equally wrong that card payments are so expensive. Using cash isn't any cheaper when you factor in the additional costs.

Bad service. My father and I found the menu ourselves, but the waiter still didn't respond. After waiting for 5 minutes, we left. 🤦‍♂️😒

We went to the summer party on Saturday. A fantastic evening. Top-notch service from the entire team. A great atmosphere, great music, and everything was perfect. You could truly say, "The mountain shook again." Thanks to the entire team for the fantastic evening.

I had planned a bike ride today, including over the local mountain. I planned the route, checked all the locations, and everything went well. Unfortunately, the restaurant on the local mountain was closed at 3:00 PM (an event was starting there at 7:00 PM), which wasn't clear on the website or Google. My polite inquiry at 4:00 PM about whether I could get a drink in the self-service shop was rudely dismissed. It's a good thing you're not thirsty at all after a 130-meter climb on a bike. I'll leave this restaurant out of my future plans and won't bother you again.

This restaurant is located high on the local mountain and can be reached directly by cable car. The range of food and drinks is varied and the prices are reasonable. The view is outstanding and the wonderful terrace with a view of Bad Lauterberg invites you to linger. The dining room is rustic and comfortably furnished. I think it's a shame that no local beer is offered. But Veltins, Maisels and Aktien Bräu. I can't judge whether the restaurant is suitable for people with walking difficulties. We'll be back.

The view from the terrace is beautiful! Food is very tasty and large portions. Price performance fits!!!!! They also knew about celiac disease.

The service was quick and friendly. The coffee came quickly, we had to wait a while for the ice cream, but it was still within reasonable limits. All in all, the trip is worth it and we would recommend it to others.

We went to the local mountain for lunch today, it was simply delicious and the service was very friendly. Of course with a great view over Bad Lauterberg!

In any case, I can recommend this one. There is a great view from the restaurant, directly from the outside area looking out over the valley, Bad Lauterberg. Either take the cable car up or take the hiking route. I will definitely go there again. 👌😊 Employees are very nice. Coffee tastes good. 👍😊

A great place to stop for a break after a nice walk up the local mountain. The cable car is the alternative for disabled runners. Wonderful view over Bad Lauterberg with seating outside. We had delicious hot drinks!

We spontaneously went to Bad Lauterberg at the weekend and then hiked to the local mountain. We already know the local mountain and were still very positively surprised. From the food to the service to the price, everything was right. We had the schnitzel with mountain cheese, the kale with roast pork and Mettenden and the currywurst, just fantastic. Keep it up

If you ever take the cable car up, you should stop here. In winter when there is snow it is really cozy here and you can enjoy the great ambience and the view with a cup of tea or coffee or eat a delicious meal. I can only recommend a trip here.

We only had drinks (coffee and hot chocolate). Considering that they were only instant drinks, we were very disappointed for the price (almost €5 per drink). But there is nothing to complain about in terms of the ambience and service.

I had pre-ordered breakfast for 22 people. Everything was well organized. We sat separately and a buffet was set up for us. Everything was there so everyone found something tasty. Our vegetarian also had enough choice. Everything was replenished abundantly. It was very pleasant that no one looked at the clock and we didn't feel pressured to finish breakfast in any way. So we sat comfortably together in the inn until almost 2 p.m. The only drawback was that we couldn't start until 10:30 a.m. (the cable car doesn't start until 10:30 a.m.). That was quite late for breakfast for some guests. We had wonderful weather with snow and sunshine, so we had a wonderful view of Bad Lauterberg. I can only recommend the location and would be happy to come back.

Actually, we just wanted to enjoy the great view of Bad Lauterberg during the New Year's Eve fireworks from the local mountain, but then we noticed that the location upstairs was also open for "walk-in customers" and went in. In a really great, cozy location that invites you to linger and celebrate, we were warmly welcomed, invited to a New Year's champagne and Berliner and we were also spontaneously offered a table. Unfortunately we couldn't stay longer, but we have our sights set on this place for New Year's Eve 2025 and would be happy to recommend it to others. Just beautiful there!👍👍👍

It's great to ride the cable car up and down, even if it's a little foggy. I ate the best yeast dumplings in the world there, with the best vanilla sauce... a dream. The location has a traditional ambience suitable for the Harz Mountains. The service is very friendly and accommodating.

I went there for dinner today, I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience and service! 👌 When the food I ordered arrived and I took the first bite, the WOW 😱 effect came -> it was really hot, which you rarely experience with cheese spaetzle, even in the spaetzle region of Germany you've never had it so hot!
