We've been sitting here for 50 minutes waiting for our breakfast. The coffee just arrived, but the food is still a long way off, and they forgot the sparkling wine. I shouldn't have to wait this long for breakfast, especially since the many negative reviews from the last few weeks point to this problem. They urgently need to work on their restaurant concept; Hofmeister can do much better. Therefore, this will be our first and last visit here.

Ikea is doing everything it can to keep people from coming back. The products you want are constantly out of stock. And the fact that you now have to wait forever at the checkout because there's a huge line, then you scan your items yourself and pay at the machine, has caused me to abandon my shopping. Ikea doesn't have such great items anymore that I'm willing to put myself through this chaos and wait. My entire shopping experience (if you can call it that) consisted of waiting. You really don't need to put up with that anymore.

We reserved a table and were promised a private room. When we arrived, the table was occupied, and we had to sit with other people and the owner. They laughed and gossiped about us. The staff repeatedly gave us disapproving looks, and the owner himself became agitated when someone wasn't sure what they had ordered (because we didn't know the names of the national dishes). He said, "Nobody knows what they're ordering!" with a dismissive look and gesture. The food was okay, but the meat platter for five people was relatively small, even though we had specifically ordered more. The beef and turkey were very dry. We were refused the leftovers we wanted to take with us (even though we had paid for them). We also had to wait 45 minutes for our food. The server implied that we needed to hurry because of a wedding taking place. However, we had reserved two weeks in advance and were told it wouldn't be a problem at all, as the private room was available. Strangely, card payments never go through... "System error." I'm very disappointed with the whole experience, as I actually enjoyed being there! I wouldn't come again!
