Als indischer Kunde hatte ich leider einen sehr enttäuschenden Eindruck. Während meines Besuchs hatte ich das Gefühl, nicht mit derselben Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit behandelt zu werden wie andere Gäste. Der Service wirkte unmotiviert, die Wartezeit war ungewöhnlich lang und die Qualität des Essens entsprach nicht meinen Erwartungen. Besonders enttäuschend war die Art, wie das Essen serviert wurde. Es wirkte lieblos angerichtet und vermittelte nicht den Eindruck, dass man die Gäste wertschätzt. Insgesamt fühlte ich mich als Kunde nicht willkommen und respektvoll behandelt. Ich hoffe, dass das Restaurant seinen Kundenservice verbessert und alle Gäste unabhängig von ihrer Herkunft gleich behandelt. Aufgrund meiner Erfahrung werde ich das Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Ich habe eine Empfehlung von einem Kollegen bekommen und war total begeistert. Das Essen hat mich positiv überrascht und die Bedienung war super freundlich! Der Laden ist zwar recht klein und gut besucht, aber ich kann ihn wegen des Essens wirklich empfehlen :)

Wir hatten Vegetable Manchurian zu Mitnehmen bestellt und bekamen sechs Manchurian-Portionen mit Reis serviert! Tatsächlich wurde Manchurian mit Reis serviert! Einfach nur schrecklich! Nie wieder!

Das Studentenmenü galt nur für Münchner Studenten, obwohl dies nirgends angegeben war. Die Bedienung war bei der Erklärung unhöflich.

Große Portionen, authentische Aromen

Kann die guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen: Wir waren an einem Abend dort und haben erstmal Vorspeise und Hauptspeise bestellt. Leider wurden die beiden gleichzeitig serviert, der Reis war dabei schon kalt und klebrig. Vermute, dass er nicht am selben Tag gemacht wurde? Tandoori war insgesamt lieblos zubereitet und schmeckte etwas fad. Insgesamt würden wir das Restaurant nicht empfehlen. Positiv: Bedienung war in Ordnung.

Wir haben hier das erste Mal bestellt und das Essen kam rechtzeitig/ in der vorgegebenen Zeit an. Leider war das Essen KALT und das Naan SCHWARZ verbrannt. Wir werden nicht noch einmal bestellen.

Das Korma hatte ein bisschen wenig Geschmack, dafür war das masala super 👌(Montag bis Freitag gibt es für 5 Euro Mittagsmenüs)

Essen war gut aber teilweise schlecht beschrieben auf der Speisekarte was die Schärfe beschreibt, kann man aber natürlich erfragen. Geschmeckt hat es super, ein paar Gerichte für Kinder wären toll.

Auf den ersten Blick präsentiert sich das Restaurant als unscheinbar. Das Ambiente wirkt nicht sehr einladend. Wir kamen mit einem Groupongutschein, der ein dreigängiges Menü enthält. Angeboten waren ein Mangolikör oder Chai, wobei der Likör nicht verfügbar war. So verhielt es auch auch mit einer gewünschten Vorspeise. Das war enttäuschend. Die Hauptspeise war allerdings ein echtes Highlight: authentisch, gut gewürzt und reichlich. Der Service war schnell, nicht übermäßig freundlich, aber zügig und höflich.

Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Wir haben für eine Konferenz Catering bei ihnen bestellt und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert und flexibel, das Essen kam pünktlich an und alle waren mit der Menge und den Portionen sehr zufrieden. Würden wir jederzeit wieder bestellen!

Das Personal ist sehr unhöflich und schlecht geschult, da es nicht weiß, wie es auf Uber- und Wolt-Fahrer reagieren soll. Ich bin extrem erschöpft und es war die schlimmste Erfahrung überhaupt.

Top Restaurant! Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend – frisch, aromatisch und sehr authentisch. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den RAKESH: super freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und gut betreut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Köstliches Essen! Man konnte auch weniger scharf bestellen, wenn man es nicht so gut verträgt. Nach dem Essen haben wir einen Mango-Kokospudding bekommen, der auf‘s Haus ging! Der Service von Rakesh war richtig gut! Vielen Dank:)

Das Beste an diesem Restaurant ist Rakesh; man fühlt sich wie in Punjab, die Musik trug ebenfalls zur Atmosphäre bei. Aber auch Rakesh war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ich hatte zweimal ein wunderbares Erlebnis im indischen Restaurant Mango. Rakesh war sehr freundlich, hat uns die besten Gerichte empfohlen und sich hervorragend um alles gekümmert. Ich werde es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Guter Mittagstisch zu gutem Preis

Wir hatten knusprigen Blumenkohl als Vorspeise, und er war wirklich köstlich (leider erinnere ich mich nicht mehr an den Namen des Gerichts). Das Mango-Curry war hervorragend und schön süß.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen, toller Service, super Atmosphäre Wir bestellten hausgemachtes Hähnchen, Hammelfleisch Madras, Knoblauch-Naan, Mango-Lassi und Guavensaftschole. Das Hammelfleisch Madras war unglaublich lecker 🤯🤯🤯! Wir können dieses Gericht wärmstens empfehlen, wenn Sie es gerne etwas schärfer mögen 🌶️. Das Mango-Lassi war ebenfalls sehr, sehr gut. Die anderen Gerichte waren gut, aber nicht ganz so herausragend wie das Madras und das Mango-Lassi. Wir haben alle Gerichte mit Genuss und Zufriedenheit aufgegessen. Der Service war freundlich. Es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Das Restaurant sieht schön und sauber aus. Es gibt auch eine kleine Bar. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Kleines indisches Restaurant in der Nähe vom Isartor. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend. Es ist sehr lecker gewürzig. Es gibt auch für Vegetarier und Veganer großer Auswahl. Ich habe kürzlich das Indian Mango besucht und war begeistert! Der Hara Bhara Kebab war herrlich knusprig und geschmackvoll, und das Paneer Butter Masala war reichhaltig, cremig und einfach köstlich. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Gastfreundschaft – die Mitarbeiter waren unglaublich herzlich und freundlich und wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Ihre aufmerksame und zuvorkommende Art machte das Essen noch schöner. Absolut empfehlenswert für authentische indische Küche in München!

Wirklich gute indische Küche und nettes Servicepersonal!

I don't recommend a visit at all, it doesn't even deserve a star. The cooking smell is so strong that you can hardly breathe.

Wir bestellten drei Hauptspeisen, eine Vorspeise sowie eine Nachspeise. Zusätzlich waren drei Naan-Brote Teil der Bestellung, diese wurden jedoch nicht mitgeliefert. Darüber hinaus war die Nachspeise leider nicht genießbar. Bei der telefonischen Kontaktaufnahme wegen der fehlenden Naan-Brote wurde die Verantwortung ausschließlich dem Lieferanten zugeschrieben. Seitens des Restaurants erfolgte weder eine Entschuldigung noch ein Lösungsangebot. Das Gespräch wurde schließlich vom Mitarbeiter abrupt beendet. Letztlich blieben wir auf den Kosten für die nicht gelieferten Naan-Brote sitzen. Der Umgang mit der Reklamation war insgesamt wenig kundenorientiert und unprofessionell.

Ich kann mich nicht daran erinnern schon mal so ein zartes Lammfleisch gegessen zu haben 🤤 In dem Lokal fühlt es sich an wie in Indien.

Ich war schon ein paar Mal mit einem Freund im Indian Mango, und der Service von Rakesh war wirklich hervorragend und er war sehr freundlich. Ich würde dieses Restaurant meinen Freunden auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen, um authentische indische Küche zu genießen.

Sehr leckeres Essen und netter Service. Es gibt auch eine große Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten. Die einzigen 2 ,,Probleme" sind dass es sehr laut und voll ist und das Essen vielleicht für manche zu scharf sein könnte, aber ansonsten mega Restaurant!

Win kleines, indisches Restaurant mit netten, sympathischen Mitarbeitenden und leckeren Speisen. Das Ambiente ist nichts Besonderes oder Schickes, aber für mal eben mit lieben Menschen was Gutes essen, ist es super. Preis ist für München völlig in Ordnung. Parkplatz gibtbes keinen, aber man kann den Ort gut öffentlich erreichen. Ich komm auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Essen ist okay, durchschnittlich, nichts Besonderes. Es ist in Ordnung, wenn man eine günstige Lieferoption sucht. Es ist definitiv nichts, was einen für die indische Küche begeistern wird. Ich gebe trotzdem 4 von 5 Sternen, vor allem wegen des 2-für-1-Angebots bei Wolt. Wer mag schließlich kein günstiges Essen, solange es essbar ist? Aber wer wirklich leckeres indisches Essen genießen möchte, findet in München deutlich bessere Alternativen.

Der beste Inder seit langem. Wir waren mittags an einem Samstag ohne Reservierung. Bekamen sofort einen Platz, alle sehr freundlich. Aber das Highway war das Essen. Super gewürzt und das Fleisch sehr zart. Wir kommen definitiv wieder wenn wir in München sind.

Eigentlich hatten wir gar nicht geplant, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen, aber wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn wir in München sind! Folgt unbedingt Rakeshs Empfehlung, die ist wirklich top!

Chicken Tikka Masala was insane and we tried their mutton curry with bone which was also very flavourful. Garlic naan with the gravies is the perfect meal.

The food was tasty, much better than expected. The naan was very good and the curries were decent and tastes close to authentic. Although more spices would improve the taste, Definitely recommend it.

Delicious food, reasonable prices, friendly service

Having seen the advertisement at the Isartor several times, I went to Indian Mango today for their Sunday special. I received a very friendly welcome. The vada, dosa, and side dishes were all delicious. I also had a chai, which was fantastic. They even checked to see if everything was alright; I felt very welcome. There was one small drawback, though: it was quite drafty by the window. However, I was allowed to move to a different table when I asked. Overall, I would say it's definitely worth a visit, especially for the Sunday special.

Our first time in Munich and we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. Really good Indian food. It tasted amazing. We highly recommend it.

Ordered Butter Chicken 2 for 1 with naan via Uber Eats. Absolutely the worst Indian food we've ever had, if you can even call it Indian food!! Positive: The plain rice was good. Negative: - Burnt (blackened) and dry chicken. - Buttery, milky tomato sauce without any spices whatsoever, whatever the cook was trying to "conjure up"?! You'd think it was stale, but without any spices?! A disgrace to Indian cuisine! - The naan bread was also raw... (shouldn't it be baked?!) Conclusion: Except for the rice, inedible and straight to the bin... I wish I'd taken a picture beforehand. It's a shame to have been ripped off like this by a restaurant with good reviews (how is that even possible?!)

Stopped here for lunch and we were not quite sure about the place but it ended up being the best decision. The food is north Indian mostly and the rotis were fluffy and pillowy (transported me back to India straight away). I highly recommend the rotis. We also tried the Tiger chicken and chicken tikka masala. They tasted pretty good as well.

Sunday brunch. Three different vegetarian main courses (palao, samosa, vegetable soup), two chutneys, and dessert for €10. Perfectly seasoned, generous portions, and very tasty. The ambiance is rather basic, a pragmatic snack bar. The service is very attentive. Many locals enjoy eating here. I'll be back!

The curry was neither good nor very bad. The service made it clear that they seemed to discriminate between guests, which left a rather unpleasant impression. In addition, there were many small flies flying on the wall, which further detracted from the ambiance. Overall, the price-performance ratio is not good.

I ordered Kadai paneer and It was full of oil even though it was mentioned to not add any or replace with butter. it seems like not a fresh preparation as the peppers were too soft and the paneer was way too less. Naan was also just like thick bread and not tasty. Not happy with taste and quality

I had Sunday Brunch (dosa combo) for 10€ & Aambur biryani (12€). Outstanding taste, authentic flavor & spice. Aambur biryani tasted very close to original style but of course one cannot get the same Aambur flavor due to difference in water, chicken being fresh in India etc.. Tamil Nadu style biryani .. Hospitality, humble and friendly service.. Filter coffee was good like in TN. Chef is from one of the Marriot ‘s in India.

Me and the bois went to Indian Mango and spent 67 euros 💸💸 BOIII when I tell you that BUTTER CHICKEN had me levitating 😭😭 waiter pulled up like “mango or mustard sauce?” and I blacked out next thing I know I’m speaking fluent curry 💀🥭 67 mango mustard energy in that tikka masala bro 😤😤 TS SO TUFF 🔥🔥 they dropped the naan and it echoed through the restaurant like SIX SEVEEENNNN 😭😭🥭🥭 never disrespect the Indian Mango gang 💪

The worst customer experience I have had with a restaurant in a Minute. The order was placed and I waited for 2 hours to get food that at the end was not even delivered. Spent my hard earned 55,18€ and I cannot even rate the food because I did not eat it, but I will rate my experience as a customer, IT WAS VERY NEGATIVE. I called the restaurant to inform them of the situation and all I could get was, call the delivery guy, that is your problem. How is it my problem when you choose the wrong partners to deliver your food or work with? Maybe you should consider sitting down and discussing it internally before the end consumer feels the pain which will result in such long negative reviews. Thankyou for NOTHING.

Rotten paneer gravy - not fresh

They have variety of foods... Biriyani was delicious for me and if you need dosa go before 1 pm.

I was in the mood for a simple indian food so tried their Dal Tadka and Aloo Paratha and both were super yummy. Service was excellent and very attentive staff. Inside sitting could be noisy though.

A very dirty restaurant. One of them even licks his hand while serving food and then wipes it on his dirty clothes. I wonder where the Ministry of Health is in this restaurant.

The palak paneer (€13.50) looks and tastes like it's made with creamed spinach. It's not well seasoned. I've had better palak paneer. At my request, Ron gave me a clean plate, free of any leftovers.

The restaurant's staff is extremely unprofessional and unpleasant set of people. Once they see you're Indians, they will not even care to talk properly. One guy literally said, " arre bhai" and didn't even let me talk, they cut me in between and started to raise their voice and talk. Extremely unfriendly. Poor service.

Highly recommend to visit and experience authentic Indian cuisine. Their main highlight is the Sunday Brunch, its value for money and quality. It consists of an entire meal of its own, including a filter coffee. The staff is very friendly and brunch is available from 10 AM. Come early if you want to avoid waiting times ;) They also have a chicken biriyani along with fried chicken combo, which is also highly recommended. Overall this experience is perfect for a lazy budget friendly yet satisfying Sunday 😁

I'm not really a big fan of Indian food—especially because of the coriander and spicy food. But at Indian Mango, I was proven wrong! The team was incredibly friendly, attentive, and flexible, so they prepared a perfectly balanced dish for me. I was particularly impressed by the tender meat, which was perfectly seasoned and juicy—a real treat. Despite my reserved preferences, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I was also impressed by how well the staff accommodated us, even when the restaurant was very busy. My girlfriend loves Indian food, and I can now understand why she was so enthusiastic. Authentic atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food—Indian Mango pleasantly surprised me. I will definitely be back, even though I usually opt for regional dishes.

We usually like to eat regional food that suits the city – but since I love Indian food, we absolutely had to go to the always-packed Indian Mango. And it was absolutely worth it! We were only in Munich for four days, and we ate there twice because the food was simply fantastic. I had the chili paneer, and I can honestly say: I've never eaten such good Indian food. Spicy, fresh, authentic – everything prepared with love. I would especially like to emphasize the friendly and attentive staff. Even though the restaurant was very busy, we were immediately seated. They easily accommodated our individual requests. My boyfriend doesn't like spicy food or coriander, and they still prepared something suitable for him. The atmosphere is authentic, relaxed, down-to-earth, and inviting, the team warm – an absolute highlight in Munich that I highly recommend to every Indian food lover. I would go back in a heartbeat!

I can honestly say this is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The customer service was absolutely perfect—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We ordered Butter Chicken, garlic naan, butter naan, lamb curry, chicken curry, and chicken biryani. Every single dish was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I’ve had butter chicken at so many places before and usually end up complaining, but here it was incomparable—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The naan was fresh and soft, the curries were delicious, and the biryani was spot on. To top it off, the desi chai tasted just like back home, which really made the experience special. Highly recommend this place—I’ll definitely be coming back!
