Even as a vegan, I can only recommend the restaurant. Great food, great service and relaxed atmosphere.

Unfortunately the worst Indian food I've had so far. The rice was rather gritty. The naan was extremely dipped in fat and didn't rise at all. The ingredients didn't taste fresh and the taste of the sauce was more salty than tasty. Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed because we took a detour on the way home and now I have a rather unpleasant taste in my mouth. At least I was full and the place is nicely decorated. I had the lamb from the lunch special.

The waiting time for delivery was long. The food was okay. The korma lacked creamy-ness and way too many lumps in the sauce. The samosa was dry and seemed like old meat. The naan too thick but the garlic on the naan was good.

Alo Palak and also the spicy lentil soup beforehand were very tasty and rich!

Chicken super tender; Curry well seasoned. I'll be back. Even after today's visit for lunch in April 2024, I can only confirm this relatively good rating. Recommended. The Alster was also well chilled. Friendly service.

It was always my favorite restaurant but unfortunately the second time I ordered on Lieferando, the food was inedible, cold and everything was full of terrible oil. When we were shopping and eating on site last Saturday, the boss and an employee argued and had something to do with it The delivery person was right in saying that the food didn't taste good

Yesterday we went to the Tandori Haus restaurant again and have known it for a long time from when it was on the Lister Meile! As usual, the food was really tasty and very fresh, and the wishes regarding the level of spiciness were also taken into account and implemented exactly as ordered! The service was super attentive and really nice and friendly…so a clear recommendation for the Tandori Haus and thank you for the lovely evening

Welcoming and friendly staff. Decor as you would expect from an Indian restaurant. We had a nice dinner. I had butter chicken and my partner a mixed grill tandoori with rice. They were large portions and we also ordered naan bread and another fried variant. And all that for a reasonable price.

I actually wanted to order the thali menu for lunch, but discovered that it had shrunk and become more expensive. So I took the Chicken Biryani lunch menu with starter (a lentil and potato soup) and dessert (a small scoop of gulab jamun). The shop was empty except for one couple and the waiter often didn't understand me due to the language barrier. Overall, I felt rather uncomfortable during my stay there. The food itself was okay and the portion of biryani was plentiful and a bit spicy. Unfortunately, the promised raita dip only arrived when I was almost finished eating and I had to discuss the dessert promised in the menu with the waiter. Addendum: I was there again with a friend and again ordering was a bit difficult, but the free papadum chip was very tasty and the mango lassi was also homemade. The Chicken Madras was not as spicy as feared while the Tandoori Chicken Tikka was a bit hot in the mouth in mild. Overall, both were really tasty and recommended.

The delivery took almost 2 hours, the food was cold. Then came a slice of bread (with 3 dishes ordered) with FERMENTED/SPAINED green sauce, luckily you could immediately smell that it was bad. You can eat, but the lentils were beans and the portions were very small. Unfortunately I can't judge the salad as it didn't look visually appealing. Price performance: underground Never again!!!

Wir (mein Bruder und ich) hatten Silvester dort gegessen und Chicken Saag, beziehungsweise Chicken Madras gegessen zusammen mit Tandoori Chapatti (eine Art Fladenbrot). Das Essen war großartig. Beides war eine Art Ragout, das zusammen mit Reis serviert wurde. Die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Menge war richtig. Der Preis war (meiner Meinung nach) günstig!

Wir haben an einem Dienstag eine Firmenbestellung aufgegeben. Herr Sahi hat die Bestellung an seinem freien Tag trotzdem hergerichtet. Der Service ist demnach mehr als gut. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Vielen lieben Dank für Ihre Mühe. Wir freuen uns, dass es Sie in Hannover gibt. Reichen Segen für das neue Jahr 2024 !

Food was amazing, great service, the owner was really kind he also offered extra food.

Das Tandoori Haus bietet indische und pakistanische Küche mit einer großen Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten. Die Präsentation und die Portionsgrößen der Gerichte sind gut gewählt. Samosa, Chicken Madras, Butter Chicken und Malai Kofta waren teilweise anders zubereitet und gewürzt als üblich, aber geschmacklich gut. Das Naanbrot war nicht weich, eher leicht knusprig und leider zu wenig Knoblauchgeschmack. Der Kellner war bemüht, aber offensichtlich etwas überfordert. Das Ambiente bietet orientalisches Flair, ist aber nicht überladen, mit leiser Musik im Hintergrund angenehm und nicht zu laut. Parken an der Hauptstraße kann schwierig sein, aber die Bahnhaltestelle ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt.

Danke für den schönen Abend. Das Essen war super lecker und der Service sehr herzlich. Mit der Bahn oder Rad super zu erreichen, nur Parkmöglichkeiten sind abends an der Podbi nur mit Fußweg zu ergattern. Liebe Grüße ✌️

Sehr nette Bedienung und das Lammcurry war ausgezeichnet, die Vorspeise Naan Brot mit Knoblauch und Joghurt passten hervorragend dazu.

I enjoyed lunch (with offer) at there today. I had Lamb Vindaloo and MangoLassie. It was so tasty. If you are craving for the pungent spicy dish in winter, this is a must try. The place is calm and the service is also good. Bon Appetite!

Außergewöhnlich leckeres Essen und liebes Personal

Das Essen war lecker und reichlich. Das war es aber auch schon. Das Ambiente hat eher etwas von einem Imbiss. Der Service war nett, aber etwas überfordert. Ständig wurde bei der Getränkebestellung etwas vergessen und trotz Nachfrage musste mehrfach erinnert werden. Ein bestellter Cappuccino konnte gar nicht erst gebracht werden, da die Maschine angeblich kalt war und man nicht wisse, wie lange das aufheizen dauert. Stattdessen würde ein Indischer Tee angeboten, der sich als heißes Wasser mit leichter Gewürznote entpuppte. Leider ungenießbar. Alles in allem würde ich dort nicht wieder Essen gehen.

Ein kleines aber feines indisches Restaurant. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kellner war sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war köstlich und wurde in einem heißem Pfännchen serviert. Das Indische Bier dazu kann ich nur empfehlen. Zum Abschluss haben wir uns den indischen Rum 🥃 gegönnt. Seeeehr aromatisch und bekömmlich.

Authentische Küche, super netter & zuvorkommender Service -- was will man mehr?!

Das ganze vegetarische Menü war wie ein Fest, exotisch für mich und köstlich. Ich mag die Gewürze, die Kostbarkeit der einzelnen Gerichte und die gutmütige Art der Bedienung. Um mich saßen zudem Konnaisseure, die schon nach dieser Yogurthcrème oder fritiertem Knoblauch fragten. Ich denke an bestimmten Speisen könnte ich ebenso süchtig werden wie sie. Die Platte allerdings war für den Anfang wie geschaffen. Ich hatte das Gefühl als Mensch besonders pfleglich aufgenommen zu werden, was in der deutschen Gastrokultur selten der Fall ist. Mir sagte der Chef: "Genießen Sie es", letztlich zum Abschied "Bleiben Sie gesund. Und kommen Sie uns bald wieder besuchen." Was will man mehr, um ein Wochenende geruhsam zu beginnen. Ich saß sehr gemütlich zwischen geschnitzten Stühlen, hörte rhythmische Musik und schaute aufs Taj Mahal. Es gab echte Rosen auf dem Tisch, was mich sehr gefreut hat.
