Unfortunately, I cannot understand the numerous 5-star reviews. Apparently, many people's sense of taste is already conditioned to a serious degree. Tonight reminded me a bit of visiting a Chinese or Greek restaurant, which you can find in almost every city: the hut is full, everything tastes the same intensity, except that here it is (or should be) Indian. Example: The 3 dips that are served as standard (similar to curry, mint, barbecue) were definitely convenience and artificially flavored. The breading of the starter (fried vegetables) showed that ready-made products were also used here. The main course consisted, among other things, of a very sweet and intense curry sauce, which reminded us of the glutamate-laced versions in Asian restaurants. Only the Indian flatbread was really excellent. Fresh coriander? None. The Indian cuisine with its many spices and great world of flavors - this is more like Indian cuisine as you imagine it in the German provinces... We found the almost 70EUR each for a drink + main course and a shared starter a bit steep. That would be a positive thing friendly staff and the ambience of the outdoor area with a view of the cathedral - very appealing on a warm summer evening!

Great restaurant with a very good menu, reasonable prices and a very nice view of the Naumburg Cathedral. The wine selection is also very appealing. There is also a lunch menu.

Although I don't have a comparison since it was my first visit to an Indian restaurant, the food was exactly to my taste! If you don't want it so spicy, you can express your wish when ordering. However, if you like it, you can always season it with an extra (hot) sauce. The service was always friendly, experienced and organized. The restaurant is authentically furnished and the covered terrace invites you to linger.

Very tasty food, service great. Very family friendly and suitable for children. If desired, a standard menu can even be converted into a children's meal. Simply great! A star deduction for the ambience because the outdoor area is directly on the street. There's nothing you can do about it. But very nicely prepared and also great for rainy weather.

A wonderful ambience with a beautiful view of the cathedral, very tasty food and very nice and humorous service. The four of us had a great evening and said goodbye to India's 78th Independence Day. We'll be back.

After our visit yesterday we were drawn to this restaurant again. The friendly, careful and warm service as well as the very tasty food on the one hand and the view of the cathedral in the evening sun on the other are actually priceless. Thank you very much for the wonderful hours from the Dresden rockers.

We've been here many times, ordered spicy, but it wasn't spicy, so it wasn't edible, we're used to Indian spiciness, but just chili doesn't make for good spiciness, which is a shame.

If you want delicious Indian food, the Taj Mahal is the right place for you, there is a large selection of food. You can choose between different sharpening levels. So no problem if you don't like or can't eat that spicy. Service is great, always friendly. In the summer temperatures it is very nice to sit outside on the large terrace. Price is justified for the food. My recommendation is to call ahead and reserve a spot 🙏

Very nice Indian restaurant with simply excellent service and fantastic food. Every wish was fulfilled by the service. My husband wanted the food to be less spicy, so a small container of seasoning paste came to the table so that he could adjust the spiciness himself. Drinks always full. Food without complaint. Simply delicious.

(mild, medium and Indian) Large selection of drinks. Recommendation, if the weather permits, to sit on the terrace with a wonderful view of the cathedral. Price/performance more than satisfactory. Starters range between €5.00 - €15.00 Main courses between €15.00 and €30.00 We were very excited and will definitely come back. Only recommended.

Eat good. However, the kitchen needs to pay more attention to the level of spiciness ordered. Ordered spicy and it wasn't spicy. The food was still very tasty, as was Lassi and Co. Parking spaces on site would be great...otherwise you'd have to spend a lot of time searching through the residents' parking spaces beforehand.

Beautiful view of the dom. Nice food. I did not recieve a writen or printed reciept of what I consumed so I could not confirm that the amount that I paid was correct. The waiter invited me to leave a tip but I could not even confirm that the amount that I was paying was correct which made me uncomfortable. This could have a negative outcome not only for the clients who could end up paying more unfairly but also for the restaurant who could be charging less dishes than consumed.

Nice restaurant in Naumburg (Saale). The food came promptly and was good. The service was friendly and accommodating. The tables were a bit too narrow in my opinion. The map was large so that everyone could find something. The portions are more than sufficient.

We were there for lunch yesterday, what can I say, I actually don't like Indian too spicy and completely over-spiced, my wife had the 122 and I had the 107, both were very tasty, the sauce for the lentils was very tasty and the tomato sauce for my meal It was a dream, not too spicy and you could taste the spices and the side dishes were also very good. The service was friendly and accommodating and the ambience was good and not too overwhelming. We'd love to come back!!! Until then, keep it up!!!!! Thanks!!!

We really enjoy coming here to eat, and our little one often wants to eat here and drink mango lassi. In summer you can sit on the great terrace and look at the cathedral. It is also nicely decorated inside. The food is delicious. The staff are all very friendly, including their little guests. We like to try out Indian restaurants in other regions of Germany when we're on vacation, but so far you're the best Indian by far.

Very tasty and authentic Indian cuisine. In summer you can eat on the terrace with a direct view of Naumburg Cathedral. You can choose how spicy you want the food to be. (Up to ''Indian spicy'') All in all highly recommended!

The food itself was tasty and sufficient. The price-performance ratio was reasonable and the service was very nice. However, the restaurant was so extremely hazy with incense that people with asthma have difficulty. The fried food and bread were also very oily and I would have liked more Indian spices. The rice with carrots and peas seemed very German to me. Despite everything, we can recommend it.

Super freundliche Bedienung, ohne Reservierung bekamen wir trotzdem noch einen Tisch. Bestellung kam schnell und war lecker, wir kommen wieder.

War mein erster Besuch in einem indischen Restaurant. War sehr positiv überrascht. Essen war sehr lecker und auch das Ambiente war toll.

Ein wirklich hervorragendes Essen, bei dem man schmeckt, dass Frische nicht nur behauptet, sondern gelebt wird! Eine neuwertige Inneneinrichtung, in der man sich wohlfühlen kann! Sehr leckeres Essen, schnelle und freundliche Bedienung. Es war sehr voll und deshalb auch ziemlich laut, aber das leckere Essen war schnell da.

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker und vielfältig, das Ambiente ist sowohl im Innenbereich als auch außen schön gestaltet, vor allem der Blick auf den Dom ist fantastisch. Auch das Personal ist sehr höflich und das Essen wird verhältnismäßig schnell zubereitet, weshalb man selbst bei hoher Auslastung nicht lange auf seine Mahlzeit warten muss.

Sehr guter Service und freundliches Personal. Das Essen ist immer gut und reichlich. Man kann auch wählen zwischen mild, mittelscharf und scharf. Ein Tisch sollte am Wochenende im voraus reserviert werden.

Es ist wirklich sehr nett dort. Das Essen war sehr viel und ausreichen. Die Bedienung ist absolut top! Preislich vollkommen in Ordnung. Karte ist für alle verständlich geschrieben. Es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Man kann super bequem drinnen sitzen ( im Sommer auch draußen ). Wir werden wieder dort essen, Geschmack einfach perfekt. Kinder sind dort willkommen.

Ein Genuß. Super Service, tolles Essen, reuchliche Portionen und immer wieder eine Freude hier zu sein. Und solange es die Temperaturen erlauben, ist die herrliche Terasse mit Blick auf den Dom absolut zu empfehlen. 👍 Sehr gut besucht. Somit empfehle ich immer einen Tisch vorzubestellen.

Das Essen schmeckt gut, ist aber nicht überragend. Man bestellt etwas mit 10 beschriebenen Zutaten und bekommt ein Currybrei, der zwar schmeckt aber man nicht weiß ob es das ist was man bestellt hat. Jeder Tisch bekommt anscheinend dasselbe bloß in 3 verschiedenen Farben. Das Ambiente dagegen ist leider nicht sehr gemütlich. Es war sehr laut und man hatte das Gefühl in einer Werkskantine zu sitzen...sicherlich sind es meine Eindrücke und manch anderer findet es gut.

Große Auswahl an Gerichten, super Service und sehr gutes Essen, freundliches Personal. Das Essen wurde schnell zubereitet und die Preise angemessen.
