We found the Atelier restaurant thanks to a "Spar mit Reisen" voucher. Location - unfortunately a bit out of the way. We would never have discovered it without the voucher. ☝️ But it's definitely a recommendation!! Super friendly service and care (even with a toddler). Great atmosphere. Tasty food! Delicious drinks. We'll be happy to come back next time we're in Wuppertal.

We always like to come for breakfast, there is always enough coffee and the food has always been delicious.

Do you like cold food and pat answers? Then you've come to the right place for brunch. Even if the taste is good, the warm pan dishes are not kept warm properly. If you have Shakshuka, minced meat and gnocchi pan or even potato pancakes If you like to eat cold, then you're in good hands here. There's nothing to complain about in terms of the richness, but filling up various dishes is difficult. Here you get completely opposite answers from “coming soon” to “won’t be refilled”, and in various stroppy nuances when asked. Conclusion: a lot of work needs to be done on communication with each other and the service as well as the availability and keeping the food warm in order to generate long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.

You can do it. Price performance is right. Went to the vegetarian buffet on site. Nothing was labeled and nothing was added. But it tasted good. Unfortunately, I was overcharged by 10 euros for a blackhead. Too bad.

The selection was huge - fresh rolls, croissants, various types of cheese and sausage, muesli, fresh fruit and even warm dishes such as scrambled eggs and potato pancakes. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the products – everything was fresh and presented with a lot of love. The service was also first class! Friendly, attentive and always with a smile – you felt completely at home. Drinks were served quickly and special requests were fulfilled without any problems. We were here for the vegetarian and vegan buffet on Friday evening. Both we and our two daughters really enjoyed it. Special requests were also taken into account. The decor is creative and the service staff is very friendly and accommodating. Unreserved recommendation.

We were there with family and friends for a champagne breakfast. The restaurant was very busy, as was the rush at the buffet at the beginning. But there was no need to worry: it continued to be added until the end. Very extensive, tasty buffet, only the juices seemed watered down. Absolutely recommended for both the food and the ambience.

Went for a champagne breakfast with friends and family and were thrilled. Great ambience, very good, varied buffet, which was of course very busy at the beginning. But it was always improved so that everyone always got their money's worth. Only the juices seemed a bit watery. One thing is certain, this wasn't our last visit.

150 m from the large center, a little out of the way, this superb restaurant in an ordinary street but when you enter it. We don't regret it. The interior setting is superbly decorated with an air of abstract painting, clean, calm and warm. A very friendly personalized welcome from the waiter, without pressure. A quiet, relaxing place. Succulent, well-stocked cuisine at a very reasonable price. We loved the whole thing. The service is top notch as well as high quality homemade dishes. While passing through, we will return there just like the monorail which also seduced us.

Always good... one of my favorite restaurants... always delicious, the schnitzels are great as well as everything else, the service is always nice and I love the artistic atmosphere. The price/performance ratio is also very good. The vegetarian/vegan buffet is also highly recommended with plenty of delicious selection... only ONE tiny criticism... the buffet would be nice if the dishes stated what it is, but otherwise everything is just PERFECT 😊

Overwhelmingly good, hospitable, and generous... loved each of my many visits to this lovely restaurant during a week-long stay in Wuppertal. From their breakfast buffet, to their perfect jagerschnitzel, the food here is all quite good and there's plenty of it. Good beers and wines are available too, and we always left satisfied with what we received. The service is great and the kindness they showed to our group as foreign travelers was greatly appreciated and made us feel right at home. We'll never forget it! Thank you to everyone who works at Atelier for being so good and welcoming and we'll be sure to revisit whenever we hopefully return to Wuppertal.

The buffet was very good and plentiful

I chose a Wiener Schnitzel with another side dish. The waiter recorded it and didn't say anything else about it. What I wanted was truffled mashed potatoes, which was the only reason I went to this store. I got normal. When asked why this was the case, the waiter replied that the truffled one would cost more. I then said that they could have told me that when I ordered and then I would have agreed to the extra charge, I even expected it, after all I didn't order it for free. The waiter didn't want to have it prepared again, so there was no satisfactory solution. Service 0 points.

The dessert was great, the atmosphere was good too. It's something different with colorful walls and the like.

The champagne breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays has a really varied buffet. But what is unfortunately completely missing is labeling of the food. So you can't tell what kind of jams are available, what juices you're tapping, or whether you're looking at yoghurt or quark. Absolutely unsuitable for people who follow various diets.

The breakfast buffet is great! Totally diverse and varied. There are always different topics, such as Turkish specialties. For the champagne breakfast there is a one-time glass of champagne and otherwise you can get coffee, tea and juice from the buffet. The only small negative point is the sanitary facilities, which are getting old and are sometimes not entirely clean.

Wir waren an einem Freitag dort zum veganen und vegetarischen Buffet. Es war sensationell gut. Das Angebot war reichhaltig und ausgesprochen schmackhaft. Alles war frisch, ansprechend und sehr gut gewürzt ohne überwürzt zu sein. Das Personal war einwandfrei und das Ambiente sehr ansprechend. Wir waren einige Wochen später noch einmal da und haben uns einfach nur eine Kleinigkeit bestellt. Auch hier wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Aufgrund unserer guten Erfahrungen haben wir es unserer Familien und Kolleg:innen empfohlen. Auch hier haben wir nur begeisterte Rückmeldungen bekommen.

There is no "fine dining" here, but a cool location, very nice service and delicious food at fair prices. Ambience with a lot of “art” and something really different. The audience mixed. All age groups are represented. We'd love to come back, even if it's just for a nightcap at the bar with a small snack.

I can't judge the ambience. Delivery via Wolt, delivered very quickly. I doubt whether the veal cheeks were, the truffled mashed potatoes were slimy potato pieces with something green in them. Vegetables were probably heated in the micro. All in all, money wasted, despite fast delivery it wasn't even lukewarm. It's a shame I was so looking forward to delicious food.

My wife and I once wanted to spend a vegetarian and vegan evening. So we came up with the idea of ​​visiting the studio again. This currently costs Buffet €20.00 per person and I tried pretty much everything that was on the buffet. Our conclusion: Unfortunately you couldn't eat any food, Whether warm or cold, you can identify name tags or food labels. Yes, everything was super fresh and very tasty and everything was very clean. But if I were a convinced vegan, I would have to ask what's in every dish. I would run out of food very quickly. Every vegetarian and vegan can eat very tasty food here. We, non-vegetarians or vegans, will limit it to Sunday brunch in the future. The toilets were very clean and usable without any problems.

We found this restaurant through Instagram on our first visit to Wuppertal, went in with no expectations and were absolutely amazed! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very unique - it's filled with art works and a joy to the eye. The staff was friendly and accommodating - we received our order pretty quickly, even though the restaurant was quite full for dinner. I specifically recommend the Dorado fillet - the portion was hefty, and the fish juicy and exceptionally flavorful! My friend had ravioli with beef and truffle and was very pleased with the taste and quality as well. Highly recommended!

Went there for the normal breakfast buffet and were hoping that there would be a few vegan options, as the restaurant also regularly offers a vegetarian/vegan buffet. The service employee was very friendly and helpful, but since there was NOTHING marked on the side of the buffet despite a list of allergens - not even signs with the names of the dishes on offer directly on the dishes - he asked in the kitchen. The cook was incredibly rude and showed us the 3 dishes on a specially marked vegan tray - since we can read, we saw that ourselves. Alternatively, she referred us to mozzarella and feta. (Obviously not vegan). Since we were a bit hesitant, the cook came out of the kitchen again and, very upset, showed us cucumbers and dry lettuce leaves. When we asked, we were given oat milk by the very friendly employee. It would be great if milk alternatives were also offered at the muesli bar. The 3 vegan dishes were delicious, but stuffed peppers aren't something I would normally eat for breakfast. We would have appreciated a little more choice of bread toppings. (There was nothing there) The location itself is a bit old and the ceiling paneling on the toilet was coming off.

Nachdem wir schon mehrfach hervorragend im Atelier gebruncht haben, sind wir am Silvesterabend dort gewesen und wirklich nicht enttäuscht worden. Es gab ein Menü oder a la carte. Wir haben uns für eine Vorspeisenplatte, das Rumpsteak und den Zander entschieden, dazu gab es einen Rioja. Das gesamte Essen war fantastisch, der Wein ebenso. Der Service war großartig, das Ambiente im Atelier ist besonders, man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Alles in allem 5 Sterne für diesen tollen Abend, vielen Dank noch einmal an das ganze Team.

Kann man sehr Essen gehen alles zu 100% ok

Das Buffet zum Mittagessen ist sehr lecker und umfangreich. Gutes Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr zentral gelegen.

Leider gab es an diesem Freitag Abend kein vegan vegetarisches Büfett, wie es vor dem Lokal per Aufsteller und auch in dem Lokal auf grossen Tafeln beworben wird. Es war ein Buffet aufgebaut, aber das war entweder für eine Weihnachtsfeier reserviert oder nicht vegetarisch. Das ist uns leider nicht klar geworden, da man uns angeboten hat a la carte zu essen. Die Karte war sehr überschaubar. Wir haben einen vegetarischen Vorspeisenteller für zwei Personen gegessen, der leider auch extrem überschaubar war und 22, 00 Euro kostete. Leider hat es auch überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Ich habe noch nie so schlechte Auberginen gegessen. Auch wenn mehr als zwei Scheibchen auf dem Teller gelegen hätten, wären wir nicht in Versuchung gekommen diese zu essen. Leider nicht zu empfehlen (ausser man isst das Buffet, dass ist sicherlich besser und reichhaltiger) Schade, denn das Ambiente ist wirklich schön, aber ich werde mein Geld woanders ausgeben und nicht noch einmal hingehen.

Egal ob a la carte oder Mittagsbuffet oder Frühstück oder vegan/vegetarisches Buffet - es ist immer total lecker und ein guter Service.

Waren gestern zum Brunch für 21,50 Euro dort. Mega, was dort " aufgefahren " wurde. Super lecker und alles was das Herz begehrt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein ungewöhnliches interessantes Ambiente. Die Mischung aus Kunst und Gastronomie einfach genial und besonders. Das Frühstück für 2 Personen reichlich, vielfältig und lecker.

Tolle Konzeptmischung zwischen Kunstatelier, grossem Restaurant und Kneipe. Hervorragende, im Kern italienische Küche. Preise gehen absolut in Ordnung. Service freundlich und zackig. Die Besitzer sind mit Recht stolz auf ihren Laden und führen die Gäste bei Interesse ( natürlich nur wenn wenig los ist) gerne herum.

Wir sind einmal im Jahr in Wuppertal und würden dort nie mehr woanders essen. Die Qualität der Speisen ist super, die Bedienung ist sehr nett. Was soll man sagen, solche Restaurants müsste es überall geben - sie machen die Welt ein Stückchen besser. :) Danke!

WOW - war eine Empfehlung eines Freundes, wir werden definitiv wieder hingehen. Selten so lecker gegessen, Service super zuvorkommend, freundlich und flott unterwegs. wunderbar eingerichtet, es entsteht ein tolles Wohlfühl-Ambiente

Die Getränkepreise sind schon hoch angesiedelt. Beim Essen finde ich es angemessen. Meine Begleitungen waren insgesamt zufrieden mit dem veganen Buffet, wobei nicht alles gut temperiert war. Ich war der einzige Fleischesser und habe mich endlich mal auf ein Saltimbocca gefreut, was mir bisher immer längs der Nas' gegangen ist. Geschmacklich war das richtig gut, allerdings bestand es aus Schweinefleisch, was 1. nicht geht und 2. nicht deklariert war. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich und die Location hat was.

Wir waren zum Familientreffen da.Alles soweit okay,aber innerhalb von 3 Monaten den Preis für Brunch um 5€ zu erhöhen ist etwas viel finden wir. Und bei Kindern sollte wenigstens der Sekt abgezogen werden.

Eine sehr coole Lokation im Zentrum von Wuppertal-Elberfeld. Das Essen könnte an mancher Stelle weniger fettig sein. Auch der Geschmack ist hier und da verbesserungswürdig. Sehr schade ist, dass zu wenig nach Getränken gefragt wird. Eigentlich DIE Einnahmequelle der Gastronomie. Auch in einer größeren Gruppe ist diese Erfahrung nach mehreren Besuchen im Atelier leider eine Schwäche. Mein Wunsch an diesen Rädchen zu drehen, um aus der wirklich sehr schönen Lokalität noch mehr zu machen. Auch die Möglichkeit bei gutem Wetter draußen sitzen zu können, ein riesen Vorteil und tolle Möglichkeit zum Einkehren.

Wir haben unser Fanclubtreffen 2023("Wir sind eins" Der Letzte Instanz Fanclub) hier veranstaltet, es bleibt nur eins zu sagen, was Atelier zu bieten hat ist einmalig. Wir waren schon einmal dort und ich habe das beste Essen gegessen was ich gefühlt je hatte es war sehr lecker und der Service war auch sehr gut meine Tochter wurde die Bratkartoffeln sehr hat uns das gesagt dagegen hatte gehört und 8003 Tochter noch eine extra Portion Bratkartoffeln und sonst sehr guter Service und wir hören immer wieder kommen🤩👌

Sehr gemütlich, superlecker. Wahsinnsauswahl am Frühstücksbuffet. Der einzige kleine Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre, die Getränkeauswahl um Wasser zu erweitern. Aber Preis-Leistung und Qualität der gebotenen Speisen ist 1A.

Das Atelier bietet mit großem Abstand das beste Buffet, gerade Sonntags. Die Speisen sind auffällig frisch zubereitet in aller Vielfalt. Der Innenbereich ist sehr groß und bietet dennoch eine angenehme Akustik. Das künstlerische Ambiente gibt einen Kunst Fabrik ähnlichem Hauch. Das Atelier verfügt auch über einen großen zusätzlichen Raum im der auch Gruppen Platz finden können. Ein netter und ebenfalls künstlerisch eingerichteter Auäenbereich ist gerade im Sommer und für Raucher geeignet. Das Atelier verfügt über einen Barrierefreien Zugang, ebenso die Toiletten. Die Speisekarte ist vielfältig und die Speisen haben eine enorme Qualität. Das Buffet allerdings ist mit Abstand das Beste in Wuppertal und Raum.

Vor einem Kinobesuch im nahegelegenen Rex haben wir uns im Atelier "gestärkt" und waren sehr begeistert. Die Karte hält für jeden Geschmack etwas bereit-wir haben uns für gegrillte Hähnchenbrust und Risotto mediterran entschieden und waren mehr als zufrieden.Der Service war gut und schnell, das Essen 1A und die Preise absolut angemessen. In Verbindung mit dem künstlerischen Ambiente war alles perfekt.Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir kommen gelegenlich zum vegan/ vegetarischen Buffet. Dies ist Freitags ab 18 Uhr. -Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Wer Kunst mag wird es hier lieben - Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und arbeitet zügig. - Es ist sehr sauber Das wichtigste: Das Buffet ist überragend. Gerade für veganer ist die Auswahl riesig. Auch der Nachtisch ist immer super. Das Essen a la carte und Fleischgerichte kann ich nur Optisch bewerten . Es sieht aber gut aus und die Portionen sind groß. P.S. Diese Rezension schreibe ich nicht wegen der Cola Zero aufs Haus. 😉 Sondern weil es uns immer prima schmeckt.
