Hotel newly renovated, nice bathroom. But: the size of the closet is a joke. This is where the safe and minibar are located, and there is very little space for clothes. In addition, there are no drawers, so socks and underwear had to stay in the suitcase. The pillows are terrible! I had to crumple it up several times to get any support for my head and neck. I had neck pain...

We were amazed by the variety of the menu and the quality of the dishes. A must for foodies!

Very nicely located hotel right in the idyllic old town of Beilngries. From registration to check out, everything was very friendly and well organized. My room was very nicely decorated and clean, the bathroom was also clean and very nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet was really exceptionally good and left nothing to be desired. The restaurant and beer garden were very well attended and the selection of food and drinks here was also very good and of the best quality. In other words: I would love to come back and can only warmly recommend the Braugasthof Schattenhofer!

In the restaurant area you can sit comfortably and comfortably. The food was very good, the menu reads well and is tempting. The service is quick and friendly. The dining rooms are not too big. All in all, a very good place for a good dinner with friends and family.

The Schattenhofer hotel in Beilngries is amazing! The staff makes you feel welcomed and is always trying to please. My room was immaculant. It has become my place to go in Germany to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and relax.

Very nice old brewery and hotel building. Beautifully restored. Unfortunately, the tone in the kitchen is incredibly unpleasant. Cutlery is thrown around from the cleared plates and the chef shouts at his employees. The food was good and enjoyable. But we've eaten much better and cheaper in the region. Maybe we just had a bad day (the entire restaurant and the adjoining room were completely full). Probably won't go there again.

Technically, all rooms correspond to the first impression when you walk through the main entrance as a guest! I was there for dinner. A small brewery in the rear building invites you to visit. Beer tastes very full-bodied! Definitely try it.

For us it's always good for a glass of wine or beer after a walk. Ambience and staff nice. You are placed.

A very nice inn with a beautiful courtyard and beer garden and with a hotel. The rooms were very tastefully decorated, large shower and everything was clean. Dinner was a pleasure. But the breakfast was also great. On request, omelettes or fried eggs were freshly prepared. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The central location of the hotel is good, but this weekend there was an onion market, so we had to park outside and walk through the market with our luggage. There were parking spaces available behind the hotel, but they could only be accessed after 6 p.m. and the market started again at 10 a.m. the next morning. However, the employees print out a sign for us saying that we are hotel guests and can stay there. Otherwise the hotel is highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

Food is super tasty. Service is great. Everyone is served here, no matter where they come from. English-speaking guests are also warmly welcomed and served. Prices are reasonable. I'd love to come back.

Simply great! - The “Gasthof” is very comfortably furnished; the hotel (even if we didn't use it) makes an excellent impression. We had delicious homemade beer, pumpkin cream soup, Schäuferla and Obazda cordon bleu. Everything is of excellent quality and you can eat enough, even if you were really hungry. The service was friendly. - On the way to the model toilets, you pass the kitchen, which is partitioned off with glass panes and is a sight worth seeing. And all of this at an absolutely fair price.

Very nice restaurant with an interesting menu. The onion roast with roasted onions (finished product 😎) - that's not possible ☝️ - according to the waiter, the onions were homemade 🙄 - if that's the case then it's quite an art to get them done so badly 🤓 - the fried potatoes had nothing to do with fried potatoes ! The meat was well prepared but the basic quality of the meat was tasteless! For €34 you can ask for something different. ☝️The inn certainly deserves another visit but I will definitely order something else! I'm really sorry that I can't give a better rating at the moment 😇

The service is excellent. Everyone was very accommodating. What wasn't good were the mattresses in the beds. Unfortunately too hard. In the beer garden the cash starts at 10 p.m., which means it's closing time. But there are many other locations in the area. You can enjoy a great break there.

Great kitchen. great service. Despite many customers, we had our Schäuferle on our plate in less than 15 minutes. These were also absolutely delicious. Unreservedly recommended.

There were 13 of us, it was Sunday and the weather was nice, so there was a lot of activity. Almost all of us had ordered different dishes, but after a quarter of an hour everyone had their food in front of them. We were all impressed and the food was very good too. Highly recommended

Unfortunately, onion roast was very cold, but still tasted very tasty. The char trout we ordered was a salmon trout, but still good. Nice beer garden next door. On the whole I would go again

I absolutely loved this hotel! It is super beautiful, modern and rustic at the same time, super clean and there is a wonderful, cozy, authentic atmosphere. I had a single room and was blown away - the room was very spacious, with great furnishings, a large bathroom and a really cool rain shower (even if the shower cubicle itself was quite small). The service was also great - I stopped driving a few doors down because I couldn't find the parking space. A call to the hotel and the very friendly and helpful employee even came out onto the street to show me the way. Great stuff like that! My highlight was the breakfast - it was absolute madness - EXACTLY how I imagine a dream breakfast: in addition to sumptuous sausage and cheese cold cuts, there were lots of vegetables, fruit, cereal, cakes, various rolls and bread AND freshly made omelets AND FRESH pancakes 😍 . I felt super comfortable and will definitely come back with my husband. :)

We stayed at the Braugastgof Schattenhofer for one night on the way back from our vacation in Italy and were very satisfied overall. The premium double room we booked was modern and very spacious. The quality of the food and drinks in the restaurant, especially the beer from their own brewery, was excellent.

We were looking forward to good food in the beer garden after a busy morning at the flea market. Big disappointment. Fries and meat kebabs were too salty and the cheese patties were tasteless and cold. Way too expensive for a meal like this.

Great location in Beilngries. The beer garden is fantastic, the home-brewed beer is tasty. The food is excellent, was super fresh. The prices are completely OK. Service very friendly. Pure Bavarian hospitality.

We were welcomed very friendly by the hotel manager. Even though we arrived late, we were able to make a spontaneous reservation in the beer garden. The hotel is really beautiful and modern! We booked a “simple” double room and were surprised at how spacious and comfortable it was. This room is also completely modernized with a beautiful bathroom. The food is very good and the price is absolutely fair! Conclusion: we will definitely come back and are already annoyed that for us it is “just” a hotel on the way through.

We stayed there overnight on our bike tour. Our room was very large and modernly furnished. The bathroom was also quite large. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were very friendly, but they lacked a slight smile here and there. The breakfast buffet was outstanding in terms of selection/offer. The freshly prepared omelet is simply great. Here we were greeted very friendly and with a friendly smile by the staff!

This was our second time at Schattenhofer. The hotel was very nice the first time. This time we had a room that didn't face the street. It was quiet and very beautiful. The beds are great. All the employees were super nice, just like they were the first time. The criticism back then was the food. But a lot has happened here. No matter what we ordered, it was excellent. We didn't eat anywhere else. Price-performance was very good. We like to come back to this hotel again and again. It was just great.

We were guests in the restaurant, so I can't rate the rooms. Location is nice in the city. The beer garden is quietly located in an inner courtyard. The beer is delicious, unfortunately I received a Radler instead of a light one the first time. Otherwise the service was very attentive. Unfortunately the food was nothing. The spinach dumplings we had were too soft and tasted bland, and the Obazda Cordon Bleu also didn't taste particularly good. All in all it's only enough for 3 stars

For wheelchair users: main entrance small edge approx. 2 cm. Side entrance, Brauhof entrance, beer garden entrance completely barrier-free. Very well-equipped disabled toilet. Room: good maneuvering space, shower at ground level. But no grab bars on the shower and toilet. I have residual mobility = fine for me, just a little difficult. For everyone: Beautiful beer garden with self-service, in the courtyard with service. I found the food very good, value for money was great. Beer very tasty. Breakfast excellent, very varied and everything from savory to sweet and fresh egg dishes. (Only the coffee machine was very slow, if there are several people there for breakfast there is a traffic jam, I would prefer a pot of coffee - but that's complaining at a high level). Staff from reception, room service, waitress extremely customer-oriented, friendly, accommodating with good charisma. This deserves a special star. We really enjoyed our 4 days there

Very nice hotel, friendly and bright. And very good service. Our son had ordered a bouquet of flowers over the phone for Mother's Day; Despite the short notice, it worked and the manager of the house personally tried to get the bouquet on Saturday evening. My wife was very happy when the bouquet was in our room on Sunday. Thank you again!

We were there on Father's Day for the Weißwurst breakfast. Unfortunately the sausages were not edible and the pretzels were totally tough (I think from the day before). Additionally, the sausages were cold. After complaining, we were only given an additional pretzel. And all for 10 euros. It's a shame about that...

During my holiday week I ate there three times - and was thrilled every time - the menu is varied - everyone will find something, great value for money and the beer garden in the inner courtyard is really very nice. All dishes were delicious and the staff was very quick, friendly, attentive - there is nothing to complain about :-)
