IL Timone Cucina Italiana in Beilngries

Atemberaubende Aussicht, aber unbedingt die Öffnungszeiten der Küche beachten! Die Terrasse des Il Timone ist einfach fantastisch – sie liegt direkt am Wasser und bietet einen der schönsten Ausblicke der Gegend. Der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen. Leider kamen wir an einem Nachmittag an, als die Küche keine kompletten Mahlzeiten servierte. Das Personal war dennoch sehr freundlich, und wir konnten bei leckeren Drinks die Aussicht genießen. Die Speisekarte sieht unglaublich aus, daher kommen wir beim nächsten Mal ganz bestimmt wieder, wenn wir die regulären Öffnungszeiten zum Abendessen haben!

Pizza bestellt, musste abgeholt werden, kartenzahlung erst ab 20€

Wir waren zu zweit und haben Pizza gegessen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch unsere "Sonderwünsche" wurden erfüllt. Die Pizzen waren fantastisch, so wie wir sie aus Italien kennen! Wir haben den Abend auf der Terrasse mit Blick aufs Wasser in vollen Zügen genossen!!! Schade, dass wir nur zum Urlaub dort waren.

Wa geht nie jemand ans Telefon wenn man reservieren oder Pizza abholen möchte einfach richtig unprofessionell.

Die Atmosphäre war sehr schön direkt am Yachthafen und das Essen war gut.

Sehr schönes italienisches Restaurant. Die Pizza war richtig lecker. Wir saßen draußen und wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Besonders toll war der Umgang mit unserem kleinen Kind – aufmerksam, herzlich und humorvoll. Essen, Ambiente und Service waren top. Wir kommen gerne wieder! 😊

Also wenn eine Nullpunkte-Bewertung möglich wäre hätte ich keinen vergeben aus folgenden Gründen: Wir haben 1,5 Stunden auf 3 Pizzen und ein Salat gewartet. Auf Nachfrage bei der Bedienung hat der Herr sich bemüht, wollte das mit dem Koch klären! Die Reaktion war, dass wir 3 Pizzen bekamen , 2 waren noch nicht richtig gebacken, bei der dritten Pizza hat die ganze Mitte gefehlt (hat ausgeschaut wie hingerotzt). Der Salat ist auf nachfragen noch gekommen. Die Pizzen waren geschmacksneutral, die Zutaten haben nach nichts geschmeckt. Die Weißweinschorle bestand fast ausschließlich aus Wasser, ein Wasserglas war schmutzig, wurde nach ca. 15. min kommentarlos ohne Entschuldigung ausgetauscht....! Die beiden Kellner haben sich bemüht aber das hat nicht gereicht. Auch wenn der Standort sehr schön ist, ist das keine Entschädigung für die ewige Wartezeiten und die lmA -Einstellung des Chefs. Die Bedienung hat gemeint, dass er versucht was zu regeln davon hab ich leider nichts gemerkt. Keine Entschuldigung, kein Preisnachlass, oder oder oder... Also wir können dieses Lokal nicht weiterempfehlen und werden es zukünftig meiden.

Spaghetti Frutti di Mare war sehr lecker. Auch die Pizza hervorragend. Die Lage direkt im Hafen ist besonders schön. Wenn der Kellner ab und zu nach uns geschaut hätte, hätten wir noch mehr umgesetzt. Er war aber sehr freundlich.

Schlechter geht es nicht… einfach nur Katastrophal. Essen war kalt. Und wir hatten die Haare vom Koch im Essen.

Ich habe online bestellt. Die Bestellung wurde zunächst angenommen, dann aber storniert, nachdem das Geld bereits abgebucht war. Es gab keinen Grund für die Stornierung. Das Restaurant reagiert nicht mehr auf meine Anrufe, hat meine Nummer blockiert und die Transaktion auf Eis gelegt.

Schon beim Betreten spürt man die herzliche, familiäre Atmosphäre, genau wie in einer echten italienischen Trattoria. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich, immer lächelnd und aufmerksam bis ins kleinste Detail, sodass man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Wer gut essen, entspannen und ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis genießen möchte, dem sei dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfohlen – 5 Sterne ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir waren gestern Abend mit Freunden da und das Essen war vorzüglich. Die Leute sind auch sehr nett und aufmerksam. Ambiente passt, die Gegend am neuen Kanal ist schön und die Preise sind jetzt nicht billig, aber es schmeckt so gut, dass es jeden Cent wert ist.

Einfach nur wunderschön, direkt am Main Donau Kanal gelegen. 🙏✨✨ Die Pizza ist echt richtig lecker, hatte Pizza Tonno mit Zwiebeln und die Bedienung sehr sehr nett freundlich. Vorallem nicht weit von der Benediktiner Abtei, mit dem Fahrrad zehn Minuten. War hier am ersten Sonntag im Januar 2026

Fantastischer Thunfisch, serviert auf einem Bett aus köstlichem Gemüse. Ein reichhaltiges Gericht, das alle Sterne verdient … der dazu gereichte Wein war ebenfalls hervorragend. Schade, dass ich nur selten dort essen kann, wenn ich es denn mal nach Deutschland schaffe.

Ausgezeichnete Lage, wunderschöne Aussicht, köstliches Essen und tierfreundlich. Wir lieben diesen Ort und können ihn uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Die guten Bewertungen können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Die Lage am Kanal ist schön und ruhig, wird aber leider nicht gut genutzt. Die Tische im Freien waren lieblos, keine Deko, Tischdecken etc. Es waren viele Flecken drauf. Der Service war leider sehr überfordert. Nur durch Zurufe und Handzeichen wurde man bedient. Daher hat alles länger gedauert. Das Essen kam nach ca. 1 Stunde. Die Pizza Meeresfrüchte war wenig belegt und es lagen drei alte, nicht genießbare Scampis darauf. Diese waren noch weiß, nicht einmal rot. Hier sollte man unbedingt darauf achten! Die Pizzasoße/Würzung und Teig waren gut. Sehr ärgerlich war auch der Aperol. Es wird ein Aperol verkauft, aber nur die Billigalternative ausgeschenkt. Das schmeckt man natürlich sofort! Teller nach dem Essen wurden nicht abgeräumt und standen sehr lange bis wir zahlen wollten. Die Rechnung lag bereits fertig vor, ohne dass der Service wusste, dass wir zahlen möchten. Es waren einige Dinge nicht in Ordnung, daher kommen wir nicht wieder. Schade.

Super schön gelegen am Hafen.Das Essen aber leider sehr einfach gehalten und teilweise wenig Geschmack.Terrasse sehr lieblos ohne Tischdecken. Der Ober macht halt seine Arbeit, aber auch nicht mehr.

The food was good. However, one chair at our table wasn't wiped. The service was poor. The restaurant wasn't full, and we had to wait more than 45 minutes for pizza and pasta. When we asked about the food delivery time after about 35 minutes, they simply asked for our table without a reasonable answer. They could have simply provided some proactive information in the meantime. Even when clearing the food, no one asked if it was good (the food was good). When paying, I pointed out again that they can approach guests proactively and that they can also ask if the food was good. Unfortunately, they only referred us to colleagues. A simple "I'm sorry" or "we'll do better next time" unfortunately didn't come. 😔

A truly great restaurant. A friendly family and excellent service. Beautiful views of the harbor and across the canal. The food is really good, from pizza to select fish dishes. We'd love to come back 😎

As all the comments here have already said, the staff is far too overwhelmed and stressed. Unfortunately, you can really tell by the vibe there... The food is really just okay... The prices are super fair, but for that, you really only get a completely normal pizza, which they say was okay, but nothing more.

Lovely Italian restaurant with an appealing, slightly Bavarian ambiance. Friendly service. The food was a bit disappointing this time, hence fewer stars than on our last visits: The bruschetta was a bit "sloppy," not as crispy as usual, but tasted OK. The lasagna had four or five layers of pasta at the bottom that were too soft, with barely any sauce between them, and the meat in the top layer was a bit stingy. I was missing a layer of gratinated cheese on top; a few small pieces of cheese were shaved on top. The tomato sauce was very tasty. The dish seemed a bit reheated. I hope this was an exception and not a general "turnaround."

A wonderful place to relax, with a spacious terrace right on the water, very friendly service, amazing pizzas and other delicious dishes, and well-maintained restrooms.

A friendly family business. The menu is clear and offers pizza and pasta dishes. The blackboards also list high-quality dishes like sea bass and sea bream (€28). Pizza and pasta are reasonably priced. It's beautifully located, right next to the marina.

Beautiful beer garden right on the canal. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. We sat for over an hour with empty glasses. The two waiters were simply busy with their phones. They only took the initial order and brought the food to the table. Then the service was over, and the phone took absolute priority. It's a shame, I would have definitely come more often...

We had a really good pizza, the crust was super tasty, and the beer garden with a view of the yacht club was very pleasant. The beer was a good temperature, i.e., not too cold 👍

Full of anticipation, we reserved a table for 7 p.m. Unfortunately, there wasn't a spot available for us. Once we got a table, we ordered right away, only to be told it would take about 40 minutes. After 1.5 hours, we still hadn't received our starter. The other guests had also been waiting for their food for at least 2 hours. After a quick inquiry, we were assured that our starter and main course would arrive in 7 minutes. Another 20 minutes later, after asking, we were informed that our pizza wasn't in the oven yet. We left after 2 hours without any food. What a shame!

A location with great potential right on the water – unfortunately, it's not being used with any love. We were here a year ago and thought it would be nice to return to spend a lovely Saturday evening on the terrace. The three waiters were all overwhelmed, and if you didn't say "excuse me" and raise your hand, you weren't asked if you wanted another drink – even if the empty glasses had been sitting in front of you for a while. This was also the case at the other tables. Many of the guests seemed dissatisfied. The tables and chairs are beyond old, there are no cushions to sit on, and you have to be careful not to hurt yourself. Overall, everything seemed very unloved. We had bruschetta as a starter, two slices of toast with tomatoes, arugula, and a cheap, far too sweet balsamic cream. After an hour, we politely asked for our food, and the waiter said we were the next table in the kitchen. After another 25 minutes, we went inside to ask for the bill. Instead of responding politely and perhaps apologizing, the agitated chef comes out of the kitchen and starts ranting. The waiters all around with embarrassed looks and words of apology. With several years of experience in the restaurant and service industry, I can only say that everyone was completely overwhelmed. This restaurant should change owners. We definitely won't be coming back. We didn't finish the second course and are now getting two pizzas to go from our regular Italian restaurant. What a shame about the evening.

If you want to have a nice evening, you should either bring a lot of time or go somewhere else!! It's such a shame about such a lovely restaurant in such a location. They could really make something of it, but this owner can't seem to get it right. We waited an hour and a half for a pizza, while other guests had already been waiting for over two hours. We were constantly put off and kept waiting. Unfriendly staff and completely overwhelmed. We left without eating anything.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. After waiting 1.5 hours, the pizza still hadn't arrived. Instead, we were repeatedly put off, with no clear indication of when the food would finally arrive. In the end, we left hungry and disappointed—without pizza. It's a real shame, because the ambiance would have been truly wonderful and promised a lovely evening. It's a real shame that the service didn't live up to that.

Recommended Italian restaurant with a nice atmosphere. We go there often and have never been disappointed. The food is good and plentiful, whether pizza or pasta. The salads are also highly recommended and come with very tasty panini.

Optimal ! We were here at Easter...we ate lamb that melted in your mouth! The restaurant team is very kind and welcoming, a wonderful place where you can spend alone or with family! Recommended! Congratulations guys👏❤️

"Hungry!!!, darling" "Come on, let's go to the Italian restaurant we went to last year - it was really good!" We went and it was sad and disappointing! Very unkempt location, dirty tablecloths, musty and yet we want to give the restaurant a chance. Ordered antipasti starter plate for 1850 and what arrived were 4 slices of tomato, half a ball of mozzarella with brown vinegar (no balsamic), lots of spicy salami (not fresh), pieces of cheese, some hard and discolored at the ends (no parmesan in one piece), ham drowned in oil. Main course Spaghetti Frutti di Mare - cold! I hate cold food and I don't pay for cold food! (25 minutes from starter to main course - the shop was empty...). The mussels were cold (brrr er!), the prawns were floury, rancid and cold (again br er!!!) and then the desire for a delicious Italian meal was over. Guys!!!!!!!!!, what's wrong with you???? Where are your own demands? Paid €32.60. We will no longer be your guests. As for me personally: I am a food lover and enjoy cooking well. It hurts me a lot when you have to throw away food; when animals and pasta don't have to die for ANYTHING! Unfortunately, you lack the necessary respect for hygiene (there was still vomit in one of the urinals) and good food. Sorry!

My favorite Italian in Beilngries. Great food and in summer the most beautiful place on the terrace, right by the Beilngries harbor.

The food is perfect, from pasta to pizza and salad. Amazing. The staff is very polite and on the ball, and everything is prepared beautifully. We'll be back :)

After waiting for over 1 hour, still no food. There were 3 tables occupied. I had ordered an appetizer and it was delivered to another table. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. But I have to give it a star. Lieferando receives preferential treatment here. I wouldn't go here again.

I can't give a rating for the food. The four of us waited for an hour and then had to move on. There are three tables occupied in the restaurant! None of them received their food, but for Lieferando it was cooked and delivered! The people in the restaurant all had to wait. Unfortunately I can't give a good rating. Very disappointing when you wait for an hour and the restaurant is hardly full, not even the starter came.

Leider kann ich die Pizzeria nicht weiterempfehlen, obwohl die Lage sehr schön ist. Man wartet ewig auf das Essen, die Pizza ist sehr trocken.Das Lokal wartet auf Sauberkeit und Deko. Das Personal hat auch wenig Bock zum Arbeiten, unfreundlich und kaum Gäste.

We ate very well. Carpaccio and bruschetta very nicely presented and tasted very good. The porcini mushroom/truffle pizza and the pasta with porcini mushrooms were excellent. There is room for improvement in terms of ambience. Conclusion: Highly recommended.

We were there today for the first time and also the last time, my seafood was spoiled, the pizza was returned straight away. (We had to wait an hour for the pizza)

The atmosphere on the terrace right on the canal is beautiful. All the dishes at the tables around us looked great and we were extremely happy with what we ordered. The panini for starters in particular are highly recommended. Unfortunately it was not possible to order a small/children's pizza because, according to the service staff, there is only pizza in one size. In general, the quality of the service needs to be worked on. You can't speak of unfriendliness, but warmth also looks different. What was very irritating was that the pizza was served and the cold starter, which was ordered as the main course, came much later. So one had to eat and the other had to wait. We also sat for a long time with empty glasses and would certainly have had something to drink if we had had the opportunity to order. As a guest you have to be very attentive in order to be noticed by the staff

The restaurant is located directly on the RMD canal at Beilngries harbor. So you really can't have a much better atmosphere as a restaurant. Unfortunately, the place is pretty run down, unkempt and the conditions are unmotivated. The pizza was still very good. Much more could be done with this location with a little attention to detail. PS: If I already have flowers and hanging baskets, please give them a little water occasionally. And fairy lights that were installed 20 years ago and no longer work should either be repaired or dismantled immediately. Oh yes: And the dirty table should actually always be cleaned automatically and not only after being asked to do so!!

We just wanted a nice birthday dinner, unfortunately that wasn't possible. 2 x homemade pasta with porcini mushrooms with drinks. We then paid for the drinks and canceled the meal. You can't understand that after a wait of over 45 minutes for 2 x noodles you get an answer after asking, which still takes about 10 minutes. When we arrived the business was very manageable, it wasn't until later that the restaurant filled up. You should probably only eat pizza here, other foods are probably a challenge. Anyone who comes here needs enough time and patience, you can expect it to take 1 hour from the time you place your order The menu on the internet should be changed to that. It's a shame about the lost time, never again for us

If you don't want to be annoyed, please don't go there! Ambiance is very old. Seems a bit neglected. Rather dingy. Were there to eat. Unfortunately, this pizzaria has nothing to offer other than the great location. I told the service person at 2 p.m. that I would like to order a pizza to take away. She said yes...but she forgot to mention that there is only hot food until 2.30 p.m.! When another service worker (male) came, I politely asked for a pizza to take away. He replied somewhat arrogantly that the kitchen is closed until 5 p.m. So no chance of getting anything to take away. My girlfriend asked for iced coffee, it doesn't exist. A scoop of ice cream gives insight. He pointed snobbishly at the sign...Pizzaria...we are a pizzeria and not an ice cream parlor were his words...all in all, it's a shame. Were here once and never again. It's a shame for the great view. You could do something with the store! If there was interest. Sad.

Delicious pizza, crispy dough and with fresh herbs. 25 min wait for 1 pizza. Very nice location, unfortunately the terrace is unkempt and careless. Service was functional, not good and not bad.

Pizza is very tasty. When the weather is nice, the location on the canal is special. But that was it. I think the location is overpriced and overrated. The ambience is getting old and somehow everything is a bit carelessly furnished. The aperitif glass was dirty, the lasagne was cold, even on the second attempt. As I said: overall everything is a bit loveless.

Unfortunately, everything has changed for the worse. After waiting for more than an hour, a cold pizza arrived on the table and a carpaccio with salad. What was noticeable was that the entire staff was inside and that no one cared whether the guests had something to drink or whether someone wanted to order or not. The only group of Italians, however, was molested by three waitresses, while the other guests were ignored. The people sitting next to us also complained that after an hour of waiting there was still nothing on the table. It is completely incomprehensible why one has to behave so disrespectfully towards the guests in such a great place. The toilets were covered, no toilet paper available, no hand soap, no towels. So much ignorance can only mean that you are not wanted here. We definitely won't come here again!

Good food, excellent atmosphere. Nice bunny 🐰 visiting area. River scenery is quite nice too. Unfortunately this time service was a little bit slow, but finally we got our food and drinks.

The food was really good. As a starter, which was actually a main course, I had the Cesar salad with chicken, egg and pamesan. Then the tuna steak on vegetables and spinach. There were 8 of us and we all really enjoyed it. The employees responded to all special requests or questions and implemented everything possible. In terms of price, everything was within reasonable limits and the price-performance ratio was more than appropriate. If we didn't have such a long journey (Leipzig) 😁 we would definitely eat here more often. Thank you!

Nice place with a view of the canal. We would like to eat ice cream, unfortunately there is no ice cream at an Italian restaurant. This is unfortunately disappointing.

Ein Traum von Essen, die Pizzen sind wirklich gut , hatte eine mit Meeresfrüchten ,einfach echt spitze. Und die Nachspeise auch sehr lecker. Bei Gelegenheit komme ich ( wir ) sehr gerne wieder. Der Service ist auch 1 A Die Junge Bedienung ist auf zack und freundlich .

Pizza was great, the dough was very crispy, simply delicious, but the waiting time took a while, but we weren't alone either The new dessert and the lime liqueur are fantastic. And a nice, quiet place at the port of Beilngries, also nice to look at boats when one comes by. Good parking possibility, We will be back. We were there today, March 9th, 2024, everything was still perfect. The service is on the ball and very friendly. Very good pizzas, desserts all A1 and freshly prepared. I'll be back

We ordered pasta 4 cheese, spaghetti Napoli, 1x Pizza Hawai and 1x Pizza Salami (with extra salami) and I have to say: The pasta 4 cheese was okay in itself but the Napoli pasta was inedible, there were 9 chunks on the Pizza Hawai Annanas and on the salami pizza the salami was rather chewy.

Great atmosphere, there are better slices of pizza

When we called to make a reservation we were told we could just come. After we ordered, it took a good hour to serve the food, mind you, the restaurant was half full. The starter, bruschetta, was large, but unfortunately without any spices. The Mista salad, which was served after the main course, was similarly unloving. The highlight of our visit is the main course, which was brought to us after an hour. Carelessly topped, unseasoned, and at least as watery as the canal next door. Beilngries offers far better culinary options like this one.

Die Pizzaria liegt sehr schön und direkt neben dem Fluss. Die Vorspeise ( Bruschetta ) war echt mega lecker und schnell da. Aber die Wartezeit auf die Hauptgerichte war mit 1,5 Stunden viel zu lange und der Service war überfordert.

Gutes Essen , freundlicher Service, schöner Platz am Wasser

Direkt am Kanal gelegen, (Donau-Main). Freundliche entspannte Atmosphäre, man kann die Schiffe anschauen.

Diese Sommer haben wir 2 mal diese Lokal besucht. Wir sind super zufrieden mit Service, Pizza und Fish. Seit lange Zeit komme ich nicht wegen die vorherige Pechter.Jetz alles ist ganz anderes und kommen wir öfters diese Winter.

Spontan haben wir uns für diese Pizzeria entschieden. Essen war sehr lecker ... sowohl Pasta auch die Pizzen ... Salat kann ich leider nicht beurteilen An jenem Abend war nicht so viel los ... so dass der Service gut mitgekommen ist ... bedauerlicherweise musste wir versetzt essen was aber kein Problem war ... da einmal Pasta und Pizza bestellt worden ist ... Preisleistung lässt sich streiten. Ich persönlich finde die Pizzen und die Nudelgerichte etwas teuer ... Wir kommen gerne wieder

Sehr gut und das Essen war sehr lecker.

Hier ißt man wirklich sehr gut. Die Speisen sind frisch zubereitet und man merkt auch die Liebe zum Detail. Das Team um den jungen Inhaber gibt sein Bestes. Immer, wenn wir unsere Freunde des MYCA Altmühl besuchen, freuen wir uns schon während der Anfahrt auf dem Kanal auf das, was uns hier kulinarisch erwartet.

Schönes Ambiente schneller und aufmerksamer Service. Ich habe dort wolfsbarsch mit Gemüse und Rosmarinkartoffel gegessen. Es war ein Traum. Am Ende gabs noch ein Grappa aufs Haus. Eine weiterempfehlung und ein wiederkommen wird es auf jeden Fall geben

Pizza sehr lecker! Bester Hefeteig und gut belegt. Diese Bewertung bekommen nicht viele von mir. Ambiente (draußen) schön. Bedienung sehr nett.

Schön gelegenes Restaurant und auch gutes Essen - die Pizza hatte viel Belag. Aber die Wartezeit muss dringend verbessert werden. Fast 1,5h für zwei Pizzen ist nicht akzeptabel. Zudem wurde man nie nach Bestellwünschen gefragt oder darauf hingewiesen, dass es länger dauert. Es sollte mehr vegetarische Pastagerichte zur Auswahl geben.

Sehr schön gelegene Pizzeria. Kann nichts über das Essen sagen, aber die Lage ist wunderschön.

Wir waren wohl nicht erwünscht (als Fahrradfahrer), und wurden entsprechend behandelt. Preis-Leistung war viel zu teuer.

Sehr gutes Essen, die Pizza ist grandios und sehr groß. Die Salate sind auch sehr lecker und zu empfehlen. Die Lage direkt am Kanal ist sehr schön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Hatte dort eine Pizza Salami bestellt die wirklich sehr gut Geschmeckt hat. Leider waren meiner Meinung nach etwas wenig Salamistücke darauf. Der Teig und die Größe der Pizza waren aber wirklich TOP! Personal ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Es ist möglich dort über Lieferando zu bestellen. Ebenfalls gibt es sehr viele Parkplätze für Kunden. Gerne wieder!!

Eine Italienisches Restaurant am Beilngrieser Hafen, der Innenraum wie außen der Biergarten sind sehr groß. Hatten ein Radler sowie einen Cappuccino getrunken, dazu ein Gedicht von selbstgemachtes Tiramisu 🥧der Chefin gegessen. Wenn größer gewesen wäre, ich glaube wir hätten uns rein gelegt, sowas leckeres 😋😋😋😋😋 Kann nur sagen, hinfahren und probieren, machen außerdem auch nach andere leckere Italienische Speisen, Pizzas,🥘 Nudelgerichte und so vieles mehr...
