Hellas, this is a good place to go. The food was Greek and very tasty and the service was bomb! A very friendly young man who made you feel like he was happy to be our host. Thanks again for that. There is nothing wrong with the food and drink menu. A restaurant that you would like to come back to again.

I ate the salmon today. A dream, especially if you order it with the wish: something darker. Highly recommended!!!!

Very pleasant restaurant with very friendly staff. We felt like we were in good hands, were able to eat comfortably and had a lovely evening there. UPDATE: My husband and I wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary here, luckily we had reserved it was very crowded outside so we went in and had to wait a long time. Until we were noticed for drinks and also for the food, which took a long time because of how busy it was. People at the neighboring table waited 30 minutes for the ice cream. There were only two of us and we had to wait longer than at the tables with more people. The food tasted good but my bifteki was too dry. I would have liked to wash it down with another drink but unfortunately it didn't come. When the waiter finally came and asked us if our drinks weren't there yet, we didn't want to have them anymore and just pay and it's a shame the friendliness and attentiveness of the service that I knew before was lost here. We will go elsewhere in the future.

Very different, depending on the day, it can range from one* to five*. Unfortunately, recently there has been a trend towards 1*. Addendum 12/21: The trend has been upwards again recently. But unfortunately it still depends on the day and the staff. Addendum 07/24: Stabilized at almost 5, we now have a well-coordinated staff and the kitchen performance is consistently good.

We have been coming here for several years and are always amazed at how friendly the employees are, no matter how busy and how much stress there is. Our food was always very tasty and the quality was consistently good. We are good eaters, but we usually can't manage everything, so we often think about whether there's too much starter... if you complain about the portions being too small... it would be nice if there was a little table decoration outside, such as: There would be bright sets or similar - it's very dark under the awning anyway and the plain gray tables look a bit sad.

We were at Irodion again yesterday. When I looked at the menu, I immediately noticed that the prices had almost doubled. The portions are also really manageable! A big man can't get enough of it! Things used to be different! My friend ate liver and now has food poisoning. I informed the restaurant immediately so that they could check the liver in the kitchen so that others didn't get sick. Unfortunately, I was brushed off on the phone with the words that their liver was always going well. We are really very disappointed and will definitely not be coming back! It's a shame, because it was always our favorite Greek restaurant for special days or in the summer for nice hours in the beer garden. I can only advise against this place!

The first and last time the meat wasn't good, it wasn't warm, the food was cold and the waiter said you could have the food warmed up but fry the meat again in the shower. That's not possible. What should I eat raw meat? No comment. The star is just because otherwise the page won't post!

Incredibly friendly staff. The friendly atmosphere is contagious and the card literally makes your mouth water. Price/performance is right! For 20-25 euros you can get away with a main course plus a drink! Greetings to the waiter with a beard We'd love to come back!

It used to be really good and recommended. A lot has changed due to the constantly changing kitchen staff from Albania and Co. But it was a nice time with the chef. 😊⚘ The service is courteous and you should bring a lot of time...and money. After Corona everything is a little more expensive, difficult times. It takes a little longer for the food to arrive and if something doesn't work right away you can let us know and it will be cooked through a little more. But overall nice, I would say.

The staff is friendly, quick, helpful, competent and has their hearts in the right place.

A typical greek restaurant with a large variety of dishes and starters. They serve also a shot of Ouzo before you get your food , and a digestive drink after your meal. Food is great and tastes wonderful. Location is also not in a busy area so during the summer the terrace is a lovely choice.

Dieses Lokal ist mindestens an Feiertagen nicht zu empfehlen. Es ist total überlaufen, und es geht sehr ungeordnet und laut zu. Man wartet trotz Termin, ca 45 Minuten, stehend im Gang, auf den reservierten Tisch. Das Essen wurde anderthalb Stunden später serviert. Aus terminlichen Gründen konnte ich kein Essen mehr bestellen. Wie erwähnt, an diesen Tagen herrscht eine chaotische sprichwörtliche Abfertigung. Und das nicht nur in diesem Jahr, sondern auch in all den Jahren zuvor (Pandemie ausgenommen). Das war in diesem Jahr 2023 auch der letzte Besuch generell.

Ich war heute das erste Mal mit Freunden, die in Köln wohnen, dort und war sehr beeindruckt. Das Essen war super lecker und der Service ist vorzüglich und sehr freundlich.

Nachdem ich gestern schon bei meiner Tochter fürstlich diniert habe, gab es heute Abend im Irodion den krönenden Abschluss beim essen. Ich hatte Filetsteak vom Rind mit Beilagen. Es war alles wunderbar lecker und eine super Qualität. Die Bedienung die anwesenden war, waren alle sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Gerne jederzeit wieder.

Eine Enttäuschung. Leider viel zu kleine Portion. Der Kinderteller war größer als unser Hauptgericht. Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder.

Authentisches Essen. Unaufdringlicher, aufmerksamer Service. Preis und Leistung in einem harmonischen Einklang. Wir waren sehr begeistert. Vielen Dank!

After many visits in the last two years I can conclude that as moderate . All dishes are salty.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut, der Service freundlich und bemüht, wenngleich recht gestresst, Denn das Restaurant war extrem voll (Freitag), man verstand sein eigenes Wort nicht mehr, so laut war es (keine Übertreibung...). Wir waren eine Gruppe, und sich selbst mit den direkten Sitz-Nachbarn zu unterhalten war eine Qual. Die Luft war wegen der vielen Gäste entsprechend stickig. Fenster konnten nicht geöffnet werden, da es angeblich eine Anlage gibt, die das regeln soll... Ich war froh, nach dem - wirklich leckeren - Essen an die frische Luft gehen zu können.

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, nich so "klischee-griechisch", sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service, Essen war superlecker 👍👍👍

DA Essen war sehr gut bis auf eine kleine Ausnahme. Der Service freundlich und aufmerksam und wie immer ist der Aufenthalt dort in einer sehr netten Atmosphäre.

Das beste griechische Restaurant in Köln. Schade, dass es meistens ausgebucht ist.

War zusammen mit meiner Familie zur Mittagszeit an einem Sonntag vor Ort. Große Auswahl an Speisen, letztendlich für Meeresfrüchte-Vorspeise und Meeresfrüchteplatte für 2 entschieden. Besonders die Tintenfische waren sehr zart. Hervorragend vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, konnten kaum die Platte zusammen aufessen. Kann nur wärmstens empfehlen, muss aber mal schauen, wie das Restaurant und ihr Personal bei noch mehr Stress am Abend läuft.

Es war sehr nett und lecker, die Kellner sehr freundlich und auch mal zum scherzen aufgelegt.

In der Umgebung einfach das beste Restaurant. Leckeres authentisches Essen, aufmerksamer Service. Wir haben lediglich auf die Hauptspeise etwas länger warten müssen. Das Steak war super auf den Punkt gegrillt. Die Vorspeise, Garnelen mit Feta waren etwas übergarrt aber die gegrillten Paprika ein Traum. Schön, so eine Location in der Nähe zu haben. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Wir waren schon öfter hier essen. Allerdings wird es von mal zu mal schlechter. Früher waren die Portionen größer und mittlerweile liegen nur noch 10 Pommes auf dem Teller. Heute haben wir 2 Stunden auf das Essen gewartet. Eine Person hatte dazu das Essen nochmal 10 Minuten später bekommen. Sie musste dann fast alleine essen. Das Fleisch war komplett trocken und fast ungenießbar. Nachdem wir uns beschwert haben, ist keiner darauf eingegangen und es wurde sich nichtmal entschuldigt. Sehr schade wir werden definitiv nicht wiederkommen.

Eine miserable Leistung. Note sehr mangelhaft. Kellner niest über den Tisch. Portionen sehr klein. Essen ungewürtzt und eher kühl serviert. Die Einladung zum Schnaps wurde in Rechnung gestellt. Atmo Grossraumbiergarten. Fazit: Extrem kleine Portionen mit schlechtem Service für teures Geld. Braucht kein Mensch.

Das Essen war auch mal besser und vom Service ganz zu schweigen. 1 1/2 Stunden aufs Essen gewartet. Wir saßen draußen und als das Essen dann nach Nachfrage kam (wir haben viel zu tun) war es schon dunkel. Kein Licht an den Aussensitze 🙊. Wir mussten unser handylichter nehmen um überhaupt zu sehen, was wir essen 😂. Der Service für Getränke war wie immer eine Katastrophe. In der Zeit wo wir da waren über 2 Stunden kam der Kellner einmal vorbei 🙈. Man muss sich schon am Anfang drei Getränke bestellen, damit man überhaupt was hat. Schade, da es ein sehr schönes Restaurant ist. Kellner war freundlich.
