Very nice restaurant with an interesting menu. The onion roast with roasted onions (finished product 😎) - that's not possible ☝️ - according to the waiter, the onions were homemade 🙄 - if that's the case then it's quite an art to get them done so badly 🤓 - the fried potatoes had nothing to do with fried potatoes ! The meat was well prepared but the basic quality of the meat was tasteless! For €34 you can ask for something different. ☝️The inn certainly deserves another visit but I will definitely order something else! I'm really sorry that I can't give a better rating at the moment 😇

The service is excellent. Everyone was very accommodating. What wasn't good were the mattresses in the beds. Unfortunately too hard. In the beer garden the cash starts at 10 p.m., which means it's closing time. But there are many other locations in the area. You can enjoy a great break there.

Great kitchen. great service. Despite many customers, we had our Schäuferle on our plate in less than 15 minutes. These were also absolutely delicious. Unreservedly recommended.

There were 13 of us, it was Sunday and the weather was nice, so there was a lot of activity. Almost all of us had ordered different dishes, but after a quarter of an hour everyone had their food in front of them. We were all impressed and the food was very good too. Highly recommended

Unfortunately, onion roast was very cold, but still tasted very tasty. The char trout we ordered was a salmon trout, but still good. Nice beer garden next door. On the whole I would go again

We stayed at the Braugastgof Schattenhofer for one night on the way back from our vacation in Italy and were very satisfied overall. The premium double room we booked was modern and very spacious. The quality of the food and drinks in the restaurant, especially the beer from their own brewery, was excellent.

I absolutely loved this hotel! It is super beautiful, modern and rustic at the same time, super clean and there is a wonderful, cozy, authentic atmosphere. I had a single room and was blown away - the room was very spacious, with great furnishings, a large bathroom and a really cool rain shower (even if the shower cubicle itself was quite small). The service was also great - I stopped driving a few doors down because I couldn't find the parking space. A call to the hotel and the very friendly and helpful employee even came out onto the street to show me the way. Great stuff like that! My highlight was the breakfast - it was absolute madness - EXACTLY how I imagine a dream breakfast: in addition to sumptuous sausage and cheese cold cuts, there were lots of vegetables, fruit, cereal, cakes, various rolls and bread AND freshly made omelets AND FRESH pancakes 😍 . I felt super comfortable and will definitely come back with my husband. :)

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms as we only had lunch. The food is definitely worth recommending and the beer is really tasty.

We were looking forward to good food in the beer garden after a busy morning at the flea market. Big disappointment. Fries and meat kebabs were too salty and the cheese patties were tasteless and cold. Way too expensive for a meal like this.

Great location in Beilngries. The beer garden is fantastic, the home-brewed beer is tasty. The food is excellent, was super fresh. The prices are completely OK. Service very friendly. Pure Bavarian hospitality.

We were welcomed very friendly by the hotel manager. Even though we arrived late, we were able to make a spontaneous reservation in the beer garden. The hotel is really beautiful and modern! We booked a “simple” double room and were surprised at how spacious and comfortable it was. This room is also completely modernized with a beautiful bathroom. The food is very good and the price is absolutely fair! Conclusion: we will definitely come back and are already annoyed that for us it is “just” a hotel on the way through.

We stayed there overnight on our bike tour. Our room was very large and modernly furnished. The bathroom was also quite large. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were very friendly, but they lacked a slight smile here and there. The breakfast buffet was outstanding in terms of selection/offer. The freshly prepared omelet is simply great. Here we were greeted very friendly and with a friendly smile by the staff!

This was our second time at Schattenhofer. The hotel was very nice the first time. This time we had a room that didn't face the street. It was quiet and very beautiful. The beds are great. All the employees were super nice, just like they were the first time. The criticism back then was the food. But a lot has happened here. No matter what we ordered, it was excellent. We didn't eat anywhere else. Price-performance was very good. We like to come back to this hotel again and again. It was just great.

Very nice brewery, very nice service, delicious food. And as a wheelchair user, you are happy about a toilet that is accessible to disabled people. We recommend.

We were guests in the restaurant, so I can't rate the rooms. Location is nice in the city. The beer garden is quietly located in an inner courtyard. The beer is delicious, unfortunately I received a Radler instead of a light one the first time. Otherwise the service was very attentive. Unfortunately the food was nothing. The spinach dumplings we had were too soft and tasted bland, and the Obazda Cordon Bleu also didn't taste particularly good. All in all it's only enough for 3 stars

For wheelchair users: main entrance small edge approx. 2 cm. Side entrance, Brauhof entrance, beer garden entrance completely barrier-free. Very well-equipped disabled toilet. Room: good maneuvering space, shower at ground level. But no grab bars on the shower and toilet. I have residual mobility = fine for me, just a little difficult. For everyone: Beautiful beer garden with self-service, in the courtyard with service. I found the food very good, value for money was great. Beer very tasty. Breakfast excellent, very varied and everything from savory to sweet and fresh egg dishes. (Only the coffee machine was very slow, if there are several people there for breakfast there is a traffic jam, I would prefer a pot of coffee - but that's complaining at a high level). Staff from reception, room service, waitress extremely customer-oriented, friendly, accommodating with good charisma. This deserves a special star. We really enjoyed our 4 days there

Very nice hotel, friendly and bright. And very good service. Our son had ordered a bouquet of flowers over the phone for Mother's Day; Despite the short notice, it worked and the manager of the house personally tried to get the bouquet on Saturday evening. My wife was very happy when the bouquet was in our room on Sunday. Thank you again!

We were there on Father's Day for the Weißwurst breakfast. Unfortunately the sausages were not edible and the pretzels were totally tough (I think from the day before). Additionally, the sausages were cold. After complaining, we were only given an additional pretzel. And all for 10 euros. It's a shame about that...

During my holiday week I ate there three times - and was thrilled every time - the menu is varied - everyone will find something, great value for money and the beer garden in the inner courtyard is really very nice. All dishes were delicious and the staff was very quick, friendly, attentive - there is nothing to complain about :-)

Were in transit and had lunch here. The service was friendly and tried hard, but unfortunately the wrong drink came to the table at the beginning. But a new one was brought immediately, great! The Schäuferle was large but a bit salty, the Bauerngröstl was oversalted and very carelessly put together from leftovers. Some parts were even burnt, which is why I would advise against the dish. The ambience, on the other hand, is very pleasant and the renovated building also looks good. Nevertheless, if in doubt, I would try a different restaurant next time when I'm passing through.

The beer garden or outdoor area invites you to linger for a while. Roofing available. Padded beer benches with backrests are comfortable. Self-service or drinks were served and food was ordered at the outside counter. Fast and without a long queue. However, the beer and the shandy were poorly restricted (below the 1/2 liter mark and the glasses were sticky from pouring. The food - we ordered 2x sauerbraten with dumpling - was horrible. The taste of the meat was only cooked until soft in water, with a sauce that had a taste of shashlik/currywurst sauce and unfortunately no salad with it. The portion for €16.10 was quite proud.

Were there to eat. Staff attentive and friendly. The food was good except for the Spätzle with cheese, which was unfortunately just OK. Also OK in relation to the nearby restaurants. The toilets were clean and overall you can say that it is worth a visit.

A stay after a longer bike tour 🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♀️ five-fluesse cycle path from Nuremberg is almost mandatory here 👍🏻😎 There is a covered bicycle parking space with power sockets. Everything turned out wonderfully in the newly renovated hotel. Great restaurant with a beautiful beer garden 🍺🍺🍺 in the courtyard, always very friendly staff and excellent food. The varied and seasonal menu offers a large selection for everyone. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

Sehr tolles,modernisiertes Gasthaus. Wirkt alles sehr einladend 👌 Suppen ok Gratinierte - Pfifferlings- Gemüse Pfanne hat leider nicht überzeugt. Zwiebelrostbraten wurde dafür auf den Punkt getroffen 👌 Schweinefilet mit gebratenen Pfifferlingen in Rahm war ok. Hausgemachte- Apfelküchl zum Dessert auch zu empfehlen 👍

Sehr leckeres Essen. Vegane alternative mit Burger ist zwar etwas langweilig aber dieser war sehr lecker. Das Bier kann man auch genießen. Von daher ein Empfehlung!

Essen wie immer super, aber bei aller liebe. Ich werde nie verstehen, warum man Ältere/Pärchen/Gruppen ohne Kinder, etc. in denselben Raum mit 10+ Kinder setzen muss. Es war so laut, dass man kaum die Person gegenüber verstehen konnte. Eine Familie mit 4 Kindern hatte sogar ein Lego Haus dabei… Unfassbar.

Hebben hier alleen wat gegeten. Zeer netjes, degelijk, schoon. Vriendelijk personeel, en het was er op maandagavond om 8 uur nog gezellig druk. Eten is goed, en royaal. Menukaart is goed afstemt, voor een ieder wat wils.

Schöne Zimmer, tolles Frühstück und schöne Lage. Gutes Essen - schön dass es auch vegetarische Auswahl gibt! Das Team an der Rezeption könnte freundlicher sein, da fehlt es an Feingefühl, an Bitte und Danke. Schade dass die Sauna nicht mit dabei ist. Für den Preis wäre es angemessen.

Sehr schön und geschmackvoll restauriertes Haus mit einem tollen Biergarten, einem lauschigen Innenhof, gemütlichen Innenräumen, sehr freundlichem Service, leckeren Speisen und Getränken sowie angemessenen Preisen - (mindestens) ein Besuch lohnt sich!

Während unserer Radtour haben wir hier übernachtet. Es gibt einen überdachten Fahrradabstellplatz mit Steckdosen. Die Zimmer sind riesig u sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Von der Minibar bis zum Wasserkocher ist alles vorhanden. Das Abendessen war fantastisch und das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Beim nächsten Mal kommen wir sicher wieder.

Neu angelegter Biergarten. Kurze Wege, schönes Ambiente. Das Bier ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unserem 4 Beiner wurde ebenfalls ein Wasser angeboten.

Wenn wir eine größere Fahrradtour unternehmen, sind wir hier schon öfter eingekehrt. Der Innenhof Biergarten ist wunderschön und auch der äußere Biergarten sehr sauber und ansprechend. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, wir hatten noch nie was auszusetzen. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker und mir gefällt auch, wenn in einer gut bürgerlichen Küche, mal andere Speisen angeboten werden. So auch gestern, die Mittsgskarte für die ganze Woche war sehr interessant 👍😋auch die Preise sind nicht unverschämt. Wir kommen wieder 🤗
