It was very good, there were 8 of us, we ate different things and everyone was satisfied

One of the best indian restaurants I had been. All the food delicous and fresh, amazing Tika Masala. Even the Mango Lassi was perfect.

Unfortunately the email was not answered. Ladies and Gentlemen Everything okay and tasty. European spiciness. Unfortunately, the tandoori dish is served in a pan on aluminum foil. Probably to avoid cleaning the pan. For health reasons, this is an absolute no-go. Otherwise everything was fine, very nice, friendly service

The two of us spontaneously ate here on a Thursday evening (we are not from the region). The staff was super nice and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, came quickly and the portions were filling. Overall, highly recommended without any restrictions!

From my many experiences with Indian food, including experiences in the country, I can only say that this is absolutely provincial. I can't recommend it, even the ambiance and friendly staff can't make up for it.

Nice but small atmosphere, with nice staff. I think it's a shame that there wasn't even a portion of pasta with tomato sauce on the children's menu. Not every child feels like eating something that has something to do with Indian food, or a plate of fries. I would never go there with a child because there are only 3 dishes for children. Was very disappointed and just ordered something to drink and then left the restaurant.

Unfortunately the taste was disappointing the second time. We had lamb with spinach, koreander, mint and other spices. The meat seemed to me like the cheapest kind of pressed meat. The sauce just tasted like spinach with cream. You didn't even come close to tasting any of the other spices. I often go out to eat and know many Indian restaurants, but this is by far the worst in terms of taste 🥵.. And that for 21 euros per dish. The service was positive and was very attentive and friendly. When I pointed out the unfortunately bad dish to the boss, she said that she would cook next time... Which didn't help me at all in this situation. Very unfortunate. I would like to be proven wrong.

This is located just nearby the dome. You can see it through the window. There is week lunch menu and then a very wide offer. The food seems adapted to German tastes if I compare to other Indian restaurants all across Europe, but it was very tasty and consistent portion.

My first visit to an Indian restaurant and it was amazing. Despite a failed reservation, we were still allowed to sit down and were served very well. The food was incredibly good and we will definitely be back.

This shouldn't happen again On February 11th, 2025 I reserved a table at 5:00 p.m. for 7:00 p.m., which was confirmed to us. When we arrived on time, no one could remember the reservation. Nevertheless, they tried very friendly and found a solution quite quickly, everything is good up to this point. The ordered dish number 78 lamb with mango alone was a bit disappointing, I had my doubts when eating the meat, it was very tough and didn't taste like lamb at all. However, I didn't complain to the waiter, the mango sauce was tasty. The next day started with stomach cramps, and by midday I also had chills and I lay flat for two days. My trust in the hygiene of the restaurant was lost. Something like this shouldn't happen!

We were able to spend our time here and were thrilled by the friendliness and the courteous service that left nothing to be desired. The food was universally praised and we were very satisfied. Stilvolles Ambiente , schnelle Bedienung und geschmackvolles Essen. Nur bei den Preisen sollte man beachten, dass es sich um Nettopreise handelt und die MWSt.i.H.v. 19% erst bei der Rechnung ausgewiesen wird. Dies war uns leider nicht aufgefallen, anderenfalls hätten wir wohl auf das „Trinkgeld“ verzichtet.

Simply great! Large selection, everything is super tasty (why can I never make such great rice at home?) and you can choose your own spiciness level. The chili sauce is a real stress test for Central German taste buds. We tried it anyway. Cool! 🥵😎 Friendly and super nice staff, happy to explain one or two unknown ingredients to the uninformed. The team puts in a lot of effort. Good beer selection. Uncomplicated online reservations and great parking options nearby. Prices reasonable. Great for Naumburg, keep it up!

The starter with the three different dips were not my cup of tea. The main course was very tasty. What was a shame was the atmosphere, it was very loud and you sat table to table, everything was very cramped, there was no privacy. This made it very uncomfortable and simply not nice

By far the best Indian around! Even larger cities like Halle and Leipzig cannot keep up. Nice atmosphere, best food, nice service. We always enjoy going here. You should only get rid of the Roma who make music.

All you can do is take all the good reviews and add the icing on the cake. We were there for the second time today, the first time in the evening, today on Sunday lunchtime. Both times in a family circle of 8 people. Every single one is thrilled. Delighted with the food, the warm, unobtrusive but present service and the good ambience. I can recommend it to everyone. A la carte you should expect to pay an average of 20-25 euros per person. But that is money well spent. After the first visit, we visited an Indian restaurant in Weimar for comparison and have to say clearly - no comparison! Next we will go there for lunch when we can arrange it and see if the attractively priced lunch prices offer just as good food. I'm pretty sure. A big compliment to the restaurant and the great team from all of us.

The extremely tasty dishes (the soups, the bread with three different dips, the main courses), the variety of the menu, the Indian red wine is a delight, the super friendly, courteous service (welcome, very attentive and friendly service, very warm farewell). ..the beautiful terrace with a direct view of the cathedral. I came from Leipzig a second time to enjoy the food - special recommendation: the tandoori specials - on the terrace in great weather and sunshine...unfortunately this had already been cleared away/winterized...at my kind request Even set up a great place for me to eat outside...a huge thank you again for that!! Since my husband couldn't be there this time, I took a complete menu (No. 50) with me and prepared it in the oven at home... simply delicious. We definitely come regularly now, there is also a wonderful Indian atmosphere inside and a view of the cathedral. A warm, huge thank you to such great hosts and many greetings from Leipzig.

Eat: The food is incredibly tasty, delivered quickly and the portions are so big that you just have to be full. Rice and naan bread are free with every dish and are very tasty. The naan bread in particular tastes so delicious. Service: The staff is extremely friendly, often asks if you need anything else and doesn't get too intrusive. Just the right mix. Ambiance: The interior is authentically Indian and pleasant. The summer terrace offers a perfect view of the cathedral and is not too shady and not too sunny in summer. You can also look at Cathedral Park. Just beautiful.

The food was once again excellent and more than sufficient. If you don't get enough here, just order a drink. Prior reservation is recommended during normal dinner times. The service is good and very fast. Communication is sometimes characterized by repetition, but that is not a problem and ensures good entertainment. The ambience meets the expectations of a typical Indian restaurant. At times it is a bit cuddly and therefore not entirely silent. Normal conversation is still possible without any problems. We definitely enjoyed it again and would be happy to come back.

Highly recommended! The waitress can remember all the numbers (there were six of us). He was very funny and friendly. Mild should be for children, so we ordered medium hot. That was a good recommendation. The view of the cathedral is great from the swr terrace.

Unfortunately, I cannot understand the numerous 5-star reviews. Apparently, many people's sense of taste is already conditioned to a serious degree. Tonight reminded me a bit of visiting a Chinese or Greek restaurant, which you can find in almost every city: the hut is full, everything tastes the same intensity, except that here it is (or should be) Indian. Example: The 3 dips that are served as standard (similar to curry, mint, barbecue) were definitely convenience and artificially flavored. The breading of the starter (fried vegetables) showed that ready-made products were also used here. The main course consisted, among other things, of a very sweet and intense curry sauce, which reminded us of the glutamate-laced versions in Asian restaurants. Only the Indian flatbread was really excellent. Fresh coriander? None. The Indian cuisine with its many spices and great world of flavors - this is more like Indian cuisine as you imagine it in the German provinces... We found the almost 70EUR each for a drink + main course and a shared starter a bit steep. That would be a positive thing friendly staff and the ambience of the outdoor area with a view of the cathedral - very appealing on a warm summer evening!

Although I don't have a comparison since it was my first visit to an Indian restaurant, the food was exactly to my taste! If you don't want it so spicy, you can express your wish when ordering. However, if you like it, you can always season it with an extra (hot) sauce. The service was always friendly, experienced and organized. The restaurant is authentically furnished and the covered terrace invites you to linger.

Very tasty food, service great. Very family friendly and suitable for children. If desired, a standard menu can even be converted into a children's meal. Simply great! A star deduction for the ambience because the outdoor area is directly on the street. There's nothing you can do about it. But very nicely prepared and also great for rainy weather.

After our visit yesterday we were drawn to this restaurant again. The friendly, careful and warm service as well as the very tasty food on the one hand and the view of the cathedral in the evening sun on the other are actually priceless. We've been here many times, ordered spicy, but it wasn't spicy, so it wasn't edible, we're used to Indian spiciness, but just chili doesn't make for good spiciness, which is a shame.

If you want delicious Indian food, the Taj Mahal is the right place for you, there is a large selection of food. You can choose between different sharpening levels. So no problem if you don't like or can't eat that spicy. Service is great, always friendly. In the summer temperatures it is very nice to sit outside on the large terrace. Price is justified for the food. My recommendation is to call ahead and reserve a spot 🙏

Very nice Indian restaurant with simply excellent service and fantastic food. Every wish was fulfilled by the service. My husband wanted the food to be less spicy, so a small container of seasoning paste came to the table so that he could adjust the spiciness himself. Drinks always full. Food without complaint.
