Ich habe über uber eats bestellt und es war der schlechteste Service, den ich je von einem indischen Restaurant erhalten habe. Zunächst einmal war das Essen kalt und bei weitem nicht so lecker, wie indisches Essen sein sollte. Zweitens wurden weder Strohhalme noch Besteck mitgeliefert – es wirkte fast so, als sollten wir wie in Indien ohne Besteck essen. Außerdem entsprach die Lieferzeit überhaupt nicht den Angaben auf der App und danach am Telefon: Aus versprochenen verspäteten 5 Minuten wurden 30 Minuten. Insgesamt kam das Essen fast 1,45h nach der Bestellung. Als der Lieferfahrer schließlich ankam, behauptete er, im Foyer gewartet zu haben – tatsächlich saß er aber einfach nur seit längerem in seinem Auto. Schreckliche Erfahrung! Nie wieder!

Das Taj Mahal in Stuttgart-Heslach ist eine sehr gute Adresse für alle, die authentische indische Küche schätzen. Die Gerichte sind frisch zubereitet, aromatisch gewürzt und bieten eine große Auswahl – von klassischen Currys bis zu vegetarischen Spezialitäten. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, sodass man sich direkt willkommen fühlt. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Besuch mit leckerem Essen und guter Atmosphäre.

Früher habe ich oft Essen bestellt, das mir immer gut geschmeckt hat, aber jetzt finde ich es nicht mehr so ​​gut. Es schmeckt nur noch mittelmäßig, das Curry hat keine besondere Würze und ich fühle mich nach dem Essen nicht mehr wohl – es ist einfach nur noch sättigend. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir bestellten Dal Tadka und Butter Naam, die wie selbstgekocht schmeckten.

Tolles indisches Lokal! Der Kellner war sehr nett, müssten nicht lange auf das Essen warten, die Speisen waren preiswert und auch sehr lecker! Waren um 21 Uhr erst dort und die Küche war noch immer offen! Sehr empfehlenswert :)

Bestes indisches Essen in Stuttgart. Haben mehrere ausprobiert und sind hier hängen geblieben. Sehr viel vegetarische Auswahl. Paneer Butter Masala ist unser Favorit und das Vegetable Pakora mit den 3 Soßen ist ein Traum 🤩

Ich habe meine Bewertung aufgrund der schlechten Qualität des Essens reduziert. Mein Mann kam nach Hause und aß sein Chicken Vindaloo, das er als „so versalzen, dass es fast ungenießbar war“ beschrieb. Ich bestellte um 15:45 Uhr mit einer voraussichtlichen Lieferzeit zwischen 16:25 und 16:35 Uhr. Das Essen kam erst um 17:45 Uhr an, nachdem ich bereits angefangen hatte, für meine hungrigen Kinder ein separates Essen zuzubereiten. Die Tüte war total verschmutzt und hatte überall Fettflecken auf Stuhl und Tisch hinterlassen. Man bot mir als Entschädigung für die über einstündige Verspätung ein kostenloses Mangogetränk an, das jedoch im Lieferbehälter verschüttet war, weshalb ich es ablehnte. Insgesamt ist das Essen den ganzen Ärger und den hohen Preis für solch einen miserablen Service nicht wert.

Wenn am Briefkasten keine Werbung steht, sollte man das auch beachten und nicht 2 mal dieselbe Broschüre hereinwerfen.

Vor einem Jahr waren wir im Taj Mahal essen. Das Gericht knusprige Ente mit Butter Tomaten Soße war gut. Es hat allerdings fast 1 Stunde gedauert, bis serviert wurde. Der Reis war auf einem extra Teller , das Fleisch mit der Soße wurde in einem kleinen Töpfchen serviert. Und es war heiß. - Gestern waren wir wieder dort essen und bestellten dasselbe Gericht wie vor einem Jahr. Es kam sehr schnell, Fleisch, Reis und Soße lieblos zusammen auf einem Teller. Die Ente war nicht knusprig sondern gekocht und lauwarm. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und werden nicht mehr kommen. Das Personal war überlastet, da es mit den Lieferdiensten beschäftigt war.

Sehr gutes und authentisches Essen. Gut zubereitet und ansprechend serviert. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wenn Sie in Stuttgart sind, sollten Sie dieses Restaurant unbedingt besuchen.

Fast zwei Stunden auf die Lieferung gewartet. Telefonisch war niemand erreichbar. Am Ende musste ich selbst zum Laden fahren. Vor Ort wurde versucht, die Schuld auf Uber bzw. Bolt zu schieben, obwohl eigene Lieferfahrzeuge vorhanden sind. Sehr unprofessionell und enttäuschend. Leider keine Empfehlung.

Wenn Sie authentisch indisches Essen genießen möchten, dann kommen Sie in dieses Restaurant und respektieren Sie das Personal.

Das Essen war gut, im Vergleich zu Spanien etwas teuer, was aber zu erwarten war. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Unsere Karte wurde nicht belastet (obwohl es beim Nachbartisch so aussah) und wir erhielten keine Papierrechnung zum Prüfen. Der Service, insbesondere im Umgang mit den Babys, war ausgezeichnet; wir haben uns während des gesamten Essens sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das ist das beste indische Restaurant in der Stuttgarter Umgebung. Wir waren schon ein paar Mal hier und wurden nie enttäuscht. Dieses Mal hatten wir Gemüsesamosas, Mulaghatani, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Aloo Ghoobi und Knoblauch-Naan. Alles war perfekt zubereitet!

Sehr leckeres Essen. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig und beinhaltet auch viele vegetarische und vegane Gerichte. Das Essen wurde auf gusseisernen Schälchen brutzelnd serviert. Das Naan war frisch und gut, die Saucen wurden in extra Schälchen gereicht. Für durchschnittlich ca. 15€ bekommt man gutes indisches Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre.

Wir haben heute das erste und definitiv letzte Mal bestellt. Abgesehen davon, dass das Essen 25 Minuten später als angekündigt kam, war die bestellte knusprige Ente mit Cashewkernen lediglich gekocht und völlig labbrig, von knusprig keine Spur, nicht ein Cashewkern., Dafür Blumenkohl und Karotten. Auch das andere bestellte Essen war eine komplette Enttäuschung. Sehr schade, wir hatten uns auf die guten Bewertungen verlassen und uns auf gutes indisches Essen gefreut

I can't explain the 4.8 stars. The food is mediocre delivery food. The service is absolutely terrible. The waiter had zero communication. You have to pack up the leftover food yourself; it's served in an aluminum tray. They don't bring you the bill, they just tell you the price. We never felt welcome. Don't be fooled by the good reviews. It seems like they deliberately delete bad reviews.

I ordered food at 3:15 p.m. for 6:30 p.m. At 6:40 p.m., I received a message from Wolt saying my delivery was delayed and that I should contact the restaurant. When I called, I received a reply saying my food would be delivered in about 4-7 minutes. I had to wait another 30 minutes. When I called again, the answering machine rang. Great service. I don't blame the driver. But if I order my food at a specific time three hours in advance, I don't expect a delay of almost 45 minutes. They had plenty of time. I won't order from them again.

We had two paneer dishes: butter masala and pepper/onion/tomato curry. They also had garlic naan and a paratha. The food was excellent, as was the bread. I also had a mango lassi, which was practically a third dish in terms of quantity ;D ...

I have been there some times and i have to say that food is not so great as some People say it is. Its just mediocre and the staff who bring it to the table and take orders, they don't even look like employees. Maybe more like mafia thugs or drug dealer because of how they dress. I have friends who ordered with Lieferando from this place and they report portions being tampered with and stuff missing from în quantity. Also i think their kitchen employees are paied în black and without a fair contract like i hurd most indian restaurants do this practice în Germany. Who ever worked inside the indian restaurant industry knows they enslaved their employees to their benefit. Just ignorant customers who think food is amazing they don't know or want to know this. În conclusion i do not recommend this place especialy of how strânge and dirty their staff looks and food is average.

I have been ordering food from Taj Mahal whenever I travel to stuttgart. My last order was however poorly managed — first order arrived lay by 45mins beyond 1 hour time that restaurant relayed on Uber eats. Second, they sent same dish twice instead of 2 different ones that I ordered. Third, they kept cutting the call after picking it up multiple times— leaving me with no clarity on whether somebody is going to address the misses. And finally, the food was bad — chicken was mixed with old and stale pieces with fresh ones and it tasted really bad. I will never order here again nor I will recommend someone to do so.

I ordered takeout from here for the first time today, and I have to say I was more than pleasantly surprised! Super delicious, very authentic North Indian cuisine! The spiciness was perfect, the food was well-seasoned overall, and the ambiance put a smile on my face... I'll definitely be back and look forward to more delicious dishes!

It was my first time ever eating Indian food, and this was also the first time I ate at this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised, and as a foodie, I highly recommend it.

Food was ok. Naan was terrible - not crispy but very oily and looked like microwaved. The way the food was served i didnt like. I prefer souce to be in a separate bowl not right next to the rice. Rice was also not very tasty. I dont recommend. Also they say we could only pay via paypal or cash….

Very spicy food. Tandoori dishes come without sauce, and the chicken was consistently very dry. The naan bread was really delicious.

Wir waren zum Mittag da und möchte folgendes teilen. Negativ: - Toilette nicht sauber, da könnte man viel verbessern. - Reis war zu hart, man könnte bei der Bestellaufnahme fragen, ob der Reis indischer Art (weich) oder euer europäischer Art (härter) sein soll. - Naan war gar nicht knusprig, etwas länger backen wäre besser. Positiv: - die Bedienung war gut, vorkommen - Curry war sehr lecker Insgesamt ok, ich sehe da viel Potential zur Verbesserung.

We were here as a couple on a weekday evening Absolutely delicious samosa and the lamb curries are also recommended. The mango lassis are gigantic and delicious. Overall we were more than full :) The waiter didn't have much to do other than us, so we got their full attention. Super hospitable!! Gladly again :)

I ordered via ubereats. The delivery went great - due to my pregnancy I was given instructions to please bring the food to the door upstairs (5th floor). That worked great! The food arrived hot and ultra tasty and then the delicious fresh naan bread. Simply delicious - thank you very much!

Super delicious Indian food! I particularly like that the plates are brought out individually and you can share the main courses on the table - so everyone can help themselves as they please. The salmon curry was fantastic, the samosa crust was an absolute dream and the Indian bread was also very tasty. Overall, the food is really recommendable, with generous portions and an absolutely fair price-performance ratio. The staff are friendly and attentive, the atmosphere in the upper area is cozy and authentic. An important point of criticism: the toilet. Unfortunately unkempt and a place that you want to avoid - therefore a star deduction. But then how do I say, I come here to eat and not to shit.

We were here in a big group and had reserved a table in advance and got prompt seating on arrival. The place is quite small so would definitely recommend a reservation in advance. Their menu is pretty extensive. The starters are especially good, we got a few chicken starters, samosa chat and bhel for the table and liked all of I quite a lot. The main course is also quite good, we had various types of dal, paneer, chicken and lamb and the food was very tasty and authentic. The service was a bit slow and our food took a long time to arrive. They seem to be swamped with a lot of online pickup and delivery orders and the continuous flow of delivery guys for pickup also kind of kills the vibe of the place. The staff are friendly and flexible. Nice Indian food place quite centrally located in Stuttgart.

The food was mediocre. However, there were some unrelated people constantly coming in and out of the store, chatting in the kitchen loudly. When I left, I accidentally forgot my umbrella, but I returned within three minutes. By then, the staff had already taken my umbrella into the kitchen and were playing with it, just because my umbrella has a small flashlight attached. When I politely asked for my umbrella the first time, not only did they refuse to give it back, but they also kept shining the flashlight in my face, even though I had already tipped them more than 5 euro. I’ve never met such rude behavior before. If you want the umbrella, just say it, I can even give it to you. But please, don’t touch other people’s belongings without permission, or even wanting to claim it as your own. okay? Because I don't wanna be a resist！

I ordered food through Lieferando, it was never delivered and the blame for the misery was just passed back and forth. I'm a fan of Indian cuisine but I'll give this shop a wide berth in the future. In summary Me + no food + no money = disappointed

I hope that the worm was simply in there, but you can't give more stars to this restaurant visit. Went here for dinner with a larger group (reserved). 6:30 p.m. in the restaurant. You can't say the restaurant was full. There was a four-person table next to us (the food was already on the table when we arrived) and another four-person table who had ordered before us in the restaurant. By the time we had the menu it was 7:00 p.m. and by the time the first drinks arrived it was 7:30 p.m. Starter came at 8:30 p.m. and drinks were still missing by then. The main course was served at 9:40 p.m. and took over 20 minutes because things were always missing. During the whole time, it felt like every quarter of an hour a new driver from Lieferando and walk-in customers came to pick up food. Sorry, but when you run a restaurant you should consider whether the guests in the restaurant come first or the delivery business. Is a strategic consideration from the owner. At least from the guests in the restaurant (in this case us) I have to say that we were very disappointed. No reason to reserve here!

I am sorry bitvi didn't expect Gulab Jamun to be delivered like drybsweet balls. I always loved Taj mahal for the authentic taste butvthey messed uo pretty big time about desert. As an Indian i aleaat expect some sugar syrup withbthe desert bit i was dumb dumfounded when it came like dry balls.I am disappointed with the restaurant right now!!!!

I recently ordered food from this restaurant for a party, but part of my order was incorrect. I had ordered garlic naan, but instead received regular naan, which was soggy and rubbery. When I called the restaurant to address the issue, they refused to help, claiming the food was fine when it left their kitchen. They even suggested that I retrieve the naan from the garbage and bring it back to the restaurant. The person on the phone was rude, stating they didn't care about customers and suggesting that if I didn’t like the food, I shouldn’t order again. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, especially my fellow Germans. The customer service was awful.

I ordered food from this restaurant for a party and partially I received a different order. I had ordered garlic naan but I received normal naan which was like a rubber and soggy. I called the restaurant and they told that we cannot help because from their end it was good and if I recieved wrong order then I should remove the naan I threw in garbage and get it to the restaurant. The person on call also said that he doesn't care about customers and if I did not like the food then I should not order it in future. I would not suggest anyone or any German to visit this place or order food from here. The customer service was very bad. To all my Indian peers living in Stuttgart please let me know if the naan in the photo is a garlic naan or a plain naan? Because the restaurant says this is garlic naan with 100% confidence.

Wir sind hierhin, weil wir mal in Stuttgart indisch essen gehen wollten und dieser Inder bei Tripadvisor weit oben stand. Erst das negative: - die Bedienung war erst 2 Wochen da und betonte auch immer wieder, dass sie sich nicht auskennt.. Soweit Ok, aber dann hol doch jemanden, der es tut ;) - es war ganz schön kalt in dem Lokal und auch insgesamt nicht wirklich gemütlich Das Positive: - ein Mega guter Aperol Spritz - das Essen war überraschend gut und sehr lecker - die Schärfe ist spürbar aber echt ok - die Portionen sind groß und man wird mehr als satt - die Gesamt Rechnung war sehr fair Fazit: wer einfach mal bezahlbar ordentlich indisch essen möchte und für den Ambiente nicht so wichtig ist, durchaus zu empfehlen
