Definitely yes. The food chosen was excellent, the service was top and because we were having a birthday meal there was a Goddy in the form of our favorite drink on top. Everything is very pleasant and as a holidaymaker you are very impressed. Thank you for the food and perfect service.

Only a limited menu, but delicious.

I took advantage of the lunch offer in the thermal baths. The food was better than any snack offering I've ever had in baths. Unfortunately the spaghetti wasn't al dente, but only slightly over. But it happened very quickly. Pesto and aglio e olio were very tasty. It was a bit noisy when clearing out the dishes and when many guests were queuing at the same time. The price was right for me. Thank you for the good hospitality.

We had a good meal here. But unfortunately it's not a real Italian restaurant. It is very good for a visit after the bath and sauna, but if you want to have a really good Italian meal, this is not the right restaurant. The service was really nice and looked after us really well. If you visit the Toskana Therme, the restaurant is definitely worth it

We've been here a few times and each time we've gone home really satisfied. The portions are really big and the variety of dishes on offer is excellent. The employees were very courteous and friendly at all times. Thank you for this wonderful time! ☺️

Out of 4 meals, 2 were excellent, one was not good and one was average, the tiramisu was great. Menu in German only. The service was quite nice, but for my taste it took its time, I would summarize it as not offending, but not inspiring.

We were here at the end of August. In the town itself, almost everything was closed at 7 p.m. or the reception was unfriendly. Here, although a pizzeria by the swimming pool, friendly service and quite good food. Certainly not three-star cuisine, but we were treated kindly and no one complained about my friend's English accent. We were there again the next day.

We arrived in Bad Schandau today and were looking for a nice restaurant for dinner after a long day and I would say we found it straight away. Very nice staff, nice atmosphere, good value for money and best of all... the food tasted really delicious. Unfortunately we're leaving tomorrow, but if we're in the area again at some point, we'll definitely stop by again.

Unpleasant service, we felt like we were bothering.

We wanted to make a reservation for dinner, but unfortunately we were told that it wasn't available there. Should be lucky. When we arrived in the evening the first question was whether we had made a reservation, and that from the same person in the afternoon. We then got a place at the door, one was constantly feeling drafty, and the other had to constantly look at half-naked people in the thermal bath restaurant. The facilities can be compared to a canteen or Mitropa. My wife's pizza was good. I had tagliatelle with salmon and a sauce. The poor salmon must have died for the third time that evening, so dry it was completely crumbled and everything was lukewarm. When asked about it, it was claimed that the customers wanted it that way and we weren't in Italy. There wasn't even an excuse for the cold food. Can't recommend this atmosphere.

Pizza was ok. The crust was overcooked; burnt in some areas. Not an even cooking oven maybe. The flavor was ok. The prices are reasonable.

We had pasta, once with salmon and once with strips of steak. We were very positively surprised by the amount of salmon and steak in both dishes. In terms of taste, our expectations were more than exceeded. Definitely not a simple swimming pool restaurant, but much better and with very good prices. We recommend a visit. PS the chocolate ice cream is also worth it

Of course, each hotel has its own standards of service quality. I would make a rough breakdown from the guest's perspective as follows: Houses that want to exceed the guests' expectations. Then there are those who have a clearly structured offer and aim to precisely meet the guests’ expectations. And the last category is that offered by the restaurant Il Ristorante Toskana. In general, these days it is rather embarrassing not to offer food compositions for allergy sufferers, vegetarians and vegans and, if the case arises, to refer to the salad. However, this fact alone would not justify a negative rating. Having food in stock that appeals to the above-mentioned target groups, offering it in the spa but not in the restaurant (even though everything is prepared in a kitchen) and not serving it because anyone can come with a special request defines the service requirement towards the guest already so good that no further comment is needed. The fact that there was also a bit of confusion and that the service staff at the reception, when asked whether the dish was also available in the restaurant, expressly said yes and then the waiter at the table simply didn't feel like it or wanted to deliberately annoy the guest, is irrelevant to the facts the crown on. Jobs, if you like them, you can learn. Internal training for employees to ensure appropriate service quality can be provided by internal employees and supplemented by external training providers in the event of a lack of skills. I hope that the urgent need to train employees has already been recognized by management and that there can be hope for improvement in the future.

You can also stop in if you haven't been to the sauna. Mega delicious food and friendly staff. We would love to come back...

The bathroom is really beautiful and diverse. There is also a salt pool and an outdoor pool. The food is ok - but nothing special either. The sauna area seems too “narrow” to me. But overall it's worth a visit.

Italian restaurant in the thermal baths (bath). Parking in front of the thermal baths is subject to a charge. 2€ per hour. Ambiance of the restaurant is nice. Large window front with a view of the terrace and access path. Lounge area for drinks. There is also an ice cream bar. Nice service, good service. Prices for pizza and pasta surprisingly cheap. Pizza from €10 and very tasty.

We had a lovely dinner from the set menu. It was very tasty and abundant. The waitress was cherrful and friendly. I would go back again, for sure.

This is the second time I've been here and I can fully recommend this restaurant. The food is very good, my wife even loved the salad. Price/performance is right.

Normal pizza. But we ordered first and had to wait 10 minutes longer than those who ordered after us. With the same order. Service zero points. The waitress already noticed that we wanted to move on quickly (go to the campsite and set everything up before it gets dark) and yet she still charges the neighboring table first.

Food (tomato soup, pizza spinaci and pizza Tuscany and tiramisu) all very tasty, great base, great toppings. Espresso and cappuccino also very good. Service also very friendly. Everything is great.

This evening we went to Il Ristorante Toskana. The restaurant is in the thermal baths building. Table reservation is recommended. We sat on the beautiful terrace in the best weather. Menu extensive. Service nice. We had pasta and salad and tomato soup as a starter. Price-performance ratio fits.

Wanted to eat there - but everything was occupied. Staff tried to describe the situation, when we asked to take pizzas with us, we were told there would be no staff for 50 minutes with the reason being. We heard that several times in the restaurants there during our 12-day vacation.

We spent 3 days on vacation in Bad Schandau and even ate here twice! Once we went for lunch and tried pasta and once in the evening with a reservation we had pizza. The food is amazing! Delicious and freshly prepared. The staff very very friendly. We definitely recommend you 😊

Very cool atmosphere inside. Hardly any decoration, plants or room dividers. Compared to other restaurants in the area, the food (pizza & pasta) and service were rather average.

Insider tip, if you're strolling along the promenade in the evening and want to eat some ice cream, there's some there. So delicious 😋.

Bad service and inflexible. We wanted to sit outside late in the afternoon on July 24th, 2024 as a family of 5 with 3 children. The shaded areas with larger tables were occupied and one table was reserved. Three larger tables were more or less in the blazing sun, but if they were moved a little they would also have had shade. When we asked kindly that we would like to sit in the shade with children, we were pointed out several tables for two at the edge of the restaurant. Our question as to whether we could push two tables together was answered with: no, we won't do that now. We could split up individually and sit at tables for two. We declined by asking whether we were serious about sitting at different tables as a family and went to eat somewhere else. In my opinion, not even 1 star after a number like that.

The restaurant offers a good menu. The service was very accommodating. I found the facility to be very sober. My calf was a bit very dry, maybe I was unlucky or too spoiled. The ice cream sundae at the end saved a lot. I would try the pizzas on a subsequent visit. They looked pretty appetizing. A large parking lot, belonging to the Toscana Therme, was available free of charge that day.

Either the waiter has a persistent cold or there are other substances at play. At the very least he is very rude and excitable. Very unpleasant person. I don't come here anymore

No “good evening”, no “hello” either. We were just turned away with an unfriendly “No” and a shake of the head. We only wanted to take two pizzas with us. We only got a “no” for that too.

Was there 4 days ago with my wife and our 9 month old daughter. Super Service! Great food! Great price! We were very surprised that there was such delicious food at a good price in the thermal baths. The service was also excellent. The restaurant alone would be worth a trip to Therma. PS: very big + point that there are baby chairs. Unfortunately, not every restaurant has it these days.

Unfortunately, vegan vegetable pizza is not on the menu. It is overpriced compared to, for example, the four-cheese pizza 16 at €12.90

We ate here after visiting the thermal baths and felt quite comfortable. We didn't have to wait long and ate well, even if the pasta could have been seasoned a little more boldly. Unfortunately the leek soup wasn't to our taste. The guest room is clean and functional, but in my opinion a bit cold. The service was ok. We couldn't have done worse for a spontaneous dinner.

Inconspicuous but very good food, we always got a place without a reservation - which is otherwise very difficult in Bad Schandau - good alternatives to food are also the Schrammsteinbaude and Gasthaus Heitere Blick.

We went there for dinner without a reservation. Because we had our dog with us, we sat outside. Not a word on the homepage or menu that you get a different choice of food in the swimming pool part than in the non-swimming pool part of the restaurant. The penne and spaghetti bolognese looked like they had been sitting around for hours waiting for the microwave. That's how they tasted. The Spaghetti Bolognese is only for children's palates. Way too sweet and probably with carrot in it. Plus a Gouda instead of Parmesan - I was shocked. I thought I was eating at an Italian restaurant, but I couldn't taste any herbs, tomatoes, al dente, etc. here. The salad with goat cheese deserves special mention. It was fresh and delicious with lots of olives and cheese. The ambience in the bathroom is that of a simple Italian ice cream parlor with plastic seats. The view of the Elbe valley is beautiful and it is pleasantly warm. The restaurant was clean.
