There were 8 of us eating there and the restaurant prepared the dish especially for me without nuts due to my nut allergy. Very nice service👍🏼 Would love to come back there.

I used to live in London, where I developed a love for Indian food. While I can’t claim to be an expert in authentic Indian cuisine, I know what I like—and this restaurant certainly delivered. The food here was absolutely lovely. The waiter was not only friendly but also efficient and kind, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We visited on a Saturday evening without a reservation, yet they found us a nice table and provided excellent service throughout the evening. Be prepared: the portions are generous! My wife and I shared a starter platter, followed by a curry each, and we both struggled to finish. It’s rare for me to leave food on my plate, but the portion sizes are big—definitely great value for the money. The food was yummy, the service warm and attentive, and the prices reasonable. Despite how busy the restaurant became during our meal, the environment remained calm and pleasant. I’d happily return and would recommend this place to anyone craving tasty, hearty Indian food paired with excellent service.

Had hair in food. Never experienced such unfriendly staff. Before you enter the restaurant, you are greeted with a closed courtyard [in the evening/in the dark there are even bright floodlights], you can't even park your bike properly. Terribly kitschy decoration. Never again

We were more than positively surprised. It was the best Indian food / food in general that we have eaten in Darmstadt and the surrounding area for a long time. Even our children (2 years and 3 years) ate with us and were more than welcomed :) We'd love to come back :)

Amazing Food and Service. Literally the Best Indian food you can find in Darmstadt. They prepare your order as you like, if you want less or more spicy they make it accordingly. There service compliments the food and ambience is also good. I have tried several dishes over a span of few months and would highly recommend Tandoori Chicken and Tandoori Paneer Tikka if you are looking for a vegetarian option with garlic naan. Mango Lassi is a must try. Do visit it and I am sure you will love it too.

I love it! Been there several times. I like it better in the evening, but it's also great for a quick lunch! The food tastes soooo good, the drinks are cheap so I can happily have one more (full) glass! The waitress (girl) is super nice and personable! My absolute favorite Indian.

Went there for dinner with 4 people last night. All in all, I would rate the restaurant as good. But nothing more. Food was good. Drinks cheap (0.5 beer €3.80). But unfortunately after the order, the staff didn't show up anymore. We sat in front of empty glasses for a long time. We had to go to the counter every time and reorder. It's a shame... it spoiled the whole thing a bit.

Hello Indians and food lovers ! I with my friends just had dinner at this place and Wowwww it was just ummmm🤤 . For starters we had : Mixed Pakoras/fritters -> ( potato, Cottage cheese ( paneer) , Cauliflower, chicken,onion rings) . For drinks : Mango lassi, Beer , Apfelwein . For main course: Lamb tikka masala, Butter Chicken , chicken tikka masala . We found all the things to be absolutely delicious , the flavours are just as you would expect an Indian dish to have . Worth the travel from Frankfurt, it was ! 💯 recommended!

Superb curry - very friendly staff - can only recommend

We have been eating here at least once a month,since the past one year. The service has been extremely good, especially Saira. This weekend we got food catered for a party of 12 at home. Since we had friends who are not used to high spice levels we had especially requested for the dishes to be adapted to that. Saira coordinated the entire thing superbly. The food was freshly prepared and piping hot ( temperature wise), the spice levels were kept low as requested by us and the food was not greasy at all. Everyone loved the food( we had ordered chicken tikka, paneer tikka, samosas, Butter chicken, Dal Tadka and Palak Paneer). She also sent us Carrot cake, Gulab Jamun and Raita complimentary. Overall, the experience was great..the food was delicious and the service was awesome. I highly recommend them 👍

Very rude and very unprofessional behavior of the waiteress(lady) she said her self as owner but how any one can be owner without knowing to believe with guest.she was arguing alot it seems she came there direct from the slum.foods took 40 minutes to serve although there was no rush.

Very rude service. The waitress who claimed to be the owner hardly knows about any manners. Absolutely shameless behavior and likes to argue a lot. Food was delivered very late although the place was not so crowded. Definitely will not recommend this restaurant at all.

As you can see, it's not the first time that our naan has been completely BURNED when we order it!!! Exactly a month after the first time, this happens again. But if you eat locally, that's not the case. The food is actually good, but the naan disappoints me!

We always enjoy coming back and love the authenticity of the cuisine and the dishes prepared here. On our travels we also spent a few months in India and learned to love and appreciate the country's culinary diversity. The Indian Spicy with its dishes always manages to get very close to these memories. This week we chose the catering service for the home for the first time and, like our guests, were very satisfied. Only the number of guests for a delivery could be adjusted in the future to benefit customers. All that can be said in conclusion: Authentic, tasty, inexpensive, keep it up...

Wir haben anlässlich einer Feier diesmal das Indian Spicy Catering getestet. Nachdem wir schon oft im Restaurant in Darmstadt zu Gast und immer begeistert waren von dem authentischen indischen Essen haben wir diesmal die indische Küche zu uns nach Hause geholt. Verschiedene Vorspeisen, Suppe, drei Hauptspeisen, Dessert und natürlich Lassie. Alles war ganz hervorragend in ausreichender Menge zur Abholung bereitgestellt und unsere Gäste waren begeistert von der Vielfalt und dem Geschmack der Speisen. Anmerkung: Die Warmhaltebehälter haben wir uns extern ausgeliehen, da vom Restaurant diese nicht gestellt wurden.

Pleasant experience. Gladly again. I didn't see the restaurant from the inside. The ambience outside was pleasant. We sat nicely. It can get a little louder at times. But that is simply due to the central location. The chairs are a bit uncomfortable and otherwise I can't complain. It was very beautiful and protected from the sun. The waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. Very hard! We definitely felt like we were in good hands. The food was delicious and aromatic. It's probably not 100% the most authentic Indian food, as the dishes are already adapted to the German tongue and there are some "fusion" dishes such as the bowls. However, I found it very interesting and creative! As far as spiciness goes, I definitely could have used something spicier. I like spicy food. However, the levels of spiciness are not at the level of an Indian spiciness scale. The portions were definitely big enough! The mango lassi was slightly sweet and refreshing. However, I couldn't taste much mango. Overall, the prices could be a little cheaper (and the portions might be a little smaller). I'd be happy to come back and try out the menu again :)

We trusted the Google reviews and went. Starter platter and skin course were delicious. Price performance is right. However, spicy is also spicy. I found medium hot to be perfect. Waiters were nice and it was busy. The ambience was certainly nicer, but that's a matter of taste. But the main thing is that the food was good and it was clean. Somehow, however, I was shown different opening times on the website than the notice says. That's why I'm including this photo. We would go again. If the parking spaces on this side are full, there is a parking garage a few meters away.

The food was excellent, but I have never experienced two service staff looking so intently elsewhere when passing by. I would have liked to order another drink, but unfortunately I had to change venues.

I was already done with the service of this restaurant because of the extraordinarily rude waitress but I never had any complaints about food till the last time I had it ( maybe 6 months ago) But when I ordered kadai paneer - I got paneer in oil served . Along with extremely small allu kulcha. After paying 5 € only, the size of kulcha is as small as a desert plate. And ofcourse not satisfied with the taste either . For everyone reading this review skip this restaurant and go to Swaad ( has really friendly service , amazing food in good quantity and naan and kulcha over there are to die for) . I hope it helps.

Very good food but totally opposite service- Very bad service. The waitress(lady) is not matured enough to handle the guests, rude in way of talking. Even when a correction in food was mentioned she started to argue. This attitude is also more bad towards Indians... They take them for granted... Orders were very lately processed and even drinks were served very late when there was no crowd...

Best authentic North indian food in Darmstadt. They have a lot of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options to choose from. If you just want to try it, do go in lunch time. They have mid-day discounted prices for some dishes, but only pickup. I have tried almost all their veg dishes, and everything is just perfectly delicious. My favourites are Malai kofta, daal makhani, (served with good quality rice) and roti. Highly recommended if you love Indian food.

One of my friends suggested this restaurant and we went here. All of us ordered Thali (if I'm right), when it came to the table, it was warm, it smelled good, and it was very delicious. personells were really warm-hearted and friendly. Definitely, I'll go there again.

Indian Spicy bietet kein Schickmicki sondern ein gemütliches und entspannendes Ambiente. Das Essen ist exzellent - besonders zu empfehlen ist der Tandoori Chicken Tikka (Nr. 85) sowie das Knoblauch-Naanbrot. Die Portionen waren reichlich, kleinere kulinarische Anpassungen wurden auch umgesetzt. Bei meinem letzten Besuch wurden wir von der sehr gut gelaunten und lebenslustigen Saira sehr freundlich bedient. Die Preise sind durchaus günstig. Die Gaststätte ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Für mich das beste indische Restaurant in der Region. Super leckere Tandoori Gerichte und eine Geschmacksexplosion bei den Currys. Insbesondere das Tikka Masala habe ich nirgends ansatzweise so gut gegessen. Meine Frau und ich holen dort regelmäßig Essen ab und sind auch gerne vor Ort. Das Ambiente und der Service sind zwar ausbaufähig, dies wird jedoch durch das großartige und authentische Essen überkompensiert.

Für mich das beste Indische Restaurant in Darmstadt. Sehr leckeres Essen, netter Service. Man fühlt sich willkommen. Allerdings könnte der Service öfters mal nachfragen ob noch was gewünscht wird. Der Außenbereich befindet sich in einer Einfahrt, was allerdings überhaupt nicht stört, eher im Gegenteil. Macht es eher gemütlich und privat. Allerdings könnte die Einrichtung mal überholt werden ;-) Alles in allem eine absolute Empfehlung.
