I never would have thought I'd have to have so much patience for a simple service issue. I waited over four hours at the service counter – and all because IKEA itself made a mistake. Instead of looking after the waiting customers, the employees preferred to have private conversations. No sense of urgency, no apology, no appreciation for the customers' time. In total, this process cost me six hours – time that no one will give me back. I understand that you might wait two hours at the doctor's, but four hours at IKEA? That's really beyond good and evil. If you have to pay the price for the company's mistake, the least you could have hoped for would have been quick, solution-oriented service. Instead, it was pure frustration. Unfortunately, I have to give it one star; otherwise, I would have given it zero. I'll think twice before buying anything from here again.

Disappointing experience buying a kitchen at IKEA Ludwigsburg I purchased a kitchen from IKEA Ludwigsburg in December and paid for it in full. The planned installation date was December 4th - today it is May and the kitchen is still not fully assembled. Despite multiple phone calls, written inquiries and personal visits to the furniture store, a satisfactory solution has not yet been found. I am referred from department to department, but no concrete information or a binding appointment is given. Unfortunately, the feeling of being taken seriously as a customer does not arise. For a company of this size, this treatment of paying customers is absolutely disappointing. Based on my experience, I can only advise against buying a kitchen at IKEA Ludwigsburg.

I bought a bed and a mattress at the local IKEA today and later picked up the goods from Click & Collect. When I politely asked Mr. Gökhan if I could get assistance with loading, I was told in a dismissive tone that this was fundamentally not possible for transport reasons. When I pointed out that I currently had a shoulder injury, I was met with a curt response: "Yes, that's what shopping at IKEA is like," coupled with the accusation that I had walked in expecting help straight away. To be honest, I was surprised by the way I was spoken to - it's not about the lack of service, but clearly about the tone. A friendly hint would have been enough. Instead, I felt exposed as a customer - especially since there were other customers nearby. I consciously refrained from escalating the situation further because I don't like having discussions in front of other people or publicly embarrassing anyone. What particularly touched me, however, was that an older couple who saw the scene immediately came up to me and spontaneously offered to help me get invited. This shows that kindness and compassion are possible - just unfortunately not from the responsible IKEA employee. I think it's a shame because the last time I shopped at IKEA (a kitchen eight years ago) the service was helpful and attentive from start to finish. I hope that in the future more emphasis will be placed on respectful communication - especially when customers are in a situation in which they need a little support.

Everything fine. A classic IKEA with a large selection and stocked goods. You just have to be well organized and prepared and leave early enough so that you can be there when the store opens. The parking situation is very good, even for larger vehicles. Lunch in the restaurant was also very good. All employees were friendly and prompt. In my opinion, the traffic jams at the self-scan checkouts are mainly caused by the customers themselves; through disorganized procedures and chaotic shopping carts. I deducted one point because, incomprehensibly, not all self-scan checkouts were open on a peak day (Saturday). I think that should be changed.

Ikea's customer orientation and customer service have lost enormously in quality in recent years. I ordered a kitchen in May 2024. After 5-10 assembly appointments and lots of emails and phone calls, the kitchen was finally completed in May 2025, after more than a year, which was associated with time expenditure and increased annoyance. To date, IKEA customer service has not offered me a satisfactory solution. There is no response to emails, you are redirected back and forth on the phone and in the end you are brushed off. Customers are treated like dirt here. I will never buy any IKEA product again in my life.

It's an IKEA like any other. What doesn't work at all are the employees at the hot dog stand, especially the employee Anna B. (although the other colleague wasn't much friendlier either...) I couldn't order strawberry ice cream at the ordering terminal, thought there must be a mistake and went to the counter. I said hello as always and wanted to start ordering. Then this person started saying in a completely inappropriate, mushy tone: You can't order here, only at the terminal. Without a hello back or a friendly grin or anything. I then told her that I couldn't order strawberry ice cream and she said that it couldn't be ordered because the machine was broken. I told her that someone was picking up strawberry ice cream and she then said it was the technician. All in a totally annoyed tone and smug. I then ordered a normal soft ice cream from the machine and asked if I could pay in cash. No, not possible was the answer. 1m away, you can pay for items from the Swedish shop in cash. Someone has to understand that. In any case, I ate the hot dog I ordered and, no lie, two minutes later the strawberry machine worked again. So I went back to the cashier because he didn't take my coins and I thought they were different coins. Then she just half-rolled her eyes: Yes, then you have to throw in the hard one. Yes, sorry that I'm not an IKEA technician. When asked what the price difference would be, she said: Yes, that's your problem now, we have no influence. So sorry, but the good lady definitely knew that and could have said, wait a minute, go back straight away. Furthermore, the good woman should urgently attend a seminar on how to be friendly with customers. She also spoke the same way to people afterwards. When she has a bad day, she just has to pull herself together. I also find it more than a renegade to the older generation not to accept cash and can only order via the kiosk. This is not the case in other IKEA's (yet). IKEA Ludwigsburg, I don't need it...

Even though the IKEA furniture store is quite nice... I really have to force myself to give these two points because the restaurant is a complete disaster... The boss yells at his staff in front of the customers and is still fiddling with my plate. The food is inedible, the vegetables are raw, the fish has a bite... There are no more fries either. This means that the children had to stuff themselves with muffins in order to be somewhat full. Really a tragedy

DISASTER: there have been basically NO FRIES here for some time now. Supposedly unhealthy and harmful to the environment. This is woke paternalism! I don't want to be raised by a spoiled Swedish billionaire clique. Intrusive, impudent, arrogant. Oh yes, there are still fries in Sindelfingen. Maybe the Ludwigsburg executive floor is just particularly submissive towards the corporate management. So, now the review from earlier: Not good at all. The “Köttbullar” meatballs taste like the cheapest pulp. The meat content cannot be too high. The mouthfeel is unpleasantly gritty. Almost unseasoned and bland. The selection of food is poor. If, as an exception, there are schnitzels, they are also from the “tasteless cardboard” category. The same goes for vegetarian versions of everything. Only the goose or duck served at Christmas time is halfway edible. Sometimes there are chicken legs that are just fine. In addition, the food is actually only lukewarm when we are there. Pretty much the worst quality self-service restaurant I know. PS: I don't like the hot dogs at the snack bar downstairs either.

Very disappointing visit to the IKEA restaurant in Ludwigsburg Unfortunately we were cheated at the checkout. We were charged for an additional portion of meatballs that we didn't even order. The receipt says that we bought the meatball dish twice (€13.90) and two individual meatballs (€2.00) - although we only ordered a meal with meatballs. Unfortunately we only noticed this when we got home. We don't expect this kind of behavior from a large company like IKEA. Very disappointing! We strongly advise checking the receipt on site.

We received very friendly service when accepting complaints today! I came with the side rail of a MALM bed. I bought the bed about 10 years ago. Now my side rail broke off in the middle of the night. The employees specifically brought in a current spar. But it turned out that instead of one fastening there are now two. You can guess why three times! :) It's a shame, I was hoping to be able to buy a new spar. Well, maybe I'll get a new bed as a gift because of this good review!? ;)

Unfortunately, it's the same at IKEA now: they only have one checkout where you can pay in cash and four where you have to pay with your card. That's not good. I'm of the opinion that multiple checkouts for cash payers are OK, and I don't care if I can pay with a card, but I want to pay for my things in cash. Update 3/27/25. GLS finally delivers the cover plate...we open the package with witnesses...Hurrah, the plate is damaged, the corner is dented. The package must have been on the way for a long time and has been reloaded countless times because IKEA naturally sent the shipment to the wrong address in the first place, the various stickers on the shipment make this understandable. So the adventure continues March 26th, 2025 I checked again via social media and they confirmed the shipping in writing, which a customer service employee had already confirmed to me on March 13th, 2025. However, you cannot answer me as to whether the record was accidentally delivered by DHL with a reindeer from Älmhult in Sweden instead of me. Update March 21, 2025. Registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the management. No reaction at all, pretending to be dead. Update March 21, 2025. You can see how serious Ikea is by the ridiculous standard comment from IKEA on my review today. Update March 20, 2025. Called customer service again because of course nothing happened again. The employee asked if I hadn't received the cover plate yet? Uh no? Wants to consult, but can't manage to change the phone, I'm thrown off the line. Called again, another employee assured me he would take care of it immediately and call back. Of course nothing happened. Update 3/13/25. Customer service confirms to me from witnesses that the record will be with us via DHL within 3 days... that was again wrong and untrue, nothing has arrived to date. Update 02/27/25 Complained again by phone, again customer service wanted to take care of it immediately and call back, send an email... this didn't happen, here too I was lied to. Update 02/20/25 Another promise that the re-shipment will take place immediately...unfortunately that was untrue again and did not happen. We had bought a Malm chest of drawers, but when we got home we discovered that the top plate had no holes whatsoever. It can happen. Contacted customer service, the lady was friendly and helpful and offered us either a complete replacement (which was out of the question for us, as we had otherwise already completely assembled the furniture and would therefore have to completely dismantle and pack it again with this option), alternatively we could go to Ikea in Ludwigsburg and they would replace the cover plate for us individually. She gave us a process number and agreed with us that we would receive the cover plate there on site within the next two days. When we arrived in Ludwigsburg (at least 40 km one way, then we had to wait twenty minutes because the only lady in the complaints department preferred to have internal discussions first), the lady in the complaints department told us, to our astonishment, that there was neither a replacement plate nor a replacement piece of furniture and that she couldn't help us. When asked why we phoned beforehand, got a process number and made an appointment, she simply shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know why that would be the case, that you and Ikea customer service had nothing to do with each other. She then offered to send us the cover plate (confirmed this in writing on the receipt as attached here), but said she didn't know whether it would take days or months. In addition, it could be that if Ikea Ludwigsburg gets another delivery, the customers would immediately buy everything out again, then we would have been unlucky and would have to keep waiting and get in line. Conclusion: Customer service and furniture stores do not work together and there is no internal communication; this is carried out on the customer's back. You also have to spend a lot of time on the telephone hotline and waiting on site for a mistake that IKEA made. We now have an unfinished piece of furniture sitting around at home without knowing when or if a replacement will be delivered.

I was only delivered half of a table (without legs). A subsequent delivery was not possible, so I was told to order a new table and the old one would be refunded to me. I ordered and paid for the new table and to date (6 weeks later) I have not been reimbursed for half the delivery. Customer service is incredibly difficult to reach (chat, telephone, contact form). I've been in contact several times and always hear the best excuses. Apparently the accounting department has been blocking the process for two weeks now. Ikea is currently illegally withholding 138 euros from me and is obviously not interested in giving me the money back. That was my last purchase here.

I haven't been to IKEA in several years and I was honestly slightly shocked on my most recent visit for the following reasons: 1. If you want to pay in cash you are discriminated against because you have to wait in line for a very long time because only one checkout is open for cash payments, at the same time 5 checkouts were open for digital payment, each of which has 4 terminals, which is 20:1. When we wanted to eat a hot dog afterwards, as was the tradition in the past, we discovered that there were only veggie hot dogs or at most chicken available to buy - pork is taboo and has been banned. I personally see such developments as extremely critical and discriminatory! The furniture from IKEA and the price-performance level are still top, but the previous experience of shopping there has unfortunately fallen victim to woke idealism.

I can't recommend the place. You can't get directly into the restaurant from the entrance. The restaurant itself has a strange pricing policy, the price for Köttbullar is advertised as 7.95 in the restaurant and the receipt then says 6.95 + €1 for extra balls. At the same time the peas ran out and there was a huge queue in the dining area because only one food counter was open (on Saturday) The usual thing in the store itself is that customers have to pay themselves, which is why there are 16 self-pay checkouts open and only 2 normal checkouts. Then items are out and no information can be given when the item will be available again.

Never an Ikea kitchen again! If you don't plan on assembling the kitchen yourself, go somewhere else. Alternatively, find a trustworthy carpenter and never book the assembly option here. I went through the entire kitchen process here and it was a nightmare from the start. I showed up to schedule and the employee was so rude to me that I almost cried. I practically had to beg for her to sell me a kitchen, she said it wasn't possible and that I had wasted my time and money on the measuring service. Luckily, her manager heard how rude she was being and came to check the plan herself. The manager sat there the whole time and made sure I received the plan. My kitchen was purchased in December 2024, delivered at the end of January. The installation team called, made an appointment and arrived on time. I was hopeful that my dream kitchen would be ready by the end of the day. An hour into the work, I heard the workers using swear words. Something had gone wrong! They had cut the worktop almost 50 cm too short. A new one had to be ordered. It took more than a week of emails, daily calls and chats and a lot of time. 10 days passed before I got an answer: The new delivery would take a month!!!! Another month without a kitchen! Okay, a month passed. The new delivery arrived. The next day the installation team called and came. I thought: it will be good the second time, now they will be more careful. Incorrect!!! 30 minutes later and voila! Again they cut it wrong. More emails, more calls, more chats, more nerves… more lost time and no kitchen. Ikea does not have its own assembly team, this is a service they offer through the shipping company W. Roth. Roth, in turn, commissions other companies to assemble kitchens. They send very unprepared workers who speak neither German nor English. Words cannot express my frustration. Only God knows when the third delivery will take place and whether it will finally be assembled correctly. In the meantime I live like in the campsite in my own house. An incomplete cuisine, a bunch of unopened boxes and a mountain of garbage that was left by the last fitters. A €5200 nightmare! —- Update 02/28/25: —- Dear Ikea team, I saw that you replied to me. Nice words, but they don't change the fact that I have to wait a whole month every time your contractors make a mistake. Ideally, cases like mine should be treated with a little more urgency. I have now found out that my contact at Ikea is on vacation and only THEN will the new worktop be ordered. As if it wasn't bad enough. I don't see your company doing enough. Every day I lose an hour on the phone to find out whether there is news.

Easy to reach ..the ramp for Ikea Ludwigsburg is here 48.919037 9.154144...and the entrance 48.91955 9.153288 then from here from the entrance continue towards the ramp through the yard. I discovered the Wc at the entrance to the right a small white door.

This review from 2021 has been DENIED by Google to date! It's unbelievable what's going on in this country!! There are several people standing in front of the entrance taking photos of customers' health data and ID cards! They are arrogant in saying that they have this right! No, they didn't!!! Completely d e v o t e customers submit to this C-o-r-o-n-a policy of discrimination and actually support this data protection crime! Grotesquely, they loudly announced that people who are unvaccinated are to blame for this digital control by retailers and the state!!!! A shame!

The IKEA in Ludwigsburg is very pleasant. The furniture and other accessories you are looking for are usually in stock. The staff will provide friendly and reliable information upon request. Of course, you can always find unplanned things in the yellow bag. Click&Collect and customer service are also great points of contact. I also know other houses in the region; I have already had negative experiences here despite less frequent visits.

I was looking forward to the delicious Swedish Köttbullar. Unfortunately, they tasted horribly greasy. Not like before. The mashed potatoes were watery and, like the gravy, tasted of nothing. It's a shame that you can no longer pay in cash at the hot dog counter (after the cash registers). After three attempts with the Ikea payment card we gave up. A nice employee couldn't do it either. Well, the food was always the secret reason why we usually came here.

why do you have to wait so long at 4 p.m. on a Friday afternoon to return a product... 2 counters open but nothing happens... the friendly employees take their time... even every citizen's office works faster even though you have to fill out a lot more paperwork there... I don't feel like waiting anymore, it's just annoying... every Aldi can handle returns in no time, only ikea Ludwigsburg leaves us customers to burn... please make improvements if possible... that's just not the way to shop with you fun!

very large furniture store and not much going on on Friday at 1.30 p.m., sellers give friendly information, restaurant is very clean and tables are nicely spaced out, the goods distribution is also great, with small chouches distributed where you can wait comfortably inside, or outside in the car, if you stand close enough to the display to be able to see the numbers when you can pick up your goods at the distribution, great job,

Too bad. First there was an extremely long queue (over 15 minutes) if you wanted to pay in cash and then I couldn't even pay for the soft ice cream (€1.50) in cash. I'm disappointed. Always loved being here.

Got everything. IKEA typical. The only point of criticism was the checkout procedures, which caused confusion for most customers. Clear regulations and signage would be helpful for EVERYONE. 1 checkout was staffed, so the waiting time was correspondingly long

As I've read so many times, only a cash register with a long queue in front of it. 3x self-service checkouts open with x checkouts and app checkouts where nothing is going on. Employees stand at the cashless checkouts and monitor the customers, OK important so that everything is paid for. But most people just stand in line at a checkout. Yes at the bar counter cash register. There is also no option to pay with cash at the hot dog stand. Hello, pay 2€ with a card? I think Ikea evaluates itself based on the time customers spend in the house. Unfortunately, 80% of the time is just waiting, whether at the information stand to get information about an item or at the checkout because you want to pay with cash or at the ordering counter, distribution point and the ingredient station for the hot dog distribution. Everywhere just waiting at Ikea. We haven't talked about a complaint yet, but well, wait........ As a cash payer you are simply discriminated against at Ikea Ludwigsburg.

My son hardly ate anything and neither did my wife. No more fries because of CO2 .....no words... We will never eat here again. Maybe you or your employer should think about it...

The range of goods is very good! Chaos at the checkout! 3 cash registers that can only be paid with the Ikea app, all empty! 3 cash registers where you can scan yourself and pay with an EC card, Queues at all 3 checkouts. The absolute blast = hot dog for 2 euros, only payable by card. Customer service is different. I left my full shopping cart there. My slogan for the future: Ikea - no thanks!

Never again Ikea kitchen!! Inadequate service and unreliable installation – not recommended We bought a kitchen 2 months ago but it's still not finished. Fitters don't speak German, deadlines are not kept and there is no communication between Ikea and the subcontractors. Very unreliable and frustrating! We will never buy a kitchen here again.

I bought an item last week using click and collect. Yes, bought it! It's already paid in full! One should assume that these articles will be taken aside. Puppy cake! I received the message today that the item is no longer in stock. Click & collect obviously doesn't work here!

Since the remodeling of the food bank, it's been absolutely stupid. First I have to queue at a pillar, Enter my order myself and can then wait again at the food counter until my number is called so that I then have to queue again at the topping station until I can finish the hot dog. Oh yes, there was an extra line for the drinks and for the soft ice cream. Absolutely no fun with a family where everyone wants something different. The waiting time is also absolutely impossible to estimate; where there used to be a clear queue, it is now just chaos. Whoever pushes through the most ruthlessly wins. And the thing for which we went to an IKEA on a Saturday evening was not there despite it being available online. The last time we went to IKEA was on Saturday and definitely the last time in this one!!!

I have to say a lot of praise for the ladies and gentlemen in the service, they are really very nice and accommodating, something you don't find very often anymore. Food also good, fair price/performance ratio. Small indoor playground, very child-friendly.

Sometimes Germans aren't really that German but they speak and understand what is being said in front of them. You should then gossip amongst yourself... A voltage in the tedeschi is not sono sonoi so tedeschi, the parlano and capiscono quello which can be seen from the davanti a loro. Dovreste allora spettegolare tra di voi...

It's a shame, the Lahmacun has become more expensive and, on top of that, it's no longer freshly homemade. The taste has deteriorated a lot. It's a shame it used to be very tasty.

...I had the daily special (aubergine) today and the apple strudel for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. The price-performance ratio is fantastic. Of course, it's a restaurant next to a sports field, so it's not exactly a posh place. But it was delicious, relaxed, and easygoing! The service was very friendly and helpful. Everything was top-notch. I'll be back soon.
