India Haus Restaurant Zehlendorf Wannsee in Berlin

Was doing a cycle around Wannsee and suddenly felt like having some Indian food for lunch. Dropped by here and tried their Chicken Masala. It was really flavoursome and generous portions with basmati rice and salad. Filled me up unlike other restaurants. Will definitely come back and try their other dishes.

My family and I have been regular customers here for over 10 years and have always enjoyed coming here. I was just having lunch here with my mother on the terrace. Suddenly we were harassed by another guest (female, drug junkie, slightly drunk). I thought at first. The lady was lost and would leave straight away. But apparently they want people like that as guests there now. The behavior was aggressive and transgressive. The restaurant had no view of it. The good mood and nice atmosphere were gone immediately. We left before the food was ready. It was still cashed in and there was no apology. We are very disappointed and will never come back!

The food at India Haus was super delicious! I had the chicken curry – very flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The waiters were consistently friendly and attentive. All around a great experience – I’d love to come back!

After our Fook Lam Mun closed we needed an alternative. We definitely found these in the India House. Tikka was good, could have been spicier.

Good Indian cuisine, starters the classics are well done. Vegetable soup was delicious. Lamb very tasty. Chickpeas were also very good. Service very friendly and attentive. would love to come back!

Is a local favourite of ours. Been several times for dinner and the lunch special, as well as a couple of takeaways. Always awesome food and impeccable service. They are family friendly - our baby has never had problems in the stroller with us - but there didn't seem to be a changing table. Plenty of properly spiced dishes for fans of traditional or spicy Indian. Interior a little dated but clean and well laid-out, also outdoor seating available. Highly recommend the India Haus Platter

The food is super delicious. Maybe a bit overpriced, but it's also in the middle of Wannsee, what do you expect... Staff is very attentive and friendly. The starter salad is amazing! And butter chicken is also highly recommended.

The chicken was tender and delicious and the side dishes were rice and sauce. I can recommend it. Also within the price range. The service was very friendly but a bit difficult to understand. The restaurant has more of a German tavern feel, but not that important.

A nice, rather inexpensive restaurant run by Indians. The food is tasty, large portions, before eating there is an appetizer of bread with dips, and each dish is served with basmati rice and a small, simple salad. Attentive and friendly service. Large selection of Indian dishes.

I've been to a number of Indian restaurants several times and here 4-5 times. For me and my family it's really one of the best Indian restaurants in Berlin. The dishes are all fresh and prepared to the highest quality! People are happy to spend money on a visit to a restaurant because we go home more than satisfied afterwards. really great! has never been disappointed! and not really expensive either! the chef is in the right place ♥️👌🏼

Great service and super friendly service. The atmosphere is traditional and the place is clean. Typical Indian food with unfortunately a bit too many flavors in some dishes. But consistently very good price-performance ratio. Always happy again.

The main course chicken masala was great, my wife's malai kofta was also very good, we didn't need the salad beforehand with ready-made sauce, service was friendly, everything was ok

Eines unser Stammrestaurants in Wannsee. Immer lecker, immer sehr reichhaltige Portionen, immer sehr freundliches Personal. Kinder sind willkommen.

Der Inder hat sehr gut zubereitete Speisen und zählt zu den besten indischen Restaurants. Vorsicht aber mit dem Parkplatz direkt beim Edeka. Man darf nur 60 Minuten parken. Danach kostet es 30 Euro. Videoüberwachung!

Sehr nette Menschen vor Ort, die Portionen sind sehr üppig! Die Preise waren immer sehr niedrig, sind aber, wenn auch spät, durch die Ukrainekrise etwas angestiegen und damit wieder auf Normalniveau. Abholung ist jederzeit möglich und man wir auch noch um 22.30 Uhr sehr nett bedient. Vorspeise: Der Salat wirkt frisch und das Dressing ist sehr lecker Hauptspeise: TOP! sehr gut gewürzt (nicht scharf!)

Dieses Restaurant war wirklich eine positive Überraschung. Die Bedienung kompetent und freundlich und das Essen war sehr gut. Es war überhaupt kein Problem unsere Wünsche zu berücksichtigen.

Traumhaftes Essen, frische Champignons in Joghurt-Safransauce sehr raffiniert und superlecker, Chicken Tikka herrlich, butterzart. Dazu ein sehr netter Service. Sehr empfehlenswert!!

Haben über Gutschein 2für1 gegessen war sehr unkompliziert. Hatten einen schönen Platz auf der Terrasse. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Essen war auch sehr lecker und gut portioniert. Preis Leistung sehr gut.

Leider hat der Kellner meine Bestellung missverstanden und mir das falsche Gericht gebracht- Ich hatte es zu spät bemerkt. Kann passieren! Ein zweites Mal würde ich wahrscheinlich nicht hingehen. Vor allen zu Stoßzeiten dürfte es dort eng und laut werden

Essen schmeckt zwar in Ordnung, ist aber nicht sehr authentisch indisch. Vermutlich eher an die Anwohner in der Gegend angepasst. Eine Karte oder Auswahl mit authentischen Rezepten wäre wünschenswert, damit man nicht gezwungen wird die eingedeutschten Rezepte zu genießen.

Mittags Menü nach einer langen Radtour. Super nette Bedienung und sehr leckeres Essen. Wenn man hinten durch das Gartentor reinkommt, kann man das Rad mit auf die Terrasse nehmen. Und aufladen durfte ich mein E-Bike auch.

Super leckeres Essen in gemütlichem Ambiente und freundlicher Service, sehr zu empfehlen.

Fad und geschmacklos. Das Essen als authentisch zu bezeichnen ist sehr weit hergeholt. Gerichte mit der Anmerkung "scharf" weisen nichteinmal den Ansatz von Schärfe auf! Große Enttäuschung👎 Die einzigen die sich hier wohlfühlen werden sind die ganzen Almans mit Abwesenheit von Geschmacksknospen.

Noch nie aß ich so gut zubereitetes Hühnerfleisch. Im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants längere Wartezeiten, dafür ist das Essen aber um Längen besser.

Hier gibt es das typisch indische, leckere Essen. Die Qualität der Speisen ist sehr hoch, die Menschen sind außerordentlich freundlich und man kann im Sommer draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen. Sonderwünsche werden gerne erfüllt. Montags bis freitags gibt es ein Mittagsangebot. Was will man mehr. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

We really enjoyed the food and the service. The tandoori chicken was amazing. The service was very pleasant. Definitely good into our recommendation list. Side note : the salad on the side is the only non authentic Indian dish , maybe replace it or just remove it.

Sehr schmackhaftes Essen. Preis/Leistung ist top. Wir waren total zufrieden und satt. Kleiner Minuspunkt der Beilagensalat. Da hätte ich mir was indisch angehauchtes gewünscht und nicht diesen Standardeisbergsalat.

Bester Inder und Wannsee und Umgebung. Alle Speisen werden auch vegan zubereitet.

Das beste indische Restaurant in ganz Berlin!!! Wir haben schon viele ausprobiert, aber aus unserer Sicht gibt es kein besseres.

Eigentlich waren wir hier früher gerne, aber jetzt warten wir seit über 40 Minuten auf eine Vorspeise und nach 50 Minuten ist noch keine Hauptspeise da. Wir leiden hier richtig :( angeblich wird der Lieferservice priorisiert, das kann doch nicht sein. Tisch auf 7, essen nach 8. Management ist komplett schlecht. Das Essen ist gut, für uns etwas zu scharf (mit Joghurt geht’s aber in vegan dann nicht), der Service nett.

Das indische Essen war echt gut. Leider keinen Wickeltisch auf dem Klo und etwas insgesamt etwas kalt in dem Laden. 🥶

Es war wieder mal ein wunderbarer Abend! Das Team ist sehr Gastfreundlich, aufmerksam und man hat das Gefühl sehr willkommen zu sein. Sonderwünsche sind gar kein Problem, es wird immer eine Lösung gefunden. GEHEIMTIPP VON MIR: Wer den originalen Geschmack erleben möchte muss einfach danach fragen! Kurz gesagt: Wegen allem reisen wir, seit Jahren, gern von Hamburg aus an um dieses Erlebnis immer wieder aufs neue erleben zu dürfen.
