Il Piatto in Wuppertal

Unfortunately not good. We only ordered 5 pizzas and waited over an hour. And no, it wasn't full. Then a pizza came. Then about 10 minutes later, when asked, another 3. Then 5 minutes later a wrong one and finally the last one. Unfortunately, the pizzas were also dry and sometimes sparsely topped. No excuse for it taking so long or interest in whether it tasted good. When it came time to pay, an explanation came that the oven wasn't working well today and an offer to put something on the house. That didn't save the situation anymore. We were disappointed and just wanted to leave. Sorry, I missed the warm, courteous Italian hospitality. It's ok if there are delays due to technical difficulties, but as a guest I want to know that beforehand so that I can decide for myself whether I want to wait longer or not.

This is the greatest meal ever. We really like it there. The waitresses are all very nice.

The homemade pasta is very tasty. We had spaghetti and pizza. Both were excellent, but then the homemade tiramisu came and topped everything!!! The service was very attentive and friendly. The ambience was ok, but we were there the day before the move to the new premises. I wish you a good start and when I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come by again.

Although according to the website the restaurant was open, the door was closed. Very annoying because they had informed themselves beforehand and were supposed to be open at lunchtime on Wednesdays. When we saw the ambience through the closed door, we were also glad that it was closed. It looked very dirty and everything looked very unkempt in front of the entrance.

It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The highlight of my meal was the Seafood Pasta, which was absolutely delicious. The pasta was cooked Al Dente, just as it should be, and the seafood was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was a delight. Beyond the food, the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a great Italian dining experience. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

I pre-ordered through Lieferando for 8:15 p.m. Unfortunately, despite pre-ordering, the pizza arrived 30 minutes late. The two pizzas were cold and didn't taste good. The salad, however, was a complete disgrace. It consisted of half a cucumber, four tomatoes, two pepperoni, olives, onions, and warm feta soaked in 0.5 liters of olive oil. And all for €9. Selling something like that as a salad is simply outrageous. The chef should be shown how to cut vegetables and what a salad is.

Great pizza at incredibly fair prices and we'll be testing the homemade pasta soon. And a very friendly team.

Had dinner there for the first time today. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. I've never eaten worse pasta than I did there. Every cheap supply chain makes better noodles. We paid over €50 for 3 dishes and threw my wife's food away straight away - it was inedible. I had truffle pasta. The dish consisted of dry noodles and oil. You could feel a hint of a truffle taste it was just inedible.

Unfortunately, the food was either too salty (salad) or extremely bland (pasta). There was salt and pepper on the table, so at least the pasta could be seasoned accordingly. Service was nice, it was fine. The toilets had the charm of a train station toilet in terms of maintenance. I don't have to eat there again.

Absolute recommendation. Typically Italian, there was an excellent tomato soup and the salad with seafood was also delicious. Service was friendly and without long waiting times.

I don't even know where to start: the service at this place is incredible. Georgios, the boss, has his eyes everywhere, but sometimes it takes a while. I don't think that's a bad thing either. You sit there to enjoy the evening, and you can certainly do that here. About food: what can I say? I come from Düsseldorf and there are many incredibly good Italians there. But the special way the food was prepared literally blew me off my plate. The portions are very sufficient and are lovingly prepared by the chef (Francesco). You can find the best carbonara here. I had spaghetti, Vongome, and this is really sensational. The boss himself is always in a good mood and presents you the food with a smile and a funny saying. of course you have to be into a bit of communication. The atmosphere is romantic and rustic. I will definitely visit this location often. For me the best Italian in NRW. Just different than most… But super tasty and the pasta is really freshly prepared…. and the wines are excellent. The atmosphere is very cozy - nice for a girls' night, the food tastes like it was cooked at home, but the portions of pasta and risotto are really big, so it could feed 2-3 people. Wine is available upon request, a bottle cost €25.

According to my experience I can say that I was disappointed, small portions compared to a high price.

Today we went to this restaurant again for a long time with our son. It was incredibly beautiful, even though a private party was being held there. Nevertheless, we were served very lovingly by a very nice waiter. Actually there should have been five of us there, but in the end there were only three of us. But no matter, we were very, very well looked after and the food was really delicious. I'm happy to give it five stars

Tutto bene! We spent a really cozy, loud girls' evening there. Super cute location with a friendly waiter, lots of charm and great pizza. Extra requests are fulfilled and the house wine (Primitivo) is also highly recommended. A Wuppertal highlight :-) We'll be back!

Went there for pizza yesterday. One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Quality far exceeds the price. Will stop by again today for pasta. Absolute recommendation!

There is no better Italian in Wuppertal

Went there spontaneously just before work to get something to eat. Were very impressed with the atmosphere. Of course not the top location in Wuppertal but the great service and friendly guests made up for it. We had bolognese, calzones and pasta prawns. Everything was super tasty and the price was great for the quality. When we are back in Wuppertal we will definitely go there again.

I do not recommend this place. Oversalted 4 out of 5 dishes (2 pizzas, 2 pastas). Tiramisu is simply a biscuit with custard and cocoa. Dishes and tableware, as in a canteen, are cheap and available. Coffee (Americano) is disgusting. The service is ok - the guy ran quickly, but it was not very tasty. I only write reviews when it's wow or wow, and it's really the latter.

After a visit to the Visiodrome and the botanical garden, I went to eat there with my mother. From the outside we found the interior to be rather inconspicuous, very nice, modern and rustic. The menu is not too full and there are additional daily specials. The homemade noodles were very tasty. The bruschetta was not, as is often the case, on a baguette or something similar, but was served on a pizza base. But it tasted great. The service was also very nice and quick. If I visit Wuppertal again, I would love to come back!

I was looking for a good Italian restaurant with colleagues and came across this restaurant. Our expectations were exceeded! The food we all had was very good and for dessert we also got a plate of all 3 dessert variants, it was fantastic!!

Moc příjemná italská restaurace s rodinnou atmosférou. Zažil jsem zde dva večery - zcela plnou a pak téměř prázdnou restauraci. Číšník je skvělý, přátelský, pohotový a milý. Jídlo nemá chybu, znát jsou především kvalitní suroviny. Prosciutto jsem snad lepší nejedl, těstoviny byly výtečné včetně ostatních ingrediencí a krásně to spolu hraje. Já osobně jsem ocenil lehce pikantní feferonku, která tomu dala ten správný říz. Carpaccio z chobotnice se skvěle ochuceným salátkem nemělo chybu. Líbí se mi i plating na kvalitních talířích. Rozlévané bílé víno nebylo vůbec špatné. K účtu mě moc potěšila výborná grappa. Zapracovat by však měli na čistotě, tam vidím menší rezervy. Návštěvu mohu jen doporučit.

Locale molto sporco , antipasto povero e non ben cucinato. Tenuto molto male , il risotto di mare non sapeva di nulla e ho faticato a finirlo essendoci pezzi di gusci di vongole sparsi. Sicuramente non ci tornerei e me ne sarei andata senza pagare.

Hier stimmt fast alles. Nettes Ambiente, gute Küche (da sehr guter Koch, aus anderen Restaurants bekannt, macht deutlich den Unterschied aus), sympathischer Chef. Ein Stern in Abzug, da der Vorspeisenteller für 19,00 € (zwei P.) variantenreicher und etwas üppiger hätte sein können (eine Käsesorte ist zu wenig, etwas Salat, oder Tomaten, etc. fehlte irgendwie). Glas Wein etwas zu teuer. Komme definitiv wieder!
