Juice shop! Don't go! High prices, unfriendly service and just rubbish! Small portions! 46€ for 2 adults and 1 child. My mushroom sauce had a very strange taste, like it had been bad or had been thawed a few times. NOT edible! DISGUSTING!!!

One star is still too many!!! Rude to the point of no longer possible, long waiting times, exorbitant prices for frozen food. While waiting you can look into the kitchen, no one is wearing gloves, the sausages are touched with your hand, then the cleaning cloth, then your hands are smeared on your pants and then you touch the food again. You pay 10€ for nuggets with fries, 5 nuggets and a mini handful of fries, no lie, it won't even fill a child and if you ask if you could have a little more you get yelled at and told you should give a tip. Just don't go here!!!!! Toilets suck

Unfortunately the food isn't even worth one star, long waiting time, no service, not recommended, I wouldn't want to eat anything here again.

So we wanted your food because of the Lütten, dad was a mistake. The pasta smells like dishwashing liquid, my girl spit out the first one straight away - she loves pasta!!! My mom had fries and after the second one she stopped. The children tried and didn't want to either. I love Königsberger Klopse... I was full after the first bite of cardboard. €28.70 for the bin. Afterwards there was a free stomach ache. The women's toilets were ok, the men's toilets were all peed, even if men pee... never again!!!!

lol. Experience gastronomy. Funny guy at the checkout. You can definitely hear him in the valley 😆. The buffet saves the waiter. Food wasn't so bad. Had a witch's pan for €14.50. That's just cheap these days when a scoop of ice cream costs €2.50 or a bratwurst on the side of the road costs €6.00. The only thing that was annoying was that I had to pay several times because there was no smooth internet at the checkout. But otherwise thumbs up. It wasn't that bad

Ambiance is really traditional and nice. The food is unacceptable. Cold plate, cold sausage, then the feeling of having stones in your stomach. The toilets stink and are unhygienic. Really a shame. Why doesn't the staff make any changes when there are so many bad comments?

Generally overpriced, no question. We once had the witch's pan, which was ok, but the price wasn't right either, currywurst fries were ok, but not ok for the price and the portion either. Nuggets with fries, the fries weren't done yet. One of our group was convinced about the brawn with fried potatoes, which was ok. But we would generally use another of the many options up there next time.

So we decided on the Frit Schnitzel for kids and a large one with mushroom sauce! The first bite - full of disaster! Schnitzel cold, sauce inedible and fries wobbly, soggy and cold with no taste! You couldn't offer that to anyone! We brought it back - the gentleman at the checkout tried the fries from the plate and said they tasted good (?) A guest came after me whose fish wasn't cooked! Here, too, the gentleman at the cash register first discussed which fish it was - which didn't matter - it was raw! We were visibly annoyed and got our money back - but he was by no means friendly! My recommendation is to avoid the store or please close it and relaunch it with a decent concept! The prices are very high and the taste was at the lowest canteen level!!!!! I think this is the first time I've given a store such a negative review! But things can't continue like this

If you ever feel like being yelled at by a bad-tempered, overwhelmed gentleman at the checkout, you have to go here. Don't expect anything from the overpriced food, and don't expect a smile from the staff! But to protect the overwhelmed person: he had already been working for 2 hours!!! Oh yes, one more thing: someone at our table said “it looks like rain” and our coffee drinker replied “it almost tastes like that too”.

The food was super bad. The children's portion with the bad mini schnitzel was just as bad as the large schnitzel. The cabbage roulade was the worst I've eaten in 40 years. Absolutely not recommended!

Seldom eaten so badly. The potato pancakes were pale and wobbly, the yeast dumplings were extremely dry and firm, the blueberries were more pureed than fruit with juice. The potatoes are still very hard. The cabbage roll was also very, very salty. Everything tasted pretty much like ready-made food. The only dish that was acceptable was the witch's pan. Staff was friendly.

Clean and tidy, the bean stew with Vienna was OK in terms of quantity and tasted well. The service person at the counter was very curt. A little more friendliness would be better. The restaurant is accessible with a wheelchair but the toilet is not.

Phew, that was really bad. If only I had read the reviews beforehand! Worst ready-made cafeteria food. Dirty, beer mats with holes, small portions for high prices. The store only survives because of its location. That's really a disgrace, I would be so ashamed if it were my shop.

I can only agree with the other reviews. The food is just warmed up and it feels like it's the third time. After I wanted to give feedback on the food, the gentleman at the checkout asked me to leave the restaurant. Customer feedback is not welcome there. I have rarely experienced such bad “hospitality” in my life. Only bad!

In a nice place but expensive and little to eat, you have to get the food yourself and have to wait at the checkout until it is ready. The potato salad tasted like it was store bought.

Currywurst with fries for 10.50 euros. Mayo/ketchup then has to be paid additionally. That would be okay too. However, the portion was an absolute joke and it was the worst currywurst of our lives. Currywurst cannot be recognized as currywurst. Sauce bland and far too runny, hardly any curry powder. Sausage cannot be identified as bratwurst or bockwurst, tastes absolutely rubbish. Fries limp and unsalted, probably warmed in the microwave judging by the color. Staff absolutely unfriendly. In addition, with these prices you don't even get served, you have to pick everything up yourself and then take it away.

Canteen-style food at hefty prices. Portions rather small and in the middle range of the taste scale. You can't rate the service because there is no service other than the food distribution. Conclusion, rather sniff at the huts or the food trucks on the way to the witches' dance place.

Where do I start... Two currywurst fries with mayonnaise and a cola each. I have no idea what kind of sausage it was. The taste was simply delicious. The "curry sauce" was runny and tasteless. The fries we ordered were barely salted, only lukewarm and tasted like feet that had fallen asleep. In terms of color, it had nothing to do with fries. It was a disaster. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store!!!

There is almost no hospitality here at all, the food is just canteen level, dry, ready to eat, Coca Cola diluted with water and many more things that you could list, especially the prices are just way too expensive.

Rarely has such bad food, the service argues loudly with the cashier in front of the customer, just really bad. Königsberger Klaps, hard potatoes, the food warmed up, Klaps cold and out of the can. Children's dish, fries with nuggets, burnt fries, nuggets rock garden and incredibly thick breading. Just bad.

Unfortunately, our visit to the Hexenbuffet restaurant at the Berghotel Hexentanzplatz was anything but pleasant. The nuggets and fries we ordered were extremely watery and inedible. What was particularly disappointing was that when you placed your order you could see the salad being taken from small containers that were definitely not intended for salad - that didn't leave a good impression in advance. While ordering the food, the cashier wanted to start billing far too early, which was very unpleasant. By having to wait for our food, other guests had to wait for us at the checkout, which made the entire experience even more chaotic and stressful. The organization seemed completely out of date and we lost our appetite during the preparation. The only edible parts of our meal were the fries, but unfortunately that's not enough to lure us back to this cafeteria-style restaurant. It's a real shame because you could do so much more with it. My impression is that this restaurant only thrives on the view and the walk-in customers who only visit once for a short time. Our first visit will definitely be our last. A pity.

Without words the worst food I've ever had...French fries like from the leftover kitchen, schnitzel so dry that you couldn't chew two bites and Soljanka the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten...and then pay 26 euros for it...niiiieee again!!!!!!

The food was good, but unfortunately the portion was very small. Königsberger meatballs with potatoes. 2 dumplings 2 divided potatoes. I didn't get enough of it. We sat on a bench outside. Unfortunately, my husband didn't see that the bench had a sharp hole and tore his jeans on his bottom 😭🥺.

After I was allowed to pay €19.80 for a small portion of fries with schnitzel and 2 small drinks, which I did with a card, I wanted to have another bag of ketchup, which, strangely white, wasn't included in the €12 for the fries. When I wanted to pay for it like the rest with a card, I was unfortunately turned away because it's only "from 10 €" and then I ate it without ketchup. The place is a disgrace if, with such exorbitantly high prices, you're too embarrassed to just give out a bag of ketchup, especially when you're absolutely ripping off poor customers. Please bring your own food or a kitchen including a chef there - it will definitely be cheaper and more pleasant than being ripped off by the place.

We chose fries with nuggets and potato salad with pollack fillet. The portion of fries and nuggets was almost the same size as the meal bag from well-known fast food restaurants. However, the price was twice as high. We may have been allowed to use numbers for the great view. The view was sensational. The potato salad tasted like it had been made from a cup. And the side salad was a hint of ready-made coleslaw. (But you almost have to look for it..) The fish and the nuggets were not for people with dentures. The service from the employee who was responsible for serving food was subpar. Annoyed groans and eye rolls because many guests didn't change their minds right away or at short notice when it came to choosing the dishes. All in all just over €20 for 2 dishes without drinks.

These were by far the worst and most expensive fries we have ever eaten. €7.60 for discounter fries without salt is simply too much. In addition, the staff was very listless.

The schnitzel tasted like fried clay cardboard. You don't actually serve something like that to anyone! This bordered on bodily harm and one should have demanded compensation!

Something urgently needs to change here. The food is not good. 3 potato pockets from the discounter with salad for €13. This is incredibly cheeky. Time has stopped here. The decor is very nostalgic. The toilet smells really bad. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't particularly friendly either. I don't think we've ever eaten so badly. 🙈 And what I personally found disgusting was the ant trap right at the table. It doesn't have to be that way.

They kindly served us redardless that it was nearly after hours and offered great coffee and amazing cakes! Happy, refreshed and warmely welcomed, we continued our hike 🥾

The food was of the lowest standard, I had a steak (almost 30€) which, instead of being fried medium, was almost English (I might have been able to cope with that), but the meat was of extremely poor quality and had a very strange taste. The (leaf) lettuce served with it actually only consisted of chopped lettuce stalks. My complaint was grudgingly responded to and it was taken off the bill, but afterwards the waiter was even grumpier than before. My husband's and my child's food wasn't a feast for the palate either, but at least it didn't taste spoiled... We will never go there again and we will advise all friends and acquaintances not to do so.

The coffee was really sour, the ice cream was also a joke. In my opinion, that kind of thing is cheating! Everything was overpriced, toilets smelled. Once and never again.

If you like bad, uncoordinated service with bad sayings and cheap deep fryer food at overpriced prices (e.g. ketchup sachets for €0.70), this is the place for you. I strongly advise everyone else not to visit.

Some absolutely unfriendly staff. Overpriced canteen food. 3 croquettes instead of fries are 1.50 euros more, but if you chose fries instead of croquettes, it's also 1.50 euros. Why drive people away with a lot of noise?

Ich spare mir den Pluspunkt mit der Terrasse und dem fantastischen Blick ins Tal und komme direkt zum Essen: Denn das ist leider unfassbar minderwertige TK-Ware… Ich hatte die schlechteste Currywurst seit Menschengedenken für 10,50 Euro, die mir noch Stunden später schwer im Magen lag. Dazu gab es Pommes Frites, die mehr Luft als Kartoffelbestandteile in sich hatten. Meine Kids hatten zwei abgezählte Dino-Chicken-Nuggets mit ähnlich katastrophalen Pommes für 9,10 Euro (!!!). Wohlgemerkt ein Kinderessen. Komplett irre. Meine Frau hatte irgendetwas hackähnliches mit einer Käsefüllung. Zusammenfassend lässt sich der Besuch in diesem Restaurant als extrem überteuertes Missverständnis festhalten. Es ist absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Pommes und kleine Fanta bei Selbstbedienung : 9,70€. Auf die Frage, ob man sich verrechnet habe, bekam ich noch eine pampige Antwort. In die Jahre gekommene Einrichtung, etwas lieblos aber typisch Selbstbedienungshütte. Da kommt man nie wieder.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Das Ambiente am Abend, wenn alle Touristen weg sind.. ein rundum perfekter Abend. Und der Ausblick auf die Landschaft, den Brocken und auf Thale. Wirklich toll

Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort und hatten ansich ausreichende Portionen. Wäre jetzt meckern auf hohem Niveau . 3 Kartoffelpuffer (hatte wenig Farbe und doch sehr latschig) mit Apfelmus. Salat(Chinakohl, Frühlingszwiebeln Tomate, Gurke und Dressing)mit 1 Hähnchenspieß(hatte für den Preis schon 2 Spieße mindestens erwartet). Der Spieß war aber super gebraten und zart. Hähnchenschnitzel mit Pilzrahmsauce und Pommes waren auch okay. Alles schon mal leckerer und günstiger gegesse. Aber wir sind satt geworden. Personal war freundlich und flott. Da Selbstbedienung kann ich das Personal nicht weiter bewerten. Ambiente war Rustikal passend zur Berghütte eingerichtet. Preis-Leistung stimmt auf keinen Fall würde nochmal überlegen dort hin zugehen oder nicht doch nur ner Bratwurst auf die Hand zu nehmen.

Von außen sehr freundlich und einladend. Selbstbedienung störte uns nicht. Das Personal an der Kasse war zunächst freundlich. Das Essen war ein Reinfall. Kartoffelpuffer mit Apfelmus waren lieblos auf den Teller geklatscht. TK-Puffer nicht mal richtig ausgebacken. Dafür waren die beiden Nuggets (Dino-Nuggets mit Pommes für 9 Euro) zu lange in der Pfanne. Das Schnitzel war ganz ok, aber die Champignon-Soße dazu einfach ungenießbar.Als wir dann nach extra Ketchup gefragt haben, wurde uns unfreundlich ein Tütchen für 0,70 Euro verkauft. Alles in allem sehr enttäuschend und für diese Unqualität auch viiieel zu teuer.

Von den Preisen im benachbarten Hotel-Restaurant wurden wir ins Hexenbuffet vertrieben. Die Hexenpfanne war völlig versalzen, einfach ungenießbar. Für die Kinder gab's Nuggets und Pommes für über 9 Euro (Selbstbedienung, Fertigessen). Nie wieder. Hätte die Bewertungen vorher lesen sollen

So unterschiedlich wie die Geschmäcker so verschieden sind auch die Rezensionen. Im Bufettlokal hinter dem Hotelrestaurant haben wir sehr gut und preiswert gegessen. Während das vordere Lokal oft voll und von Gruppen besucht wird, isst man hier, hinter dem Hotel, in Ruhe und schnell, da Selbstbedienung. Die Kohlroulade war toll und im Vergleich zu Gerichten in anderen Gaststätten günstig. Für eine "Berggaststätte" ist das Ambiente in Ordnung und zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten gehofft, dass sich das Niveau des Essens mit der Zeit verbessern würde. Doch leider ist dem nicht so. Wir waren in den letzten 15 Jahren das dritte Mal in diesem Restaurant. Doch leider hat sich der Koch bzw. die Restauration nicht wirklich weiterentwickelt. Auch passt für ein Hotelrestaurant nach wie vor das Preisleistungsverhältnis nicht. Ich finde das sehr schade, denn in diesem Objekt würde sehr viel Potenzial liegen.

Manche Rezensionen kann ich hier absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Ich habe dort mit Abstand den leckersten Erbseneintopf seit langem gegessen. Durch die steigende Inflation muss man sich auch bewusst sein,das auch die Preise in Gastätten steigen, und wenn ich Essen gehe,dann gebe ich eben auch mehr Geld aus als was man Zuhause kocht. Ich finde Preis/Leistung vollkommen in Ordnung und akzeptabel. Ich würde jeder Zeit wieder da Essen gehen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Hunde sind auch herzlich willkommen.

Das Verkaufspersonal ist sehr nett und Hilfsbereit, das Essen ist sehr lecker 😋. Es sind gute Portionen und alles ist selbst gemacht nix aus der Dose oder Mikrowelle gute deutsche Hausküche. Die Preise sind voll in Ordung. Es ist alles sauber dort und man kann sich mal ein paar Minuten entspannen vom Trubel auf dem Hexentanzplatz. Hunde sind herzlich willkommen.

Hirschbraten mit klössen... Einfach himmlich, ein wenig kostspielig ja, aber er ist es wert... Im restaurant hat man tolle aussicht, aber auch im aussenbereich..

Das positive zuerst, es gibt eine tolle Aussicht. Das Essen ist überteuert, nicht gut und zu wenig. Den zweiten Stern bekommt die Kassiererin, sie war wenigstens freundlich.

Wir hatten Espresso und Cappuccino. War gut, aber nicht gerade billig.

Ein teurer Imbiss. Ich sag mal so, geschmeckt hat es, aber ist halt alles nur Fast Food und das sehr preisintensiv. Pressschnitzel und Tiefkühl-Gemüsemischung. Alles aus der Friteuse. Die Rahmchampions haben ganz gut geschmeckt. Pommes waren i.O. aber da kann man ja nicht viel falsch machen. Ist auch eher wie eine Kantine da alles Selbstbedienung ist.
