Whenever I'm in the area, I love stopping by. The location is perfect for me: quiet, with parking in front of the hotel. The village is within walking distance. The rooms are great! Newer and relatively large. The restaurant has a very good selection at really fair prices, which isn't common these days, especially not in such a high-quality setting. The breakfast is also excellent. I'd happily come back again!

The rooms are large, clean, and well-equipped. The service is so friendly and amazing. After working out at CleverFit, I quickly called the hotel 10 minutes before the kitchen closed to ask if they could bring me an omelet to my room, which I'd eat cold. The result was probably the best omelet I've ever had AND, freshly made, not cold in my room, I could comfortably eat it in the hotel bar. Thank you so much for that!!!!!! The only thing, though, is complaining at an extremely high level. I like very modern rooms/bathrooms 🙈🙈 I don't think I had one of the new rooms either time. But as I said, complaining at a high level. The rooms were clean, NOT worn, very comfortable. Looking forward to my next visit.

The hotel is located directly on the vineyards. It's an absolute dream. Step out and feel at home; the rooms are very clean and tidy. There's no air conditioning in the rooms, but it's very pleasant in the evening with the window open. The dinner is very good and offers a variety of both visual and flavors. The receptionists are okay, I think, just with a Southern Palatinate temperament. But still very nice.

Ideal as a stopover on the way south. Plenty of free parking right outside. Unfortunately, no air conditioning. Dinner was okay; next time we'd rather walk to the village, where they also sell delicious Italian ice cream.

Unfortunately, I had room 217, which is right next to the elevator, so you can hear all the elevator noises, and the doors and walls are a bit thin. I was only in the hotel for about 6 hours (just to sleep between two weddings). I was able to skip check-in. I was able to easily get my room key from a box at night. The receptionist even called me herself, and everything went smoothly and was super friendly. The breakfast was also great and plentiful. Beautiful view of the greenery.

Very quiet location; however, it's close to an adventure playground, so it can get noisy during the day. However, it's heavenly quiet in the evenings and at night.

At first glance, it's clean, but then the hairdryer is greasy and the bathroom walls aren't clean. The staff in the breakfast room tend to look the other way.

We stayed at Das Prinzregent in Edenkoben last night and were very pleased. We booked two rooms, both of which were very spacious and comfortable. The reception was warm and friendly; you immediately feel welcome. In the evening, we ate in the hotel's restaurant; the portions were generous and delicious. After dinner, we took a walk through the vineyards surrounding the hotel; it was simply beautiful and relaxing. A truly enjoyable short stay in the heart of the Palatinate wine region. We would gladly return!

Overall, a very good hotel. Krüger doesn't have air conditioning. It's an excellent place for a stopover. The restaurant serves very good food.

The value for money here isn't right. We had a nice room, a delicious breakfast buffet, and the location right next to the vineyards was lovely. But the price is definitely too high for that!

The restaurant is absolutely recommended! From the outside it is not obvious that this building contains both a hotel and a restaurant. It's a bit decentralized but still well attended.

Quiet hotel on the Palatinate Wine Route with an unchanged good breakfast The 6th short break in this beautifully located hotel once again impressed us with quiet nights and very good service. The Palatinate Wine Route shows its most beautiful side, especially during the almond blossom season in mid-March. The location surrounded by vineyards, the large, well-kept comfort rooms, the parking spaces with short distances and an elevator to the rooms in the Luitpold wing, the well-kept Mama's restaurant with the sheltered outdoor terrace are good reasons for the Prinzregent. Another highlight is the very good breakfast at Mama's. The buffet offers a fine selection of regional products: Fresh bread and rolls from the bakery, juices, Palatinate sausage and an extensive selection of cheese go far beyond the usual offerings in comparable hotels. The quick and friendly Anja ensures that breakfast runs perfectly - she looks after her guests attentively and confidently keeps an overview of the buffet. The service throughout the entire house is perfect: The rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day and the friendly housekeeper provided us with washcloths when we asked. If you are planning a trip to the most beautiful places and sights on the Southern Wine Route, we can unreservedly recommend the Prinzregent. We have found our ideal location for the Southern Wine Route.

Reserved a table at short notice for Christmas. Very pleasantly surprised. Operation and service top. Food and drinks definitely upscale.

We didn't find value for money: Pro: The breakfast was tasty, fresh and had enough choice. The terrace invites you to linger. Cons: Rooms were noisy because they faced the half-open breakfast room. Room was dusty, not cleaned enough for my taste. The bathroom has no storage space. Poor advice and communication from the hotel staff.

Very cozy hotel room with a great location for hiking activities

After a long search, we found a GREAT place to stay here for my husband's big birthday and our "secret" wedding on the same day and the great, relaxing days afterwards Nice service, delicious food, centrally located. The best way to get back after a hike or a wine festival is by bus. We were definitely not here for the last time. Many thanks to the entire team 🫶

We can use the Prinzregent as a location for weddings/birthdays/confirmations/ect. very recommended. In July 2024 we celebrated our wedding here with 40 people. Our expectations were exceeded and our guests were also very impressed. We discussed the menu, the champagne reception, the program items, the table arrangements and decoration thoroughly with Ms. Kilic in advance and she gave us very good advice and ensured that everything was implemented according to our ideas. The service team looked after us very well. We will remember this great celebration for a long time, thank you very much!

Clean hotel located on the outskirts of town with good cuisine and a rich breakfast

We were at the Prinzregent with 25 people from June 7th, 2024 to June 9th, 24th. Great location, parking garage, great food (gourmet menu!!) and first class service. Thanks again to the team.

Great location 🤩 very very very bad service! No drinks outside after 6 p.m. No atmosphere is allowed in the bar area. We wanted to celebrate a birthday, but this was not desired. Breakfast advertised as a 12/10 unfortunately it was a 2/10… almost no choice… but everything was very expensive. Not recommendable. Restaurant Kastanienhof in the area is highly recommended.

The hotel is in a nice area. Unfortunately I was only there one night. There is a very rich breakfast. There is a nice playground for children. If I'm in this area again I will definitely stay there again.

We had a large, airy room with a balcony and a large bathroom (room 103): ideal for feeling good. The restaurant is very stylishly decorated: it's fun to dine there. Soups, asparagus dish, Viennese schnitzel and cheese variation as well as the wines: all BEST. The service was very attentive and friendly. You have to have a bit of self-praise now if you've read some of the other reviews of the service at Prinzregent: Just like you call into the forest, it sometimes sounds like that. The prices correspond to a 4 star hotel in the Palatinate, but are justified when you take into account the situation in the catering industry as a whole (e.g. VAT increase for meals to 19%). And the breakfast buffet: it leaves nothing to be desired. And if you really expect fish there, you should go to the North or Baltic Sea...

We were there for coffee in the afternoon. Ate delicious almond cake. Tables were beautifully set, water carafes and glasses were ready. Friendly service staff. It was very nice.

During the week the situation at the playground seems to be pleasant and not so exciting. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied. The rooms themselves are pleasantly furnished and comfortable.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Sieht von außen etwas unscheinbar aus, aber innen ist es prima. Die Zimmer sind toll, das Restaurant wirklich gut und erstklassig eingerichtet, das Personal wirklich freundlich. Meine Aufenthalte hier finde ich immer sehr schön!

Ich war zwei Tage auf einer Schulung meines Betriebes dort. Es echt super, die Verpflegung während der Schulung war toll, es war immer etwas da, ob Kuchen, Joghurt Süßes. Die Kaffeemaschine macht sehr gutem Cappuccino. Mittag und Abendessen waren geschmacklich sehr gut. Service war super. Portionen bei einem Menue ausreichend. Das Wienerschnitzel war so lecker. Ich würde auch als Privatperson dort einchecken und das Super Frühstücksbuffett genießen, es gibt alles was das Herz begehrt.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Wir haben ein Mädelswochende dort verbracht. Unser Zimmer lagen nebeneinander. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut. Der Service aufmerksam. Das Abendessen ist etwas gehobener vom Preis und von der Küche. War aber gut. Von hier aus kann man auf direkten Wanderwegen in die Nachbarschaften wandern.

Das Hotel Prinzregent in Edenkoben ist eine absolute Empfehlung. Die Zimmer sind groß sehr gut eingerichtet und schön. Die Aussicht aus den Zimmern isr sehr schön. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichaltig und das Restaurant hat eine sehr gute Küche. Alles in Allem eine Empfehlung. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Wir waren anlässlich eines Geburtstags zum Mittagessen im Restaurant. Der Empfang sowie der weitere Service durch die sehr unfreundliche Servicekraft lassen uns zu dem Entschluss kommen, daß wir dieses Restaurant nicht wieder besuchen. Als wir die Rechnung bestellten, fiel es der Bedienung ein das wir anlässlich eines Geburtstags da waren, da wurde dann gefragt ob sie jedem ein Glas Sekt bringen darf, blöd nur das der Ehrengast schon zur Tür raus war! Das hätte definitiv am Anfang passieren sollen (wie bei dem Nachbartisch, da war nämlich auch ein Geburtstag!) Desweiteren wurde während des ganzen Aufenthaltes das Besteck klappern in die Schubladen im Speiseraum einsortiert, das muss nicht sein!

Ein gutes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern, ruhige Lage nahe den Weinbergen. Das freundliche Person war sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen, das Essen und die Weinauswahl ist gut. Der Aufenthalt hat uns gefallen.

Essen ist ok, sehr ausgemerzt und routiniert, langweilig. Weinkarte ist sehr gut. Service ist schlechter als beim Pommesbude, extrem ungeschult und holen was Personal (aus dem ganzen), das letzte raus. (Was eigentlich ok wäre) Schon vor dem Covid&Fachkräfte Mangel war der Service mangelhaft bzw. unangenehm. Mich als Gast gehen interne Probleme nichts an und möchte damit nicht konfrontiert werden. Wenn ihr das nicht schafft, backt kleinere Brötchen. Küche ist überall dabei (Catering), ist aber allerdings nirgends nennenswert. Es ist überall dabei, aber nur fast gut.

Schöne Standort, aber Essen nicht gut und sehr teuer

Wenn man unfreundliche und schnippische Angestellte mag, ist man hier richtig. Wir kamen kurz nach 14 Uhr an die Rezeption und statt einem "Guten Tag " kam: Nur damit sie gleich bescheid wissen, in das Zimmer können sie erst ab 15 Uhr. Ich hatte ein Zimmerupgrade gebucht, da man mir telefonisch zugesagt hatte, dass in dieser Zimmerkathegorie eine kaffee- Kapsel-Maschine sei. Es waren allerdings nur 2 Tütchen löskaffee im Zimmer. Auf meine wirklich freundliche Frage, ob wir vielleicht ein falsches Zimmer bekommen hätten und wie wir die Sache lösen könnten, wurde unsere Buchung vom Hotel storniert. Wir sind viel in internationalen Hotels unterwegs, aber so etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Bucht besser ein anderes Hotel!!!!

Sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Essen. Ruhige Lage die Zimmer sind eher einfach und fas Frühstück OK. Die Lüftung hat den Geruch von der Küche im Haus verteilt, was ich weniger optimal empfand.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel. Bereits der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Das Zimmer war geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Vom Balkon hatte man einen schönen Blick auf Weinberge und Wald. Das Abendessen war ein Genuss, geschmacklich hervorragend und eine üppige Portion, von freundlichen und aufmerksamen Servicekräften serviert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

22 Minuten nach Bestellung auf ein Getränk warten und 21 Minuten auf die Rechnung - sorry, aber hier sollte dringend nachgebessert werden - und Freundlichkeit beginnt mit einem Lächeln

Schönes ruhiges hotel in de. Weinbergen. Gut gelegen für Fahrrad und wa der Touren im Pfälzer Wald.

Im Hotel Prinzregent war ich für zwei Nächte in einem sehr schönen, modernen Zimmer untergebracht. Das Badezimmer war nicht zu klein und hochwertig. Abendessen und Frühstück sehr lecker mit aufmerksamen Servicekräften. Rundum ein guter Aufenthalt. Nette Bar, tolle Weine aus der Pfalz. Gerne wieder!

Ich hatte ein DZ für zwei Personen gebucht. Leider waren im Zimmer nur Handtücher und Bettwäsche für eine Person vorzufinden. Im Zimmer und im Bad waren Risse in der Wand (jeweils ca. 1 Meter lang) und dies bei einem Zimmerpreis von 198,-- pro Übernachtung. Das Frühstück gibt es bis 10:00 Uhr. Als wir am ersten Tag gegen 09:00 Uhr den Frühstücksraum betreten haben, war kein einziger Sitzplatz für das Frühstück eingedeckt. Das unfreundliche Personal war dabei die Tische für das Mittagessen vorzubereiten, das im gleichen Raum serviert wird. Nur widerwillig wurden uns zwei Plätze eingedeckt. Am Abreisetag muss man das Hotelzimmer bis 11:00 Uhr verlassen. Bereits um 09:45 Uhr wurde nachgefragt, wann wir nun (endlich) abreisen. Diese Feststellungen dürfen in einem 4-Sterne Hotel nicht vorkommen. Fazit: NIE WIEDER!

Tolles Hotel - Essen und Unterbringung super

War zwei Tage zu einer dienstlichen Veranstaltung. Zimmer: Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und auf den ersten Blick sauber. Leider war im Badmülleimer noch der Abfall eines Gastes, der vorher dort war. Unter dem Toilettendeckel war ein Haar. Alleine dafür 1,5 Sterne Abzug. Tagungsraum: Sehr geräumig, waren knapp 30 Leute. Getränke und Snacks ausreichend in Bezug auf die Auswahl während der Pausen. Tee und Kaffee inklusive. Hier gab es nichts zu mäkeln. Empfang war freundlich, beim Auschecken könnte man eventuell nachfragen, wie der Aufenthalt war, anstatt sich über den Kratzer auf der Zimmerkarte zu beschweren. Für den nicht vorhandenen Abschied 0,5 Abzug, manchmal hat man vielleicht einen schlechten Tag, aber die etwas erfahrenere Dame war weder freundlich noch dem Preis-Niveau entsprechend. Das Frühstück war von der Auswahl und der gefühlten Qualität gut. Das Essen war 2 mal sehr gut, 1 mal lauwarm und zu bissfest, ist aber subjektiv. Die Damen und der Herr an der Theke waren sehr freundlich und bemüht. Schade, dass die Bar relativ früh schließt. Gesamt betrachtet ist das Hotel scheinbar in der höheren Kategorie angesiedelt, erfüllt diesen Anspruch aber nur bedingt. Leider gibt es auch kein Spa oder ähnliches. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, der Pfälzer Wald lädt zu Wanderungen ein. In der Nähe gibt es die Rietburgbahn, eine Art Sessellift. In Edenkoben selbst unterschiedliche Weingüter.

Kein WLAN im Zimmer. Kommt aber drauf an, welches.

Das Zimmer war gut und schön groß. Das Highlight ist das tolle Restaurant. Top Essen in tollem Ambiente.
