IKEA Restaurant Kassel in Lohfelden

Ein etwas kleineres Ikea bei dem aber dankenswerterweise wenig los war wochentags. Alles gut.

Ich komme ab und zu in der Mittagszeit zum Essen oder nach dem IKEA Besuch hier her und bin bisher nie enttäuscht worden. Auch, wenn es extrem voll ist, muss man meist nicht länger als 10min warten, bis man dran kommt. Gute Auswahl an frischen Gerichten und Beilagen und preislich völlig angemessen. Man ist nach der Portion nicht überfressen, sondern angenehm gesättigt. Wem es nicht reicht, der kann für wenige Euro noch ein Dessert nehmen. Sehr empfehlenswert, komme weiterhin vorbei.

Essen ist widerlich. Personal unfreundlich und zu unfähig richtig abzukassieren.

Essen, Atmosphäre, Freundlichkeit - alles hat in den letzten Jahren mehr und mehr nachgelassen. Früher sind wir sogar nur wegen des Restaurants oder wegen der hot dogs zu Ikea gefahren....das lohnt sich definitiv nicht mehr. Natürlich ist jedem klar, dass das nicht das Hauptgeschäft von Ikea ist - aber wenn ich so etwas bewerbe und anbiete, dann muss ich mich auch bemühen, das so gut wie möglich zu machen.

Personal ist sehr nett, preislich in Ordnung. Atmosphäre je nach Wochentag, bei vielen Kindern wird es leider entsprechend laut.

Rude staff at the checkout, male, southern European. Absolutely unacceptable customer behavior. It immediately puts you off shopping there. It was on August 20, 2025, at 3:55 p.m.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great value for money and surprisingly delicious! The restaurant at IKEA Kassel is always worth a visit – not just as a snack while shopping for furniture, but also just for fun! The selection is diverse: from classic meatballs to delicious vegetarian and vegan options to seasonal specialties. Everything is freshly prepared and lovingly presented. The friendly staff is particularly commendable. Despite the often busy schedule, the employees always remain helpful and cheerful. The processes are well organized, so you don't have to wait long even during rush hour. The atmosphere is bright, modern, and child-friendly. Practical: There's a small play area to keep the little ones entertained. My personal favorite: the Swedish salmon dish with mustard and dill sauce – highly recommended! Conclusion: If you're looking for good food at fair prices in a relaxed atmosphere, you'll definitely find what you're looking for at the IKEA restaurant in Kassel.

We went to IKEA for the second time today, this time for breakfast. Honestly, I don't understand why IKEA promotes its food service so heavily. Both the lunch and breakfast options are overrated in my opinion. I'd rather go to the competitor (Höffner). I might pay a few euros more, but I can choose whatever I want for breakfast, and lunch is also convenient, just like at IKEA, but with significantly more flavor!

Horrible cuisine… There's nothing here that you could call food.

The food is a bit bland, and there aren't many different main courses, but for those prices, you could definitely eat at IKEA if you're staying longer. We paid a total of €60 for five adults and one child. This included dessert and refills, of course! It was certainly packed for a Saturday lunchtime, but we still managed to get a seat. So, it's definitely worth it :)

Somehow the black iced lemon tea is always empty. If you ask about it, you'll be told they'll take care of it straight away. Today again, I was at the checkout with a man and asked him to take care of it. Half an hour later I asked again and was ignored by him. So I asked his colleague across the street and she also tried to ask him, which resulted in the same result, suddenly we were being ignored together! Next time I will try it again but ask at the checkout whether this drink is available. It's just a shame that I took three more glasses and was disappointed again... It's probably just my own fault

Unfortunately very long waiting times. Especially on Fridays it would be better if two people served the food. Just waited over 30 minutes.

The Ikea Restaurant Kassel is an overall good restaurant that we would like to go to again. We were there on December 27th. Stopped by for breakfast while passing through. Unfortunately, the restaurant opened about 20 minutes late and then the food delivery was painfully slow. I'm afraid that they simply had far too few staff available that day. Although the restaurant was very busy, not all coffee and other beverage stations were open and the conveyor belt for returning trays was often at a standstill, which is why more and more mountains piled up in front of it. But the breakfast was absolutely convincing in terms of price, quality and taste. Rarely eaten so good and fresh for such a low price. We'll definitely be back! Clear recommendation!

The restaurant is definitely too small for the crowds and especially when you're standing in line to get food, I don't want to think about it if panic breaks out. You get a seat at lunchtime, for example with a long wait, but you already have your food because the serving continues even though there is no more space. Tables dirty.

Prices continue to rise while quality and service continue to deteriorate. Dirty tables, long waiting times, so that the already lukewarm food is cold.

Very tasty Swedish food for a cheap price☺️

Yummy food, the desserts were not very sweet(we tried the waffle with custard and sour cherry sauce, the vanilla pudding and vanilla choco pudding), but that to be expected from german desserts. I liked the waffle the most! There is an all you can drink option from a machine but the options are ice teas, wasser with bubbles or different kind of beverages than cola, sprite or fanta. There is only one cola but is sugar free. You can buy the usual sodas from the restaurant though, get a cup and then try the unlimited ones. The fries,the mashed potatoes and the meatballs were very tasty!

Breakfast, as mentioned many times, is no longer worthwhile. We actually only come for the family hot drinks. But now only open until 5 p.m.?! I have to drink coffee at home again...

Alles soweit in Ordnung. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Toiletten sehr sauber

Kantinenfeeling und immer ordentlich Durchgangsverkehr 🙈 Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt und das Essen schmeckt. Wir sind Wiederholungstäter 😂 Die Freundlichkeit lässt teilweise zu wünschen übrig.

Kurz und knapp: es sieht aus wie in einer Kantine, fühlte sich so an und schmeckte so.

Günstige Kantine wenn es mal schnell gehen soll.

Ein Frühstück lohnt sich derzeit nicht mehr. Ab 10 Uhr ist es nur noch Glückssache ob man noch Brötchen oder gar einen Frühstücksteller mit Brötchenbelag bekommt. Ansonsten Standard Convenience-Food.

Grosse Auswahl, lecker und faire Preise

+ Leckeres Essen - Vor Corona konnte man Getränke an den Zapfstationen beliebig nachfüllen. Nun muss man eine Flasche kaufen. Klar, das ist, um den Begegnungsverkehr zu begrenzen, allerdings begegnet man im Einrichtungshaus ständig anderen Menschen, sodass es so wirkt, als wolle Ikea hier einfach sparen.

Nettes Personal, funktionierende Hygienemaßnahmen, Essen lecker und warm - keine Kaltgetränke aus der Zapfstation, jedoch Kaffee und heiße Schokolade. Registrierung in Restaurant nötig, Testnachweis war nicht erforderlich. Schade, es gibt keinen Hot Dog!!
