The pork knuckle sandwich (30 Euros?) with potato dumplings, & sauerkraut was very good. The hamburger (19 Euros) was good, but for that price should have included fries. The fish ‘n chips (21 Euros) was decent and probably the best deal, but the pork knuckle plate looked pretty good and was very popular.

Had a team meal here, food was generally good, but the menu and staff did not clearly know what allergens, namely Gluten was in the food. Dishes were declared Gluten-free but could not be given my digestive response to the meal. Service was mediocre and we were not attended for long periods, seems only few table staff were working but many service staff bringing out orders. But we enjoyed ourselves, the beer selection was interesting and meals nice, with a good atmosphere especially outside in the warm summer weather. It was more expensive than the experience or service warranted and I feel you get better value elsewhere in the city but if your particular interest is the beer and atmosphere it is worth visiting in my opinion.

The old menu offered burgers for a euro less than now, including fries. Now you have to order the fries separately and, of course, pay extra🤷🏼‍♂️🙄 That's how it works, of course😅👎🏼 Maybe you can do that with tourists...

The motto here seems to be "cash in and don't invest!" The outdoor area is dirty and littered with trash. Cigarette butts and other garbage are everywhere. And that definitely doesn't happen in one day. The restrooms are also dirty and partially damaged. The prices are high, partly due to the location. So please put some love and money into it again. Now for the positives. The beer is tasty! The food looks good. We had dessert. It was delicious. And the service is friendly!

We ordered a fruity alcoholic drink... a sealed can was placed on the table. This drink, "Maelt," wasn't our taste. The "Helle" was very good, though!

A very nice restaurant belonging to the Lemke Brewery, with indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the cheesecake with whiskey plums and vanilla ice cream. For €11, my expectations were very high (the price level is generally quite high). To my surprise, I was pleasantly surprised. The cheesecake was modern, with a crispy base and a hint of speculatius. The whiskey was very well integrated into the plums and had a subtle, complementary effect without dominating the dish. The vanilla ice cream was also very high quality. The components harmonized wonderfully with each other and made this unassuming dish extremely exciting. Tasting the three ingredients in different proportions gave the dish a long-lasting sense of suspense. The temperatures were very well coordinated. The service was very friendly and prompt. Card payments are accepted. Suggestion for improvement: In the restroom, used paper towels were already overflowing from the bucket. The experience could be improved further here.

I'm personally very disappointed because the food simply didn't live up to the price. 32.60 for a burger with fries and a beer. The fries were very dry and the staff never came to you, which meant you couldn't order more drinks. In the end, the waiter was completely overwhelmed, having to check out all the customers on his own. A colleague ate two sausages. For €20, they weren't even cooked all the way through.

The boss is rude and rips people off. Tipping isn't mandatory in Germany, yet they still demand at least 10%. Absolutely outrageous. Plus, there are long wait times, and you often have to ask for a wait before things get done properly. I don't recommend it 👎🏼👎🏼

To be fair, the beer and food is good. The service is unacceptable. We were enjoying our left beers, one waiter came to clean the table. It was the first time I asked for bill. He said his friend will come soon. Few minutes later, nobody came. I asked another waiter to pay the bill. He replied ok. I saw him checked others and cleaned tables and waited new guests. When he passed by, I asked again. Still, no one came. I had to come to him to ask did they want us to pay the bill? He replied: he was in charge of another area which I can understand. BUT he then said: you asked me three times in ONE MINUTE!!! Please, don't say things out of your mouth without checking? Would you being racist straight away!!! Can u checked others bill, cleaned two tables and welcomed 15 people and gave them menus within one minute???Or u just check your surveillance cameras or ask your boss to hire more people!

Quite a nice location when visiting Alexanderplatz. Food is very good, offers pairings with beer, off course I’m in Germany, nice experience, Food is very good. Ordered BBQ combo for 2, meats were perfectly cooked and a Tuscan style salad with a delicious grilled goat cheese. Lacks service and personnel is not jolly nor friendly.

Cheeseburger samt Pommes sehr gut, das Pattie noch ganz leicht rosa, schönes Brioche-Burgerbrötchen, gute Pommes. Die hauseigenen Biersorten sind ebenfalls sehr lecker. Service war flott und freundlich, alles gut. Fazit: Empfehlenswert!

As a Berliner you don't expect much from the gastronomy around the Alex, other than tourist traps. We were completely wrong about making beer. 1. The food (ribs, burgers, spinach dumplings, steak) was consistently impeccable. The steak was cooked to perfection, the ribs were tender and juicy. The burgers were medium rare as ordered. The only point of criticism: everything was relatively expensive. 2. The beer offered was also very tasty 3. The service was excellent. Here, too, we didn't have high expectations, but we were even more surprised. ALL waiters were extremely friendly, courteous and always smiling. Orders were taken quickly and repeat orders were repeatedly requested. Everything came quickly. 4. Ambience: typical but tasteful brewery atmosphere. In summary, worth a recommendation for simple but tasty, unfortunately expensive food in a casual atmosphere, great if you are a few more people. Reservation possible online.

Unfortunately, we were unable to understand the many positive reviews. Our visit was overall disappointing. The service left a lot to be desired - the waiter seemed unmotivated and not very friendly, which had a noticeable effect on the atmosphere. The placement on the terrace was almost unbearable in full sunlight without any sun protection. The food was okay, but by no means outstanding. We had the BBQ platter for €60 which did not meet our expectations in terms of taste and portion size. The dishes were rather blandly seasoned and overall too manageable for two people. Even smaller details such as the drink were not consistent - the Spezi, for example, was mixed unbalanced, with a significantly too high proportion of Fanta. In addition, simple requests for changes, such as a different side salad, incur an additional charge of €1.50, which we found to be unaccommodating. Overall, our visit was unfortunately disappointing, both in terms of food and service.

Meat Feast 🍖 and great tasting veg burgers. Great selection of beers, and suggested pairings. Everything was great here. Loved the place.

We ate a single burger with fries and spareribs (pork) with fries and coleslaw. The spareribs were really tender, but unfortunately drowned in a boring bbq sauce that completely took over the taste. The fries and burger were ok, but not more than that. Nice beer hook, but if you want red wine, there is only one option, but it tasted good in my opinion😊

You must come, eat and drink at this restaurant. Besides having a nice atmosphere, it has one of the best burgers i have had in my life. Also there are some delicious beer from the draft. Which is not hard to guess. Has a clean toilet. Lastly, if you are one or two persons, you will definitely share a table which is okey. Enjoy!

We had dinner here on April 5, 2025. Super tasty 😋, great service. So good that we decided to come back straight away on April 6th, 2025. And again, delicious beer, delicious food and the service is simply great.

I've never had to wait so long for a beer. There were 6 of us and we were able to watch the counter. The service staff spoke more English than German. Beer itself was good.

I absolutely cannot understand the positive reviews about this particular waiter. He wasn't friendly, but rather irritated. I wanted a 0.3L shandy, as stated on the menu. He told me that wasn't possible, namely only in the 0.5L size, because the menu was "wrong." So, while I was paying for the large size, I saw how many other tables were drinking beer from 0.3L glasses. So why isn't this possible with a shandy? Before I paid with my card, he literally asked if I wanted to tip the service. What kind of service? I find it a bit cheeky to ask. The shandy itself tasted quite good, but it was a bit too bitter. The West Coast IPA was significantly too bitter, so it was no longer enjoyable, and my partner often drinks beers of this type. The price is also high: a 0.5L shandy costs €6.10.

Friendly service. Good beer. There was hardly any finger food, except for fries. Unfortunately, our fries weren't fresh. There are main courses that look good. But we weren't very hungry.
