Das Essen war hervorragend. Wir hatten ein nettes Gespräch mit einem sehr freundlichen Kellner. Es war angenehm ruhig. Wir kamen am frühen Samstagabend an und bekamen sofort einen Tisch. Weder der Service noch das Essen waren tadellos.

Mai 2026, Sonntag Abend Gab nichts zu beanstanden. Der Kellner begrüßte mich auf Englisch, sprach aber auch deutsch. Ohne Reservierung gab es einen Platz für zwei Personen. Das Essen war lecker, wurde zügig geliefert die Preise waren vernünftig. Obwohl nur zwei Tische besetzt waren, nahm der Kellner unseren Blickkontakt zum Bezahlen nicht wirklich wahr.

Hervorragendes indisches Essen, grosse Auswahl. Die meisten Gerichte sind zudem glutenfrei.

Essen gut. Preis-Leistung bin ich mir unsicher.

Ich habe kürzlich das Namaste India in Stuttgart besucht und Chole Bhature, Veg Biryani und Veg Fried Manchurian probiert. Alle Gerichte waren köstlich und schmackhaft, obwohl es noch etwas Verbesserungspotenzial gibt. Im Vergleich zu manch anderen Restaurants war der Service hier deutlich besser – die Mitarbeiter waren aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die Qualität des Essens war gut und das Ambiente sehr angenehm, was den Restaurantbesuch insgesamt sehr angenehm machte. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der in Stuttgart gute indische Küche sucht.

All you can eat, allerdings aus einer sehr kleinen Auswahl. Alles ein wenig trübselig, das Essen so lala, eher ein wenig zerkocht, die Beduenung verschlossen. Kein Wunder, dass bei dem trostlosen Anblick es kaum Gäste gibt. Das geht doch besser!

Die beste Massage, die ich seit Jahren hatte

Seit Jahren unser Stammkokal, wenn wir in die Liederhalle gehen.

Ich bestellte Chole Bhature, aber die Kichererbsen waren so sauer, dass ich sie nicht ganz essen konnte. Die Bhature (Pooris) waren sehr dick, fast wie Brötchen. Auch der Mango-Shake war viel zu süß. Alles war zwar schön angerichtet, aber der Geschmack entsprach nicht dem Preis.

Außergewöhnlich leckeres Essen, tolle Speisekarte, sehr raffinierter Geschmack bei jedem Gericht, wunderschöne Auswahl an Soßen und Saucen – einfach alles hervorragend! 🙏 Bravo! Wir haben 96 € für zwei Personen ohne Alkohol für sechs Gänge bezahlt. Das Personal war außerdem sehr effizient und zuvorkommend. 💖

Sehr ansprechendes, indisches Restaurant mit sehr gutem Essen. Wir hatten "Mutton Curry" (100)", "Butter Chicken" (119), "Chicken Salat" (43) und "Mutton Shahi Korma" (106). Alle Gerichte haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt, wobei wir uns einig waren, dass Mutton Shahi Korma" (106) mit Abstand das beste Gericht war. Das Mango-Lassi war ebenfalls sehr gut. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Schade war, dass es im Restaurant an diesem Abend insgesamt etwas kühl war. Aber sonst alles in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr gutes indisches Essen! Alles frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich top! Es hat meinem Partner und mir hervorragend geschmeckt. Sehr freundliches Personal, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Das Einzige, was in dem Restaurant fehlt, ist ein Abzug, da es je nach servierter Speise sehr dämpfig wird.

Absolut furchtbar. 3,90 € für ein Glas Wasser zu verlangen, ist einfach nur unverschämt und gierig. Der Service war faul, unfreundlich und offensichtlich völlig desinteressiert an den Gästen. Das Essen war gerade noch akzeptabel, und das sogenannte Mango-Lassi war ein Witz – keine Mango, kein Geschmack, nur Zuckerwasser mit künstlichem Aroma. Überteuert, schlechte Qualität und null Mühe. Spart euch das Geld und geht lieber woanders hin.

Das Essen, das mein Freund und ich bestellt hatten, hat super geschmeckt! Wir waren total begeistert und die Bedienung war sehr nett. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall öfter hierher!

Leider hat das Auberginegericht nicht nach Aubergine geschmeckt.

Wir haben dieses Restaurant gerade besucht und es war sehr angenehm. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service freundlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das war wohl das lächerlichste und betrügerischste Dessert-Erlebnis, das ich je in Europa hatte! Ich bestellte die sogenannten Gulab Jamun (Nr. 171) für 6,90 € und bekam zwei winzige „Milchbällchen“, kleiner als ein Tischtennisball – eines davon war komplett verbrannt, steinhart und mit einer Gabel unmöglich zu durchstechen. Als ich den Kellner darauf aufmerksam machte, zeigte er weder Entschuldigung noch Besorgnis – nur ein kaltes, gleichgültiges Gesicht. Was mich aber wirklich wütend machte, war das, was an der Kasse passierte: Zuerst wollte er mir das Dessert nicht berechnen, aber als er merkte, dass ich nicht besonders reagierte, setzte er es absichtlich auf die Rechnung. Erst als ich meinen Unmut deutlich zeigte, nahm er es wieder heraus. Der ganze Vorgang war völlig intransparent und lag im Ermessen des Kellners – höchst verdächtig und extrem respektlos gegenüber dem Kunden. Diese Vorgehensweise, „die Reaktion des Kunden zu testen, bevor man über die Abrechnung entscheidet“, ist absolut unehrlich und empörend. Ein verbranntes Dessert, eine nachlässige Einstellung und dubiose Abrechnungsmethoden – einfach nur widerlich. Das ist kein Restaurantservice, das ist Betrug. Wenn Ihnen Ihr Geld und Ihre Zeit wichtig sind, meiden Sie dieses Lokal. Hier gibt es weder Qualitätsstandards noch Respekt vor den Kunden.

Für mich ideal. Ich bin ein Fan der indischen Küche. Da passt es ideal, dass ich ein Lokal in der Nähe von meinem Lieblingskino habe. So kann ich beides zeitnah besuchen. Ich probiere auch gerne die zahlreichen vegetarische Gerichte

Wir waren spontan heute hier und sehr positiv überrascht. Das Essen war hervorragend, sehr aromatisch und frisch. Die Okras sind definitiv eine Empfehlung!

Leider können wir dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen. Die Wartezeit auf unser Essen betrug über eine Stunde – völlig inakzeptabel. Da wir einen Folgetermin hatten, über den das Restaurant informiert war, mussten wir das Essen schließlich notgedrungen to go mitnehmen. Sehr enttäuschend, zumal wir uns auf einen entspannten Restaurantbesuch gefreut hatten.

Die Hauptgerichte waren durchschnittlich und verbesserungswürdig. Das Gajar Halwa hingegen war eine herbe Enttäuschung und ehrlich gesagt das schlechteste, das ich je gegessen habe. Es hat mir das ganze Erlebnis verdorben.

Food taste and quantity is below average! I have ordered chicken tikka masala and they served some other chicken curry with coconut paste, upon feedback they simple denied & were assertive that it was chicken tikka (all though the chicken pieces were clearly visible that it was not grilled in tandoor) and moreover even after seeing coconut in the curry they were denying and were not flexible to replace the order! I went to restaurant on Thursday and still it took 1 hour to get my food ! Service is more German centric , Indians are quite neglected that’s why I observed !

We visited Namaste in August and left almost hungry for the first time at an Indian restaurant. The curry was very tasty, but the portions were too small. The service was poor, with hardly any German or English spoken. The value for money at this restaurant is completely out of place.

Three of us went there for dinner. We received very friendly and courteous service. The menu left nothing to be desired. We ate very well! Definitely a recommendation!

The food is good and authentic. I travel to India often and know my way around. The best dosa, the best coconut chutney, and the best sambal. But all the vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are also comparable to the quality of Indian dishes. The service is very friendly, and the ambiance is interesting, very soothing, and stylish. It reminds me of restaurants in Paris—something different than a few Indian paintings and fabrics hanging on the wall.

I haven't seen anything so rude in a long time. Yes, my mistake. I accidentally called the wrong restaurant and ordered food here, and only realized when I got to the restaurant to pick it up that it was the wrong thing. I then called here to apologize and say that I'm not currently in Stuttgart and unfortunately called the wrong restaurant, and that I'm sorry I can't pick it up, and the reaction?! SO RUDE AND RUDE. I mean, I couldn't have even gotten in touch, but I was spoken to so aggressively on the phone, saying that I had to pick it up no matter where I was, and that that wasn't possible, and that it wasn't their problem. I was really sorry, too, but what am I supposed to do if I'm in Frankfurt right now??? Not being able to show understanding and being abusive is simply unacceptable. If they had stayed nice, I would have gone there when I came back to Stuttgart, but like that, I wouldn't set foot in that place!! I know it was my fault and I called as soon as I noticed, which was unfortunately too late. I can't change the situation. To stubbornly tell me on the phone that it's not my problem, I have to come and pick it up now, and that it's impossible, is just so, so, so rude! Definitely not customer-friendly and I wouldn't recommend it!

This restaurant used to be really good – friendly service and delicious, authentic food. But what's been going on here since the alleged change of ownership is simply disappointing and an absolute disgrace. The quality of the food has plummeted. From 100 to 0 – there's no other way to describe it. If you fancy Indian food with ready-made sauces from the supermarket (hello REWE), you can prepare it at home much more cheaply and better. The prices charged here for this carelessly prepared food are simply outrageous. But the worst experience was the so-called "service": When paying, the waiter suddenly pretended to be deaf and allegedly didn't speak a word of German – a lousy scam he used to swindle his way to over €10 in "tips." He simply took the money and disappeared without change or receipt. After waiting for over 15 minutes, he disappeared. Not a word, not an apology – just gone.

The food was good and delicious and they were quite fast to serve (it wasn't crowded though). And the interior was nice and cozy. But the service could have been better. The first waiter, who took my order, didn't seem to understand me either in English (I'm fluent) or German (not so fluent, but can speak a bit) when I asked if the dish is strong or not. And later, when I called the waiter to ask for the dessert menu, he came directly with the bill. He never asked me if I were interested in dessert. Unfortunately this made me leave there with not such a good feeling, even if I was really happy with the meal itself.

As a Indian I rate this restaurant very low cannot imagine the turmeric overpowering the Dal and Naan being undercooked felt like chewing raw dough. Pakoras were super oily and cold Chicken gravy 😢 so bad that the chicken pieces were burnt

Very good food, not exactly cheap.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant as a group. Ambiance is really good. Service does its best but with only 2 people as service staff you have actually already lost. This was clearly noticeable. The first drinks came quickly, you had to order the second round directly at the counter. The meal took an unbeatable 1.5 hours, that wasn't possible. Afterwards we had an event in the Liederhalle and were almost late due to the long waiting time. The food was average, nothing outstanding. Not recommended for me personally.

Best Indian ever. My husband and myself absolutely love this place. The staff are always so kind and helpful. The food is beyond amazing. We’ve gone with groups before and the food was always great with a large number of people with numerous different plates. I highly recommend this place wife your next meal!!

Unfortunately, the good food cannot disguise the poor service. If the waiter can't tell a hefeweizen from a mushroom, and also our reference to it, 'yes, that's number 152', is dismissed, the fact that you could only communicate in English was the smallest problem.

The taste has gone bad and service is too late

Worst place ever! I waited one hour to get the food, guy brought the food and didn‘t even bother to excuse himself morever he didnt bother that there is no fork and knife on my table. I had to call again any even no excuse. When payed no excuse nothing not even offered me a bottle of water which they charge at 6,50 EUR that costs in supermarket 0,70 EUR. Food was also nothing special. JUST AVOID THIS PLACE !!!

Food tasted very good! They even have dosas :) One point deducted because we had to wait about 55 minutes for the food. Service was equally overwhelmed that day (or rather the kitchen?). When asked, they always said “5 more minutes…” There’s room for improvement here!

The quality of the buffet is terrible, in addition to everything being cold, without enough fire underneath to maintain the temperature. The buffet consisted of only 3 sauces, rice, a dry tempura, and some kind of lentil bread. No desserts, just those 6 things filled the buffet that was not a meter long. The service from the waiters was good. The attached photo, which is the one that appears on Google, does not correspond to what you find when you eat there.

A good, if not really exceptional, Indian restaurant right on Berliner Platz. The ambience has been really nice since the renovation last year, you feel comfortable. The service is ok, but you can get through much better with English than with German. The prices have risen significantly since the renovation and are at a really high level, which in my opinion the kitchen cannot withstand. All in all a good Indian, but in terms of price-performance I don't really find it recommendable.

The Place is really good with great food quality and quantity. Also it has a good menu of buffet for lunch.

We arrived before a concert and had 75 minutes. Ambiance: Simple, modern and open guest area with a large bar. Service: The waiters preferred the English language. We waited about 3 minutes until we were asked to sit at the entrance. (The open concept made this feel forever). It took a good 10 minutes until we got the card and it had different contents. One card had an additional sheet with South Indian dishes, the other did not. You could still order these. Another 10 minutes passed before the order was taken. Some guests received their food before us even though they sat down after us. The levels of spiciness weren't really shown on our maps, but they were certainly adapted to European standards. Eat: We eat Indian food so rarely that we lack comparisons. 1x main course with chicken 1x rice crepe or pancake with various chudneys 1x Nan bread The main course was delicious. The crepes weren't crispy as expected, but ok with the chudneys. The naan bread is freshly baked and highly recommended. Conclusion: In total our stay lasted 65 minutes. We didn't find it to be as fast as others described it. Food good, service sufficient. Ambience and atmosphere ok.

The mutton haandi that I had was, without hyperbole, one of the nicest things I have ever eaten. Garlic naan was also immaculate. Incredible food. Can’t emphasise that enough.

The food was delicious and tasted quite authentic - especially their naan is great. The service was also fast and friendly, but what I liked most about the place is that the ambience is not cliché/stereotypical Indian, but modern and easy going. It seems like the place had a makeover recently (the pictures on google are outdated). We will definitely be coming back!

According to price the food was not good . You should improve your quality and quantity of food. We ordered dosa, but the size of the dosa was not worth the money we paid for it. It was small and served cold after a long wait. I understand there may be rush hours, but it's important to be prepared for such situations. I've witnessed more crowded Indian restaurants that manage to maintain better food quality. This experience has left me feeling quite disappointed.

Every other Indian restaurant gives you additional portions of rice for free when the first bowl is gone, but not here. There were two of us here and we ordered a Matar Paneer and a Palak Panner, which tasted very good. But we only got a small bowl of rice, which was only enough for one person.

Were deducted, A take-away menu + 0.3l glass bottle of drink is advertised outside for €11.90. When paying, the drink was refused, you have to pay +3€ for it. Not the best way to advertise your restaurant.

Service--> Good Atmosphere--> Good Food---> Not at all tasty I ordered Kadai Paneer and Garlic Naan. Paneer was sour. I complained about paneer which was replaced but again it was sour. I have never had such pathetic Kadai paneer (something wrong with the quality of paneer). Even the quality of Garlic naan was not good. Sorry to say but I did not like the taste, at least whatever I ordered.

Empty plates for almost an hour! We had lots of expectation when we selected this place for our dinner in Stuttgart. However, we did not know that we had to order food for lunch to get it on the table for dinner. I suggest to bring your pack of cards with you when you come here for dinner. After such a long wait I was really expecting a tasty treat. Our order was simple: Dal Makhani, Chicken Handi and Chicken kabab. No Indian restaurant would insult such a simple food but that’s what happened. I wouldn't even rate the food mediocre. There must be many Indian restaurants in Stuttgart who would serve you better and better food. Please research well and choose. Regards
