Wir waren hier Abendessen und alles was wir bestellt haben, war super lecker! Angefangen vom Wild bis hin zur Forelle, sehr sehr lecker! Toller aufmerksamer Service, vielen Dank für den Abend

Wir können nur das Restaurant beurteilen, sehr schönes Ambiente, freundliche und schnelle Bedienung, das Essen lecker und ansprechend serviert. Dafür gibt es ein großes Lob. Was uns abschreckt, erneut zu reservieren, ist, dass bei einer Absage weniger als 72 h(!!!) vorher mit einer Stornogebühr von 40 € pro Person "gedroht" wird, sollte der Tisch nicht neu belegt werden können. Bei allem Verständnis, es gibt eben auch mal akute Krankheitsfälle, gerade in Familien, wo man am selben Tag absagen muss. Dass man dann bei 4 Köpfen 160€ für nichts zahlen soll, halte ich bei allem Verständnis für die Gastronomen für komplett überzogen. Deshalb werden wir wohl eher nicht wiederkommen. Schade.

Wir haben es heute sehr genossen und draußen bei Sonnenschein gegessen. Super nettes und freundliches Personal und leckere Speisen.

Wir waren heute 31.3.26 auf der Durchreise im Pfälzer Hof zu Abend essen.Zusammengefasst können wir sagen das das Essen,der Service und das Ambiente hervorragend war. Es war ein vollkommen gelungener Abend.

Heute Abend mit Freunden erstmals im Restaurant Pfälzer Hof gewesen. Sehr nettes Ambiente, sehr guter, freundlicher wie auch aufmerksamer Service und sehr leckere Pfälzer Spezialitäten mit gutem Wein. Fazit: Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert, wir kommen wieder!

Ich war in Begleitung vor Ort. Ich hatte einen Pfälzer Sauerbraten. Der Service war 1A und auch das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut. Ich kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen.

We stayed here for two nights and we really enjoyed it. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very nice. Unfortunately, we could hear the water pipes quite loudly, probably from the upstairs rooms. In the huge shower, the faucet is very far from the showerhead (see picture). When we checked in, we were missing a towel and bathrobes for our massage appointment. But they were promptly delivered. That's just complaining at a high level and not a big deal at all. The massage was fantastic and highly recommended. The food at the hotel was first-class. Really, really great. The breakfast, too. Everything you could wish for.

Tuesday evening we had dinner at the Pfälzer Hof – luckily we had a table reservation – and were rewarded with a meal in an exceptionally modern, light-filled, glass-fronted venue with tasteful and harmonious interior decor in a formerly historic inn building. Attentive and extremely friendly service, and the food and drinks selection left nothing to be desired. Very good value for money. We will definitely be back!

We dined at the Pfälzer Hof for dinner on a Sunday and were very satisfied. Reservations are recommended. When we arrived, it was very busy. Parking is signposted and can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The welcome and service were excellent. Our waiter, Fabio, deserves special mention. Young, dedicated, very friendly, and accommodating. The menu changes seasonally and offers something for everyone. Meat and fish dishes, including game variations, are offered. Fish and vegetarian dishes, appetizers, and desserts. Everyone will find something here. An extensive drinks list also offers everything you need for a perfect evening. Wines from various wineries are offered, both by the glass and by the bottle. The price/performance ratio is absolutely perfect. The ambiance is cozy, chic, and professionally decorated. The kitchen team delivered a sensational performance. It was a delight. Keep it up! We will definitely be back. I would highly recommend the Pfälzer Hof.

A family-run business with an outstanding restaurant and very attentive service. The wine selection also leaves nothing to be desired. My wife and I certainly won't be visiting again.

Family-run hotel with very good rooms. Excellent quality and preparation of the food in the restaurant. Very attentive and friendly (regular) staff. Everything is well-organized and service-oriented. The price-performance ratio (breakfast and parking included) is therefore reasonable and reasonable. For excursions to neighboring cities, including Speyer and Heidelberg, and to some of the city's attractions, there are good connections (frequent) by bus and, if necessary, train. The bus stop is a minute away. The Germany ticket, with departure times available in the train app, was worthwhile. A clear recommendation for relaxing days (without a car) with good food.

Excellent Palatinate cuisine, the Saumagen (sausage stomach) has won awards, and we also had wild boar from our own hunt, which was very tasty. Very attentive staff and good service.

We dined at the Pfälzer Hof for the first time the day before yesterday. It was the best lasagna (wild lasagna) I've ever eaten. The service is very nice, very friendly, and very competent. We celebrated our wedding at the restaurant in 2015. Everyone loved it and enjoyed the food. The advice was excellent, and the decorations were implemented according to our wishes. We and our guests were completely satisfied, including those who booked a room. Since then, we've eaten there every year on our wedding anniversary. Sometimes more often. It's very informal, and we receive a warm welcome every time. I actually thought I'd already written a review, but I was wrong. I should have done that much sooner. The price/performance ratio is more than acceptable for us. We'd be happy to come back.

The ambience is pleasantly bright, and the spacious dining room gives the restaurant a distinctive character. However, the room we were assigned felt more like a seminar room. Despite the visible air conditioning, it wasn't air-conditioned. The service was very attentive; even a forgotten salad was promptly served. My dish, the lamb shank, was perfectly prepared, and special requests were also easily accommodated. Overall, the price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. There are minor drawbacks in the timing of the service: after the main course and receiving the dessert menu, it took over an hour for the next service. This was likely due to the high occupancy at dinner time. One point that deserves critical consideration in my opinion: In the dining room, passageways were blocked by tables, and escape and rescue routes were blocked with table chains, which is problematic from a fire safety perspective.

The Pfälzer Hof is a very pleasant hotel in Edenkoben's city center. Many guests have been returning for years. There is good, ample parking, and there are good connections to nearby bus stops in all directions. The restaurant is located in a glass-roofed courtyard. Everything is new and stylishly furnished. The restaurant service is high-quality, and the prices are more than reasonable for the service provided. The service is fully professional, but always has time for a quick, friendly chat. The room we stayed in was large and well-furnished. State-of-the-art media technology is available. The entire hotel is immaculately clean, including the cleaning of the rooms. I can happily recommend this hotel and would book it again and again, as the room prices are also reasonable.

My review concerns the restaurant. We ate here over the weekend and can only recommend it. Fabio served us that evening and was very friendly and, above all, very attentive. We haven't had such good service in a long time. The wild boar fillet with chanterelle mushrooms was delicious, as were the Maredo medallions. The portions are very generous; everyone should be able to eat their fill here.

The welcome was very warm and friendly. All the staff were helpful and extremely courteous. The room was very nice and very clean, as was the bathroom. Our dog was welcome. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Dinner in the restaurant was very, very tasty. Very attentive service. In summary... we felt very comfortable and would gladly come back.

The rooms at the Pfälzer Hof are very spacious and you feel very comfortable. The service is also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is of a good standard and the dinner, here I would recommend a'la menu rather than the suggested menu, but changing orders wasn't a problem at all!

This review is for the restaurant; we didn't stay overnight. This was our third Christmas dinner and we were absolutely thrilled! We always enjoyed everything; the quality is very good, and the portions are absolutely generous. We like the atmosphere there, and the service is particularly noteworthy! Kudos to everyone; the team works phenomenally well together, there are no long waits, and the atmosphere is great with a full house. We will be back, thank you very much!

Very tasty food and excellent, quick service

Unfortunately we found the price-performance ratio to be too overpriced. The room was clean and fine. Unfortunately, the breakfast didn't stand out. It was very loud in the breakfast room and the things offered were OK. But unfortunately a bit loveless and not fair to a 4 star hotel. Conclusion: satisfactory but too expensive.

The restaurant is nice and modern. The service was too stiff for me personally. But that's a matter of perspective. The food was good The dog would definitely have been happy with a bowl of water, but unfortunately it wasn't available. I'm wavering between 3 and 4 stars for the restaurant, but the benefit of the doubt is for the defendant. Maybe they didn't have such a good day after the season. But we will try again.

It's very nice to sit in the hotel restaurant. The ceiling is made of glass, which creates a special atmosphere. The food is high quality and many regional dishes and well-raised meat are offered. The service was excellent and the price was reasonable.

We can absolutely recommend the Pfälzer Hof. Spent three wonderful days there. We had a large, comfortable room that really lived up to its name: new, clean and very nice with a balcony. All the employees were very friendly and deserve high praise! The restaurant is very nice and the food is first class! We'll be back, even if the town of Edenkoben has little to offer overall. But there is a lot to do in the area and there is good wine throughout the area!

Really worth recommending!!! We were at the restaurant for dinner. Both the “favorite dish” with Palatinate specialties and the game liver were fantastic. Well prepared and a tasteful experience. In addition, a very attentive and friendly service. This convinced us so much that we went back there two days later and everything was confirmed again. Very tasty food, nice atmosphere...

Been there for the third time today, but also the last time. What we, as a family, had to experience today cannot be surpassed in terms of audacity. It was around 9:50 p.m. when we paid and wanted to finish our wine comfortably. We sat on the garden terrace, which according to the homepage is open until 10:30 p.m. At exactly 10:06 p.m. we were catapulted out, i.e. thrown out. It wasn't much longer that the chair would have been taken away from us. The waiter, already with the key in his hand, asked us with the words, "Would you please leave now, we're finishing work"... we had to down the few sips of wine in order to "take off" immediately! Well noticed 10:06 p.m. That was a complete impudence!! We've enjoyed coming so far, the food was good, but this kind of behavior towards the guests is intolerable! Some restaurateurs are probably doing very well, but with a good cushion it doesn't matter whether the guests are satisfied?! The guest brings the money!! And our bill, by the way, was not small. So we are still speechless! Not only will we not visit this restaurant again, no, under no circumstances will there be any further recommendations (more). We congratulate you on not having to rely so much on guests.

Booked online and went smoothly. Check-in also went very well, staff were very friendly. Rooms very clean and spacious. The room prices are, in my opinion, cheap. Visited the attached restaurant in the evening. Service was very friendly and attentive. Food was good and reasonably priced. You are welcome to come back here again.

We were here over the weekend, what can you say... the service was super nice all around, we were always asked if everything was OK... the rooms were in a very nice condition. Four of us went there for dinner What can I say... An all-round package that there is nothing wrong with. The portions were generous, beautifully presented, super tasty and the price was reasonable. We had roast Burgundy, schnitzel and 2x Saumagen. The service was very attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was bright yet cozy. A restaurant that I can absolutely recommend. Zum Hotel kann ich leider nichts sagen, denn ich war nur im Restaurant und das schon sehr oft. Und das sagt eigentlich schon alles aus.

Auf Empfehlung, weil ich bei einer Weinprobe gesagt habe, dass ich so gern nochmal richtig gut pfälzisch würde, sind wir ohne Reservierung in den Pfälzer Hof gelangt. Ehrlich gesagt, wäre ich allein leider nicht auf die Idee gekommen. Das gesamte Ambiente einschließlich der Weihnachtsdeko war absolut mein Geschmack. Kulinarisch kann man durchaus sagen, dass da nicht viel Luft nach oben ist. Auch die an den Nebentischen servierten Gerichte luden wirklich ein, öfter zu kommen. Besonders die saisonale Ausrichtung mit überwiegend heimischen Produkten imponiert. Zu guter letzt muss ich den Kellner loben. Ich dachte, solche Kräfte gibt es gar nicht mehr. Spitzenklasse!

Sehr schönes Hotel mit wunderbaren Zimmern. Insbesondere die Küche ist ein absolutes Highlight. Sehr gute regionale und saisonale Gerichte. Der Service am Tisch ist außerordentlich gut und kompetent. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen an dem man immer das Gefühl hat willkommen zu sein. Ich freue mich bereits auf das nächste Mal !

Wir waren nur zum Essen im Restaurant. Die beiden Herren die uns bedient haben waren wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Das Ambiente ist einfach top. Das einzige was mich nicht ganz überzeugt hat, war die Menge an Essen auf dem Teller. Wir hatten Wildgulasch mit Knödeln. Lieber hätte man noch 1, 2 Euro mehr bezahlt. Außerdem war das Fleisch nicht so zart, wie man es sich gewünscht hätte.

The meat on the menu is very good prepared and it was no problem being recommended a wine suitable for the food. For my second visit I also stayed over night here and there is plenty of space in the rooms.

Every time we are in Germany and travelling around we are trying to come back to this wonderful place. Hotel is very pleasant, clean and comfortable, there is also great restaurant on site. We especially love to enjoy breakfast after a good night rest.

Ein super Hotel mitten in der Stadt, freundliche Rezeption und ein gutes Restaurant.

Hat sich wieder weiterentwickelt. Wer neue tolle Weintrends aus der Umgebung sucht, findet auf der Weinkarte des Pfälzerhofes immer gute Anregungen.

Waren zum Mittagessen da, und das ist sehr zu empfehlen.
