Very unfriendly hosts. The food tastes tasteless. Never again.

A good Yugoslavian restaurant. The food was good, but the portion was rather small compared to other restaurants. The service was good. This time we had a small complaint that was quickly resolved. The ambience fits very well with a “beam grill”. However, when I look at the menu, all I can say is make sure the restaurant doesn't lose its soul. You are becoming too international.

The food is tasty, but the portions are smaller than elsewhere and more expensive, for example: prawns 5 pieces for €29.00, elsewhere 7 pieces cost €25. The gentleman serving got all the attention, but maybe that's a Bakan trait.

Balkan Grill is an understatement. Here you will find the finest fillet steak. The wine was perfect and everything was perfect. An absolute tip if you want to have a very good meal. The service was very attentive. In summary, simply brilliant.

The ambience gets 5 stars, but the friendly smile of the nice lady gets 10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. We ordered “Jägerschnitzel” for lunch and didn’t regret the choice! 👍 The schnitzel was totally tender and juicy, with a great meat taste. The hunter's sauce, probably homemade, was the culinary highlight. The fries, fried with fresh fat, tasted delicious. Overall, we have to say that every visit here was worth it. Thank you! We spent another great evening here with 8 people. The food is A1, although the portions are barely manageable. Friendly service and always something to say. We'll see each other again next year.

A culinary delight from a Lauterberg veteran

Not recommended. The prices are absolutely disproportionate to the quality of the food. Side dishes are charged additionally to maximize profits even though the prices are already high, even the ketchup costs extra. The waiter/boss is self-absorbed and his demeanor is patronizing. We received the bill without asking and felt it was like being kicked out. This is probably how he creates space for new guests. We won't see each other again.

Was there with my wife on August 16th, 2024. Food was simply delicious, nice and friendly service can only recommend it 👍👍

In summary: rather below average. Ambiance: you sit in plastic wicker chairs right on the street, it's zone 20 there, but one car after another rushes past. Food: quite expensive, especially since salad etc. has to be ordered as well, and it is just tiny. Also Ajvar etc. only for an additional charge. Otherwise completely normal grilled food with fries, the rice mentioned on the menu had to be requested. Tip for the owner: instead of just putting the food on the plate, you could also lovingly decorate it like next door. Portion sizes ok. Service: although the restaurant was almost empty, there were long waiting times. The service was rather bored, but the boss was "very self-confident", to put it in a friendly way. Conclusion: too expensive for what is offered.

Once and never again that was the worst food I've ever had in my life - a bratwurst or sandwich is far better. And given the price range it's a shame, I was shocked. People probably want to deduct an onion soup for a whopping 9.50.

The waiter's inappropriate clothing in faded jeans, his arrogant demeanor and his treatment of the guests really put us off. The turkey was ok, but served with bad fries. Unfortunately no lettuce leaf or any other side dish. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the waitress was friendly. An appreciative star for that 🌟 Incidentally, no guest is interested in whether their car has just broken down in the basement; that has no place in the guest room.

I wish that they have better options for Beef like Kepab or anything else . However we ordered small dishes and was tasty . Taking ito consideration the limited food options in the area . It was the best one .

We sat outside because of our big dog. The service was very quick at the table and extremely friendly. The food was well portioned and extremely tasty. We were guests as a larger family group for an extensive dinner. The service was first class because it was absolutely friendly and entertaining at times. The drinks and food requests were asked unobtrusively and even when there were repeated delays due to indecision, the waitress handled them in a completely professional manner. The food ordered was delivered at the right time as agreed and was all absolutely fresh and really delicious. The portion size was almost a bit too big for some (which could also be due to the time ;-) but it was definitely enough to fill a hungry adult. When paying, we were given a house-style aperitif and a sweet for the children, great. Everyone was extremely satisfied and we would be happy to visit this restaurant again.

I'm excited! The gyros were great, the pork steak (Rhodo plate) was super juicy and buttery. The spiciness of the hot sauce is definitely for advanced users, but goes great with the dish. The rice was also quite spicy. I would have liked some tzatziki with the dish. Unfortunately I didn't come up with the idea of ​​ordering one. Overall it was a great experience. Everyone very nice. We came here based on the good reviews and were bitterly disappointed. Unfortunately, the dishes on the lunch menu (all cost €14) are almost exclusively schnitzel dishes. Since we wanted to eat something typical of the Balkans, we had to dig a little deeper into our pockets. Plieskavica, i.e. minced steak filled with sheep's cheese, costs €20.50 here, the “robber's plate” costs an impressive €28.00. But that wouldn't be the problem in itself, if so, if the quality were appropriate. Unfortunately that wasn't the case at all. I doubt that there was actually sheep's cheese in the minced steak. It tasted a bit bland and was very dry. The robber's plate was a carelessly put together selection of various dry meat "specialties". The cheapest frozen fries were served with it. You could eat, but everything was more like a snack bar and in no way justified the prices quoted. The drink prices were also completely exorbitant. It's a shame, but we can't go here anymore.

We were spontaneously looking for a restaurant for dinner... today was Saturday and it was 8 p.m. We didn't make a reservation, our mistake ;) because the restaurants here are actually very busy. We then asked very nicely and after 10 minutes we had a seat :) The service, the ambience were very pleasant... we didn't miss anything. Everyone is sure to find something to eat. A large soft drink for €6...you'd rather drink beer. Even bread and aioli as examples cost €5 extra. The food was all very simple and not special. Even ketchup for the schnitzel cost extra. Price performance is not right at all. Goods for 4 tons. I'll be honest, I won't be coming back.

absoluter geheimtip, wir waren zufällig dort essen une waren sehr positiv überrascht. preis leistung war perfekt alles sieht (und schmeckt) absolut frisch aus, selbst die möhrchen sind selbst geschbibbelt und auf den punkt gekocht...steak war auf den punkt und die bratkartoffeln waren hammer, mit ausgelassenem speck gebraten. die portionen waren eher groß und auch toll angerichtet. die scharfe soße und der tzaziki waren weltklasse. serivce auch top !!! absolute weiterempfehlung

Portionen wurden halbiert, dafür der Preis pro Gericht fast verdoppelt. Geschmacklich ist es immernoch gut.

Kann diese guten Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Das gefüllte Hacksteak war wie Gummi mit ein wenig Käse, auf keinen Fall Schafskäse. Der Krautsalat ist vom Discounter besser. Der Chef ein Macho, hat mehrmals seine Frau angeblafft.

Fantastische Küche, toller Service

Essen war ok. Neu war für uns das Chili in Öl. Dafür gab es keine scharfen Zwiebeln und Ketchup nur begrenzt. Service nett. Ambiente sehr urig und aufs Land bezogen. Leider konnte man kein Essen mitnehmen und Preislich recht hoch.

Essen schmeckt gut. Wir hatten beim Steak etwas Pech, da relativ zäh. Allerdings perfekt gebraten. Kann passieren. Nächstes Mal vielleicht...

Wow. Wie fange ich an? Waren gerade hier essen. Und als Freund von Leber habe ich die Balkan Leber bestellt. Was soll ich sagen?! Außer was ich zum Kellner auch gesagt habe: das war die beste Leber, die ich bisher gegessen habe. Ich riskiere dabei sogar Ärger mit meiner Chefin, da sie Leber auch sehr lecker zubereitet. Aber diese Leber war einfach Weltklasse. Auch der Kellner war super freundlich und aufmerksam. Kommen gerne wieder.

Es war ein 1. Klasse Eindruck: Hervorragende Speisen, superhafte Bedienung und ein schönes Ambiente laden sicherlich jeden ein. Empfehlung und Gratulation ohne Übertreibung!

Wir waren heute auf Empfehlung hier, sind extra 70km gefahren und ich bin begeistert. Selten so lecker gegessen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, perfekt gewürzt, überhaupt nicht trocken und super aufeinander abgestimmt. Die Vorspeise grandios. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend, aber nicht aufdringlich. Eine wirklich großartige Empfehlung. Macht weiter so, wir werden definitiv wiederkommen.
