IL Punto Italiano München in München

One of our regular Italian restaurants in Munich. Good food, good wine, cozy atmosphere, and as a bonus one can follow the actions of the Chef with the pots and pans. He is truly great!

Wow ! Are they back ? A long time ago, their Spaghetti frutti di mare was the one of the best Spaghetti all over the world for me. They once closed this restaurant and I was so much disappointed, and came back to Japan. Thrilled to find this restaurant while I was looking back into my good memories in Munich. If those Italian owner and the chef are back, I need to visit Munich some day just for this ! Can somebody go try Frutti di mare ? It should be a bit spicy with deep flavour of tomato and seafood.

All in all, a nice place, but you have to keep in mind that you're definitely paying for the location. Looking at the menu, given the hefty prices, I was hoping for a large portion of spaghetti. However, what arrived was a medium to small bowl shaped like a plate. If that doesn't bother you, you can have an enjoyable evening there.

Doesn’t deserve all the bad reviews! Had rigatoni bolognese and penne arrabiata and both were really good :) service was also kind.

My review only reflects my own personal experience, others could have a different experiences. It is not intended to defame the establishment, only describing to other potential customers on what to expect. Since I cant put a star in food or beverages because i cant sit and drink any hot beverages without ordering any food. The restaurant was almost empty, only 3 tables filled with guests (all had their orders made) but nevertheless the personal refused service for beverages order only and told me to get the drink somewhere else if i dont order any food. Which is very undestandable if the restaurant was full during lunch service, but mind you it was around 5 pm with few guests. Which is actually a blessing in disguse because the coffe from the spot in font of this retaurant was very good (or might be even better).

Unfriendly staff, pizza swimming in oil. I would never recommend it.

Sehr leckeres Essen aus der offenen Küche, gute Weinauswahl und freundliches Personal. Hier esse ich gerne mittags, wenn ich ohnehin in der Stadt bin. Etwas versteckt im Kaufhof, aber unbedingt zu empfehlen!

..... ich komme seid ca. 15 Jahre her. Das Essen und der Service ist immer Top! Ich denk als Koch kann ich das gut beurteilen! Auch das Preis/ Leistungverhältnis paast.

Unfassbar, dass Leute hier schreiben, das Essen sei schlecht! Das kann nur von der Konkurenz kommen. Wäre der Laden sonst tatsächlich jeden Mittag voll? Definitiv einer der sehr guten Italiener in der Stadt! Die Pizza ist perfekt, die Spagghetti mit Garnelen oder Meeresfrüchten ein Gedicht, habe in Italien keine besseren gefunden... Unfreundliches Personal? Da kann ich nur das Gegenteil bestätigen. Sehr gute Weinauswahl. Ich kann nur sagen: ideal für ein Mittagessen im Rahmen des Einkaufsbummels. Danke Il Punto !!!

Freundlicher Service, guter Wein und sehr leckeres Essen. Wechselnde Speisekarte. Essen wird immer frisch zu bereitet. Die haben hier eine offene Küche. Schöner Ort zum Entspañen und genießen.

Kaufhof地下一层超市里的意大利餐馆，海鲜面很好吃，新鲜海鲜做的，品种多量足调味适中，面也劲道。相比而言蛤蜊意面清淡很多。
