Konsistenz sehr leckeres Essen!

Gestern besuchte ich dieses Restaurant und hatte ein wirklich tolles Erlebnis. Die Atmosphäre war fantastisch, und jeder Winkel des Lokals verströmte ein warmes und authentisches sri-lankisches Flair. Die Dekoration, die Atmosphäre und das gesamte Ambiente machten den Besuch zu einem ganz besonderen und angenehmen Erlebnis. Das Essen war köstlich und absolut authentisch. Es gab eine große Auswahl an sri-lankischen Gerichten, und alles, was wir probierten, war geschmackvoll und hervorragend zubereitet. Es war schön, so viele traditionelle Gerichte auf der Speisekarte zu sehen. Der Service war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Angestellten waren nett, aufmerksam und sorgten dafür, dass wir uns während unseres gesamten Besuchs wohlfühlten. Insgesamt war es ein wunderbares Erlebnis, und ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der die sri-lankische Küche und Kultur liebt.

Als Sri Lankerin, die in Deutschland lebt, fühlte sich dieses Restaurant wie ein Stück Heimat an. Das Essen war absolut köstlich, authentisch und voller echtem sri-lankischem Geschmack. Jedes Gericht erinnerte mich an selbstgekochtes Essen aus Sri Lanka. Geschmack, Gewürze und Atmosphäre waren einfach fantastisch. Ehrlich gesagt ist dies das beste sri-lankische Restaurant, das ich bisher in Deutschland gefunden habe. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die authentisches sri-lankisches Essen und ein herzliches, einladendes Erlebnis suchen!

Ich habe manchmal richtig Lust auf Curry und würde wahnsinnig gerne in diesem Restaurant essen, wenn ich in der Nähe wohnen würde. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam!

Das Essen war einfach hervorragend – authentische sri-lankische (singhalesische) Küche mit originalen Gewürzen, geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Für uns gehört dieses Restaurant definitiv zu den besten in Stuttgart. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch den ausgesprochen freundlichen und herzlichen Service. Sowohl das Personal als auch der Geschäftsführer waren sehr aufmerksam und äusserst kinderfreundlich, was unseren Besuch besonders angenehm gemacht hat. Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis – absolut empfehlenswert! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Herzliche Grüsse aus der Schweiz.

Sehr lecker und Abwechslungsreich. Man kann für jedes Gericht die schärfe selbst wählen (mild war perfekt für mich mit mittlerer Schärfetoleranz). auch freundliche Bedienung, welche auch gerne Dingen erklärt. die Platten für zwei Personen sind sehr zu empfehlen da man mehrere verschiedene Gerichte bekommt,welche sich gut ergänzen. Auf Nachfrage wurde als Vorspeise die Frühlingrollen empfohlen welche dort selbst gemacht werden und sehr zu empfehlen sind.

Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend und sehr lecker. Unterschätzen Sie aber nicht die Schärfe auf der Skala von 1 bis 7. Ich habe 3 genommen, und das war genau richtig. Einmal habe ich 4 genommen, das war viel zu scharf, ich musste weinen, hatte Nasentropfen und hatte das Bedürfnis nach einem guten Lassie.

Seit mehreren Jahren unser Favorit. Das Personal unglaublich nett das Essen unglaublich lecker. Am liebsten nehmen wir immer die Rundreise. Mit angepasster schärfe je nach dem wie man es mag. Ich empfehle jeden einmal hier her zu kommen.

Sehr gutes Restaurant. Man wird gut beraten, vor allem wegen der Schärfe. Diese ist nicht zu unterschätzen. Das Brot / Fladbrot ist wirklich grandios. Eine echte Bereicherung für Stuttgart und sehr unique.

Wirklich sehr gute und (soweit ich es beurteilen kann) authentische srilankische Küche. Alles schmeckt lecker, frisch und wird ansprechend serviert. Die Currys sind einfach fantastisch – echter sri-lankischer Geschmack, reichhaltig und würzig. Ein ganz besonderer Dank gilt Küchenchef Leonard, der uns immer wieder mit unvergesslichen Gerichten verwöhnt und jeden Besuch zu etwas Besonderem macht. Wir genießen jeden Moment hier, vom Essen bis zur herzlichen Gastfreundschaft. Wir besuchen La Bamboo schon seit vielen Jahren und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Das Personal war super freundlich. Die Auswahl für Vegetarier war riesig. Wir nahmen ein Menü für 2 Personen mit 4 verschiedenen Gerichten. Konnten da das Hühnchengericht durch ein veg. Linsengericht ersetzen. Es schmeckte alles wirklich aussergewöhnlich gut. Die Bedienung war seh aufmerksam und hilfsbereit.

Ich habe Dosa zur Lieferung nach Hause bestellt, aber es war Pfannkuchen ohne Chutney.

Das Bamboo hat gutes Essen, wenn man mal etwas Neues ausprobieren möchte. Die Portionen sind groß. Wir hatten ein vegetarisches Menü. Hier muss man sagen war das Gericht weniger ausgeklügelt. Es war okay aber für den Preis hätte es etwas besser sein können. Zu den Fleischgerichten können wir nichts sagen. Man sitzt ganz nett drinnen, allerdings auch kein herausragendes Ambiente. Das Essen war gut, wiederkommen würden wir vermutlich nicht

Haben über Lieferando bestellt! Das Essen war wirklich lecker, da gab es nichts zu bemängeln. Was die Portion betrifft, insbesondere das Hauptgericht, bin ich enttäuscht und ich bin wahrlich kein Vielesser. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hinsichtlich ein wenig Hauptgericht für ca. 15 Euro mit viel Reis passt im Vergleich zu anderen indischen oder srilankesischen Restaurants aus meiner Sicht nicht. Auf meinem Foto habe ich das Hauptgericht schon fast komplett gegessen. Also ist lecker...aber gerne mehr!

Ich komme jedes Mal gerne wieder in mMn. eines der besten Restaurants Stuttgarts. Sowohl für Vegetarier & Veganer als auch Omnivore gibt es hier viel zu bieten. Das Restaurant bietet eine Schärfeskala - Ich esse gerne scharf, und europäisch Mittelscharf (ca 4/7) ist perfekt für mich. Die Kellner sind sehr aufmerksam und höflich und das Essen schmeckt bombastisch. Dazu preislich angemessen. Nichts zu bemängeln, wir kommen jedes Mal wieder gern.

Ich hatte gerade das Chicken Kottu und es war einfach fantastisch! Mit Abstand das beste, das ich je gegessen habe. Die Aromen waren perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt, das Hähnchenfleisch zart und die Portion großzügig. Es hat sich wirklich wie ein authentischer Genuss aus Sri Lanka angefühlt. Wenn Sie in Stuttgart sind und auf der Suche nach fantastischem sri-lankischem Essen sind, dann sind Sie hier genau richtig. Very, very tasty food and an incredibly cool concept. There are several spice levels, the first four being "European" spice levels, and the last two allowing you to experience the food as it is traditionally enjoyed in Sri Lanka. But be careful! It's very spicy. I eat spicy food almost every day and ordered the highest European spice level... I have to honestly admit: it was a bit too much for me. The staff is also friendly, and I was even warned that the food as I ordered it could be very spicy. Overall, I think this concept is very good because you can enjoy the food even if you can't stand spice, because you can choose the spice level yourself. The food is also very, very tasty!

Not Good IMHO **2 stars. So, my wife and I are trying all the Indian restaurants in Stuttgart. It’s our favourite food. “You’re ordering 4 curries?!” says the server, after we order. Yup, weird! Unfortunately, it seems like a premonition now. The menu offers 7 levels of “spicyness”. 1 for no spice/Gar nicht scharf. 7 for hottest/Sehr scharf. So, I order two dishes at level 6 and my wife orders two dishes at level 4 medium/mittelscharf. My food was almost inedible due to extreme chilli flavour (and I like spicy!) and even the medium dishes my wife had were way too spicy! We both had an upset tummy that night. So, beware when ordering! Additionally, I would say the quality of the food was very average with the chicken being diced into to little dense/hard cubes. There was some issue about using a credit card, initially asking us to pay by cash?? The manager seemed nice, but the servers were weird and unfriendly. Sadly, we cannot recommend this restaurant experience.

I went there with colleagues and was completely satisfied! The food is well-seasoned (available in seven spice levels from "not spicy" to "Sri Lankan hot"; a few dishes with "Devil" in the name are probably house-hot). I went for the European-style spicy option, although I can tolerate a bit. The food is placed on a hotplate, and you can let others try it. Friendly service; it didn't take too long. Later, and especially on weekends, it's advisable to make a reservation. A bus stop is nearby, and the Schwab-/Bebelstraße subway station is a few minutes away.

We visited La Bamboo yesterday for the second time and will be back (as expected). The food is authentic and beyond delicious. The service is excellent. Questions are answered, special requests are fulfilled, and the two waitresses were simply perfect hosts. Since it was 32°C yesterday, we sat outside. And even though you might think it would be uncomfortable, since the tables are on Schwabstrasse, you have privacy and it's simply a wonderful experience. Thanks to the team at La Bamboo!

The food is always delicious. Tip 1: "European medium-spicy" is always plenty! The prices are fair. And the people there are very friendly. Tip 2: Come early, because when it's busy (around 6:30/7 p.m.), they can get a bit busy.

My goodness, the food was absolutely amazing 🥰. Even a friend's greedy daughter thought it was absolutely delicious, and all her special requests were catered for. The food was even made very mild for her daughter, which is really rare, and it still tasted incredibly good. We are absolutely thrilled. A definite insider tip 😍

We absolutely loved the food at this authentic Sri Lankan restaurant in Stuttgart, offering a true taste of Sri Lankan cuisine. We tried the Beef Kottu Roti and King Prawn Curry with a European spice level, and honestly, it was perfectly balanced. The spice level was just right, and we enjoyed it immensely. We also had the Chicken Samosa as an Appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and the ambiance was really pleasant. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

starter was delicious. but the quantity of Rindfleisch is too less to find. we took sri-lankisch mittelscharf for both the biriyanis. both were below average for three of us. being a person who can cook biriyanis… I felt their biriyani masalas was not cooked properly. we could feel the powdery taste. Basically this is definitely not the best or exceptional biriyani in Stuttgart. tiger prawn dish was good according to it‘s name. but the parathas were burnt and felt more like papadum. We also took mango lassi and cola. Cola comes in glasses and mango lassi was average.

I had La Bamboo as a caterer for my birthday. Food was very tasty. On-time delivery to the venue and pleasant coordination. Price-performance top. I would do it again!

We went to La Bamboo for the first time a few days ago. Both the service, the advice and the food were excellent. The restaurant was very well attended on a Thursday evening, which more than speaks for itself for a restaurant with a 23-year history in Stuttgart. Absolutely recommended!! We'd love to come back.

People-people! To be honest, I have no idea where the numerous 5 star reviews come from?! The service is relatively friendly and nice. But I come for the food and not primarily for the ancient creaky chairs or the service. Sorry, tasteless food! In my case the food tasted completely like ketchup. The whole thing is pretty bland food, even with fresh tomatoes, but probably Dutch produce, just bland. There were almost no spices - but there was a lot of salt. The red lentils we ordered were yellow instead of red, cooked almost to death and wonderfully oversalted. CONCLUSION: I don't want to spoil anyone's joy, but it was the last time we were there.

Here you can find very, very tasty Sri Lankan food in a variety of levels of spiciness. You will also be advised when choosing the level of spiciness, because not every meal tastes too spicy. My companion also found her vegetarian dish very tasty as it was perfectly seasoned. Overall a top restaurant. I really enjoy coming here and can only recommend it to anyone who likes Asian cuisine.

Food authentic and spiciness scale available and quite realistic. Service was very friendly, but not always there. Furnishings are more like a scooter furnishings market. Prices ok for the west of Stuttgart. Not a highlight for me personally, as rice, noodles and meat with hot sauce in various presentations are relatively easy to put on your plate at home. You can go there if you like that and don't want to cook quickly yourself.

Haben uns spontan für einen Besuch und uns dann für den Geheimtipp vom Chefkoch für zwei Personen entschieden (Beed Devil, Chicken-Cury, Dhal Curry, Gemüse-Curry mit Basmatireis mit Papadam). Wegen der gewünschten Schärfe wurden wird vom Service toll beraten. Alle Gerichte waren sehr lecker.

Nice little restaurant in Stuttgart. It's a rather unassuming place from the outside with a few tables on the sidewalk - but the food is great. You should just say very clearly whether you want spicy or European seasoning.😅. For me it was exactly right.

They don't play around with their spicy levels here! If you like spicy South Asian food, then this is the place for you! I had the tiger prawn curry, which I liked, but I think it is a good idea to get food to share because the quantity is abundant, and just keep in mind that their food IS spicy (even the European level had a kick to it and Sri Lankan medium spicy is when it gets 🔥😭). Customer service was excellent! They all spoke English, were friendly, and checked in on us often and even cracked a few jokes here and there. If you do take away leftover food, then they will charge you pfand for the takeout box, which you can get back if you return the takeaway container with the ticket they give to you. (I was charged 1€). Only cash and EC card are accepted here. They have plenty of seating available both indoors and outdoors, so reservations are not necessarily required. Overall, would visit again and recommend to others.

It was a very pleasant surprise. At first, I couldn't believe that this was a top-rated Indian-ish place in Stuttgart, but it turned out to be indeed very good. Chicken curry was very tender, not very spicy, and not as oily as a more typical Indian place. Will definitely be coming back.
