Delicious food, were there again today, had the Tandoori Mix-Grill 4 course menu, simply delicious

a really delicious meal. Price performance was appropriate. I would come here again myself.

Good Indian restaurant. The food was very freshly prepared and extremely tasty. The chilly chicken in particular was a good choice. The other dishes were also without complaints. The food is kept warm by candles on small plates while you help yourself from the bowls. So you can take a lot of time. The lassi was okay, but I would recommend the mango lassi. We'll be back soon.

The food was delicious. The service was nice. However, in our opinion the price/performance ratio is not right. The dishes themselves are quite expensive, rice or other side dishes cost extra and there is no free starter, as is usual. There is also no Batura, which we have never experienced at an Indian restaurant.

A great restaurant! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food is incredibly delicious. The portions are just right and the food offers a lot of choice.

The food was good, the service was very attentive and friendly. It's true that the side dishes, such as rice, had to be paid extra, but the overall price was still okay, which just means that you get the side dish you want. So it's just well thought out, because not everyone likes rice. This food takes a lot of work and takes a long time to make, so the price is absolutely reasonable. If you like Indian food, you're in good hands here.

Yesterday we ate at the Indian City Grillhaus Leipzig before the concert at Geyserhaus. Courteous service, quick preparation with medium occupancy. Of the five Indian restaurants, I enjoyed it here the best. I can recommend No. 398 that Murg Pahado Ka. Chicken marinated in yogurt, cheese, egg and mint. I chose rice for this. Thanks to the team!

Delicious food and friendly service

Went on Saturday evening. Food came quickly and was very tasty. The Tandori was a good choice as a starter. The non-alcoholic cocktails were ok. All in all it was relaxed and we will be back. Reservations are not 100% necessary for 2 people.

Basically a good Indian restaurant, an example of my theory that in Leipzig the inconspicuous, not so chic restaurants outside the center are the better choice. Addendum July 24: However, things have taken a turn for the worse in the meantime. The dishes no longer contain rice as a side dish; this has to be ordered separately for a fee, which is an outrage. And then the waiters are quite fussy when it comes to tips. Which isn't really appropriate considering the mediocre service and long wait times.

Nice restaurant with lots of tasty Indian dishes.

Very friendly staff. Super delicious food. We had Tandori lamb and Tandori chicken with naan bread. The taste was simply great, the meat was super tender and the portion was really enough! If we are in Leipzig again, we would like to come again!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed here. We were told straight away at the beginning that cash payment was preferred. We were told this several times in the evening. We ordered two main courses and two side dishes. Unfortunately, the main course here only contains sauce and meat. You have to order rice or bread additionally. So in the end we ended up with two main courses plus a side dish at €45 (without drinks). This is more expensive than in the city center. The sauce was very lightly seasoned and to top it off there were also frozen vegetables in it. My husband's ginger ale was well stretched, it looked like water and ultimately tasted like it. We cannot recommend the restaurant.

We reserved a table at short notice directly via Google, which worked perfectly. We were already expected at the door and greeted in a friendly manner. The staff was friendly and attentive all the time. The food was very tasty and came quickly. Overall the prices were reasonable. We'll definitely come back.

We were looking for a quick lunch during a training session. When we entered the restaurant, which was still sweeping and vacuuming at 12 p.m., we were assured that we could also take food with us. I wanted a children's portion. I was denied this because I was told I wasn't a child. There was a board outside with the lunch menu. I ultimately chose a dish from that. The price after waiting for over 30 minutes was €11.50, even though the lunch menu said €6.90. It's a shame...the food was quite good. The service unfortunately.

Food was okay in terms of taste. However, 2 tables were occupied and we still got the wrong order twice. Unfortunately, the preparation of each order also took a lot of time. The naan bread was actually soaked in fat, which unfortunately we didn't like. Price-performance unfortunately not justified. Were a little disappointed.

We were in Leipzig for 5 days and it was the tastiest here 😃 I can't imagine eating such a delicious Indian dish anywhere else. Especially butter chicken. Can't be compared with ready meals, so creamy but so spicy at the same time, I will never forget the sauce ✌️

The Indian City Grillhaus Leipzig is absolutely fantastic! The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is authentic and welcoming. The food is to die for – the curries and lamb in particular are to die for. Highly recommended for all Indian cuisine lovers. Five stars, without question!

Price performance ratio is a dream here. Service was great and everyone was really very friendly. The food was on top. So again and again.

Never again! Some of the dishes tasted quite bland. The price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. For a dish with 6 chicken cubes €17.90, otherwise there was only the cheapest vegetable trimmings. And then you are asked to pay extra for each side dish. So you can quickly get to €22-24 for a main course, which I couldn't get enough of. There are much better Indian restaurants there.

The Indian restaurant was an excellent choice! The service was first class and the waiter was very friendly. The menu offered a diverse selection of authentic Indian dishes and drinks that were deliciously prepared. Everyone really enjoyed the food and I can only recommend the restaurant. Compared to some other Indian restaurants, I find it to be excellent value for money.

Ein seltsames Restaurant. Beim hereinkommen wurden wir sofort nach oben geführt, obwohl unten viel Platz war und wir oben allein, was ein wenig trostlos wirkte. Unten wollte man offenbar ungestört sein? Getränke gut, ein Vorspeisenteller kam entgegen aller Erwartung jedoch zu 100% aus der Friteuse. Die Hauptgerichte liegen deutlich über dem Preis, den man auch in besten Gegenden Süddeutschlands gewöhnt ist, was angesichts von Geschmack und Qualität keinesfalls gerechtfertigt war. Am meisten störte jedoch der Umstand, dass der Reis (in mäßiger Menge) extra zu Buche schlug, was das Gericht unverschämt teuer machte. Das empfanden wir insgesamt als schlecht versteckte Abzocke.

It was a great evening. We were a group of 8 people and everyone was completely satisfied. Definitely coming back.

The food is bombastic. There is a huge selection and everything tastes great. But you have to bring some time with you as the preparation takes a while. The prices are also rather high, but I think they are justified by the effort and quantity. All in all, a good restaurant with very friendly service.

Basically everything is wonderful. Food is very good. The staff is friendly. Only the price seemed a bit excessive to us. But we will still go there again and can recommend it without reservation.

The Indian City Grillhaus in Leipzig offers a mixed experience, resulting in an overall rating of three stars. First the positive: The building itself is very attractive from the outside. However, some aspects spoil the overall experience. Unfortunately, the service in the restaurant left a lot to be desired, it wasn't particularly attentive. We also had to wait quite a long time for our drinks. Another point of criticism concerns the atmosphere in the restaurant. The music downstairs was annoyingly loud and the bartender changed songs randomly which spoiled the mood. On the upper floor, the noise from the neighboring tables was clearly audible, which was also found to be annoying. The lighting ambience in the restaurant was also not particularly inviting. The food itself varied from dish to dish – from good to okay. Unfortunately, my chicken curry had a lot of fat on the sauce, which significantly reduced the enjoyment. Overall I give it three stars, but based on our experience we probably wouldn't eat there again.

We were the first guests on Saturday at 5 p.m. The portions were sufficiently large. “Spicy” was also spicy and still very tasty. friendly, young waiters

I was really surprised at how great Indian food can taste. A very nice, cozy restaurant with a great ambience and very friendly staff. Pre-order is required, the restaurant is busy - logical given the great food!!! The wait for our order seemed forever but it was totally worth it. At this point, big compliments to the kitchen again! You also have to try the cocktails ;-) We'd love to come back!

Hier schmeckt das Essen mal gut mal nicht gut. Wir standen des öfteres vor verschlossener Tür mit einem Hinweis daran, dass später geöffnet wird. Es ist immer recht kalt.

Diese Bewertung beruht auf meinen persönlichen Erfahrungen. Wir waren zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant, weil wir spontan Lust auf indisches Essen hatten. Das Essen ist absolut klasse war sehr lecker. Service war auch nett und zuvorkommend, leider ist das Ambiente sehr schmuddelig und renovierungsbedürftig..

3 Mittagsgerichte über das Restauranteigene System zur Abholung bestellt. Trotz Bestellbestätigung war zur gewählten Abholzeit nichts fertig, da offenbar das Gerät welches die Bestellungen weitergibt nicht angeschaltet war. Kann passieren. Mitgeteilt wurde mir das aber nur durch das Hochhalten des Gerätes um mir zu zeigen dass dieses offenbar nicht angeschaltet ist. Keine richtige Erklärung durch den Mitarbeiter. Ich sollte dann meine Bestellung erneut abgeben und in 20 Minuten wieder kommen. 20 Minuten später war auch alles bereit. Definitiv Pluspunkte dafür. Die einzigen Worte des recht maulfaulen Mitarbeitenden waren "Wäre gut wenn sie es passend hätten". Da ich es natürlich nicht genau passend hatte war ich also gezwungen ein Trinkgeld zu geben, welches ich aufgrund der verspäteten Essensbereitstellung eigentlich nicht geben wollte. Bezahlung ging auch nur in Bar. Das Essen war dann aber sehr lecker und überzeugend. Aufgrund des mangelnden Services werde ich allerdings so bald dort nicht wieder bestellen.

Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr leckeres Essen wofür sich der Preis auch lohnt. Wir saßen drinnen, es war zum Samstag Mittag sehr ruhig und die Wartezeiten waren auch sehr angenehm

Bester Adresse in der Stadt um indisch essen zu gehen !! Wir gehen nun schon seit Längerem ins Indian City Grillhaus und sind jedes Mal total zufrieden. Das Essen ist qualitativ hochwertig, super lecker und ist immer super schön angerichtet. Die Preise sind natürlich nicht gerade erschwinglich, aber dafür bekommt man hier richtig gutes Essen ! Zudem ist der Besitzer und die Bedienung immer super lieb und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl! Das Knoblauchnaanbrot ist hier übrigens der Hammer !

Zum ersten Mal heute Mittag mit Freunden beim Inder gewesen. Das Essen und die Atmosphäre war sehr schön und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Ich habe schon lange nicht soooo gut indisch gegessen. Die Gerichte sind großzügig und toll gewürzt. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Toiletten sind sauber. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Wir würden schnell und sehr zuvorkommend platziert. Ausgesprochen nettes Personal. Essen wurde zügig gebracht und ist wirklich lecker. Kommen gern mal wieder. Aktuell kann man nich mit Karte zahlen. Nur Barzahlung, aber eine Sparkasse ist in 200 Meter Entfernung.

Das Essen ist so unglaublich lecker. Der Service ist super lieb und aufmerksam. Beim Ambiente musste ich einen Stern abziehen, da es leider sehr unordentlich, manchmal nicht einladend und vielleicht ein bisschen muffig wirkt. Aber wir kommen trotzdem immer wieder gerne um die tollen Speisen zu genießen.

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommender Service. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker und heiß. Sehr Kinderfreundlich und für die kleinen gib’s auch Kinder Menüs. 1A Restaurant, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit einer ausgiebigen Speisekarte und einer super netten Bedienung! Alle Gerichte, die wir bis jetzt probiert haben, haben uns hervorragend geschmeckt. Der Schärfegrad kann individuell an jedes Bedürfnis angepasst werden, was ich als echten Vorteil eines indischen Restaurants sehe.

Durch Zufall bin ich auf das Indian City Grillhaus gestoßen und habe mir Chicken Mango bestellt. Das Chicken Mango bestand aus fünf kleine Fleischstücken, da hätte ich dann doch schon etwas mehr für den für eine indische Küche durchaus hohen Preis erwartet. Auch frische Mango habe ich da nicht gefunden, sondern eher eine pürierte Mangosauce. Der Service und die Freundlichkeit waren ansonsten in Ordnung.

Qualität ok, aber Lieferservice indiskutabel. Essen hat überwiegend geschmeckt, aber wenn es über 1 Stunde später kommt.... Einmal und nie wieder.

Mit großer Überraschung habe ich die arrogante Bewertung meines Vor-Vorgängers gelesen. Sind Sie Lehrer und haben Langeweile? Das Essen ist wirklich gut - ich habe gerade bestellt und bin begeistert. Die Küche kann wirklich was!
