Had a great experience. Authentic Indian food. Not too spicy but appropriate. The brunch was also great. Specially the dosa and vada. They were crispy.

We enjoyed the Indian breakfast/brunch that is available on Sundays a lot. Good opportunity to try a variety of South Indian specialities (dosa etc) and super value for price.

I wouldn't call this place a "restaurant", it's more of a "snack bar". It looks old and dingy. The surfaces and dishes feel sticky. The kitchen staff also seemed somehow unkempt. Dirty, wait... The food from the lunch menu tastes like it has been warmed up. I'm not going there again.

If you need to have Indian in Munich, go there if nothing else is closer. Food was okay at best. Service was alright but could have been better.

While you walk towards deutsches meuseum from Isartor S Bahn station, you will spot this restaurant. I went in July(summer time) so they had an outdoor seating which was cute. The staff is so so sweet here and they go extra mile to help you. You will feel authentic indian taste in their food as I can vouch for it. The chef and the staff is from India and their Mango lassi is amazing!!!!❤️

I would not recommend eating here. I was there at the least busy hour of the day today( 4 pm). The place was understaffed. The waiter was rude and exhausted, looking after the place all by himself. I specifically asked him for a drink twice, which he didn't serve until I was half done with my meal. He was also interested in unsolicited remarks about our order, which I found totally unnecessary and a mockery of my choices. The food was also not up to the mark. Overcooked chicken and bland gravy made it less appealing and failed to savor the whole meal. This is one of the worst waiter experiences I have ever had in Germany.

Great restaurant in Munich— lots of Indian clientele (ourselves included) so you know it’s authentic. We were visiting Munich and happened upon this little hidden treasure. It wasn’t busy when we arrived but after half an hour, the entire two dining areas and outside were completely full. Not to mention they have a busy take out business as well. We ordered the butter chicken and the spinach paneer. Both excellent and the second night even more garlicky! I definitely recommend this restaurant with the friendly wait staff.

We recently ate here for the first time and loved it. It was really busy, but the waiter was very attentive. Never had such good onion bahji! They were excellent. We were also impressed by the main courses. Chili paneer and kahari paneer were really delicious and highly recommended, but we were particularly impressed by one specialty (forgotten name) with vegan balls. Chai, mango lassi and mango spritzer were also great. We can only recommend it, but it is also very well attended!

Travelled all the way from Ingolstadt to try their brunch and loved at the first time. Generous portion with delicious items. Overall a treat for South Indians. Well deserved and highly recommended. Ambience is a constraint with space. Looking forward to try Fish on Friday’s special.

Decided to go this place for dinner while looking for Indian food options while on vacation in Munich and couldn’t have been happier with the choice. The server , I think his name was Rakesh, was just amazing. Was very friendly and attentive. He made the whole experience so much better. We went there 2 days in a row for dinner and everything we ordered was so tasty. We had the Panner masala, chicken kadai, chicken biryani with butter naans. The portions are good and the price is so reasonable. Per person price comes to around €9-10! All main dishes come with basmati rice. Would strongly recommend this place if you are looking for Indian food in Munich.

I have been here for lunch with family. Food: Great varieties and excellent taste. Kerala dishes tastes really good - it’s more a German version of kerala food. Ambiance: Lively and very welcoming. Overall Experience: Excellent service.

This restaurant was recommended to us by Indian themselves living in Munich and we knew we had to try it. It definitely did not disappoint. The location is fantastic and the service is quick unfriendly which is not very easy to find in many places in Munich.

Definitely worth the time. I ordered the Butter Chicken with garlic naan (Total €17.15) and I wasn't harshly disappointed. The butter chicken wasn't traditionally sweet but rather had flavour profiles of chicken tikka masala, which was also enhanced due to the chilli flakes added. But I'd prefer it if they added honey or some sweetening agent to it. But it was enjoyable. The garlic naan, however, was a shortcoming. The naan dried out rather quickly and became hard, due to the lack of butter/oil and I couldn't really get the flavour of the garlic, maybe it just happened with me, but I was a bit disappointed. The portion sizes are fit for one person per sitting, I doubt it could be shared. The owner and staff are very happy and welcoming with smiles on their faces and the ambiance really gives indian feels to it. Would definitely eat here again, and maybe even bring a friend.

The Sunday Brunch us the best offer you can get. The food was delicious and the quantity is just more than enough. I recommend trying this out.

Worst indian restaurant bar far in Munich - dirty, filthy, food awfull, traditional bread is probably 100 years old.. stay away.

We went to have the Insta reel famous South Indian buffet....however the insta influences did not tell that it is not a buffet but a Thali where the quality is limited...talking about food...sambar hardly had imli taste and it was so diluted in water had to tell if sambar masala was cooked with water or water was cooked with sambar masala...filter coffee was just like what we get in IRCTC pantry...dosa was good but it was so small that it can come in your hand completely....the only thing that was good was medu wada and kesar halwa...I would request the so call insta influences to be transparent and not make unrealistic reels just for views

Less Quantity I availed buy one get one offer from uber eats and picked up parcel (Chicken Jalfrezi) myself. On opening the box I got to know that the quantity was significantly less than usual. Combined quantity of two portions was even less than a single. Restaurant is now properly fooling via uber eats, czz on raising an issue on uber eats they asked me to deal with the restaurant itself! I am visiting this restaurant since Dec 2021 so I know usual quantities of particular dish. I hope this feedback would make some positive changes. In the video and image one can see how less the quantity was!

Best brunch in Munich. We went for the Sunday brunch. It came with kesari, medu wada, masala dosa, rice, sambar, two types of chutneys. The sambar and chutney were refilled. It also included filter coffee. The food was tasty and filling. The brunch was 10€ per person. The chef, waiters and all the people were very polite and friendly.

The Sunday brunch here is so filling and tasty. One of the best tastes in germany no doubt.

The food was excellent And the price is excellent But the drawback is that the place is small and old, and there is no ventilation. I visited it on a rainy day and had to sit inside. To everyone who complains about delivery via Uber Eats: What do you expect when a 2-for-1 deal with great value for money is delivered to you all over the city? I have been ordering from Indian Mango for over 2 years and have rarely been disappointed. It's often the Uber Eats courier's fault that the food is cold or the packaging is torn open. The food has always been great - so don't act like that ;-)

The worst experience ever. I ordered 3 dishes for delivery but I have received only 2. I called the restaurant askin them to send the missing dish because I have children and they were hungry but the restaurant closed the line and stopped replying on my phone number. The 2 dishes that I received were very small and not tasty at all. I like the indian food but this was very bad 😞

It was the most welcoming store I've ever been to! Very special for Munich. They have many vegan alternatives on offer :) When I asked, they immediately listed which dishes I could have vegan and without onions and without garlic (due to intolerance), which immediately aroused trust. We received such attentive and friendly service! The whole staff was great :) ...the kitchen even gave us a mango dessert and mango schnapps shot on the house. The naan is freshly made and they did not charge for the naan that was ordered. From our seats outside you could look into the kitchen, which I found very exciting.

We were here quite a while ago. Afterwards we tried many Indian restaurants and hardly any were as tasty as Indian Mango. You have to try it once! The meat is tender, the spices are incredibly tasty and the prices are reasonable.

They don’t deserve even one star. We ordered via Uber eats and needed 1.5 hours to send the food - for a 2km air line direction. They did not send the whole order and when we call to ask for a solution they suggested to order again and they would send in the next order followed by hanging up the phone. As nothing was clear, we called again and then they didn’t pick up the phone. We then tried from a different number, and they picked up but leading to the same end: hanging up the phone with the argument they don’t speak Germanz Finally they washed their hands telling us to clear with Uber eats as it wouldn’t be their problem. So not recommended at all!

Went here with a few friends for their Sunday brunch special available at a discounted rate of €10. It included Mysore Masala Dosa, Medu Vada, Sambar, Coconut chutney, Tomato chutney, Sweet Pineapple Upma, Kesari bath and filter coffee. For €10, it is a pretty good deal. You can get free refills on the Chutneys and Sambar. The size of the dosa is on the smaller side, but the quality of its Masala makes up for it. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Sunday brunch special.

This restaurant is quite close to the Deutsches Museum and the Isator train station. The food was quite ok, the service was quick and the staff was nice and friendly. Prices are reasonable. The ambience is quite basic though.

The waitress who brings the food to the table is rude to the uber eats drivers This generally applies to the service there - the bad climate for Uber Eats drivers - the drivers are treated like dirt

Beware of scammers! 1.) We ordered Butter Chicken twice through a “Buy 1 get 2” promotion and so we should have received 4. Only two portions arrived and of course everything was denied even though we had receipts. 2.) They just hang up on the phone and don't answer it anymore. 3.) The food looks like vomit! I've never been served such a thin porridge before. We didn't get the food because it smelled funny. My suspicion: an employee driven by narcissism could have indulged in the food! Health department will be contacted! Unheard of.

The order consisted of 2 main courses + 2 x naan bread. The naan was missing altogether. I honestly wonder how it is possible for orders not to be delivered as ordered - we are talking about a restaurant and not a fast food joint. Goes on my list of restaurants that can't even read the order slip. The employee was friendly on the phone before ordering, but I was no longer able to reach the restaurant after receiving it.

Indian Mango is very nice Indian restaurant specially staff is very cooperative specially Rakesh who has provided good hospitality and suggested famous Menus from their menu book.

UBER eats terrible! The food was absolutely terrible and inedible! Palak Paneer the spinach was light green and totally watery... the garlic nan like cardboard... really disappointed. For 61€?! It doesn't work at all NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Rakesh was a gracious host and accommodating. I was in a hurry and he put together a wonderful meal with papad and masala Chai. Since it was a Sunday and everything was closed he also gave me a bottle of water to save me the trouble of searching for an open store to buy water. Highly recommended. Will visit again

A cozy restaurant where we ate, not for the first time. Casual atmosphere and very reasonable prices. No coffee after dinner but a very tasty dessert (mango coconut mousse).

Lots of vegan selection! Vegan dishes are also available on the lunch menu upon request. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The prices on the lunch menu are unbeatable. A clear recommendation! Thanks for the comforting meal!

Unfortunately, sometimes things change. We miss the old boss, the gentleman with glasses is impersonal. The young waiters were very accommodating. The food used to be better seasoned and the tiger chicken with peanuts was a real treat. It was well prepared. The sauces have become thin in dishes. Maybe there's a new chef who has to get involved first.

We have already ordered at least 30 times from Indian Mango via Uber Easts. Every time exactly what was ordered came and it was always very tasty and the portions were large enough. Tastes really good. The taste always varies a bit, was sometimes quite spicy but always delicious. Dear Indian Mango Team, we have ordered so many times, when will you get a mango lassi on your neck? :)
