Seit Peppone in Gleisweiler zu gemacht hat, hat das Jägerbräu die besten Pizzen in der Region. Schöner dünner Boden, gut belegt und große Auswahl. Freundlicher Service und das selbstgebraute Bier ist hervorragend. Wir kommen immer wieder.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal im Jäger Bräu. Spontan angehalten. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Der Weizenradler war lecker. Das Tagesmenü immerhin 3 zur Auswahl war super. Die Bedienung hat uns auf sehr vieles hingewiesen was ich nicht so wichtig empfand, aber er erklärte uns das es viele Menschen gibt die dies wohl brauchen. Vom Schnitzel bis zum Tartufo und Espresso war alles sehr lecker. Der Preis war überraschend günstig. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder

Meine Partnerin und ich waren mit dem Rad dort und wollten Essen und trinken. Der Kellner wollte Getränke und Essen gleichzeitig aufnehmen. Da wir uns noch nicht für das Essen entschieden hatten, bekamen wir auch keine Getränke. Der Kellner sagte, er würde nicht 30 mal laufen wollen. Im Lokal war nur 1 Tisch belegt. Also kein Stress für ihn. Er wurde noch frech und arrogant. Wir gingen ohne etwas zu verzehren. Werde weiterhin im Bekanntenkreis keine gute Werbung für das Lokal machen

Essen immer gut und auch auf Sonderwünsche wird gerne eingegangen. Sehr angagierter Kellner, der sich alle Speisen korrekt ohne aufschreiben merken kann. Seine gute Laune und das gute preis leistungs Verhältnis machen es für mich seit Jahren zu einer fast wöchentlichen Anlaufstelle.

Das selbstgebraute Bier ist ein absoluter Genuss

Sind mit Freude vergangenen Freitag hergekommen und enttäuscht wieder gegangen, jedoch nicht wegen dem Essen.. 🙊 1,2 Mitarbeiter sind leider sehr desinteressiert, wirken teilweise abwesend, kommunizieren nicht, sind wortlos und absolut nicht serviceorientiert. 1 Mitarbeiter war ganz nett, mit dem hatten wir jedoch weniger zu tun. Man fühlt sich wenig willkommen, hatten den ganzen Besuch über das Gefühl, wir sollen am besten schnellstmöglich wieder gehen, damit man früher schließen kann. Es herrscht auch innerhalb des Teams ein spürbar unangenehmes Klima. Vielleicht gibt es auch Differenzen? Freude oder Teamzusammenhalt ist hier nicht spürbar. Es gab kein Hallo, nur die Küche schließt bald ( kamen gegen 20.35 Uhr) und wir sollen uns schnell entscheiden, er müsse dann wieder in die Küche. Es gab kein Nachfragen, ob alles in Ordnung ist, wir einen Wunsch haben, noch etwas nachordern wollen oder ähnliches. Ebenso gab es kein danke für Trinkgeld. Sehr schade. Das Essen ist überwiegend lecker ( Wiener Schnitzel, Bolognese Schnitzel, Nudeln, großer Salat, auch das Dressing und die Pizza), der Beilagensalat war jedoch nicht ganz frisch und auch nicht vorsortiert, war teilweise trocken und Stückchen anzutreffen, die man eigentlich aussortiert 🥗 Die Pommes waren sehr fettig, hart und trocken. Auch die Sauce zu den Nudeln war sehr ölig. ( Hatten zu 4 insgesamt 2 Vorspeisen, 2 Beilagensalate und 4 Hauptspeisen + Getränke). Für die Sauce zum Wiener Schnitzel musste mehrmals nachgefragt werden und es kamen die falschen Nudeln zum Bolognese Schnitzel, haben jedoch nichts gesagt, da wir eh leider nicht wirklich freundlich und nett empfangen wurden, schon ohne Kritik. Für das was man bekommt, ist das, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis leider nicht so gut. Echt schade, da es hier mal so ein herzlicher, warmer Ort war. Zu beachten ist, daß man hier nur bar bezahlen kann. Das Aquarium steht aktuell leer, es gibt einen Schrank mit Büchern und Gesellschaftsspielen. Muss man sich überlegen ob man hier nochmal herkommt, wenn man einen freudvollen, lustigen Familienabend verbringen möchte, eigentlich eher nicht, wenn man so viele andere Optionen hat. Schade jedoch ums Restaurant, hoffe das Beste 🌠🥲🙏🏻

Waren am 19.3 gegen Abend dort mit einer großen Gruppe, und ich kann nur sagen danke für den klasse 👍🏻 Abend . Das Essen sehr lecker 😋 eins der besten cordon bleu das ich je gegessen haben und das Bier 🍺 war so gut das ich direkt noch für zuhause mit genommen habe , kann das jägerbäu nur Empfehlen weiter so 👍🏻 ps der Service war auch erste klasse dort

We had a reservation at Jägerbräu for 14 people for our grandfather's 90th birthday. It was for 6 pm today. When we arrived, there was a sign on the door: "Closed due to illness." We didn't receive a call. No cancellation notice, and we were left standing there in front of closed doors. That was definitely the last time we'll be there. It was very embarrassing and upsetting for our grandfather. They could have at least called back. But for that to happen, you'd have to note down the phone number when making the reservation.

Good food and service for a small price. Lunch specials at lower prices. Overall, good value for money. Always a pleasure.

I stopped in here today with my husband. My salad with yogurt dressing was delicious. I also ordered bread to go with it. The bread was very fresh and fluffy. The crowning glory was the delicious, drinkable dark beer. It feels like we haven't had it at that price here in southern Lower Saxony for 10 years. My husband's beef steak also looked fantastic, and you could see that he really enjoyed it. Next time I'll try the pizza; I really liked the pizza from the next table. We'd love to come back if we're in the area again.

It used to be our favorite restaurant, but since the prices got too high the food doesn't taste good anymore. Why change something that was going well? Well, it's a shame that we hardly come anymore. I find it cheeky that you have to pay extra for each topping on your pizza, but if you don't want a topping then nothing is deducted from the price.

So, we were very satisfied. We didn't have a reservation (although it's recommended), but we still got a table in the beer garden right away. I don't know if it was an employee or someone in a management position, but he was very accommodating and everything worked out perfectly. We both had schnitzel with fries and a freshly tapped beer at a really fair price. Sure, it's nothing to worry about.

We were looking for German, more precisely Palatinate, cuisine and visited several restaurants, but unfortunately there was a lot going on everywhere and we decided to find what we were looking for on the Internet. We noticed the German name of the restaurant, Jägerbräu, but it turned out to be Italian. We got there, ordered food and then realized we could only pay at the bar. I had to drive out to go to a bank to withdraw cash. I ordered schnitzel with garlic sauce and it was my mistake because the sauce was garlic powder and wasn't tasty and completely destroyed the taste of the schnitzel (I don't recommend it). My wife ordered roast pork loin with rice, the rice was delicious, the meat was very chewy. Hence two stars!

Impossible to have been treated in the Jägerbräu today. Had reservations, 4 people didn't come due to illness. Therefore there were 7 of us instead of 11 people. The waiter or boss called us disrespectful, cashed in on us straight after the meal without asking and then didn't show up again. I will not enter this store again. Been treated rudely. Won't go there anymore. The waiter insulted us several times and treated us unfriendly. There were 4 people less because of illness, there was nothing going on, only one table was occupied and he said he lost sales because of us. You can mention it once, but don't complain in a loud tone and insult us. I would have liked to get up and leave. We drank and ate something and then he charged us straight away. We ordered Fettuccine Quattro and got Fettuccine Papalina. The food was very bad. Totally dry. No sauce on the noodles. We were very disappointed. But no one there cares about that. I can't recommend it. You no longer get currywurst, no more small salad, no more kebab plate.

Five stars for a middle-class restaurant? I say: YES! Because here I don't expect the service or the menu of a starred kitchen from the "Michelin Guide". My expectations are good food at a reasonable price with good service in a nice environment. And THAT is exactly what we were offered. Initially, ordering by telephone went completely smoothly. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and immediately informed me when I could pick up my order. This clear communication made the entire process very pleasant from the start. When I arrived on site, I was immediately served in the specially set up pick-up area. My food was ready on time and carefully packaged so transportation was hassle-free. The pickup stand was well organized and there were no waiting times, which I found to be very customer friendly. The most important part: the food itself. The portion was generous and I was completely impressed by the quality of the food. It was not only delicious but also filling. After the meal I was pleasantly full and completely satisfied. Payment also went smoothly; I paid in cash and the staff here were also very friendly and efficient. Overall, my experience was extremely positive. From the smooth ordering to the punctual pickup to the delicious food, everything was perfectly organized. I highly recommend this service and will certainly be returning soon.

We have been visiting Jägerbräu for many years. Now we turn our backs on him. The restaurant was a favorite due to its convenient location, very good price-performance ratio and, above all, the friendly staff. What happened now?! The fact that prices in the catering industry have risen is absolutely understandable and valid. At the same time, the portions in Jägerbräu were also significantly smaller. For the grilled pepperoni, for example, the portion is about 1/3 smaller. Both in terms of the number of pepperonis and the accompanying flatbread. There is also no longer a free choice of seats. The two of us came to an almost empty restaurant and had to take a table for two directly opposite the door and therefore in the draft. On several occasions the waiter was brisk, to say the least. The seating is now very tight. During one of our visits there was a wheelchair user present. Four people had to get up for him to get to the door. But even without a wheelchair you have to sit quite close to the table. Otherwise it will be difficult for waiters or guests to get through. Another point of criticism is poor communication. We were sitting and had already had our drinks when we found out when we ordered our food that there was currently no pizza available. With all due respect, this is one of the highlights and a significant part of the map. This should have been pointed out beforehand with a sign on the door, but at the latest when the menu was handed out. The next disappointment followed immediately. I decided on a kebab plate. The last time I ate it there – there was meat, sauce, salad and fries on the plate. This time only meat, sauce and fries in a “manageable” quantity. Empathy and service mentality were lost here with the change in personnel. It's obviously just a matter of processing as large a mass as possible as quickly as possible. It's a shame that the boss can't assert herself with her previous warm and open manner.

Update from March 8th, 2024: We were regular guests for many, many years. Unfortunately, after our original 5-star rating, we can now only agree with the more recent reviews. The service was originally super friendly and communicative - especially towards the regular guests. The new waiter cannot currently keep up with this original standard. Prices went up a bit everywhere, which is absolutely fine. Unfortunately, the portions became significantly smaller at the same time. The price-performance ratio is still good. We no longer order an appetizer, a second drink and we also skip the coffee afterwards. The restaurant is conveniently located, which is why we still stop in on the weekends between gardening jobs. However, we reduced the frequency of our visits and the number of people with whom we come to the minimum. Unfortunately, what was special about this place was lost. We are curious to see whether anything will change and will be happy to post again.

I ordered a pizza and the food wasn't good at all, very carelessly made unfortunately and many things felt like it wasn't cooked through. Unfortunately, service was more than just bad and a gentleman complained on the phone. Unfortunately very disappointed, I've only heard good things but unfortunately I have to say at least with my order it was exactly the opposite. Will not order there again. But you have to know.
