Very good food, not exactly cheap.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant as a group. Ambiance is really good. Service does its best but with only 2 people as service staff you have actually already lost. This was clearly noticeable. The first drinks came quickly, you had to order the second round directly at the counter. The meal took an unbeatable 1.5 hours, that wasn't possible. Afterwards we had an event in the Liederhalle and were almost late due to the long waiting time. The food was average, nothing outstanding. Not recommended for me personally.

Best Indian ever. My husband and myself absolutely love this place. The staff are always so kind and helpful. The food is beyond amazing. We’ve gone with groups before and the food was always great with a large number of people with numerous different plates. I highly recommend this place wife your next meal!!

Unfortunately, the good food cannot disguise the poor service. If the waiter can't tell a hefeweizen from a mushroom, and also our reference to it, 'yes, that's number 152', is dismissed, the fact that you could only communicate in English was the smallest problem.

Worst place ever! I waited one hour to get the food, guy brought the food and didn‘t even bother to excuse himself morever he didnt bother that there is no fork and knife on my table. I had to call again any even no excuse. When payed no excuse nothing not even offered me a bottle of water which they charge at 6,50 EUR that costs in supermarket 0,70 EUR. Food was also nothing special. JUST AVOID THIS PLACE !!!

The taste has gone bad and service is too late

Food tasted very good! They even have dosas :) One point deducted because we had to wait about 55 minutes for the food. Service was equally overwhelmed that day (or rather the kitchen?). When asked, they always said “5 more minutes…” There’s room for improvement here!

The quality of the buffet is terrible, in addition to everything being cold, without enough fire underneath to maintain the temperature. The buffet consisted of only 3 sauces, rice, a dry tempura, and some kind of lentil bread. No desserts, just those 6 things filled the buffet that was not a meter long. The service from the waiters was good. The attached photo, which is the one that appears on Google, does not correspond to what you find when you eat there.

A good, if not really exceptional, Indian restaurant right on Berliner Platz. The ambience has been really nice since the renovation last year, you feel comfortable. The service is ok, but you can get through much better with English than with German. The prices have risen significantly since the renovation and are at a really high level, which in my opinion the kitchen cannot withstand. All in all a good Indian, but in terms of price-performance I don't really find it recommendable.

Unfortunately, an absolute disappointment – ​​never again! We were looking forward to an Indian meal, but unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was a complete disappointment. The food was cold and tasteless - no trace of authentic Indian cuisine. We politely pointed this out to the boss, but instead of addressing the issue, he was unwilling to accommodate us in any way. On the contrary - the reaction was unfriendly and almost cheeky. This was by far the worst Indian restaurant we have ever visited. Absolute waste of time and money. Not recommended!

Great place to eat, always tasty and pleasant atmosphere. The waitresses don't speak English very well. But it's not a big problem for me, I think it's authentic

Unfortunately the photos of the buffet no longer correspond to reality... no soup, no dessert, only 2 veggies. Variations, food bland and lacking in taste… a little more effort would be appropriate. Attentive, somewhat insecure waiter, but at least that's authentic 😌

The Place is really good with great food quality and quantity. Also it has a good menu of buffet for lunch.

We arrived before a concert and had 75 minutes. Ambiance: Simple, modern and open guest area with a large bar. Service: The waiters preferred the English language. We waited about 3 minutes until we were asked to sit at the entrance. (The open concept made this feel forever). It took a good 10 minutes until we got the card and it had different contents. One card had an additional sheet with South Indian dishes, the other did not. You could still order these. Another 10 minutes passed before the order was taken. Some guests received their food before us even though they sat down after us. The levels of spiciness weren't really shown on our maps, but they were certainly adapted to European standards. Eat: We eat Indian food so rarely that we lack comparisons. 1x main course with chicken 1x rice crepe or pancake with various chudneys 1x Nan bread The main course was delicious. The crepes weren't crispy as expected, but ok with the chudneys. The naan bread is freshly baked and highly recommended. Conclusion: In total our stay lasted 65 minutes. We didn't find it to be as fast as others described it. Food good, service sufficient. Ambience and atmosphere ok.

The mutton haandi that I had was, without hyperbole, one of the nicest things I have ever eaten. Garlic naan was also immaculate. Incredible food. Can’t emphasise that enough.

The quantity of the food was not justifiable for the price they charge. Also there was no extraordinary taste.

The food was delicious and tasted quite authentic - especially their naan is great. The service was also fast and friendly, but what I liked most about the place is that the ambience is not cliché/stereotypical Indian, but modern and easy going. It seems like the place had a makeover recently (the pictures on google are outdated). We will definitely be coming back!

According to price the food was not good . You should improve your quality and quantity of food. We ordered dosa, but the size of the dosa was not worth the money we paid for it. It was small and served cold after a long wait. I understand there may be rush hours, but it's important to be prepared for such situations. I've witnessed more crowded Indian restaurants that manage to maintain better food quality. This experience has left me feeling quite disappointed.

Ambiance inside really neat and stylishly decorated. Food (spicy lamb from the grill - see picture - and mild chicken curry with a feminine spiciness) was great. The service was very accommodating and always asked if everything was OK. Gladly again !

It was our first time eating there. Sat outside, ok, it's right on the street, but ok. Service very nice, menu very good. Starters also very good. Tandoor as the main course, portion very large, taste good. Vegetarian main course unfortunately small, but very good. Definitely want to eat there again and try more

Every other Indian restaurant gives you additional portions of rice for free when the first bowl is gone, but not here. There were two of us here and we ordered a Matar Paneer and a Palak Panner, which tasted very good. But we only got a small bowl of rice, which was only enough for one person.

Were deducted, A take-away menu + 0.3l glass bottle of drink is advertised outside for €11.90. When paying, the drink was refused, you have to pay +3€ for it. Not the best way to advertise your restaurant.

Service--> Good Atmosphere--> Good Food---> Not at all tasty I ordered Kadai Paneer and Garlic Naan. Paneer was sour. I complained about paneer which was replaced but again it was sour. I have never had such pathetic Kadai paneer (something wrong with the quality of paneer). Even the quality of Garlic naan was not good. Sorry to say but I did not like the taste, at least whatever I ordered.

Empty plates for almost an hour! We had lots of expectation when we selected this place for our dinner in Stuttgart. However, we did not know that we had to order food for lunch to get it on the table for dinner. I suggest to bring your pack of cards with you when you come here for dinner. After such a long wait I was really expecting a tasty treat. Our order was simple: Dal Makhani, Chicken Handi and Chicken kabab. No Indian restaurant would insult such a simple food but that’s what happened. I wouldn't even rate the food mediocre. There must be many Indian restaurants in Stuttgart who would serve you better and better food. Please research well and choose. Regards

"Closed due to renovation work" was written on the signs stuck to the window panes... because of that. The restaurant was closed by the veterinary office from November 20, 2023 to November 23, 2023. You can read about it on the Stuttgart food inspection website. Never again.

Disappointing Experience: Unprofessional Staff and Discrimination My family and I visited Namaste India restaurant at Stuttgart. After a long, tiring journey, hoping to unwind and enjoy a meal together. However, our experience was far from pleasant. Despite booking in advance, we were not allowed to sit inside the restaurant, which was unexpected and inconvenient after our exhausting journey. To make matters worse, we encountered unprofessionalism and blatant racism from the staff. They preferred serving -You know who- over us(Indians), and we felt discriminated against throughout our time there. Such behavior is unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation of any establishment. While I cannot comment on the food itself, as we were unable to dine inside, I would strongly advise against patronizing this restaurant. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, and until they address these issues and improve their service standards, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Jai Hind Jai Bharat 🇮🇳

Very nice staff, delicious Indian food!

Even though we didn't make a reservation, we got a spot on a Saturday evening without waiting. The food was brought super quickly and tasted delicious. Unfortunately, the conversation with the two gentlemen from the service was a bit tiring, as both of them only spoke a little German and spoke English. The interior takes some getting used to: rustic tables and plush yellow and green chairs and sofas.

Even without a reservation we got a seat and were served nicely🙏🏻. The menu leaves nothing to be desired! Very tasty dishes and really pleasant in terms of spiciness. The only drawback: unfortunately we had to wait over 40 minutes for the food. Otherwise everything was great🙌🏻

We were in Stuttgart because we were going to a concert , and wanted to eat a good dish beforehand. As this place was basically just around the corner , we quickly came to the conclusion to eat there. Atmosphere was very nice, and the service was great to. Everyone was very polite and friendly. We both had the butter chicken, the special samosas and drinks. The food was really great, probably one of the best butter chickens we ever had. Also I am rather sensible when it comes to spicy food, but it was just perfect. Prices where also absolutely in the norm of things. We recommend, and should we be back in Stuttgart, we probably will be visiting again.

Top food, top service, gladly again! After renovation, the interior is now very attractive. A visit can be easily combined with a movie night in one of the surrounding cinemas.

Tried few Indian restaurants in Germany and this one is very good and you get authentic Indian cuisine. Spicy Chicken Biriyani and Kebab was so good . Love to visit again

Waren an einem Samstag dort. Der Service war stark überfordert und unterbesetzt. Allein bis wir die Karte bekommen haben, hat es knapp 20 Minuten gedauert. Getränke Nachbestellungen waren schwierig, da man ohne wild mit den Händen zu winken und ohne dem Kellner hinterher zu rufen, keinerlei Aufmerksamkeit bekommen hat. Zugute halten muss man dem Service allerdings, dass er trotz Stress freundlich geblieben ist. Das Essen war soweit geschmacklich gut, allerdings ist es nicht wirklich heiß gewesen und ist sehr schnell kalt geworden, da es nicht die beim Inder typischen Stövchen gab. Da sich alles so extrem lang hingezogen hat, mussten wir uns leider mit dem Essen stark beeilen, um unseren Zug zu erwischen. Trotz des schnellen Verzehrs der Speisen waren diese leider gegen Ende kalt. Die Einrichtung des Restaurants ist modern und könnte für meinen Geschmack etwas gemütlicher sein. Alles in allem hat das Restaurant aber einen gepflegten Eindruck gemacht. Würde das Restaurant aufgrund meiner Erfahrung nicht erneut besuchen.

Wir waren nach längerer Zeit wieder in Namaste. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich. Das Ambiente hat sich positiv geändert. Kann mann gut empfehlen.

the place was extremely warm, numerous patrons were fanning themselves but the food was amazing and the service was great (albeit a tad slow to begin with!) but that could be because of our language barrier

Obwohl wir keine Reservierung hatten wurden wir an einem Samstag Abend freundlich in den Empfang genommen. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist sehr modern gestaltet, was ich schön finde, jedoch bevorzuge ich persönlich eine indische Einrichtung ‚for the experience‘. Zum Essen haben wir Chicken tikka masala und chicken korma bestellt. Das Essen war gut, mein Essen hätte heißer serviert werden können und beide Gerichte waren leider nicht so geschmacksvoll wie wir’s eigentlich kennen. Das war ein bisschen enttäuschend. Zur Vorspeise hatten wir samosas. Das hatte ich davor noch nie, es war in Ordnung. Zum Hauptgang hatten wir noch Knoblauch und butter naan, die wir geschmacklich sehr gut fanden.
