Balkan Grill bei Miro in Bad Lauterberg im Harz

Nicht mal selbstgemachte cevapcici was sehr traurig ist fürn Balkan Grill !!! Sie sahen alle gleich lang und breit aus, so lange cevapcici gibt es selbstgemacht nicht!!!! Dann aufgeschnitten und kaum gewürz drinne alles die gleiche gepresste Konsistenz. Die Pommes dazu eher mager und dünn sowie ganz schwach gewürzt. Den Klecks Djuvecreis passt in ein Esslöffel, und die härte war der Ajvar aufm Teller mit ner Teelöffel größe zu vergleichen haha. Kein kajmak wie es sich für ein jugo gehört, dafür wurde ganz am anfang eine chiliölpaste aufm Tisch gelegt bevor das essen da war, bestimmt um den schlechten Hauptgang geschmacklich zu vertuschen. Im großen und ganzen viel zu teuer für penny Ware das einzigst gute war der Wein. In diesem Sinne Prost :)

Wir waren heute Abend mit unseren Kindern bei euch. Vielen Dank für das herzliche Willkommen und tolles Essen! Da gibt es einfach nichts zu meckern. Fleisch auf den Punkt gegrillt, Getränke super und ein wirklich faires Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Super aufmerksame Bedienung nicht zu vergessen. Bis zum nächsten Mal! LG

Jedes Wort ist eins zu wenig . Essen absolute Weltklasse noch nie so gut gegessen. Hier Kocht die Mutter noch und man Schmeckt die Liebe in den Bratkartoffeln bis zum Steak . Wer in Bad Lauterberg ist und nicht bei Miro isst verpasst was ❤️

Sehr nette freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen war leider nur Durchschnitt. Pommes, etwas Reis und Fleisch. Leider keine Soße dazu. Alles Recht fettig, aus der Pfanne und nicht vom Grill. Das hätte ich anders erwartet, besonders bei dem Namen Balkan Grill!!!

Trotz einiger negativer Google-Bewertungen habe ich mich entschieden, dem Balkangrill bei Miro in Bad Lauterberg eine Chance zu geben – und ich bin sehr froh darüber. Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich persönlich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Die Qualität der Speisen ist ausgezeichnet. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit hochwertigen Zutaten gearbeitet wird und großer Wert auf Geschmack gelegt wird. Das Essen war hervorragend zubereitet, frisch und geschmacklich auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Service und den Chef des Hauses. Er ist ein absoluter Profi, freundlich, aufmerksam und versteht sein Handwerk. Auch die Weinempfehlung war perfekt auf das Essen abgestimmt und hat das gesamte Erlebnis noch einmal aufgewertet. Man spürt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft und Erfahrung gearbeitet wird. Solch eine Qualität findet man heutzutage leider nicht mehr überall. Ehrlich gesagt wünsche ich mir, wir hätten in Berlin ein Restaurant mit dieser Kombination aus Gastfreundschaft, Service und hervorragender Küche. Wer gutes Essen, echte Gastfreundschaft und Qualität schätzt, sollte sich nicht von einzelnen negativen Bewertungen beeinflussen lassen und sich selbst ein Bild machen. Für mich war es ein rundum gelungener Besuch – ich komme sehr gerne wieder

Manchmal führt einen ein Abend nicht dorthin, wo man ursprünglich hinwollte, sondern genau dorthin, wo man landen sollte. Nachdem wir in Bad Lauterberg andernorts nichts mehr zu essen bekommen hatten, kamen wir schließlich zum Balkangrill bei Miro – und im Nachhinein war das ein ausgesprochener Glücksfall. Wir saßen aufgrund des schönen Wetters draußen, wobei auch der Innenbereich sehr einladend und gemütlich wirkte. Die Atmosphäre war herzlich, lebendig und zugleich angenehm entspannt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Charlie, der mit seinem charmanten Service sofort erkennen ließ, dass er sein Handwerk versteht: aufmerksam, freundlich, souverän und mit genau dem richtigen Gespür für seine Gäste. Das Essen war hervorragend. Herzhaft, frisch, wunderbar gewürzt und mit jener Selbstverständlichkeit zubereitet, die man nur dort findet, wo jemand wirklich kochen kann. Charlies Mama ist in der Küche ganz offensichtlich eine wahre Zauberin. Man schmeckt, dass hier Erfahrung, Liebe und Können zusammenkommen. Auch die Bierauswahl war sehr ordentlich, und der Schnaps aufs Haus zum Abschluss war nicht nur eine nette Geste, sondern wirklich ausgezeichnet. Für eine Nachspeise waren wir am Ende zu satt, aber nach diesem Essen zweifle ich nicht daran, dass auch sie eine gute Wahl gewesen wäre. Ein rundum wunderbarer Abend, getragen von gutem Essen, herzlichem Service und echter Gastfreundschaft. Dieses Restaurant hat seinen guten Ruf vollkommen verdient.

Ein richtig schöner Abend in Bad Lauterberg! Wir saßen wegen des tollen Wetters draußen auf der Terrasse, hätten aber auch gemütlich drinnen sitzen können. Der Service war von Anfang bis Ende ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Man hatte sofort das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Das Essen war hervorragend: große Portionen, sehr schmackhaft, frisch zubereitet und genau so, wie man sich ein gutes Balkan-Restaurant wünscht. Besonders gefallen hat mir, dass alles ohne Hektik, aber sehr professionell lief. Wir hatten vorher an zwei anderen Orten in Bad Lauterberg um 20 Uhr nichts mehr zu essen bekommen – umso glücklicher waren wir, bei Miro gelandet zu sein. Am Ende war es nicht nur eine Notlösung, sondern die beste Entscheidung des Abends. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir als Familie waren in diesem Restaurant Mittagessen war sehr lecker.

Ein typischer Balkan Grill, wie man ihn kennt und wie wir ihn mögen. Das Essen immer 1A, die weibliche Bedienung immer sehr freundlich und bemüht, der Chef manchmal etwas knautschig, aber auch er hat seine umgänglichen Momente.

Wir kommen schon seit vielen Jahren immer mal wieder. Das erste mal vor ca. 10 Jahren hatten uns auch ältere Herrschaften bedient. Es war super lecker und sehr freundlich und ist uns in Erinnerung geblieben. Die letzten beiden mal und auch heute war es wieder sehr lecker. Leider fehlt dem jungen Junior Chef dann leider das kleine 1x1 in dem Umgang mit seinen Gästen. Schade, wir sind gerne hier her gekommen. Aber nach heute nicht mehr.😔

Der Chef geht gar nicht. Er hat lautstark über einen längeren Zeitraum seinen netten jungen Mitarbeiter herumkommandiert. Anschließend hat der laut und aufgebracht mit der Küche diskutiert. Das ganze quer durch den Gastraum. Wir haben uns sehr unwohl gefühlt und an ein entspanntes Mittagessen war nicht zu denken. Die Preise haben unserer Meinung nach nicht zu den kleinen Portionen gepasst. Geschmacklich allerdings gut.

Wir waren als Gruppe im Ort in einem Hotel untergebracht. Und wollten alle zusammen Essen. An einem Montag oder Dienstag schlecht, da die meisten Restaurants geschlossen haben. Als ich ich am Morgen im Grill angerufen hatte und vorsichtig gefragt habe nach einen Tisch für neun Personen kam ein freundliches ja, bekommen wir hin. Erleichterung. Im Restaurant war ein Tisch gemütlich und sauber gedeckt. Wir wurden sehr herzlich betreut. Das Essen war ein Genuss. Nicht alle Speisen auf der Karte waren vorrätig, es gab aber ausgezeichnete Ausweg Möglichkeiten. Wir hatten viel Spaß und sind satt und zufrieden wieder zu unserm Hotel.

I'm really disappointed! The portions are tiny compared to other restaurants, and there's no sign of quality – the fries were frozen. The menu says they offer children's portions upon request, but even the regular portions are barely enough. The only positive thing was the waitress – as mentioned in other reviews, she was the only one who was friendly and attentive. The junior manager, on the other hand, seems aloof and arrogant – completely incomprehensible given the substandard atmosphere and the lackluster food. I grew up in the restaurant business myself and can't understand this kind of behavior from the junior manager. However, as I've read in previous reviews, several others feel the same way. The price-performance ratio is completely off. Many seem to praise this place only because of the prices, as a status symbol, not for any real quality. First and last time there! Zero chance of returning.

The food was excellent! The female waitress was also extremely friendly and attentive. But the junior manager is always on the lookout for the wrong kind of person. When we asked for our grilled meat without rice and fries and instead for salad, we were simply told that it wasn't possible. The additional salad then added €6.50.

Unfortunately, our child wasn't offered a salad, nor ketchup or mayo with the fries...at the neighboring table for the regulars, they did get that, and even a lollipop for the kids...We wouldn't recommend this restaurant...

The food is delicious! Unfortunately, we received a somewhat cold welcome and had to wait too long for our drinks. The dishes also arrived at different times, so we couldn't start eating together. When ordering, the waiter memorized the dishes without writing them down. This unfortunately resulted in something being forgotten. A pen and paper would certainly have been helpful here and wouldn't have bothered me as a guest. We sat at a table in the back, a bit off to the side. I would describe the lighting in the restaurant as dim—you may or may not like that. I wouldn't have minded it being a bit brighter. Finally, we had to wait quite a while to pay. Simply because we weren't in the waiter's line of sight. Conclusion: The food was very tasty, but there's room for improvement in the service and ambiance.

Not recommended for the price. I had a schnitzel with hunter's sauce and fried potatoes. The schnitzel was far too thin and dry due to the lack of sauce. The onions and ham on the fried potatoes were burnt. Overall, everything was too salty.

Das Essen war ausgesprochen lecker, ich hatte Scampi in Chili 🌶️ Olivenöl, sehr lecker, danach Schweinefleisch in einer pikanten Zwiebel Tomaten Paprika Sosse, äußerst lecker 😋 Dazu einen guten Weißwein und Wasser. Entreprise familiale depuis 1977 gérée par la famille « Beslic », de seconde génération. Terrasse extérieure. Une marche pour entrer dans l’établissement. Très grande salle intérieure avec une décoration typiquement des Balkans. Afin de conserver la qualité et la fraîcheur des préparations culinaires, ces dernières sont confectionnées dès l‘enregistrement de la commande. Donc du temps de préparation avant de voir les assiettes arriver en table notamment lorsque le restaurant est complet. Bar complet. Les viandes sont issues d’Amérique du sud. A souligner que le service se termine à 14H00 donc il vaut mieux arriver tôt. L’ambiance est sympathique, le service rapide et beaucoup de choix dans les propositions culinaires. Les assiettes sont servies bien chaudes et très copieusement garnies. A tel point que le « doggy bag » est de rigueur. A noter un bémol, le riz est un peu trop salé. Autrement les viandes sont excellentes. Ce restaurant reste donc un établissement à faire au moins une fois durant votre séjour. An outdated restaurant that is loudly run by a self-absorbed junior boss. When he entered, his wife (very nice by the way) was specifically asked whether dogs were allowed, which was confirmed in a very friendly manner. As soon as he was at the table, the junior boss started saying what he didn't want and that one should be considerate of the guests who hadn't arrived yet , the dog should only stay in the place shown by him, as other "guests" might be afraid! Our dog lay down and could no longer be heard or seen! After we had the menu and had each chosen a dish, I asked whether the gyros were from the rotisserie or from the pan. To this question I received a snippy answer that "his mother" prepared fresh every day. After asking again, I was told that it was from the spit (which was the case). When I asked if I would like tzatziki with it, I said I would be happy to add a little (ATTENTION - an extra 5 euros will be charged), but it was not mentioned that this costs extra, with a gyro already costing 18 euros (very manageable) plus almost cold fries! The salad beforehand was not enjoyable apart from the coleslaw, the salad dressing could not be defined and a 1/4 tomato, 2 slices of cucumber and grated beetroot. The sheep's cheese in oil that was supposed to come out of the oven was definitely under the salamander as it was only browned on top and the tomatoes placed between the sheep's cheese were also cool. The baguette served with it had also been baked for a long time or had been bought ready-made (I work in a restaurant myself and know how baguette is baked and also tastes fresh). Price performance doesn't match, unfortunately service doesn't match either! So our conclusion to the restaurant, thank you never again

Leider eine kulinarische Enttäuschung. Der Djuvec Reis total zerkoch zu einem Brei. Als wir nach Tzatziki fragten, reichte man uns Creme Fraiche mit einem ekligem Eigengeschmack. Der Teller war so dilettantisch angerichtet, dass dieser in einem Bahnhofsimbiss besser aussieht. Die Gulasch Suppe war eine Gulaschsoße. Das Restaurant ist eine Groteske.

Unfortunately, our visit to Miro's Balkan Grill wasn't what we had hoped for. The two of us were there and were initially greeted in a friendly manner by a waitress. But the initially pleasant atmosphere quickly changed when the junior manager began to entertain the entire restaurant with his loud voice. This significantly disrupted not only our conversation, but also the general ambience. The food was okay, but definitely with room for improvement. It was missing that certain something that makes a visit to a restaurant special. In addition, the menu offered Greek dishes, which seemed strange and inappropriate in a Croatian restaurant - especially since there is a Greek restaurant just a few doors away. The restaurant itself seems to be getting old. Neither the furnishings nor the atmosphere were convincing; it seems as if nothing has changed here for decades. Overall, the price-performance ratio did not justify what was offered. What was particularly disappointing was the feeling of not really being welcome. The junior manager seemed unprofessional and massively disrupted the stay with his loud presence. This significantly spoils the overall impression of the restaurant. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the Balkan grill at Miro.

This was the best restaurant we visited during our days in Bad Lauterberg. I still want to give a big minus mark because you didn't have any beer from the Balkans on the menu considering that you are a restaurant with food from the Balkans. Otherwise it was: Really cozy atmosphere! Very good food and large portions! Very nice staff! If I visit Bad Lauterberg again, I will definitely return to this restaurant.

A really nice restaurant with cozy seats and ambience. Felt comfortable and welcome as soon as we ordered a table over the phone. The chef left nothing to be desired when eating. The meat was juicy and tender and plentiful ☝️ even the shrimp starter was a tasty dream. Unfortunately I live in Hamm, which makes it difficult but not impossible to visit often I SAY THANK YOU LOUD TO MIRO 🤗

Very unfriendly hosts. The food tastes tasteless. Never again.

A good Yugoslavian restaurant. The food was good, but the portion was rather small compared to other restaurants. The service was good. This time we had a small complaint that was quickly resolved. The ambience fits very well with a “beam grill”. However, when I look at the menu, all I can say is make sure the restaurant doesn't lose its soul. You are becoming too international.

The food is tasty, but the portions are smaller than elsewhere and more expensive, for example: prawns 5 pieces for €29.00, elsewhere 7 pieces cost €25. The gentleman serving got all the attention, but maybe that's a Bakan trait.

Balkan Grill is an understatement. Here you will find the finest fillet steak. The wine was perfect and everything was perfect. An absolute tip if you want to have a very good meal. The service was very attentive. In summary, simply brilliant.

The ambience gets 5 stars, but the friendly smile of the nice lady gets 10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. We ordered “Jägerschnitzel” for lunch and didn’t regret the choice! 👍 The schnitzel was totally tender and juicy, with a great meat taste. The hunter's sauce, probably homemade, was the culinary highlight. The fries, fried with fresh fat, tasted delicious. Overall, we have to say that every visit here was worth it. Thank you! Very tasty food, good and fast service, just as you would expect. Gladly again. It is also advisable to reserve a table at the beginning of September to get a place under the umbrellas in the shade.

The food was great, the ambience was a bit old. The waiter is supposed to be self-absorbed... yes, you might think. It's a shame it ruins the good impression a little. 😏🤔🧐

Not recommended. The prices are absolutely disproportionate to the quality of the food. Side dishes are charged additionally to maximize profits even though the prices are already high, even the ketchup costs extra. The waiter/boss is self-absorbed and his demeanor is patronizing. We received the bill without asking and felt it was like being kicked out. This is probably how he creates space for new guests. We won't see each other again.

In summary: rather below average. Ambiance: you sit in plastic wicker chairs right on the street, it's zone 20 there, but one car after another rushes past. Food: quite expensive, especially since salad etc. has to be ordered as well, and it is just tiny. Also Ajvar etc. only for an additional charge. Otherwise completely normal grilled food with fries, the rice mentioned on the menu had to be requested. Tip for the owner: instead of just putting the food on the plate, you could also lovingly decorate it like next door. Portion sizes ok. Service: although the restaurant was almost empty, there were long waiting times. The service was rather bored, but the boss was "very self-confident", to put it in a friendly way. Conclusion: too expensive for what is offered.

The liver was above average, the skewer was a bit carelessly prepared. Quality average. Side dishes very small. Price/performance just OK. Very attentive service.

Once and never again that was the worst food I've ever had in my life - a bratwurst or sandwich is far better. And given the price range it's a shame, I was shocked. People probably want to deduct an onion soup for a whopping 9.50.
