Gutes indisches Restaurant. Wir waren schon ein paar Mal dort und haben auch schon Catering bestellt. Leckerer, authentischer indischer Geschmack. Wir lieben das Gobi Manchurian.

Wir waren am Sonntag zum Mittagsbuffet. Alles war sehr lecker. Wir hatten Pav Bhaji, Dahi Bhalla, Veg Manchrian, Biryani, Malai Tikka usw. Der Star des Abends war aber Gajar ka Halwa.

Das beste indische Essen in Stuttgart

Essen ist fantastisch. Am besten bestellen da das Ambiente ist sehr sehr alt. Der Service ist ok aber das Essen reißt als wieder raus.

Zum „kleinen“ Buffet am Mittag sehr zu empfehlen. Super Butter Chicken und das beste Nan seit langem gegessen.

Ich glaube, dieses Restaurant ist bei Indern sehr beliebt. Ich empfehle, zu reservieren. Ich war sonntags zum Mittagsbuffet dort, und es war so beliebt, dass es im Nu voll war! Mir wurde klar, dass ich bis dahin indisches Essen gegessen hatte, das an den deutschen Geschmack angepasst war. Für alle, die scharfes Essen lieben, ist dies ein fantastisches Restaurant. Wenn Sie, wie ich, eher mildes Curry bevorzugen, empfehle ich Ihnen, zunächst eine kleine Portion zu probieren. Wenn Sie es vertragen, können Sie immer noch nachbestellen.

Ich bin das erste Mal indisch essen, das Essen war so lecker. Wenn ich könnte würde ich 10 Sterne vergeben. Die Bedienung war sehr nett. Wer ein Feinschmecker ist und indisches essen probiert, sollte unbedingt hier essen kommen. Es wird sich lohnen! 10/10

Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Essen und Service sind einfach fantastisch. Das saftige und zarte Tandoori-Hähnchen hat mich absolut begeistert; das beste, das ich je in Deutschland gegessen habe. Der Preis für das Buffet ist für die gebotene Qualität absolut angemessen. Pani Puri ist ein Muss, das Manchurian war gut und Chole Bhature war unglaublich aromatisch. Da es sich um ein kleines Restaurant handelt, ist eine Reservierung im Voraus dringend zu empfehlen. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Die Preise sind sehr budgetfreundlich, besonders im Vergleich zur Qualität und den Portionen. Jedes Gericht war lecker und hat wirklich an echtes indisches Essen erinnert. Sehr zu empfehlen für alle, die echte indische Küche lieben. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir bestellten Paneer Tikka und Chili Chicken als Vorspeise. Dazu gab es Naan, Roti, Chicken Tikka Masala, Malai Kofta und zum Schluss Gulab Jamun. Alles war sehr lecker.

Ambiente einfach, funktionell. Aber sehr gutes authentisches Essen. Preise vergleichsweise günstig. Beliebt auch bei indischen Gästen. So fühlt man sich ein wenig wie in Indien.

Ein toller Ort für ein Sonntagnachmittagsbuffet

Wir waren zu zweit zum Sonntagsessen dort. Es empfiehlt sich, vorher zu reservieren. Obwohl meinem Mann zunächst gesagt wurde, dass alle Plätze für den Tag ausgebucht seien, bekamen wir nach einem Anruf innerhalb von fünf Minuten noch einen Tisch für denselben Tag. Das Buffet bot eine begrenzte Auswahl an Speisen und kostete 20 Euro pro Person. Wasser und andere Getränke kosteten jeweils etwa 3,30 Euro. Das Essen war gut für Vegetarier und Hühnchenliebhaber. Es gab vermutlich auch ein Halal-Buffet für Muslime. Ich fragte nach, und mir wurde bestätigt, dass das Essen halal ist. Mir persönlich haben das Hühnchencurry mit Naan und die Hühnchen-Lollipops sehr gut geschmeckt. Ich habe leider vergessen, Fotos von den Fuchkas (Paani Puri) zu machen. Eine gute Option für alle, die keine Lust haben, Fuchkas selbst zuzubereiten.

Ich hatte ein einfaches Essen erwartet, aber stattdessen wurde ich mit Gemütlichkeit, Gastfreundschaft und Aromen empfangen, die sich wirklich wie Zuhause anfühlten. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants umfing mich eine ruhige, einladende und positive Atmosphäre 😌✨. Die Mitarbeiter begrüßten mich mit einem herzlichen Lächeln, das einem sofort das Gefühl gab, genau am richtigen Ort zu sein. Und das Essen… wow. Einfach wow 🤤🔥. Das Thali war vollgepackt mit so vielen kleinen Gerichten, jedes mit seinem eigenen Charakter und seiner eigenen Tiefe. Man konnte die Liebe in jedem Löffel schmecken. Die Gewürze waren nicht nur präsent, sie entfalteten ihr volles Aroma. So etwas gelingt nur, wenn jemand seine Arbeit wirklich liebt 🍛💛. Jeder Bissen ließ mich einen Moment innehalten, so köstlich waren die Aromen. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit des Teams. Nicht aufdringlich, nicht distanziert, einfach natürlich, aufmerksam und herzlich 😊. Sie erkundigten sich im richtigen Moment nach meinem Wohlbefinden, und man merkte, dass es ihnen wirklich wichtig war, ob ich mein Essen genoss. Ich ging satt, entspannt und rundum glücklich nach Hause 🙏✨. Das indische Thali Stuttgart bot mir mehr als nur gutes Essen; es schenkte mir einen Moment der Ruhe mitten im hektischen Alltag. Das ist selten und verdient Anerkennung.

Gute Qualität und eine anständige Auswahl am Buffet. Ich persönlich liebe das Mittagsbuffet. Es ist ein kleines Lokal, aber mit Vorreservierung ist alles gut organisiert. Samosa Chat, Papri Chat und das Buffet gehören zu meinen Favoriten.

Es ist jedesmal und immer wieder ein wohlgefühl im restaurant zu essen und die netten Leute, welche sich um das Wohl der Gäste fürsorglich kümmern.

Nur eines der wenigen indischen Restaurants in Europa, die mir wirklich gefallen haben. Es wird ein ehrlicher Versuch unternommen, den Geschmack so nah wie möglich an die Heimat zu bringen.

Ich war mit meinen Freunden hier, um Diwali zu feiern, und es war mein erstes indisches Essen in Deutschland. Das Essen war wirklich gut. In der vegetarischen Variante mochte ich Paneer und Gobi am liebsten, und in der nicht-vegetarischen Variante waren das Chili Chicken und der Chicken Lollipop super. Zum Nachtisch gab es Gulab Jamun mit Eis – eine perfekte Kombination. Für etwa 20 € gab es ein abwechslungsreiches Thali, das authentisch schmeckte. Sonntags war es super voll, daher empfiehlt es sich, im Voraus zu reservieren. Insgesamt ein schönes Lokal und einen Besuch wert, wenn ihr Lust auf richtiges indisches Essen in Stuttgart habt.

Sehr gutes indisches Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Liegt etwas unscheinbar im Untergeschoss vom Löwen-Markt. Bisher das einzige indische Restaurant in Stuttgart, das ich kenne, das auch Thalis anbietet. Alleine dafür 5 Sterne.

Ich war am 6. Oktober 2025 dort. Es kursierte eine Anzeige für ein interessantes Buffetmenü. Es hat sich absolut gelohnt. Das Essen war sehr lecker.

Ich bestelle häufig bei Indian Thali über Lieferando. Bisher hat es immer einwandfrei funktioniert. Das Essen ist super. Lecker und gesund, weil es auch viele Gerichte mit Gemüse und ballaststoffreichen Lebensmitteln(Linsen, Kichererbsen) gibt. Es gibt auch vegetarische und vegane Optionen. Auch die Preise sind für die Portionen fair. Gerne wieder!

A hidden restaurant with a Sunday buffet of Indian delicacies. Friendly staff and delicious food. The restaurant is quite small and cramped, and therefore quite noisy. The taste is very delicious. Good value for money. Be sure to make a reservation. We'll be happy to come back.

I ordered the food here and realised the cook was a M.Sc (Master of Spices) 😂😂 Really tasty, spicy and authentic Indian delight. A must visit/order food in Stuttgart. Trust me if your tongue is in coma, Indian Thali will bring it back to life. 😂😂 Quality & Quantity is top notch.

It has a bit of a German brewery feel when you're in the area, but it's not bad. The staff are very friendly and the food is great, beating all the Indian restaurants in Stuttgart. Unassuming but top-notch. I love coming and ordering there.

This was the place I was most excited to visit ever since we booked, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I had seen so many videos on Instagram about their buffet, and the food was just as amazing as expected. The restaurant is small and a bit congested, so a reservation is a must (they allow 2 hours per booking). We had ours at 11:30, and by 1 pm we were politely asked to settle the bill, which is fair given how busy it gets. The buffet selection was excellent. I loved that they included pani puri—it was fresh and delicious. Starters like chole bhature, manchurian, and tandoori chicken were spot on. For mains, they had chicken curry, paneer matar, dal, naan, rice, pulao, and chicken biryani. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared, with chicken rara being the only dish I enjoyed less compared to the others. Desserts included gulab jamun (so good!) and ice cream. Mango lassi was just okay, but at €19.90 for the buffet, the variety and taste were more than worth it. The staff deserves a special mention—very active, attentive, and constantly refilling dishes while keeping the place neat. Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely one of the best Indian buffets in Stuttgart. Highly recommend!

Great food options, Kid menu’s available and friendly staff!

Panipuri was good. But chhole bature, tandoori naan was so roasted that i couldn’t even eat. Dal makhani, panner tikka masala and other curries were blant. I would never go there and wouldn’t recommend also.

The food was really delicious, albeit a bit too spicy for my taste. The ambiance is a bit reminiscent of an old pub, but has been enhanced with decorative elements. The service was really great. The selection of dishes was also great; we will definitely be back.

The most authentic Indian food I have enjoyed in the last 7 years. We enjoyed the veg thali, Amritsar’s thali. The food was delicious and the quantity was just right.! It was worth the money. Highly recommended Indian restaurant in Stuttgart.

Tried the buffet here for lunch. It includes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, with one starter, one curry, rice or chicken biryani, chole bhature, pani puri, and two desserts. The taste was okay, but at €20 per person, it felt a bit pricey for the overall experience. While the variety is decent, the value for money could be better. Still, a good option if you're craving an Indian buffet.

The Samosa Chat was incredibly tasty, hot and fresh—just perfect for a chilly evening. We also ordered Paneer Butter Masala, which was rich and flavorful, and the Aloo Paratha was simply amazing—one of the best I’ve had! It took us a little time to find the place but the food quality and taste were excellent and worth it.

I'm a regular customer to Indian Thali. One of the best places to be in and around Stuttgart for Indian food. Different Indian food we try. Today we felt like having tea and ordered masala chai with milk. One of the best chais I had outside India, I can never go wrong when it comes to a taste test of tea being a heavy Indian tea addict. Usually I prefer the Indian tea with added ginger which we Indians call as Adrak chai. So I explicitly asked for Indian masala chai with extra ginger flavor and voila, best service, you get served what you ask for. Believe me, we ordered 2 and the perfect tea being served made me order another one. Going by food, hands down our favourite Indian restaurant in the Stuttgart region! The food tastes authentic and delicious, and does not have any artificial flavours or excessive fat. You can tell that they use legit Indian spices. The ambiance inside is of a cozy, traditional German restaurant with wooden interiors and seats. The entryway can be a bit underwhelming given its location in the lower ground floor of the Löwen-Markt. The owner and staff are super warm and the service is always great!

This review was long overdue. Indian Thali has always been our go-to Restaurant for Indian food in Stuttgart. Always feels like home away from home when we dine at this place. After having lived for over 10 years in Stuttgart and having tried almost all Indian restaurants, we can confidently say that no other Indian Restaurant even comes close to the authentic taste and quality of Indian Thali. What we love is the quality of the ingredients used. No cheap oils/ substitutes are used by them. And one can really tell the difference. And service with a smile seems to be their motto. The owners and staff are always cheerul no matter how busy or crowded the restaurant is. This just adds to the lovely experience. We just returned from a fabulous buffet which we try to visit atleast once a month. Next time will post pictures of the food and ambiance as well

The best Indian restaurant in Stuttgart! We have been going here or ordering food from them quite regularly. All the dishes, vegetarian and non vegetarian are equally good and you feel that they are made with high quality ingredients. I highly recommend their buffet on Sundays. The cherry on the cake is their attentive and friendly staff. This restaurant is for sure a must try for authentic indian food 😊

I can’t give zero stars so I am giving 1 star. The waitress did a great job. Although it was not a great deal, I didn’t understood the point of reserving a table if we have to share one with others. Food is worse and I am talking only about their Sunday buffet. Too much Color in the food. Shahi Tukda is a disaster, I would rate 0.1/10. Never visiting the restaurant again.

Tomamos un Uber ya que está a unos 9 km fuera del centro de la ciudad, pero la comida era maravillosa y auténtica. Bonito ambiente familiar dirigido por una familia de Luthiana, Punjab. El chole bhature era increíble y el lassi era genial.

We were here for their Sunday buffet lunch and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. For 18.50 euros per person, it's a steal deal compared to the wonderful spread of food they have. We had pani puri and pav bhaji to start with, followed by chicken tikka, biryani and curry. There were also some excellent veg options like chhole, veg manchurian and rasmalai for dessert. Everything tasted great, it was unlimited all you can eat and service was prompt and friendly. Will greatly recommend this place if you want to have a tasty indian meal.
