Sehr einladendes Restaurant, ausgezeichnetes Essen und freundliches Personal! Sehr empfehlenswert!!

Leider schon 8tel vorgeschnittene Pizzen, die man dann aber trotzdem nochmals schneiden musste... Pizza selber war ok.

Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, wurden wir prompt bedient. Das Essen war hervorragend und der Service ebenso. Jederzeit wieder.

Toller Italiener, leider zu weit weg von mir

Das Lokal ist gut besucht. Zu recht, das Essen ist sehr gut und obwohl alle Plätze besetzt waren, war der Service top und das Essen kam schnell.

Die Pizza war superlecker und der Service freundlich, aber ich habe ein paar Kritikpunkte. Ich musste zehn Minuten warten, nur um zu bezahlen, und es waren höchstens acht Tische zu bedienen. Die Atmosphäre draußen ist schlechter als drinnen. Vor allem die vorbeifahrenden Autos können ziemlich nervig sein, aber ich verstehe, dass das Restaurant da nicht viel machen kann. Was ich auch etwas überteuert finde, ist das Wasser. 330 ml Leitungswasser für 5 €. Ich würde es ja verstehen, wenn es importiertes Wasser oder eine hochwertige Marke wie Aqua Panna wäre, aber Leitungswasser?! Insgesamt hat es mir aber gefallen, auch wenn Wasser bei 25 °C draußen zu dem Preis etwas teuer ist. Ich würde das Restaurant empfehlen, wenn man eine leckere Pizza für etwa 15 € möchte.

Der Ort ist fantastisch. Das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent. Das Essen war absolut köstlich und die Lage perfekt. Nur 50 Meter von der Straßenbahnhaltestelle entfernt und in der Nähe großer Hotels wie dem Sheraton. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Essen ist gut und von hoher Qualität, aber der Service ist wirklich herausragend! Exzellenter Service vom gesamten Personal, vom Kellner bis zur Kassiererin. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Leckeres Essen und total nette Bedienung.

Sehr schöne Pizzeria mit sehr gutem Essen und Service. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Pizza war super ( Pizza Tono) und der Preis war auch gut 👍. Ein Besuch lohnt sich, wenn man mit mehreren Personen zum Essen gehen möchte ist es ratsam zu reservieren.

Hier gebe ich heute volle Punktzahl, weil es einfach zutrifft! Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, sehr gutes Essen, Vor-/ Haupt-Nachspeise und die Einrichtung, wie Biergarten, Wintergarten und Inneneinrichtung geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sodass man hier sehr gut verweilen kann. Heute Scalopina Gorgonzolasoße mit Spagetti Aioli gegessen, ein Gedicht. Danach Doppelespresso und Doppel Nardini 😇 Wenn das Restaurant bei uns im Viertel Richtung Solln wäre, würden wir jede Woche kommen! Heute wieder richtig gut geschlemmt mit Scalopina Gorgonzolasoße und Spagetti Aijoli und Cotoletta Milanese and Spagetti Carbonara 😍🥰😋😋😋 Wir kommen wieder! Es war heute wieder sehr lecker und alles hat gestimmt. Etwas voll aber wir haben auch ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen, danke dafür! Heute wieder verwöhnen lassen mit leckerem 😋 Essen. Der Biergarten hatte offen und haben draussen Platz genommen. Bedienung wie immer aufmerksam und freundlich. Hat alles gepasst, Teller waren alle leer 😇 Kommen wieder!

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant und super nettes Service. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Wir hatten das gegrilltes Lachsfilet mit gegrilltes Gemüse bestellt und eas war ein Traum, perfekt gebraten und excellent gewürzt. Große Portionen und sehr fair Preise. Wir waren wie im da, sehr sehr zufrieden.

Leider sehr schlechte Erfahrung. Heute war mein Geburtstag und ich habe Risotto mit Meeresfrüchten bestellt. In meinem Risotto habe ich ein großes Plastikstück gefunden, an dem ich mich fast verschluckt hätte. Ich habe es dem Kellner gesagt und gezeigt, er hat mich nicht ernst genommen, gesagt das dies ein Stück von den Garnelen sei. Ich esse jede Woche Meeresfrüchte und es ist nicht normal sowas im Essen zu finden. Da brauche ich mir auch nichts anderes von einem Kellner sagen zu lassen. Statt den Fehler einzugestehen wurde so an meinem Geburtstag mit mir umgegangen. Das Erste und Letze Mal, dass ich da war. Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen, das nächste Mal schicke ich einfach direkt das Gesundheitsamt.

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Hatten Glück an Samstag Abend, dass ohne Reservierung ein Tisch für 4 frei war. Aber würde auf jeden Fall empfehlen zu reservieren. Essen sehr lecker!!! Gute Portionen, nicht zu viel. Preis hat mich auch begeistern, für München recht günstig :) wir hatten alle Pasta und sie war hervorragend!

Dies ist eines der besten italienischen Restaurants in München. Nur wenige Gehminuten vom Westin entfernt. Das Essen ist fantastisch, die Bedienung großartig und das Ambiente im Restaurant sehr angenehm. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Beim Erstbesuch drei Bestellversuche bis jemand kam, im halbleeren Restaurant, Pizza unterdurchschnittlich. Zweite Chance, Zutritt mit Hund verweigert. Kann man dazu stehen wie man will. Für mich kein „echter Italiener“

Direkt neben dem Westin. Essen, Getränke und Personal waren fabelhaft. Für das Personal gibt es einen Extrapunkt! Wir haben während unseres einwöchigen München-Besuchs zweimal dort zu Abend gegessen.

Wir sind öfters dort, wenn wir gut und zu vernünftigen Preisen italienisch essen gehen wollen. Mit der typischen italienischen Herzlichkeit wird man dort empfangen, bedient…und verabschiedet. Wie gesagt, gerne immer wieder.

Wir sind seit den ersten Tagen des Lokals immer wieder gerne Gäste, das ganze Team kann man fast schon als Freunde betrachten. Heute ein besonderes Lob für "Girasole Con Salmone e Orange" Selten habe ich so ein leckeres Nudelgericht gegessen. Danke an das Küchenteam. Ich kann das Lokal nur empfehlen. Macht weiter so, auf die nächsten 23 Jahre!

Wir waren während unseres München Aufenthalts hier essen und ich muss sagen, hier lebt man Italienische Gastfreundschaft. Das Ristaurante ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet, die Keller sowie der Chef selber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an wohl gefühlt. Es ist sowohl für Familien als auch für alle anderen geeignet. Ein wundervoller Ort mit wunderbarem Personal. Die Atmosphäre ist unbeschreiblich. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt, dort zu sein. Ich wohne ziemlich weit von diesem Restaurant entfernt und hoffe, es bald wieder besuchen zu können. Waren gestern da zum essen, hatte Spaghetti mit al aglio olio, an sich lecker, aber leider hat man aufgrund des salzes von den Spaghetti leider nicht die Schärfe rausgeschmeckt und wir mussten uns gefühlt 3 bis 4 mal ,,melden,, wg Getränke

Es war selbst für einen Montag sehr voll! Wir hatten reserviert und gerade noch einen Tisch bekommen. Das Essen war fantastisch und preiswert. Besonders die Tagesgerichte waren sehr zu empfehlen. Die Atmosphäre war wunderbar, wir fühlten uns wie in einer italienischen Trattoria.

We happened to be driving by and spontaneously stopped in. What can I say? We were absolutely thrilled. Perfect service, fantastic food, and I don't think we've ever had food on the table so quickly. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Every time I come to Munich I have to visit this restaurant, because the food is delicious, the staff is super friendly and the prices are reasonable.

We dined at Il Galeone as part of the "Dining Class" program and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. To enter the restaurant, we had to pass one of the manager's two good-natured bulldogs, which added a charming touch to the place. The food was excellent, the atmosphere pleasantly cozy with an Italian flair, and the service very personal and impeccable. We will gladly return.

I was here recently and was generally satisfied. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The selection was good, and you can tell they prioritize quality. I also found the prices fair – not too expensive and appropriate for what you get. The staff was friendly and attentive without being pushy. All in all, a pleasant visit. I'd gladly come again. An Italian restaurant I can happily recommend.

Atmosphere & Space: The restaurant was busy, yet we still got a table without a reservation. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. We sat in the heated outdoor area. The chairs had covers and each one had a blanket. Service: The staff was very friendly and attentive. Food: The menu has everything you could want from an Italian restaurant. From pasta and pizza to meat and fish, it's all there—especially the usual classics. It's also nice that there seems to be a monthly specials menu as well as daily specials. The food was delicious. We each had an appetizer and a main course. Two of us also had dessert. All the dishes were fresh and piping hot. The plates were also beautifully presented and some even included edible decorations. Conclusion: The prices are absolutely reasonable—we'll definitely be back.

During our city trip to Munich, we visited Il Galeone for a quick dinner, and we can report that this restaurant is also perfect for that. With an extensive wine list and delicious dishes, they are well-equipped for guests who want to linger at the table. We only ordered a main course and were still made to feel welcome. The service is very friendly and informal. We were helped quickly, and the food didn't take long to prepare. The pasta we ordered was delicious, as if we were in Italy itself. Definitely recommended, for both a quick bite and a longer visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at "Il Galeone" with our friends. The food is excellent. The portions are a good size and the price is absolutely fair. The service is friendly and attentive. I'd especially like to emphasize that it's easy to have a conversation here because the noise level is pleasant and tolerable. It's one of the few restaurants in Munich these days where your ears don't ring and your head doesn't throb. Even though we live in the south of Munich and the restaurant isn't exactly around the corner, we'll definitely be going there from now on. It's really worth the trip. 👏

I'm giving this place full marks today because it's absolutely spot on! Very friendly and attentive service, excellent food, starter and main dessert, and the decor, including the beer garden, conservatory, and interior, are tastefully decorated, making it a pleasant place to linger. Today we had Scalopina Gorgonzola sauce with spaghetti aioli, which was divine. Followed by a double espresso and a double Nardini 😇 If this restaurant were in our neighborhood near Solln, we'd come every week!

If you're sunbathing by the Eisbach, you should get a pizza calzone here. It's really good. The restaurant itself is a bit of a trip back in time—like a Munich Italian restaurant from the 1970s.

We actually went for truffle ravioli, but they don't always make it, which was a shame. We had classic tomato pasta and pizza. The pizza was standard, but the pasta was truly delicious. The garden is lovely, and the service is fast. The drinks and desserts are delicious. The waiter should come to the backyard more often; we had to get up and order a few times.

I had rump steak and tiramisu. It was the most delicious restaurant I had during my trip to Germany. I also think the prices were reasonable.

The waiter who greeted us as we walked in was hilarious and our actual waitress was lovely, food served prompt and hot. The pizza was delicious. I wish I got their names, but great staff and good food.

The food was really good and well-prepared — definitely a highlight of the experience. The service was nice and attentive, but there’s still a bit of room for improvement. The atmosphere was okay, but it could be a bit cozier and more inviting to really enhance the dining experience.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our visit to the restaurant. We weren't greeted. My husband's meal was forgotten and arrived after the rest of us had already finished, without any apology. We weren't even asked if we had any other requests or if we'd like another drink.

Our favorite Italian restaurant in Munich! No matter what you order, you'll always be pleasantly surprised. And so, you always arrive with great anticipation, eagerly awaiting new culinary experiences. Although the restaurant is located directly on Effnerplatz, it has an outdoor terrace surrounded by many tall plants, where you feel very comfortable. Sitting here on a beautiful summer day truly conveys an Italian lifestyle. "Il Galleone" thus provides Italian moments that go far beyond mere food.

It was good. But not extraordinarily good.

Very mediocre food. We politely asked the waiter to change our glassware because they smelled like eggs, they did change them and it was fine. However someone else came to our table and asked us how it smelled like eggs and brought two other glasses that didn’t. Almost insinuating that we were making it up! Normally I expect an apology when such a thing happens and certainly not questioning the customer especially since we didn’t have any reason to make this up. There was no reason to bring two other glasses, they could simply smell the original ones and anyone with a nose could confirm this. Such an unprofessional attitude for such a casual incident.

The lunch was very tasty, a large pizza 🍕 with mozzarella and fresh vegetables 🍄‍🟫

As always, everything was very good. Sat in the winter garden.

Great traditional Italian eatery with good food, professional servers, and a great ambience. I was on a work trip and stopped in for a quick carbonara and insalata mista. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. It was winter so I was inside but there’s a huge patio seating area as well. I’ll be back!
