Good average, but nothing more.

The worst customer experience I have had with a restaurant in a Minute. The order was placed and I waited for 2 hours to get food that at the end was not even delivered. Spent my hard earned 55,18€ and I cannot even rate the food because I did not eat it, but I will rate my experience as a customer, IT WAS VERY NEGATIVE. I called the restaurant to inform them of the situation and all I could get was, call the delivery guy, that is your problem. How is it my problem when you choose the wrong partners to deliver your food or work with? Maybe you should consider sitting down and discussing it internally before the end consumer feels the pain which will result in such long negative reviews. Thankyou for NOTHING.

Rotten paneer gravy - not fresh

They have variety of foods... Biriyani was delicious for me and if you need dosa go before 1 pm.

I was in the mood for a simple indian food so tried their Dal Tadka and Aloo Paratha and both were super yummy. Service was excellent and very attentive staff. Inside sitting could be noisy though.

A very dirty restaurant. One of them even licks his hand while serving food and then wipes it on his dirty clothes. I wonder where the Ministry of Health is in this restaurant.

The people in this restaurant are very rude. I work with Uber and I always have to wait for half an hour.

The palak paneer (€13.50) looks and tastes like it's made with creamed spinach. It's not well seasoned. I've had better palak paneer. At my request, Ron gave me a clean plate, free of any leftovers.

The restaurant's staff is extremely unprofessional and unpleasant set of people. Once they see you're Indians, they will not even care to talk properly. One guy literally said, " arre bhai" and didn't even let me talk, they cut me in between and started to raise their voice and talk. Extremely unfriendly. Poor service.

Unfortunately, the chicken tikka masala tasted really bad - the sauce had a strange aftertaste and the meat was super dry.

Highly recommend to visit and experience authentic Indian cuisine. Their main highlight is the Sunday Brunch, its value for money and quality. It consists of an entire meal of its own, including a filter coffee. The staff is very friendly and brunch is available from 10 AM. Come early if you want to avoid waiting times ;) They also have a chicken biriyani along with fried chicken combo, which is also highly recommended. Overall this experience is perfect for a lazy budget friendly yet satisfying Sunday 😁

I'm not really a big fan of Indian food—especially because of the coriander and spicy food. But at Indian Mango, I was proven wrong! The team was incredibly friendly, attentive, and flexible, so they prepared a perfectly balanced dish for me. I was particularly impressed by the tender meat, which was perfectly seasoned and juicy—a real treat. Despite my reserved preferences, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I was also impressed by how well the staff accommodated us, even when the restaurant was very busy. My girlfriend loves Indian food, and I can now understand why she was so enthusiastic. Authentic atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food—Indian Mango pleasantly surprised me. I will definitely be back, even though I usually opt for regional dishes.

We usually like to eat regional food that suits the city – but since I love Indian food, we absolutely had to go to the always-packed Indian Mango. And it was absolutely worth it! We were only in Munich for four days, and we ate there twice because the food was simply fantastic. I had the chili paneer, and I can honestly say: I've never eaten such good Indian food. Spicy, fresh, authentic – everything prepared with love. I would especially like to emphasize the friendly and attentive staff. Even though the restaurant was very busy, we were immediately seated. They easily accommodated our individual requests. My boyfriend doesn't like spicy food or coriander, and they still prepared something suitable for him. The atmosphere is authentic, relaxed, down-to-earth, and inviting, the team warm – an absolute highlight in Munich that I highly recommend to every Indian food lover. I would go back in a heartbeat!

I can honestly say this is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The customer service was absolutely perfect—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We ordered Butter Chicken, garlic naan, butter naan, lamb curry, chicken curry, and chicken biryani. Every single dish was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I’ve had butter chicken at so many places before and usually end up complaining, but here it was incomparable—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The naan was fresh and soft, the curries were delicious, and the biryani was spot on. To top it off, the desi chai tasted just like back home, which really made the experience special. Highly recommend this place—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Super delicious Indian food and good price :)

We had chicken tikka masala, which wasn't grilled. The sauce tasted like butter chicken with a hint of curry. Even the rice wasn't what we're used to from other Indian restaurants. With so little love, it took far too long.

Food quality is good. Staff is cooperative and friendly. No need to reserve a table for most of the time. Sunday brunch option is nice. Value for money place.

Truly delicious Indian food. The chicken tikka was wonderfully spicy, and the naan bread was also excellent. And all at a very reasonable price. The value for money here is very good. Unfortunately, the ambiance wasn't very nice, as everything seemed a bit dated and in need of renovation. It was also a bit dark in places. At our table, there was still rice left on the floor from previous guests, and it was unfortunately a bit noisy. Nevertheless, I can recommend it 👍🏼

Worst Indian food I have ever eaten, no taste, no customer service, they are more prioritizing UberEATS and Wolt deliveries. Kept me waited. Dirty kitchen. Totally waste of money and mood.

No frills Indian restaurant. I use to live a stones throw from this place. Was my go to place for Indian food in Munich. Since then there have been more Indian restaurants so I can’t say how this compares. The restaurant changed hands 4 years ago. The food under the new management seems to have improved a little.

Ordered and basically didn’t receive any food (see picture). When we called them they were super unfriendly and hung up on us. Seems like they didn’t properly close and we were left with no food and sauce everywhere Never again.

Good chef very good food in Munich

An unassuming but good restaurant. It gets quite warm inside quickly, as the tables are close to the kitchen, but the food is fantastic and unbeatable value for money. A definite recommendation!

Well as shown in the Bill we ordered 2 Naans and 1 Roti and we got only 1 Naan and 1 Roti. And looks like they don't know how to make either of them. Both were partially cooked. Never ordering from there again. They have missed things in my order before as well.

I tried their new Sunday Combo Ambur Biriyani with 2ps Chicken 65.That was something special. I could really cherish that taste during the college days deep fried chicken with Biriyani. Its worth trying. Especially the new Manager Subin was really friendly and I would go again there. Thomas

Indian mango - the best Indian restaurant in Munich has gone above 5 stars by introducing the ambur biryani combo with chicken kebab - authentic Indian food at its best!!! At unbeatable prices!!! When I ordered, my two naan weren't included. The chicken was very tough.

The Indian food here is delicious. The boss is very enthusiastic in service. I tried 3 kinds of curry, all of which were very good. The butter curry chicken is especially worth recommending.

We ordered brunch at 12:00.. the plate contains pulao, vada, masaladossa, sweet and coffee.. enough quantity and delicious

The staff was unfriendly, gave us too little bread, and refused to give us more. We didn't get any fresh water; it was just tap water. The food wasn't filling. The restroom was very uncomfortable and not very attractive.

It's a pity that the waiting time is long and customers don't always get their food on time.

I spontaneously stopped by with my boyfriend today and I have to say I was very impressed! I often go to Indian food, but there was something here that I haven't seen anywhere else! A mango and coconut curry soup! Absolutely delicious! Very refreshing and fruity! The food came very quickly, the server was really nice, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We sat outside, and despite it being busy, we were able to eat and chat in peace. My chicken korma was also really delicious; the sauce wasn't too runny, but rather creamy and full of flavor! The price was also reasonable! I can highly recommend this restaurant! I would come back!

The food quality was very bad, it smelled unpleasant, and the taste was also disappointing. We ordered paneer, and it was one of the worst we’ve ever had – it didn’t taste fresh at all.

If you like Indian food and the flair of the country, this is the right place for you. You have to head specifically for the small but cozy restaurant, otherwise you might just walk past it. As soon as you walk in, you notice that Indians also eat here. That means the food is authentic. The service was good, the Indian waiters were very nice. The restaurant is clean and somehow everything fits together. The guest area isn't particularly opulent, but we didn't expect it to be. We found a nice place. The food was great and we really enjoyed it too.

I ordered chicken biryani And they gave me rice and 3 pieces chicken . Biryanis looks just like simple rice mix with small gravy.

Would have loved to give a BIG ZERO. The restaurant has possibly the worst staff. To add to pain the food is below par. We are vegetarians and ordered paneer butter masala , dal makhni and naan. There were surprisingly chicken pieces in paneer butter masala. Upon protesting the waiter rudely told us to eat or leave. Our jaws dropped and were left flabbergasted. What is this kind of service? It’s such a shame the name “Indian” mango is defaming India itself by such service. Also to add the naan felt like an eraser that I was chewing. Just the most horrible experience ever

The ambience could be worked on, everything else was great

So, I went for lunch on 25th March 2025 in this restaurant and I ordered the veg thali for one person. They served below items in thali. The food quality was not so good. I am truly disappointed. 1. Chole--> too salty and served cold 2. Arhar dal--> OK, served lukewarm 3. Paneer--> ok , served lukewarm 4. Rice- ok served, served cold 5. Naan ok I believe indian Mango need to redefine the dining experience. For example, please visit Yogi Mahal in Gemering and try their lunch menu. From Soup in starter till desert in the end the overall dining pleasure will compel you to visit it again.

I'm correcting my review from my visit on September 3, 2020, from 6:43 p.m. to 7:43 p.m. The food and ambiance were okay. However, there are much better alternatives in Munich. Furthermore, I find it untenable to want to delete bad Google reviews. Therefore, I'm deducting another star because I don't recommend this service! Update August 2024: This review was attempted to be deleted due to "slander." I objected. Update March 2025: The restaurant is again attempting to delete this review due to "defamation." I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant -> one star. My experience with Indian Mango is the worst I've ever had with a restaurant!

I ordered a buy-one-get-one-free chicken masala from Uber Eats, but the experience was incredibly disappointing. The food was poorly cooked, with the chicken being undercooked and unappetizing. I had no choice but to throw everything away. I will never order from this place again. Attached receipt, these guys are trying to file a defamation. Instead focus on improving your food.

I really like the Indian style garlic chicken at Mango.It was not mentioned in menu list.But the chef Badrish made it very nicely with less oil and less spicy .Thanks again Rakeshji for such nice service.

Ordered from UberEats several times & love it! Always take the vegan dal dishes. The naan bread is also vegan (also rare). Dishes are very spicy (so if you can't tolerate spiciness, be careful, but perfect for us 😁👌🏼)
