Cantina Mexicana in München

The restaurant is large and in a great location. I was there a while ago and had delicious food. However, the cocktails at happy hour are too mild. Otherwise, everything was good.

I'm still on the finger food side, but I'm completely thrilled. Plenty of it, really good (except for the cheeseburgers), and the service is fantastic. I'll work my way through the menu. The prices are right, too. Heart and stomach... what more could you want?

Drinks were okay, food was quite honestly terrible. They certainly don't deserve the price, go try any other place at Giselastraße.

Sitting for 15 minutes the waiter is absolutely ignoring us and passing by even tho it’s just one guest and us in the whole restaurant.

The food was good. i wish it was more authentic and spicy though. Can be a bit expensive although the location deserves a premium.

Please note: I was using different price lists for ordering and paying, with a 25% increase on my invoice. Upon inquiry, they reminded me of a recent price increase. This scam only worked once for me...

3/5 for the food 5/5 for the cocktails (Django and LIT) Overall had a good time. The server was helpful, and music was nice.

It didn't taste good, but it wasn't bad either. Let's put it this way: it's edible, but it doesn't taste freshly made, and there's no trace of spice. And for a small portion, it cost 15 euros. I personally wouldn't go back. There are much better Mexican restaurants in Munich.

Die Bedienung ist super nett. Die Cocktails sind super. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die Toiletten sind grausig. Deshalb eigentlich nur 2 Sterne aber weil der Rest ging und weil auf Impfung auf Corona geachtet wird.

I've been there twice. 2 stars only for a nice waitress that I had during my first visit. During my second visit the experience was much worse. The waiter was rude, when I gave him negative feedback on one cocktail (a missing ingredient) he asked if I took photos of my cocktail to prove it to him as he saw a different color than my friend and I. I hoped he can pass the comment to the bartender for future improvement but instead he insulted customers. Definitely won't come back. Food is mediocre, 3 cocktails that I have tried were mediocre/ bad.

The food tasted great <3 But you can't pay with a card there, which was pretty uncomfortable, cause I didn't have any cash with me and had to pay extra money to the nearest automat 💁‍♀️

Service was great but the food is bad. Nachos came burnt and tasted bad. Served Doritos with salsa. Chips were stale. Pico del G looked old. Drinks used artificial lime juice and syrup. Decor inside matched the food. I wouldn’t go there again.

Tl;dr: meh. Neither bad nor good. Stopped by with a friend after a whole day of walking around Munich hoping to recoup some energy. It's an okay enough place, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return. The food didn't taste bad, but it wasn't super warm and didn't seem very fresh either, which is kinda understandable but still not my preference. They were understaffed, which means the poor servers couldn't provide very fast service even if they worked extra hard. Still, the food didn't take super long to get to us. My sex on the beach looked like tomato juice and tasted generic but not terrible. Can't say prices are good for what you get, but it didn't feel like a rip-off either. In short, quite average

We had a burger and Tacos here and we really enjoyed both. The meat has a tasty flavour and the fries that come with the burger are well-done. I would say that the Tacos in this place are worthing coming back for.

Great cocktails and vibe. But not the same impression about the food

Schönes Ambiente und nett hergerichtet alles - jedoch waren die Speisen mittelmäßig und die Getränke waren ohne Kohlensäure. Die Jungs an der Bar waren sehr freundlich jedoch die Kellner für die Speisen eher nicht so. Vielleicht ist der Laden ja neu und man braucht noch etwas Zeit...

Das Restaurant ist gemütlich eingerichtet und der Service sehr freundlich. Das Essen lässt allerdings zu wünschen übrig. Habe einen Burger bestellt, er war schön angerichtet aber geschmacklich so, als hätte ich ihn selbst zuhause gebraten. Hier ist noch Luft nach oben.

Das Personal ist freundlich und nette Location, aber die Qualität des Essens entspricht leider überhaupt nicht dem Preis! Lieblos angerichtet und geschmacklich kein Highlight. Hab eine Granatapfellimonade bestellt, war Wasser mit Zitrone und Grenadine, enttäuschend!
