The food quality was very bad, it smelled unpleasant, and the taste was also disappointing. We ordered paneer, and it was one of the worst we’ve ever had – it didn’t taste fresh at all.

If you like Indian food and the flair of the country, this is the right place for you. You have to head specifically for the small but cozy restaurant, otherwise you might just walk past it. As soon as you walk in, you notice that Indians also eat here. That means the food is authentic. The service was good, the Indian waiters were very nice. The restaurant is clean and somehow everything fits together. The guest area isn't particularly opulent, but we didn't expect it to be. We found a nice place. The food was great and we really enjoyed it too.

I ordered chicken biryani And they gave me rice and 3 pieces chicken . Biryanis looks just like simple rice mix with small gravy.

Would have loved to give a BIG ZERO. The restaurant has possibly the worst staff. To add to pain the food is below par. We are vegetarians and ordered paneer butter masala , dal makhni and naan. There were surprisingly chicken pieces in paneer butter masala. Upon protesting the waiter rudely told us to eat or leave. Our jaws dropped and were left flabbergasted. What is this kind of service? It’s such a shame the name “Indian” mango is defaming India itself by such service. Also to add the naan felt like an eraser that I was chewing. Just the most horrible experience ever

Beta Indian Restaurant in Munich

I'm correcting my review from my visit on September 3, 2020, from 6:43 p.m. to 7:43 p.m. The food and ambiance were okay. However, there are much better alternatives in Munich. Furthermore, I find it untenable to want to delete bad Google reviews. Therefore, I'm deducting another star because I don't recommend this service! Update August 2024: This review was attempted to be deleted due to "slander." I objected. Update March 2025: The restaurant is again attempting to delete this review due to "defamation." I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant -> one star. My experience with Indian Mango is the worst I've ever had with a restaurant!

So, I went for lunch on 25th March 2025 in this restaurant and I ordered the veg thali for one person. They served below items in thali. The food quality was not so good. I am truly disappointed. 1. Chole--> too salty and served cold 2. Arhar dal--> OK, served lukewarm 3. Paneer--> ok , served lukewarm 4. Rice- ok served, served cold 5. Naan ok I believe indian Mango need to redefine the dining experience. For example, please visit Yogi Mahal in Gemering and try their lunch menu. From Soup in starter till desert in the end the overall dining pleasure will compel you to visit it again.

I ordered a buy-one-get-one-free chicken masala from Uber Eats, but the experience was incredibly disappointing. The food was poorly cooked, with the chicken being undercooked and unappetizing. I had no choice but to throw everything away. I will never order from this place again. Attached receipt, these guys are trying to file a defamation. Instead focus on improving your food.

Ordered from UberEats several times & love it! Always take the vegan dal dishes. The naan bread is also vegan (also rare). Dishes are very spicy (so if you can't tolerate spiciness, be careful, but perfect for us 😁👌🏼)

I had Chicken Mango, and the chicken was very tough. The naan bread was too dry. We were seated in front of other customers without asking. Service was very poor and they don't give you an exact bill.

We were there via mobile vouchers. Naan bread with garlic too dry. Butter Chicken a little spicy. Service leaves a lot to be desired. When asked to get some more rice, he seemed very annoyed. There was rice again but only half a portion, which we were charged €2 for. We have often eaten Indian food and have never been charged for rice when we re-ordered it.

No pictures because we couldn’t wait. The food is amazing, authentic flavours too. We requested “Indian spicy”, it was super flavourful. Warm service, polite people. 10/10 recommend.

I had lunch here and tried the vegetarian dish (for 2 people) - Paneer Tikka Masala, Dal Makhni along with Garlic Naan. For drinks, it was Mango Lassi and Salt Lassi. The dal makhni was less makhni and bit spicy. The paneer tikka masala had plain paneer instead of tikka and the gravy tasted a bit raw and sweet. The garlic naan was too dry. Both mango lassi and salt lassi was too much diluted. I think they should fix it. It wasn't the best experience here after seeing so many good reviews.

One of the best Indian brunches on Sundays! Absolutely recommended only for the Sunday brunch of 10 euro and nothing else. The place itself is not nice and the staff not friendly. They just want to get rid of you as soon as possible and have their tables running as much as possible. Not a place to chill, just eat and go!

I recently visited this restaurant. We went there to eat South Indian food, but upon reaching, we found out that it is only available on Sundays. So, we ordered garlic naan, dal makhani, and paneer tikka masala. For beverages, we ordered mango lassi and jeera lassi. The portion size of the food was very good, but the taste was average. The dal makhani was too spicy, even though we had specifically mentioned beforehand that we didn’t want it spicy. The paneer tikka masala had a very tangy tomato flavor, and there was a slight raw taste in the spices. The lassi was watery. I have already tried lassi at 3-4 restaurants in Germany, and theirs were very good. The prices were decent, but considering the taste, the pricing didn’t feel justified. We only tried vegetarian food, so maybe their non-vegetarian dishes are better. For vegetarians, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

good food, ok environment, terrible service, we waited 1 hour for our dishes and we were the only table, also lots of uber deliveries waiting and opening the door continuously causing cold current all the time, OK food but they forgot to bring us the appetizers, I feel sorry for the owners because I don't think it's their fault but they really need to organize themselves better, all the ubers did it first and they made us wait a really long time when we sat down.

I am a big eater and my wife actually just needs sth in her belly to not start a turmoil. Must try: - Tiger chicken 11/10,not spicy (nice to share) - Chicken Biryani 10/10 (tasted really authentic, if u r white and u never tried it, a must do), enough for a couple like us - as indian we cannot risk to order not enough food for 4 (eventhough we were 1.5) - we took the palak paneer 10/10 (which comes with rice and is enough for 1 hungry person) + extra garlic naan (7/10) We spend around 60€ for all this, they added free rice with sauce and now we hand an amazing lunch + dinner for later! MUST GO RESTO!

I had a very disappointing experience with my order via Uber Eats from this restaurant. The order (Butter Chicken) was not only delivered cold but was also leaky and completely soggy. The protective film was opened, making the food inedible. The portions were outrageously small and one of the dishes only had two small pieces of meat. The quality of the food was absolutely disappointing: the sauce was watery and the meat had a poor consistency. It seemed like they had used the "2 for 1" promotion to split a single serving between two. The service was equally disappointing. The restaurant apologized but deferred any responsibility to Uber Eats, saying there was nothing they could do. When I had questions, I was brushed off several times by the restaurant and Uber Eats, unfriendly and without a solution. I expect significantly more care and better customer service from a restaurant that uses delivery services. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The quality of the food was a complete disappointment. The butter chicken consisted of watery sauce with tiny pieces of meat that had nothing to do with a full meal. The portion size seemed like a cheap excuse to compensate for offers like "2 for 1" with smaller portions. The taste was also disappointing: bland, carelessly prepared and the meat was of questionable quality. For the price I expected much more. Added to this is poor customer service. When I asked, I was treated unfriendly and my concerns were not taken seriously. Overall, no recommendation either for the food or for dealing with customers!

Bottomless delivery via Uber Eats. Instead of butter chicken there was kaka chicken. Meat as tough as a shoe sole, also clotted butter sauce. It had nothing to do with butter chicken. There was also overcooked rice and the two garlic naans were forgotten. Would never order here again.

This review refers to delivery by Indian Mango: In the last few years we have ordered a total of 3 times from Indian Mango via Uber Eats delivery (2 for 1). Unfortunately, all three times the food was not satisfactory: Portions outrageously small. The masala sauce tasted way too sour and tomato-like. The Dal Tadka was bland and had an unpleasant crumbly texture. Very very bad! The meat was tough/dry and the cheese was tasteless. Requests were also not addressed. I think it's a shame how Indian Mango is constantly driving down its rating due to their catastrophic delivery offer, as I actually remembered two previous visits there quite well.

I’m a fan of Indian cuisine, but unfortunately, this restaurant didn’t meet expectations. The biryani I ordered was cold and tasted like it had been sitting for too long, lacking the fresh, aromatic quality you’d expect. The grilled items weren’t cooked properly, which was disappointing. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you're looking for authentic, well-prepared Indian food.

It is one of the most delicious Indian restaurants. The treatment of the staff is also wonderful, and one of the employees speaks Arabic. His name is Rakesh, who is friendly and helpful.

I ordered 2x Chicken Vindaloo and there were no potatoes. The chicken was so chewy it was almost like bubble gum. Plus the sauce wasn't even half full. I definitely won't order again and can't recommend it to anyone.
